Obituary Preview: Sally (Kennedy) Minter, 86, wife of Thomas Minter, Jr. of Ramsey Gap Road, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at her residence in Goshen.
Mrs. Minter was born in Augusta County, Virginia on June 25, 1935, a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Dorothy K. Kennedy.
Sally was a member of the Goshen Lebanon Presbyterian Church. She retired from Western State Hospital with more than forty years of service in various clerical positions and she enjoyed summer vacations, going to flea markets, and yard sales.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are two sisters, Peggy Temple and Betty Zane Pence of Craigsville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Sally’s request there will no visitation.
A private graveside will be held at the Lebanon Church Cemetery officiated by Pastor Pam Campbell of Proclaim Ministries.
A special “Thank You” to the Amedisys Home Health Care for their professional medical care and advice, her caregivers, Donna Walton, Julie Minter, Jessica Walker, and members of the family for their support during Sally’s last days.

Mr. Gill was born in Radford, on August 18, 1951, a son of the late Dewey Gill and Virginia (Ayers) Gill.
Buford was a hardworking and giving man. He loved animals, especially his dogs.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gill is preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Johnson.
He is survived by eight siblings, Louise Johnson, Johnny Gill, Ruth Adkins, Sam Gill, Peggy Buchanan, Jeff Gill, Alesia Shuey, and Anthony Gill.
At request of Mr. Gill, there will be no services.

Obituary Preview: Geneva Vivian (Newlen) Hevener, 97, widow of Robert J. Hevener, of Staunton, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Hevener was born in Bluegrass, Virginia, on March 7, 1924, the daughter of the late Paul Dwight Newlen and Lula Belle (Grogg) Newlen.
Geneva was a firm believer in obtaining a good education and encouraged her children to pursue a college education. After years at Genesco, she began working in food service at Thomas Dixon Elementary and Shelburne Middle School. Mrs. Hevener loved helping children and was a hard worker, always going above and beyond her assigned duties. Geneva was the 2004-2005 “Support Employee of the Year” for the Staunton City School System, a well-deserved distinction. Mrs. Hevener took time to smell the roses and enjoyed the little things in life. She was an excellent cook and was especially known for her bread making skills. Geneva was passionate about politics and didn’t mind telling you who you should vote for and why. Her greatest joys in life were her two granddaughters and great- granddaughters.
Mrs. Hevener was one of 14 children and the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving, is a daughter, Cynthia Snipes (Jim) of Clemmons, North Carolina; a son, Robert Hevener of Staunton, Virginia; two granddaughters, Amanda Snipes Stanley (Scott) of Greensboro, North Carolina and Stephanie Snipes of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; two great- granddaughters, Claire Taylor Stanley and Evelyn James Stanley; and caretaker and close family friend who is considered part of the family, Pat Gayhart.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Oaklawn Memory Gardens in Staunton, Virginia, by Reverend William “Bill” Trice.

Mrs. Welcher was born on February 28, 1946 in Staunton, Virginia, daughter of the late Myrle Elizabeth (Ashby) Meeks.
In addition to her mother, Katherine was preceded in death by her brother, Edward H. Meeks.
Mrs. Welcher was retired from Genesco and enjoyed watching Reverend Charles Stanley on TV.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 45 years, are two sons, Walter Thomas “Tom” Rivenback, Jr. and his wife Becky and Dwayne E. Rivenback and girlfriend Melinda Helmick both of Staunton; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and her pet dog and furry friend “Moo Moo”.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Thornrose Cemetery by Reverend William Trice.

