We gather here today to celebrate and honor the life of a wonderful person, our dear friend and colleague, Liz Taylor, who has left us too soon. One of the most admirable traits of Liz was her compassion and genuine warmth towards elderly patients. She had a special place in her heart for the elderly and understood their emotional, psychological and physical needs. She always went that extra mile to make them comfortable – whether it was providing a cup of coffee, offering a warm blanket or simply dedicating her time.
Liz’s love for the elderly was not just limited to fulfilling their basic needs. She believed in brightening up their spirits as well.
