Obituary Preview: Carmen Pagan Cotto 78 of Pawtucket passed away on April 16, 2022 at Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice Center in Providence.  She was the wife of the late Pasilino Figueroa.  Ms. Pagan was born on February 21, 1944 in Cidra, Puerto Rico and was the daughter of the late Daniel Pagan and Ana Cotto.  Carmen was a dedicated mother and homemaker.  She was a resident of Pawtucket for the last 5 years.
Carmen was the loving mother of Carmen Figueroa of Pawtucket, Sonia Rosa of W. Greenwich, Ana Figueroa of Springfield, MA, Pablo Figueroa of Puerto Rico and Angel Luis Figueroa of Puerto Rico.  Ms. Pagan was a proud grandmother of 9 and a great grandmother of 13.  Carmen is also survived by her 10 siblings; all who resident in her native Puerto Rico. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday April 21st from 9-11am in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.  A funeral service will be celebrated at 11am in the home.  Interment will follow in Woodlawn-North Purchase Cemetery in Attleboro, MA

Gladys Venero - December 07, 1966 - April 12, 2022

Obituary Preview: Gladys Venero of Pawtucket formerly of Miami, Fl passed away on April 12, 2022 at The Miriam Hospital in Providence following a courageous battle with kidney disease.  Ms. Venero was 55 years old.  She was born on December 7, 1966 in Miami to her parents; Jose and Nora Venero.
Gladys battle illnesses for most of her adult life however, this didn’t stop her from raising and providing for her twin daughters; Felina Venero and Celina Venero of Pawtucket.  She sacrificed everything for her family.  Gladys will be remembered as tough but, fair and especially as a loving and giving woman.  She was truly her daughters’ best friend.
Some of Ms. Veneros joys were Stat Trek, 80’s Pop music and horror movies.  Gladys had no greater passion than family though.  This was proven by her love and commitment to her daughters and to her beautiful granddaughter; Julianna of Pawtucket.
A private cremation service was held in the chapel of the Woodlawn-North Purchase Crematory in Attleboro, MA.  There were no visiting hours held.  Arrangements under the care of The Coelho Home of Central Falls.

Obituary Preview: Emilio Bernabe Gonzales of Providence passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on April 11, 2022, after being stricken at home.  Mr. Gonzales was 80 years old.  He was born on August 3, 1941 in Callao, Peru and was the son of the late Adrian Emilio Gonzales Flores and Rosa Esther Gonzalez.
Mr. Gonzales worked for the Providence School Dept. as a Teacher’s Assistant for 15 years.  He was also a very active parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church on Smith St. in Providence.
Emilio is survived by his brother, Adrian Nelson Gonzales, nieces and nephews and many friends.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday April 15th in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls. from 5 until 8 PM. A Funeral  will be  held on Saturday April 16th at 10.00AM.  Interment with a Committal Service  will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Blvd.  Providence.

She was born on March 8, 1965 in Providence and was the daughter of the late John and Joyce Ann Kelly.
In her former years Kim worked as a Deli Clerk at the former Ro-Jack's in Seekonk, MA.  In addition to her son, Kim is survived by her siblings; Corinne Robichaud of Rehoboth, MA, Wendy Ann Brisson of Swansea, MA, Michelle Sousa of Rehoboth, MA, Mitch Kelly of Rehoboth, MA and Scott Kelly of Charles City, Viriginia.
Private Cremation will take place at Western Hills Crematory in Cranson.  Arrangements are under the care of The Coelho Home of Central Falls.

Obituary Preview: Brian Michael Allcock of Central Falls passed away suddenly on April 9, 2022 at The Miriam Hospital in Providence.  Mr. Allcock was 72 years old.  He was born in Pawtucket on July 3, 1949 to his parents the late Thomas E. Allcock, Sr. and Lorraine Goulet.
Brian worked in the automotive repair industry where he mastered the trade of auto-body repair.  He enjoyed cars of all models and had a passion for Harley Davidsons.  Mr. Allcock loved the beach, especially when visiting Cape Cod, MA.  A great night out for Mr. Allcock consisted of Chinese Food and Scorpion Bowls.  He was quiet and serious but, he made many friends through the years and left an impact on each of them.  One of those friends was his best friend Gene Aguiar who along with his family will be forever grateful for having known Brian.
Brian is survived by his long-time companion Carol Trombley of Central Falls.  He also leaves behind his nephews; Thomas E. Allcock III of Manhattan, NY and Tracey Allcock of Mendon, MA.  Mr. Allcock had a special bond with Carol’s grandson Caiden Cruz, whom he treated as his own.  He is also survived by Carol’s children; Emmy Pickett, Julia Pickett, Keegan Sellers and Joshua Sellers.  Along with his parents, Brian was predeceased by his brother, the late Thomas E. Allcock, Jr.
A memorial service will held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.

