She was adored by her extended Irizarry family, aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren, nieces, newphews, and friends.
Jenny was known for her impeccable sense of fashion, her infectious laughter, unwavering strength,  boundless kindness, and overwhelming generosity.  She left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jenny had a passion for warm weather, often found basking in the sunshine at the beach, surrounded by her family whom she cherished above all else.
Jenny's presence illuminated the lives of all those around her, and her memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of her family and friends.

Obituary Preview: Robert “Bob” Charles Houren, 95, passed away peacefully Monday, April 22, 2024.
He was born May 17, 1928 to the late Joseph Anthony and Genevieve Susan (Bohn) Houren in Chicago, Illinois. On July 29, 1950, he married his bride, Shirley Ressler, with whom he shared 73 wonderful years. Shirley pre-deceased Bob by 6 days.
Until his health no longer permitted, Bob was a long-time volunteer at Resurrection Hospital. His faith-based activities included working in a soup kitchen, training altar servers and acting as a Minister of Care to the sick. He and Shirley led a weekly Rosary group at Central Baptist Village where they lived for 5 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Virginia A. (Ginger) Frere (William); granddaughter Jaime L. Rohde (Joshua); great-grandsons Tyler J. Rohde and Nathan P. Rohde; brother-in-law, Richard Ressler (Patricia); many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Joseph and Genevieve.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 9:30am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 4646 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL.
Interment private.