Reverend Long was born in Roanoke, Virginia, on October 31, 1934, a son of the late Robert Malcolm Long and Lillie Virginia (Moore) Long.
Reverend Donald Long was a veteran of the United States Army. He served on the United Methodist Conference for 51 years and pastored eleven different churches over the years.
In addition to his parents and wife, Reverend Long is preceded in death by a son, Jack W. Long and two brothers, Edward Luther Long and Robert Eugene Long.
Surviving, are seven sons, Tony L. Long of Elkton, Russell W. Long of Fishersville, Andrew B. Long of Staunton, Donald L. Long, Jr. of Front Royal, Richard L. Long of Wichester, Matthew W. Obituary Preview: James Clayton Foster, Jr., 92, husband of Kathryne “Nancy” Foster, of Douglas Lane in Waynesboro, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Birch Gardens in Staunton.
Mr. Foster was born in Campbell County, Virginia on April 9, 1929, the son of the late James Clayton Foster, Sr. and Mary Helen (Bass) Foster.
Mr. Foster was a member of Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1951-1953. He worked at Vepco/Dominion Power, beginning as a member on the line crew in 1950 and retired after 38 years of service as an Operations Manager. He was a member of the Fishersville Ruritan Club and he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting with his rabbit dogs, and gardening.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Foster was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Lipscomb.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 71 years, are two sons, James C. “Jim” Foster, III and his wife, Sherry, of Lyndhurst, and Daniel S. Foster, Sr. and his wife, Ann, of Hightown; two sisters, Nancy Walker and her husband, Herman, of Richmond, and Janet Neal and her husband, Harold, of Bedford; five grandchildren, Amanda Walker and her husband Beau, James C. “Jimmy” Foster, IV and his wife Claire, Amy Jurls and her husband Darby, Daniel S. Foster, Jr. and his wife Liz, and Mariam Foster; and ten great-grandchildren, Asher, Jonah, Silas, Julia, Rachel, Cora, Jake, Ian, Anne Carter, and Mary Foster.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church by Pastor Patrick Ryan.
Burial will follow in Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: Eva Kate (Houff) Botkin, 94, widow of Richard Lee Botkin of Shutterlee Mill Lane, Staunton, passed away, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.
Mrs. Botkin was born in Mt. Sidney, Virginia on November 5, 1927, a daughter of the late Charles R. and Ethel Kate (Sheets) Houff.
Eva was a faithful and life-time member of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, the Women’s Group and the Golden Age Class. She retired from Western State Hospital and following retirement she was a dealer at the Factory Antique Mall where she made many friends, memories, and was well supported by the community.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Botkin was preceded in death by her son, Charles “C. B.” Botkin; four brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Botkin was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving is a daughter, Peggy Sheets and her husband Tom of Staunton; a granddaughter, Heather Sheets; two great-grandchildren, Jack Curran and Mia Curran; a number of nieces and nephews; and special people, Lacy Houff, Jr., Renee Estes, Travis Gilmer, and Charles “Doodie” Wrenn.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A Memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church by Pastor Ed Pruitt.
Burial will be private in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 65 years, is her son, Jeffrey S. Shipe; two grandchildren, Brittany Lynne Shipe and Katelyn Wine Marinelli; and five great grandchildren, Avery, Brady, Florence, James and Evelyn.

Ms. Willmott was born on January 1, 1937 in Staunton, a daughter of the late Markus Philip and Edna Mary (Gilbert) Quick.
Ms. Willmott was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Shelvey retired from DuPont after twenty years of service as a Lab Technician and prior to DuPont was employed with ASR.
Survivors include a sister, Sandra K. Patterson and her husband Douglas L. of Staunton; her companion of forty-three years, Glenn W. Thompson of Waynesboro; two nephews, Eric P. Patterson and his wife Joei and Kirt D. Patterson and his wife Traci; two great nephews, Seth Patterson and Ian Patterson, and numerous cousins.
A Memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021 in Memorial Baptist Church by Pastor Mark B. Jones.
The family will receive friends following the service in the Great Hall.
Burial will be private in Augusta Memorial Park.

