Cindy was born to John and Patricia (Hatfield) Hardesty on June 30, 1963 in Plymouth, IN. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1981. She attended House of Prayer. She worked as a general laborer. She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.
Cindy is survived by her daughter, Brandi Price; her sons: Brandon Price (Amber Beaver); Nathan Price; her sister, Karen (Adam) Leazenby; her brother, John Hardesty; her brother-in-law, James Lawton, Jr.; and her grandchildren: Akiari Bacon; Liberty Price; Jacobe McCarty; Braysin Beaver; and Paizley Beaver.
Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Hardesty (4/3/2008); her father, John Hardesty (5/7/2001); her sisters: Candy (2/2010) and Connie Lawton (4/2/2024).
Cremation has been chosen and no services are scheduled.

Obituary Preview: Connie A. Lawton, age 56, of Rochester, IN, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in her home. She was born to John and Patricia (Harfield) Hardesty on September 21, 1967 in Plymouth, IN.
Connie graduated from Plymouth High School in 1986. She married James E. Lawton, Jr. on May 14, 2005. She worked as a waitress at Ruth’s Diner in Bourbon and Tippecanoe, cleaned at Bremen Castings, and worked at Indiana Glass, Action Glass, and Topps Industry. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, caring for her plants, doing puzzles, diamond painting, listening to music, mostly rock-n-roll, and dancing.
Connie is survived by her husband, James Lawton, Jr. of Rochester, IN; her daughters: Crystal (Ronnie) Tyler, Jr. of Bremen, IN; Cambria (Ray) Cook of Bremen, IN; adopted daughter Krystal Conrad of Ohio; her grandchildren: Brooklyn; Boston; Brianna; Braxton; Jaymin; Jaydin; Ronnie (Hannah); and Lydia; her great-grandchildren: Ezekiel and Donnie; her sisters: Cindy Price; Karen (Adam) Leazenby; and her brother, John Hardesty.
Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Hardesty (4/3/2008); her father, John Hardesty (5/7/2001); her son, Cameron Lawton (1/2022); and her sister, Candy (2/2010).
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).
A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Sommers officiating.
The burial will take place in Tyner Cemetery (Tyner, IN).

Dr. Phyllis J. Hessler-Gray - June 18, 1927 - March 27, 2024

Obituary Preview: Dr. Phyllis J. Hessler-Gray, age 96, of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away on March 27, 2024 at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home of Plymouth, Indiana. She was born on June 18, 1927 in Marshall County, Indiana to Donald W. and Anna Marie (Espich) Muffley.
Phyllis was a retired educator and school psychologist. She received her doctorate from Ball State University and her graduate and undergraduate degrees from Indiana University. She taught elementary students in Plymouth, undergraduate students at William Woods College in Fulton, Missouri, where she was chosen by the students to receive the Dad’s Association Distinguished Faculty Award in 1983. She also taught graduate students at Eastern Kentucky University, in Richmond, Kentucky. Phyllis was a School Psychologist in the J.E.S.S.E. school corporation in Plymouth.
Phyllis was an active and dedicated member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Plymouth, where she was a church schoolteacher, served on the Vestry, Altar Guild, was an usher, volunteered at the Non-Food Pantry, and was a member of the Women’s Prayer Group. She was an alumnae member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority and was also a volunteer at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth. Phyllis was also a Board Member of the Cancer Association of Marshall County, Indiana.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Dean) Meyer of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; her grandchildren: Bridget (Justin) German of Somerville, Tennessee; and Brian (Jamie) Meyer of Nashville, Tennessee; her great-grandchildren: Everett German; Ainsley German; Logan Meyer; and Amber Meyer; her sister, Linda Allen of Plymouth; her brothers: Jimmie Muffley of Newport News, Virginia and Richard Muffley of Plymouth; her sister-in-law, Betty Muffley of Ottawa, Ohio; and her nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in passing by her husbands, William D. Hessler, married in 1946-his death 1986; Victor R. Winrotte, married 1988-his death 1992; and Eugene R. Gray, married 1995-his death 2016. Also preceding her in death were her siblings: Frederick Muffley; Billy Muffley; Beverly Muffley; Judith Brinkman; and Herbert Muffley.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church (400 N. Center St., Plymouth, IN 46563), followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery (Plymouth, IN).

