LaRene A. Wright Loy - June 16, 1936 - March 14, 2024

Departed: 03/14/2024 (Fresno)
Obituary Preview: LaRene A Wright Loy, aged 87, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 while living in Clovis, California. After a courageous struggle, her body finally gave in to multiple organ failure. She was a sweetheart to her husband and nurturer to her four children. She felt tremendous love and affection for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her spunk and energy will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
LaRene was born June 16, 1936 in her home in Provo, Utah to Lorin A. Wright and Orlinda A. Winterton Wright and was the youngest of nine children. She graduated from Provo High School in 1954. She loved people, dancing, music, sports, riding horses and ice skating with her daddy. She attended Brigham Young University for a short time and then married Henry Leland Loy, on September 12, 1955, in the Salt Lake Temple where they were married for time and all eternity. They spent 50 years of their marriage in San Jose, California. As LaRene recently told someone, “I had four children. They were my education and I sure do love ‘em.” She took the calling of wife and mother very seriously and devoted her life to them.
LaRene has an abiding love for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. She was looking forward to joining them in their Heavenly Home. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her pioneer ancestors helped build the Heber Valley and Provo, Utah area. She participated in Daughters of Utah Pioneers for decades. She loved flowers and had beautiful flower beds. She had a very strong work ethic and throughout her life loved to keep a lovely, orderly home. She was known as the Energizer Bunny to her family.
She lived a life full of service to her neighbors, local and church communities. She had many callings of service in her nearly 90 years in the church. Among those was a Junior Sunday School superintendent, stake YW leader and camp prankster, and Relief Society president. She was a loving and effective teacher. In her later years she made quilts for babies born in her ward and crocheted beanies for newborns at nearby hospitals. She served with her husband, Leland, as a full-time missionary in the San Jose, California LDS mission. She motivated many missionaries to keep a clean apartment with her homemade pies. Over her lifetime she prepared delicious meals not only for her family but many others, including large church gatherings. She recently served as the ward librarian where she was affectionately known as the candy lady to the children returning borrowed items after Sunday meetings. LaRene is survived by her husband and children Christene Sanders (Tony), Kaye Lynn Robinson (Allen), Henry (Hank) Leland Loy, Jr (Denise) and Cynthia Martinez (Robert). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren; as well as one brother, Von Wright (Marge) of Orem, Utah. She will be dearly missed!
The family is grateful to the tender care given at San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Center, Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital and especially to Doctors Chandrasekar Palaniswamy and Aren Panoyan. Visitation on Friday, March 22 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 342 N. Nees, Clovis, CA Interment will be on Saturday, March 23 at 9:30 a.m. at Clovis Cemetery, 405 N. Villa Ave., Clovis, CA
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 11 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located at 342 N. Nees, Clovis, California.

Cesar Quezada - December 02, 1980 - March 02, 2024

Departed: 03/02/2024 (Fresno)
Obituary Preview: Cesar Quezada, born on December 2, 1980, was a beloved soul cherished by many. At the age of 43, he left a profound impact on everyone he encountered. Born to Enedina and Manuel Quezada, Cesar was the youngest among six siblings, including two sisters and four brothers.
His presence illuminated every room with a contagious smile that could brighten even the darkest of days. Known for his humorous personality, endearing silliness, and a heart of pure gold, Cesar was adored by all who knew him. Cesar was loved deeply by his two daughters, Yolisia and Yuliana Quezada, his son, and his devoted wife, as well as his nieces, nephews, and closest friends. To know Cesar was to love him unconditionally.
From a young age, Cesar found joy in selling Mexican pastries, a tradition he shared with his father, brothers, and uncles. This passion continued into adulthood, as he found solace in the familiar hustle of the bakery.
Beyond his entrepreneurial spirit, Cesar was a talented artist, finding solace in drawing and graphic design. In his spare time, he poured his emotions into poetry, expressing his innermost thoughts with eloquence and grace.
Music was Cesar's constant companion, offering solace and comfort in every moment. Whether cruising in his car with the volume turned up high or winding down for the night with soft melodies, music was his therapy. From country tunes to Spanish rhythms, he embraced every note with unwavering passion.
In addition to his artistic pursuits, Cesar enjoyed the thrill of the casino and cherished the companionship of his beloved Husky, Hatchi. His love knew no bounds, extending to all creatures great and small.
As a son, brother, uncle, best friend, and devoted husband, Cesar's love knew no bounds. Though he may have left this world, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. We pledge to honor his legacy by keeping his cherished memories alive in our hearts.
Thank you for joining us as we celebrate the life of our dear Cesar. Though he may be gone, he will never be forgotten.
Long live the memory of our beloved Cesar.