Josephine Buchanan Curtis - September 27, 1924 - November 15, 2021

Obituary Preview: Josephine (Jo) died November 15, 2021 at Brookdale Senior Living Solutions in Staunton, VA, near her daughter where she had lived for three years. She was born September 27, 1924, in Person County, NC, to Mattie Eva Young and Joe L. Buchanan.
She graduated at 16 from Oxford High School (NC) and left the family farm for Greensboro, NC, where she graduated from Kings Business School. Jo met her future husband, Henry Tim Curtis, a soldier from Kansas stationed near Greensboro, at a luncheon arranged by her landlady. In 1945, she became a war bride when they married. After the war they settled in Tim’s hometown, Kansas City, KS, where they shared 59 years of marriage.
Jo always enjoyed life and new adventures including traveling, especially to visit her North Carolina family. She and Tim wintered in Port Aransas TX after retirement. She enjoyed doing handwork, quilting, crocheting and also did china painting. She was an active member of Welborn Community Church in Kansas City, KS, serving as a deaconess, participating in the women’s Cereus Circle, and taking on various leadership roles. She joined the senior bowling league at Ranch West and continued to bowl until she was 90. She was a member of the Golden Age Senior Club at Victory Hills Baptist Church, a member of an on-going card club and a women’s Bible study.
She first worked in the credit department of VanStory Clothing Company in Greensboro, then after her children were in school she was employed at Montgomery Wards in Kansas City, New Holland Machine Company (KC), and retired from the General Electric Company (KC) in 1985.
She is survived by two children: Susan (Rev. Jeff) Allen and Leslie (Gerry) Curtis; five grandchildren: Eric (Rachel) Allen, Joel (Jill) Allen, Emily (David) Gresock, Jill (Kevin) Diggs, Ben (Tiffany) Curtis; 10 great-grandchildren: Jacqueline, Timothy, and Todd Allen, Paul and Kate Gresock, Lena, Jessa,and Vera Allen, Ruby Curtis, Hunter Diggs; one great-great grandson, Theodore Childress.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., at Verona United Methodist Church, officiated by the Revs. Bob Weeks and Jeff Allen. A graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Kansas City KS, officiated by Rev. Jeff Allen.

Dorothy Juanita "Dotty" (Tankesley) Tisdale - March 20, 1937 - November 15, 2021

Obituary Preview: Our Mom, the most loving person we know, Dorothy "Dotty" J. Tisdale, went home to be with Jesus and her long awaited heavenly home on November 15, 2021.
Mom was born March 20, 1937 in Middlebrook, Va. to the late Irvine Daniel and Pauline Marion (Britt) Tankesley.
She was predeceased by her husband , Maynard Tisdale, her loving brothers, Alfred "Dutch", Richard, Shelton "Sugar' and one step-sister, Frances.
Left to cherish her precious memories are a sister, Joan Balser, her children, Terry (Suzanne), Danny Hevener (Penny Rolon),Timmy Hevener, Vivian (Barry) Salwen and a very special niece Debbie Tankesley. Four step-children, Jerry (Teresa) Tisdale, Rena Thomas, Roger (Kathy) Tisdale, Jan (Kevin) Quinn, and "loved like her daughter", June Jennings.
Mom was employed by Western State hospital for 28 years until retirement.
To continue spreading the love, she had fun delivering flowers for Rask florist, driving the bus for Valley Aging services, volunteering at "Make Today Count" and involved in Hospice care.
Mom loved Jesus and she lead with love in all her actions. Her passion was always caring for and loving others. Mom gave the best hugs and wanted everyone to feel loved, she was a great listener and always ready to lend a hand. A humble and faithful servant of the Lord.
Mom's dearest friend, Daisy Vernon, departed for heaven last year. Her closest friends include Bonnie Wimer, Jacque Wilson and Judy Camden, Pastors August and Shirley Lupino.
Family visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday November 19, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home in Staunton.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton.
Pallbearers will be Jerry and Roger Tisdale, Jeff Vernon, D.W Carter, Tracy Carter and Jimmy Fitzgerald.

