Her sense of humor was unmatched, and she was a fan of the Michigan State Spartans, much to the dismay of her husband.  Amy loved jamming out during road trips with her family. Her favorite place to visit was Kansas City with her daughters, where she felt the most free.
She was happiest when surrounded by her kids. She had a shining personality that brought out a lot of laughter. Amy worked hard to provide the best for her family, and she loved every minute of it. She was so proud of the work she completed and  would often go above and beyond for everyone.

While having five kids of her own, there was never a nephew or niece, her children’s' friends or acquaintances she met who didn’t end up calling her “Mom.”  This was a trait passed down to Diane from her own mother.
In her younger years, Diane enjoyed camping with her family, shopping for a great deal, and loved to cook.  She was always one to put the needs of her family and others before her own, Diane was extremely compassionate with her time and would give generously to those who were in need.

Surviving as well are her great nieces and nephews, Aubree, Kaiden, Noah, Olivia, Oliver, and Bailey.
One of our greatest joys has been being the parents of Mindi. She was special, a miracle, truly a gift from God. She taught us the meaning of unconditional love, perseverance and trust. She showed us how to survive the various challenges that life brings. She lived her life in a peaceful contentment. Her smile and her laugh were both contagious. She had an inner light that could brighten any room. Her best-known talents included stealing hearts, twirling pens and speaking volumes with her body language.  She loved music and all her pretty bracelets. Mindi’s life was filled with more miracles than obstacles. God shared her with us and against many odds we got to be a part of her life for 35 years.  We’ll miss her and we will all grieve.  But as our hearts heal, we chose to see her in her new body. She’s in heaven and she’s singing at the top of her lungs. As her voice fills the heavens, we can see her dancing and running. So, when the tears fall because we’re missing her, remember that she’s free.  Like a butterfly that has broken free of its cocoon, Mindi has broken free of her earthly body and she has spread her wings and taken flight.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola, with services to follow at 4pm.  Bishop Charles Wiseman of the Ireland Road Church of God will officiate her service.  For those unable to attend in person, a livestream of her service will be broadcast from her webpage on our website, beginning at 4pm (EST).

Don enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served honorably until his discharge in 1954.   On February 10, 1989, he married Rosalie (McDonald) Stump in Elkhart, Indiana.  They recently celebrated their 33rd anniversary.
Rosalie survives, along with Don’s sons Don (Jessika) Taber Jr. of Elkhart, Rick Taber and Scott (Angela) Taber, both of Osceola.  Surviving as well are his stepsons Dennis (Karen) Stump of Union, Michigan, and Tab (Sue) Stump of Elkhart, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren. His sisters, Helen Bland of Arkansas and Virgie Crumby of Utah and his stepdaughter in law Lisa Stump survive as well.  He was preceded in death by the mother of his sons, Phyllis Taber, his stepson Darell Stump, his siblings Lloyd, Mildred, Lucille, and Glenda and his granddaughter Tracy.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 11:30 am funeral service on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Cruz Family Funeral Home.  Pastor Paul Anderson of Calvary United Methodist Church will officiate services.  Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens where the American Legion Post 308 of Osceola and the US Marine Corps will render military honors.
Don founded Taber Pump and Well Service in 1963 and was employed by Adams and Westlake of Elkhart until serving his community’s needs full time beginning in 1982.  Don was the first person in his shop every day, and never missed a day of work until last week, after a fall left him unable to go into his shop.  His work ethic, kindness to his customers, knowledge of the business and tireless service to his community will never be forgotten.
In the spare time that Don had, he enjoyed attending church at Calvary UMC, going down the American Legion #308 in Osceola and dancing with his wife Rosalie at the Moose Lodge in Elkhart. They also enjoyed traveling during the winter months and had taken several vacations on cruise ships to many locations, including Hawaii.
In his memory, donations may be made to Calvary UMC.   To light a virtual candle in his memory, share a story of his life, or leave a message of comfort for his family, please follow the links provided on the tribute wall tab above.