Margie was born to Thomas J. and Ruby (Armentrout) Berndt, Sr. on July 8, 1956 in Knox, IN. She married Ray Hite on December 1, 1973. She did factory work and was a cook at Ancilla College until her retirement. She enjoyed using computers, marble games, taking vacations, and spending time with her family.
Margie is survived by her husband, Ray Hite; her daughter, Missy (Brent) Cramer of Goshen, IN; her sister, Loretta Burger of South Bend, IN; her grandchildren: Cassie Cramer; Sara Cramer; Blake Cramer; Trenton Hite; Ethan Hite; Megan Hite; her step-grandchildren: Michael (Baylee) Schlemmer; Tierra Shidlerr; and her 5 great-grandchildren.

Timothy was born on June 19, 1976 in Plymouth, IN to Phillip and Pamela (Krathwohl) Chizum of Plymouth. Timothy was outgoing, creative, and head strong. He stood firm on his beliefs and was friendly to his neighbors in need. Between factories and the fitness center, he worked hard and played hard. His playfulness spilled over when he was able to pick on his nephews. And no adventure was too big or small. He regularly darted off to enjoy kayaking, swimming, biking, hiking, visiting the dunes, and any other outdoor activity he could find.
Timothy is survived by his parents, Phillip Chizum of Middlebury, and Pamela Chizum of Plymouth; his sister, Tara Chizum of Plymouth, IN; his brother, Travis Chizum of Middlebury, IN; his half-brother, Phillip Chizum; his paternal grandfather, Lee (Luella) Chizum; his aunts and uncles: Mark; JD; and Kim; and his nephews and niece whom he loved: Zachary (Ariana) Edington; Coltin (Jasmine) Edington; Tristan Chizum; Morgan Chizum; Jaren (Jenna) Chizum; and Kamrie Chizum.
Timothy is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Joyce Chizum; and maternal grandparents, Norris and Lois Krathwohl.

Sharon was born in Plymouth, IN on April 19, 1940 to Lillian Marie Eads and graduated from Culver High School in 1958. On July 12, 1969, she married the love of her life, Thomas Wayne Wood who preceded her in death on September 1, 2020.
For many years, Sharon worked as a care provider in her home for elderly patients. She was also a member of New Song Church in Plymouth, and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, caring for her pets, and baking delicious cookies for her family.
Sharon leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness in her children: Mark (Brad Cybulski) Porman of South Bend, IN; Philip Porman (Shelly Siade) of Culver, IN; Thomas Wood, Jr. of Culver, IN; Wally (Tonia) Wood of Mishawaka, IN; her grandchildren: Crystal Porman (Jarvis Long); Virginia Wood; Taylor Wood; Morgan (Cody) DeSmith; Tyler Wood; and her great-grandchildren: Gage; Giana; Destiny; Ryland; Emery; Micah; Hunter; Makenna; and the countless friends and community members whose lives she touched.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband; mother; grandparents: Albert Lee and Pearl Mae Eads; sister, Cindy Eads; son, Timothy Porman; and grandson, Michael Porman.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

Mary Alyce Pentelow - May 08, 1928 - February 19, 2024

Obituary Preview: Mary Alyce Ruff Pentelow, 95, walked through Heaven’s gates on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Miller’s Merry Manor of Plymouth, IN.
Mary Alyce was born at home in North Liberty, IN on May 8, 1928. She was the second daughter of Ennis and Dorotha (Bare) Ruff. She graduated from West High School in May of 1946. She attended most class reunions over the years, however, only her best friend, Liz Brown survives. Mary Alyce, Liz, and Ruth Beatty were part of the 1939 softball team that won at the State level. She met Leon K. Pentelow right out of high school and they were married November 17, 1947. They resided in the Plymouth area for their entire 78 years of marriage.
Mary Alyce worked at home as a seamstress. She created prom and wedding dresses, baby layettes, and Halloween costumes, as well as doing alterations. A lady of many skills, she created hand crafts, such as quilts, cloth dolls, lace dollies, and knitted items. Before her stroke, she crafted cloth purses and sold many at local craft shows. She attended the First United Church of Christ since her marriage in 1947. She was a very active member over the years, teaching Sunday School and as a council member. Mary Alyce raised two sons and cared for two grandchildren and several nieces. Her home was the daycare for her two grandchildren and three nieces. She loved her family and provided valuable lessons of love and care. She followed the Chicago Cubs and Bears all her life, Go Cubbies!
Mary Alyce is survived by her two sons: James L. (Mary L.) Pentelow of Argos, IN; Lynn A. Pentelow of Plymouth, IN; her grandchildren: Amy M. (Clint) Spriggs; David J. (Kristina) Pentelow; her great-grandchildren: (Amy) Baylee; Brett; Julia; Daria; (David) Kassidy; and Samantha; and her 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Mary Alyce was preceded in death by her parents, Ennis and Dorotha Ruff; her siblings; and 1 nephew.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).
A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Krieg officiating.