Teresa Kay Blum - July 20, 1959 - November 12, 2021

Obituary Preview: Teresa Kay Blum, 62, of Staunton, passed unexpectedly on Friday, November 12, 2021 at her home. Ms. Blum was born on July 20, 1959 in Staunton. She was a daughter of the late Charles James Blum, Jr., Nancy (Huntley Blum) Lotts and Stanley Lotts.
Teresa graduated from Robert E Lee High School in 1977. She received her associates degree in Business from BRCC and went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from James Madison University. Teresa continued her education receiving her Gifted endorsement from UVA, her Masters in Administration from James Madison University, her Ed Specialist degree from Walden University and was working on her dissertation for her Doctor of Education. She was employed by Highland County School for 40 years. She taught first, second and third grade before becoming principal in 2003.
Teresa’s caring spirit and generous heart could be felt by all who knew her. She had a special gift for not only seeing the good in people but bringing out the best in them. Teresa was selfless and put others first. She was fun loving, outgoing and vivacious. She was an example to so many and a shining light to all who knew her. Teresa knew every student by name who came through the elementary school and loved them all as her own.
Teresa was a loving aunt to her niece Allyson and husband Brent and her nephew Charlie.
Teresa is survived by her sister Wendi B True (Melissa Maynard), step brother Wayne Lotts, step sister Sherry Gaylor, and constant companion and fur baby, Rudy. She was blessed to have two extra special friends Patricia Chapman and Tamara Campbell.
Anyone who knew Teresa, knew that she was incredibly kind hearted. She had an immense passion for her work and was always a source of positivity. Teresa’s family and friends will miss her more than words can say.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in the Highland County Elementary School Gym at 3pm and Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 3pm at Coffman Funeral Home. Family is requesting that masks or face coverings be worn. Family will receive friends before the service on Saturday and after the service on Sunday. Teresa’s favorite color was yellow, so we encourage you to wear yellow or a bright color to the service.
Active Pallbearers will be Charlie True, Brent Saufley, Alan Puffenbarger, Gary Lane, Harold and Dustin Chapman, Randy Hamlet and Mike True.
Honorary Pallbearers will be current and past teachers of Highland Elementary School.

Edith was born on May 23, 1930 in Augusta County. She was the daughter of the late Christian L. Glenn and Blanch (Allen) Glenn.
Edith graduated from Wilson High School and was very involved in her class reunion for the last 70 years. She worked for 32 years at Smith’s Transfer and Wilson Trucking for 15 years.
Edith was a devoted Christian; she was a member of Calvary Baptist of Lyndhurst and active in the ladies Bible study.
Edith was preceded in death by husband, James Howdyshell; brother, Walter L. Glenn; sister, Mary F. (Glenn) Fitzgerald; and step-son, Tim Howdyshell.
She is survived by sons, Thomas E. (Margaret) Chrisman and David A. (Wanda) Chrisman Jr.; step-daughter, Susan Alley; Sue Stephenson and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church, Lyndhurst, by Pastor Bill Cole. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
“Huckle Bearers” will be family members.

Obituary Preview: Loretta Jane Butler, 85, widow of Nathan Waldo Butler, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, November 11, 2021, surrounded by her family, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Butler was born on September 15, 1936 in Garten, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Harmon and Geneva Peters.
Loretta grew up in Rupert, Rainelle and Richwood, West Virginia. She graduated from Richwood High School as an honor student. While in high school, at the age of 13, she met Nathan Butler, 16. At the time she did not know it, but he would be the man she would spend the rest of her life with. Three years later, at the age of 16, while in high school and with her parents’ permission, Loretta married Nathan on Christmas Eve 1952. They would begin their journey together on the other side of the United States in Anchorage, Alaska, where Nathan had been stationed after enlisting into the Air Force. Loretta and Nathan spent the next 68 years building a life and raising a family together, until his passing in November of 2020. Loretta was a very detail oriented store manager. She retired from A&P/ Superfresh Grocery Store as a manager in 1994. Loretta lived out the rest of her days with her husband in a house they built together in Greenville, Virginia. Loretta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who always put her family first. She will be forever loved and greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by the love of her life, Nathan Butler; a brother, Jimmy Peters; a sister, Barbara Anne Hill and a great granddaughter Órla Beatrice Fox.
Loretta is survived by her three children; Dave Butler of Greenville, Bill Butler and his wife Linda of Greenville, and Debbie Gordon of Waynesboro; twelve grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; two great- great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, Staunton.
A private Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in the Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be her grandsons Chuck Butler, Jamie Butler, Kenny Butler, Chris Butler, Ryan Landes, Gabe Butler, and Eli Butler.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the Augusta Health Respiratory Care Unit staff for their hard work and support during this difficult time.

