Her love continues to resonate through her grandchildren, Shanata, Sharodd, Shalayah, Shaleah, Jaylen, Karma, Kairo, and Nazir, and great-grandchildren Zyon and Zyveon. Toni still lives in the heart of her siblings, Amber, Geno, Gary, Ira, Carolyn, and Clarence. On this day we as family and friends share in the mourning of her loss. Toni Darnell Hardwick, a woman of extraordinary strength and resilience, was born on January 22nd, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan. Departing this world peacefully and surrounded by family on January 2nd, 2024, Toni's life was a testament to love, laughter, and enduring connections.

She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday December 1st, 2023. Although this is a time to mourn, she would want us to treat this as a celebration of her life. Tina served this great country for 25 years; retiring as a Drill Sergeant/Instructor with the rank of E7 Sergeant First Class. She was the first African American female Drill Sergeant at 84th Division Rail splitters, 591st Military base in Milwaukee WI. A true trailblazer blazing the way for those who followed in her footsteps. She was also a military police officer, retired nurse, executive transportation secretary, master fitness/dance instructor, Youth/Young Leaders Academy co-developer & one of three most amazing mom's & sister, aunts, friends, grandmother, great grandmother, confidant & creative individuals anyone could ever imagine. One of Milwaukee's very recognized over achievers! She was a natural nurturer, humanitarian and lived to uplift anyone around her. She was sincere, and hilarious who placed a smile on everyone's faces every day. She touched the lives of so many with her pure-hearted care and affection. She will be missed! However, she would not want us to remain in mourning. So, to fulfill her final wishes, we ask that you all help us honor, salute & celebrate the remarkable & extraordinary life of MS. He also enjoyed canning, walking and study history.  Mr. Alfonzo Laws will be truly missed by many. Johnny was a lively person who loved to have fun,  He also had a special place in his heart for his niece, Erielle Davis (who loved her JJ).
Johnny will continue to be missed by many.