Dan had a love for God and accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated from Columbia City High School in 1990. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar, and spending time with family, especially his grandchild, Jasmine. His most precious time was spent with her. He collected toy hummers, knives, and guns. Dan was a hard worker and dedicated 20 years at AM General in Mishawaka, IN. On July 24, 1993, Dan wed Tina (Kumfer) Smith. Their union produced a wonderful family of 4 kids.
Dan is survived by his wife, Tina Smith; son: Jon Smith; Blake Smith; daughters: Mariah Smith; Taylor Smith; and one 9-year-old grandchild, Jasmine Thiry; his parents, Patricia and Ray Smith; his sister, Cindy Smith; half-sisters: Jamie Newkirk; Melanie Simmons; his niece, Andrea Robinson; and his nephew, Bradey Smith.
Dan was preceded in death by Manti Louise Ernest; Howard Ernest; John T. Kilbourne; Wilma Kilbourne; Ora and Dixie Smith; Victoria Kumfer.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church (9989 S State Road 9, Columbia City, IN 46725).

Keith was born on January 7, 1930 to Fred Deacon and Ina May (Fenstemaker) Jefferies in Argos, IN. He married Eva Lucille O’Hara on September 4, 1948 in Argos, IN, she preceded him in death on January 2, 2017. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Teamsters Union #364. He worked as an ice cream trucker for Schlosser Dairy, as a semi driver for several places, a diesel mechanic for Whiteford, he farmed, and he worked for Transit-Mix until his retirement. He enjoyed flower gardening, woodworking, coloring books, camping, playing euchre, having fun, and was known as a jokester and a snowbird who went to Florida in the winter.
Keith is survived by his daughters: Linda Hamann of Argos, IN; Karen (Richard) Markley of Plymouth, IN; Debra Nifong of Plymouth, IN; his son, Larry (April) Jefferies of Plymouth, IN; his 8 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ina Jefferies; his wife, Eva Jefferies; his sisters: Mary Puterbaugh; Barbara Riewoldt; and Marcille Cass.

Obituary Preview: Robert Edward Kuhn, 91, of Plymouth, IN, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in his home.
Robert was born to Floyd A. and Madeline (Slough) Kuhn on April 22, 1932 in Mishawaka, IN. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1950. He married Betty Grant on September 22, 1967. He worked for Bomarko as a manager of inventory of products and shipping and receiving until his retirement. He was also a lifetime farmer. He enjoyed bowling in his bowling league and in state competitions, and coaching little league. He loved baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. He liked trains, collected bald eagles, and was very patriotic and supportive of his family.
Robert is survived by his wife, Betty Kuhn; his daughter, Melinda (Bryan) Lucas of Apopka, FL; his sons: Michael Kuhn of Mishawaka, IN; Arthur Kuhn of Knox, IN; Jeffrey Kuhn of Mishawaka, IN; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and his daughter-in-law, Diane Rose of Fort Wayne, IN.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Madeline Kuhn; and his son, Bruce Rose.
A graveside service will be held for family and close friends on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in New Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel (1300 Chester St., Plymouth, IN 46563) with Pastor Kristin Harp officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Marshall County (314 E Jefferson St, Plymouth, IN 46563) or to the Marshall County Historical Museum (123 N Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46563).