Vincent was born on February 27, 1933 in Churchville, Virginia, a son of the late Lester Earl Moneymaker and Iva Brown Moneymaker.
He graduated from Churchville High School with the class of 1951. Vincent was a member of the Waynesboro Church of Christ where he served as a deacon. Vincent was a veteran of the United States Navy. He ran the Greyhound and Trailway bus station as a commission agent and retired after 32 years of service. Vincent enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing and was a shark on the pool table. His greatest enjoyment was riding his motorcycle.
Vincent was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Lester Boyd Moneymaker and three sisters Phyllis Lyle, Charlene Moneymaker, and Nancy Sellers.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 65 years, are three sons, William Scott Moneymaker, Bryce Dwayne Moneymaker (Lydia), and Robert Tracy Moneymaker (Nicole “Nikki”); four grandchildren, Derrick Morgan Moneymaker, Darrell Scott Moneymaker, Jason Levi Moneymaker (Heather Phares), and Jesse Lee Lane; a great-grandchild, Damien Alexander Moneymaker; and special niece, Virginia “Ginny” McNealy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Waynesboro Church of Christ by Pastor Allen Close.
Family will receive friends following the service.

Bobby was self-employed as a farmer and carpenter. He enjoyed farming and working with draft horses and took pride in his farm. He was a “Jack of all trades and master of many.” Bobby was an amazing husband, father, neighbor, and friend.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bottenfield was preceded in death by two sisters, Zelma Naomi Lucas and Elda Edna Rankin.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of fifty-eight years, is a daughter, Karen J. Hildebrand and her husband Derek; two grandchildren, Trey H. Lawson and Kayla J. Yeago; a great-granddaughter, Aubree G. Liddle; a brother, Eddie Bottenfield and his wife Jackie; a sister, Judy Bryant and her husband Wayne; a nephew, Steven W. Bottenfield and his wife Danielle; and four nieces, Kimberly Berry, Rhonda Donald, Kellie L. Bottenfield and Megan R. Wolfe.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 140 Sugar Loaf Road, Staunton.
A Celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Boger.
Burial will follow the service at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown was employed as a teacher and retired from the City of Staunton school system. Mary Rose was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, where she was active in many women’s groups. She loved teaching children and was involved with the Bible School programs. She enjoyed reading, cooking and socializing with her neighbors.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 59 years, is a son, Donald “Keith” Brown and his wife Christina (Zechman) Brown of Alexandria; a daughter, Amy (Brown) Thornton and her husband John Timothy “J.T.”, Jr. of Weyers Cave; a granddaughter, Chloe Dianne Thornton; a brother, Robert Edgar “Ed” Walker, Jr. of Goshen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Al was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was retired as a Union Rep at DuPont where he was employed for 34 years. Mr. Berry was a veteran of the United States Navy and volunteered with the Augusta County Fire Department for over ten years.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Berry is preceded in death by a son, Steven Franklin “Steve” Berry; a daughter, Cathi Rae (Berry) Lovegrove; and his brother, Fred Lee Berry, Sr.
Surviving are his grandchildren, Jacob Lovegrove of Radford, Jodi Simpson and husband Jon of Beaufort, South Carolina; and great-grandchildren, Autumn Simpson and Chloe Simpson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church by Pastor Robert D. McCarty.
Active pallbearers will be Jacob Lovegrove, Jon Simpson, Chucky Bryant, Mike Jones, Richard Jones, and Ronnie Jones.

