He was born in Puerto Rico, raised and lived in the Bronx until moving to Freehold in 1994. Wilfred provided three years of dedicated service in the United States Marine Corps. He served in Vietnam and earned three medals, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Medal. Wilfred worked for Verizon Wireless for 13 years as a computer analyst. In his spare time, he loved computers, achieved a black belt in Karate and his license as a dealer in the game of Craps.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rosa Reyes of Freehold, son, Wilfredo Reyes and his wife, Stephanie of Texas; daughters, Briana Reyes and her Fiancé, Robert Ferriole of Freehold, and Vanessa Reyes of Florida; four grandchildren, Ariana, Jaden, Alyssa, Gunner, Jonathan, and Lorenzo; brother, Herman Reyes of Florida; a sister Marilyn Reyes of the Bronx; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Brigadier General William C. Born in North Bergen, he was raised and had lived in Jersey City before moving to Howell in 1966. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. John was a graduate of Rutgers University. He retired as a cost accountant for Restaurant Associates, NYC in 2010. John started his accounting career for the State of New Jersey and had also worked for McGraw Hill, Hightstown and Barclay Industries, Lodi. He was a parishioner of the Church of St. Veronica in Howell, where he served as an usher and reader. John was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Catholic Men for Jesus Christ. He was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Rev. Cetkowski Council 6201, Jackson, and had served as a grand knight, chapter chairman, and district deputy. John was a loving husband, father, and Pop-Pop and took great pride in pointing out his loved one’s accomplishments.
John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances McGuire of Howell; children, Susan Santoriello and her husband, Anthony of Freehold Borough, Donna Dabreau and her husband, Leonard of Farmingdale, and John McGuire of Howell; grandchildren, Francis John Santoriello of Aurora, CO, Anthony Santoriello of Washington, D.C., Nicole Marie Dabreau and her husband, Federico Massei of Livorno, Italy, Christine Michelle Dabreau of New York City, Bryan Leonard Dabreau of Farmingdale, Amanda Jean Dabreau of Farmingdale, Amy Lynn Dabreau of Farmingdale; and a great grandson, Liam; sisters, Carol LaFrada of Montague, and Kathleen Steffen of Savannah, GA; numerous nieces and nephews; and his “big brother,” Kenneth McGuire and his wife, Ann of Upstate New York.

She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Fontana; loving mother of Anthony Fontana (deceased), Michelle Sullivan, Frank and Brian Fontana; dear grandmother of Daniel Sullivan and Jessica Heron, and Michael and Melissa Fontana, and dear mother-in-law of Kenneth Sullivan and Lynn Fontana. She is also survived by her dear sister, Gloria Soldo, and dear brother, Seymour Havelin.
Born in Brooklyn, Blanche was a longtime South Beach, Staten Island, resident of 55 years, and recently relocated to Lincroft, N.J.
She was a devoted mother and homemaker and dedicated her life to her children. She loved cooking for her family. She loved to dance, draw, read, and to be with her friends.
Blanche was a member of the South Beach Senior Center and Friendship Club. She was married for 62 years prior to Antonio's passing in 2009. Blanche was loved by everyone who knew her.
Arrangements include a private cremation and a memorial service at a future date.