Obituary Preview: At 3:53 a.m. on February 8, 2024, Margaret “Kelly” E. Renforth celebrated her birthday into eternity as she was welcomed home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, after a long, heart-breaking period of physical and mental decline inflicted on her by dementia.
Margaret “Kelly” Renforth, 86, was born on February 7, 1938, in Elkins, West Virginia, the daughter of Herbert and Anna Grace (Biller) Streets. She was one of twelve children. Through her eldest brother Kenny, she met the love of her life, Orville “Jim” Renforth, whom she married on April 27, 1965. They celebrated 54 years of marriage before his passing on January 31, 2020.
Kelly had a joyous spirit and a deep love of family that was unparalleled. She was the most caring, sweetest, kind, loving, and selfless daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and soon would have been a great-great-grandmother. She will be forever deeply loved and missed.
Kelly and her two sisters raised her siblings after the devastating loss of her parents in a short period of time, while raising her eldest daughter, Donna. Kelly had a natural instinct with kids. Her family meant the world to her. She adored her kids and grandchildren. Kelly had a love and ease of cooking. She was a fantastic cook at many restaurants, including Culver Academy and Schoop’s of Plymouth, IN. She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church of Plymouth, IN.
Kelly was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Anna Grace; her husband, Jim Renforth; five brothers: Kenny; Bob; Ted; Randal; and Ralph; and two sisters: Sommie Kruder and Mona Akers.
Kelly is survived by her daughter, Donna (Miklas) Veger and their children: Gary (Amanda) Smith; Matthew (Melissa) Smith; Jason (Mallory) Smith; her son, Shawn (Jennifer) Renforth and their children: Gracee; Evan; Cannon; Giavonna; Jordan; and Matias; her daughter, Kristi (Brian) Marr and their children: Seth Marr; Caden (Karen) Marr; and Coltan Marr. Kelly is also survived by two brothers: Calvin and Delbert Streets; two sisters: Diane Riccardi; and Norma Streets; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson on the way.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).
A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
The burial will take place in Burr Oak Cemetery (Culver, IN).

Donald is survived by his wife, Patty Hobbs of Plymouth, IN; his daughter, Shannon Stoops of Greenfield, IN; his son, Garet (Ann Marie) Hobbs of Knightstown, IN; his 8 grandchildren; and his 10 great-grandchildren; plus several nephews and nieces and close friends.

Michael is survived by his wife, Cheah Scott; his stepdaughter, Devyn Linhart of Walkerton, IN; his mother, Martha Thacker of Walkerton, IN; his stepsister, Kari (John) Ludvig of Bourbonnais, IL; his stepbrother, Kurt Thacker of Momence, IL; his in-laws: Dyke (Carol) Minix in Rochester, IN; and Terri (Rodney) Edgington of Culver, IN.
Michael was preceded in death by the father who raised him, Clarence Thacker; and his maternal grandparents, Vera and Tony Wolken.

Obituary Preview: Carolyn J. Maxson, 78, of Plymouth, IN, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 in Warsaw Meadows Care Center, of Warsaw, IN.
Carolyn was born to Lowell and Maxine (Beldon) Maxson on May 18, 1945 in Plymouth, IN. She was married to Charles “Mikey” High on September 5, 1999, until his passing on May 8, 2011. She worked as an environmental services director at Pilgrim Manor, and in Behavioral Health Services until her retirement from Michiana Behavioral Center of Plymouth, IN.
She enjoyed gardening, her cat companions, wildlife, feeding birds, raccoons, and deer, attending all of her grandchildren’s events, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her family was the most important to her and made her so proud. She always looked forward to family cookouts, gatherings, birthday parties, holidays, and any event where she could eat food and especially cake. Christmas was her favorite holiday as she would anticipate her tradition of baking cookies months in advance. She had a passion for baking and was famously known for her Christmas cookies. She would bake dozens upon dozens of different varieties of Christmas cookies and would spend countless hours pouring her love into making each one of them to perfection; so many labor-intensive cookies that she recruited the help of her children and grandchildren over the years. Family and friends would eagerly await to fill their cookie trays full of her special Christmas cookies.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters: Gail (John) Thompson of Plymouth, IN; Sandra Busam (Sheila Mann) of Knox, IN; her sons: Daniel Carroll of Plymouth, IN; David (Esmeralda) Carroll of Plymouth, IN; her grandchildren: Alston (Stephanie) Listenberger of Indianapolis, IN; Kennedy Thompson of Columbus, IN; Kade Busam of Plymouth, IN; Joshua Carroll of Plymouth, IN; Samuel Carroll of Plymouth, IN; Alayna Carroll of Plymouth, IN; Trinity Eby of Plymouth, IN; her great-grandchildren: Cerys Listenberger of Indianapolis, IN; Emma Listenberger of Indianapolis, IN; Rian Whipker of Columbus, IN; Ronan Whipker of Columbus, IN; her sister, Linda (Bruce) Lacher of South Bend, IN; her brothers: Doug VanSkyock of Bourbon, IN; James Maxson of Elkhart, IN; and Troy Baughman of Plymouth, IN.