Obituary Preview: Jean F. Radocha was welcomed by the angels into her Heavenly Home on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the age of 93. Prior to her passing, Jean resided at the Bridgewater Home in Bridgewater, VA.
Jean was born in Whitehouse, NJ, on September 17, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Felix and Magdalena (Burek) Felkowski.
After growing up on a farm in Whitehouse, Jean moved to Bridgewater, NJ and met her husband Joseph while working in the Diehl-Singer factory. Jean later worked at Burger Tubing and Somerset Medical Center for 20 years before retiring in September 1990.
During her time in New Jersey, Jean was a parishioner at St. Mary’s Church in Bound Brook where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, serving as President in 1983-1984, and also the first female trustee. Jean was a founding member of the Finderne Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary and served as a Secretary and Vice President.
After retiring, Jean and her husband Joseph moved to El-Do Lake in Jonas, PA, where they lived from September 1990 to October 2001. In 2001, Jean and Joseph moved to Weyers Cave, VA, and became parishioners at Bethany United Methodist Church, where they were active in Bible study and volunteering, and developed many treasured friendships.
Jean and Joseph were married for 53 years until Joseph’s death in October 2009. A few years after her husband’s death, Jean moved to the Bridgewater Retirement Community and in her final years, received compassionate care from the Gardner Wing and Joy House staff.
Jean was a woman of strong faith and will be remembered for her many kind words and deeds, demonstrated through a lifetime of helping others. She was proud of her Polish heritage and enjoyed polkas as much as country and inspirational music. Jean was a gifted artisan and created many quilted pieces, each handstitched with love. She was a hard worker and a fun-loving classy lady who made friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Jean was predeceased by her husband Joseph and her grandson Shawn Radocha. Jean is survived by her daughter Juliana and son-in-law Russell Graham of Garwood, NJ; daughter Donna and son-in-law Leonard Wojciechowski of Bound Brook, NJ; son Michael and daughter-in-law Lynn Radocha of Weyers Cave, VA and her beloved grandchildren Andrew Wojciechowski pf Bedminster, NJ and Breanna Radocha of Weyers Cave, VA. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date, followed by a private burial at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.

Prior to moving to Virginia, where Linda lived with her daughter, Deanna Warner, she resided in Berkeley, California. Mrs. Fulks retired from Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California, as a food service manager. Linda was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed by family, friends and previous co-workers.
Linda is survived by her daughters; Theresa Ann Fulks, Kristine Mary Bolinsky and DeAnna Louise Warner.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fulks is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Baca, daughter, Jennifer Lynn Moats and son, Kenneth Christopher Fulks.
Mrs. Fulks will be laid to rest at a later date with her husband Paul, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, California.

Mr. Faistenhammer was born in Fort Benning, Georgia on June 3, 1952 to Colonel (Retired) Ludwig Faistenhammer of York, Pennsylvania and the late Maria Damenica (Barbaro) Faistenhammer.
William graduated from Munich American High School, in Germany, in 1970 and Virginia Military Institute, in Lexington, Virginia, in 1974. In 1986, he received a Master’s Degree from Lesley University, in Massachusetts. After graduating from VMI, he had 30 years, active service, in the Army; serving in Desert Storm and Somalia, and achieving the rank of Colonel having spent the majority of his career in Special Forces. His final military assignment brought him back to VMI, as the Professor of Military Science and Commander of ROTC detachment. Upon retirement, he deployed to Afghanistan for four additional years of service.
His passions included VMI football and basketball. He was an avid traveler and skier and lived life to the fullest.
In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Faistenhammer is survived by his son, William A. Faistenhammer; his step-daughter, Mattie Gilday; grandchildren, Cora Faistenhammer and Kaleigh Gilday; sisters, Joie Shue (Jim) and Mari Akers (Stan); and numerous nieces and nephews.
