Barb is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
She attended Columbia Hospital School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years at West Penn Hospital and Doctor’s Hospital.
Barb shared a love of traveling with her family, enjoyed history, museums, and art galleries.  Trips to the casino to enjoy poker were not unheard of.
Barb loved to garden, take walks, bowl, read police mysteries, listen to music and enjoy concerts. Avid sports fan and loved her Pittsburgh Teams: Steelers, Pirates, Penguins and Pitt! Volunteer at the Pittsburgh Zoo
Barb laughed easily and her laugh was contagious. She was witty and funny. She always had a twinkle in her eye and could be a bit mischievous.  She cared deeply about people and animals, caring and compassionate to all.  She was a happy woman with a happy life.
Barb was most proud of her daughter and family, and she will be dearly missed.

Most recently, David “Benny” always looked forward to planning a yearly Steelers Party with his close friends and family at the facility he resided in. David's focus was always on others rather than himself. His kind, caring, and compassionate personality was always very evident when you were in his prescence. Born August 9, 1938, she was married 42 years to Theodore J (Ted) Slippy, until his passing in 2003.  She is survived by sons Gordon (Ruth Ann) of Murrysville PA, and Glenn, of Wadsworth OH, and beloved grandchildren Lisa (Cem), Matthew (Rebecca), Nathan (Charissa), Noah (Katharyne), and Ian, and many friends.
As a widow, she continued her lifelong work of serving others in the church through Bible study and leadership of the GriefShare program, which provides support and resources for people coping with the loss of someone close.
Martha was a loving and generous daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.  Her wise counsel and quick wit will be missed, along with her steadfast faith in God’s kindness.
A celebration of life worship service will be held Saturday February 5, 2022 in the Sanctuary of Hebron Church (10460 Frankstown Road, Pittsburgh, PA) at 11:00 am.  Visitation at the church will start at 10:15 am.
Donations may be made to Redstone Highlands Hospice or Hebron Church.

Morrow (Jane) and Lois Anne Chirieleison (Michael), uncle and great uncle to many nieces, nephews, and he was a caring cousin.  He was preceded in death by his father J. Homer Morrow and mother Lois (Sampson) Morrow.  Jim was a dedicated teacher and a devoted friend.  He grew up in the Penn Hills neighborhood of Pittsburgh and attended college at Michigan State University, where he met his wife Pat, and earned a degree in Botany. He received his doctoral degree (PhD) in Biological Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh in 1990.  He was a professor in the department of Biology at the Community College of Allegheny County from 1990-1995, and a professor in the Department of Biology at Butler County Community College from 1995 until his retirement in 2017, where he taught Botany, Environmental Sciences and General Biology.  He enjoyed reading, gardening and conversing with friends and family. There will be a private burial service for family. The public memorial service will take place at a later date.
