Obituary Preview: Ronnie Dewitt Brown was born May 20th, 1980, in Richmond, Ca. Son of Rhonda Brown Edwards and Rodney Brown. Ronnie was a loving father, friend, brother, nephew, and husband. His smile can brighten up a whole room. He was an honest man who loved spending time with all his loved ones.
Ronnie worked hard and encouraged others to reach toward being the best you can be. He was the perfect example of a great man. Ronnie had a light inside of him that shined bright for all to see. No one can forget how much he made us laugh smile and push hard to be strong.
Ronnie was raised by his loving grandmother and grandfather Darlene Riley and Calvin Riley. They taught Ronnie to be kindhearted, hardworking, steadfast but also a gentleman. We couldn’t have asked for a better person for God to send to this earth to bring us all together.
He will be forever in our hearts and forever in our memories. And through his five boys that were left behind his legacy will live on through Keante, Roderick, Jacarri, Nazier, Amir Brown, & wife Branae Jarrett.
We all thank you Ronnie Brown for giving us joy.

Rudolph Ray (Rudy Ray) Hanes born February 11, 1949, passed away peacefully March 1, 2022. He was born in Yuba City, California.  His family has resided in the Sharps Lane Community since 1948. He retired from working in the construction industry.  After retirement he pursued his love in Entertainment and started R & H Productions which enabled San Joaquin County and surrounding areas the opportunity to enjoy quality entertainment. The annual festival became known as “Jazz On The Waterfront”, which featured well known jazz artists and other special guest performers and host. He is survived by his sister, Mary Armstrong of Sacramento, CA and brother Victor Merle of Stockton.
Viewing will be Wednesday March 9, 2022, 1:00pm till 4:00pm, and services will be Thursday, March 10, 2022, 11:00am at Cunningham Funeral Home 425 E. Harding Way.

Obituary Preview: Ray B. Lewis was born on January 11th, 1956, in Lawrence, MS. He was the second child born to the union of OT and Ora B Lewis. He accepted Christ in the early 90’s and was baptized at Mount Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Ivy.
He received his education at through Stockton Unified Schools where he attended Nightingale Elementary, ******, and graduated from Franklin High School in 0000. Ray was best known for his accomplishments in high school as a “Yell” Captain for the Cheer Team.
Ray began his career with K-Mart Retail Stores in the early 70’s and later in the early 80’s became a dedicated employee with the San Joaquin County Hospital in Janitorial Services.
Following retirement Ray dedicated his life to serving in ministry, where he served on the Usher Board at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. In addition, Ray in love cared for his mother, siblings, and a host of nieces and nephews. Ray was the most patient and caring person who enjoyed studying God’s word, listening to music, watching game shows, and supporting his family.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jethro and Gene Lewis.
He is survived by his son in love Brandon Trahan, daughters in love Avi Lewis & Vernice Dunlap; brother, Stanley; Sisters, Rachel Roe, Rhonda Lewis, Lavichia Jones (Gene), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