James "Jim" M. Hulse - September 22, 1943 - January 25, 2024

Obituary Preview: James (Jim) M. Hulse, 80, of Plymouth, IN went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2024 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Jim was born in Goshen, IN in 1943. He later settled in South Bend until his move to Plymouth, Indiana in 1982 where he spent the remaining 42 years married to the love of his life Connie (Boudry) raising her 2 children and 3 of their own. Jim was a great father, he never distinguished ours or hers, the 5 were always his. He enjoyed seeing his sons participate in sports, school functions, and the many nightly rides on the 4 wheelers as they grew up.
Those who knew Jim know that he was a hard-working man with many gifts. Jim attended electronic school where he became well versed in paging systems, nurse call systems, and sound systems. He did the wiring in many churches including Notre Dame and other schools. Eventually he started doing tower installations with Pi Rod now known as Valmont. He specialized in AM systems. He was a Veteran, electrician, a fire fighter for 15 years, and a welder. Jim was also an Inventor with four patents. Jim spent his growing up years “in Church” where he learned at a young age doing for others. He attended Sumrall’s Church in South Bend, IN. and later PWC, and the last many years Plymouth Baptist Church in Plymouth, IN. Jim was involved with missions in his early teen years and until he took his last breath. Jim and Connie, started the non-profit mission organization, Towers For Jesus in 1999. He started building a relationship with Tom King of Kintronic Labs who designed the phasing and needed equipment for radio station builds. For over 20 plus years they followed the calling of the Lord building Christian Radio Stations around the world, along with their 3 youngest children. Some of the most notable Christian Missions he worked with were HCJB, World Radio Network, Billy Graham Ministry, Trans World Radio, Far East Broadcasting, Paaro Radio in Estonia and Calvary Chapel Network, Radio Glory in the Congo, to name a few. The last major project for Towers For Jesus was in Bonaire for TWR, where he was called to upgrade a prior build at a 100,000-watt Christian station to a more powerful 440,000-watt station with a potential audience of 100 million plus. Over 1/3 of the world can now hear the gospel and good news of Jesus Christ’s word “So All May Hear." During Jim’s missionary travels he visited over 25 countries, had logged 245 flights and 109 Mission projects. To the Lord be the Glory
Jim is survived by his wife Connie Hulse, and four children, Terry (Brenda) Hulse (Ryan, Katelyn, Lindsay, and LeAnn). Craig (Amanda) (Annaliese and Elaina) Rogge, Christopher (Leila) (Oliver and Emilia) Hulse, and Cayla Hulse, (Calron), Jim is also survived by his sister, Lois Hulse, as well as many other family and friends. Trista Bennett (Travis) (Kaylie, Kyla) Jim was predeceased by his three sons, Tim Hulse, Curt Rogge, and Corey Hulse, and a sister Ruth Hulse.
Funeral service will be held at the Plymouth Baptist Church, (11345 9A Road, Plymouth, Indiana 46563) on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024 with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., and service from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. followed by a short graveside service at Tyner Cemetery. There will then be a Celebration of Life meal at Plymouth Baptist Church for family and friends beginning at approximately 4:15 PM.
Memorial contributions are requested to the Plymouth Baptist Church in Jim's memory.

