He graduated from Taft High School in Chicago. After high school he played as a catcher on the Carthage Cubs minor league baseball team. Harry then went on to serve our country as a Marine during the Korean War. Following his service to our country he was an entrepreneur in the furniture industry. Harry loved sports, playing handball at the YMCA, and summers in northern Michigan but he truly enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years Audria; loving father of Denise (Mike Langowski) Brown and Paulette (Chuck Brunner) Brown; cherished grandfather of Brooke (Greg) Alsip and Corinne (Dan) Hatfield; loving brother of Donald (Carol) Brown and brother-in-law of Linda Reiser; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.