Robert was born to William and Isabel (Barker) Whitmer on May 14, 1937 in Canton, OH. He graduated in 1955 from Lehman High School in Canton, OH. He married Donna Taber on July 21, 1984. He was a member of the American Legion #427 of Plymouth, IN and a former Elk’s member. Served in the United States Navy on the USS Strong #758 from 1955 – 1957. He worked at American Electric Power in Canton, OH. as a Lab Manager. Then he became a Specialist working at an AEP, Ultra-high voltage research plant in Lakeville, IN. He enjoyed woodworking of all kinds, fishing and camping in Canada, loved animals, the Breakfast Group, and fun at the Legion. He enjoyed anything related to weather, and had many weather stations, he enjoyed monitoring.
Robert will be missed by his wife, Donna Whitmer and his son, Bill (Kim) Whitmer of Dunedin, FL.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, William and Isabel Whitmer; his daughter, Rebecca Chapman; his sisters, Mimi Heighway and her husband, Chuck; Dori Hummel and her husband, Bill; and his sister-in-law, Jan Leap.

Betty was born on August 27, 1929 to Alfred and Alta (Hovis) Jensen in Donaldson, IN. She married Robert Geist, Sr. on September 10, 1949 and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2004. She was a member of the Blessed Hope Church of Plymouth, IN. She retired from Plymouth High School after 27 years of service while in her 70s. She was a loving wife, mother and friend. For many years she was an office manager at Garden Court Apartments. She served her community in many ways. She was on the board of directors for the Hospital Auxiliary for several years. Also, during 6 of her summers, she cooked meals for the kids of Kiwanis Camp for Crippled Children. Her hobby was the love of baking delicious food, especially desserts, and sharing them with her family and friends.
Betty is survived by her son, Robert Geist, Jr. of Plymouth, IN; her daughter, Anita (David) Kordecki of Austin, TX; her granddaughter, Mamie (Jason) Geist Ameling of Plymouth, IN; her 4 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Sandy Geist of Plymouth, IN; her 3 step grandchildren: Hal Browning of Plymouth, IN; Jason (Kristen) Kordecki of St. Helens, OR; Laura (Aldo) Kordecki Cabrerizo of Westlake, Fl; and 2 step great-grandchildren.

He was an avid book reader, a master gardener, he loved Disney, watching his girls play sports, was a die-hard boilermaker, and he enjoyed spending time restoring his grandfather’s 1956 Chevy. He was a sweet, soft-spoken man with a fun, dry sense of humor who loved his family and will be dearly missed.
Timothy is survived by his wife, Deb Griewank of Noblesville, IN; his daughters: Kelli (John) Grogg of Fishers, IN; Sarah (Patrick) Doyle of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren: Olive Isabella Grogg; Harper Sandra Grogg; Collin Patrick Doyle; and Cameron Timothy Doyle.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Joan Griewank and his brother, Paul Griewank.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Kristin Harp officiating.
Burial will take place in New Oak Hill Cemetery (Plymouth, IN).
Memorial contributions may be made to: Purdue Arboretum (625 Agriculture Mall Dr, West Lafayette, IN, 47907) and a tree will be planted on the Purdue University campus in Timothy’s honor.

Obituary Preview: James (Jim) F. Xaver, 76, of Plymouth, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
James was born to John and Hattie (Morrow) Xaver on May 16, 1947. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1965. On June 16, 1972, he married Sharon Klinedinst.
After high school, James served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Maddox. He then returned home and became a Plymouth Police Officer for eight years. For the past 47 years, James and his wife have owned and operated Xaver Cleaners.
James enjoyed time with his family and friends. He was always up for a marathon game of euchre and loved having cookouts by the pool. He had many hobbies throughout his life including training his beagles to hunt, participating in golf and bowling leagues, and tinkering around with his motorcycles and vintage cars. He also never missed any of his grandchildren's sporting events. For the past several years, he spent many of his weekends relaxing at his camper in Pierceton.
James is survived by his wife, Sharon Xaver of Plymouth, IN; his daughter, Jena Dreibelbis of Plymouth, IN; his grandchildren: Kendall and James Dreibelbis; his sister, Marilyn Leeney of Aurora, CO; and his brother, Michael (Lori) Xaver of Mt. Vernon, WA.
James was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters: Joan Johnston; Phyllis Nash; his brother, John Xaver; and his in-laws, Norman and Eileen Klinedinst.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563) with Military Honors at 4:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Father Keeton Lockwood officiating.