Obituary Preview: William Narvaez 33 of Central Falls passed away unexpectedly on March 30th at The Miriam Hospital in Providence.  He was the adoring father of Daniel and Sabastian Narvaez of Central Falls.  Born March 26, 1989 in Colombia, William was the beloved son of Dora Ines Narvaez of Central Falls.
Upon completing high school, Mr. Narvaez went on to become a talented automobile detail technician  He enjoyed sports especially basketball and soccer.  William was one of the biggest supporters of the Colombian National Soccer Team.  Family was William's everything.  He was a devoted son and brother however, his two sons were his ultimate passion.
In addition to his sons and mother William also leaves behind his sisters Ximena Narvaez and Johana Narvaez of Central Falls.  He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and many dear cousins..
Visitation will be held on Monday April 4th from 8:30-10:30am in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am at Holy Spirit-St. Matthew’s Church 1030 Dexter St. Central Falls.  Cremation will follow.

Obituary Preview: Bruce Michael Williams, Sr. of Providence passed away peacefully on the morning of March 26th at Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice in Providence.  Mr. Williams was 62 years old.  He was born on July 15, 1959 in Central Falls to his parents the late Henry Williams, Sr. and Majorie (Glancy) Wiliams.  Bruce worked many jobs throughout his life.  Some of his greatest enjoyments involved playing sports like basketball and softball.  He also sported the local sport teams avidly.
Bruce is survived by his son Bruce M. Williams, Jr. of Pawtucket.  He was the beloved brother of Blanche Williams of Attleboro, MA, Bernadette Riquinha of Pawtucket, Henry "Hank" Williams, Jr. of Providence and Hugh "Skip" Williams of North Providence.  Mr. Williams is also survived by his nieces and nephews Nicole Williams, Ashley Williams, Talia Williams, Noah Williams, Eric Williams, Jamie Williams and Joel Riquinha.  Bruce was the great uncle of Michael Varela.
In accordance with Bruce's wishes all services will be held privately.  Arrangements are under the care of The Coelho Home of Central Falls.

Rodriguez and was raised by Joaquin Torres Sr.  She had lived in the United States since 1996.
Vickiana was the mother of Kevin Rodriguez, Shaylin Rodriguez, Jaylin Coutto and Michelle Carrilo.  She was the beloved sister of Joaquin Torres Jr, Jose Joaquin Torres and Carmen Rosa Torres.

Gonsalves, 58 of Pawtucket formerly of Providence, passed away on March 21, 2022 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence following a lengthy illness.  She was born on September 23, 1963 in Boston, MA to Amancio Gonsalves of Florida and the late Candida (Santos) Gonsalves.
Elizabeth worked for many years as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and an Activities Coordinator at The Little Sisters of the Poor Jeanne Jugan Residence in Pawtucket, a job that she loved very much.
She is survived by her children; Melain Gonsalves of Newport, Kina Gonsalves of Pawtucket, Terris Gonsalves of Cranston, Lisa Gonsalves of Providence, Coran Gonsalves of Pawtucket and Jaymin Wallace of Providence.  Elizabeth leaves behind her brothers;  Joseph Gonsalves and his wife Denine of Pawtucket and Napoleon Gonsalves and his wife Laura Lopes of North Attleboro, MA.  Ms. Gonsalves was a proud grandmother of 7.  Elizabeth was predeceased by her companion the late Eugene Wallace.
Ms. Gonsalves’ life will be celebrated on Thursday March 31st from 9-11am in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.  Interment will follow in North Burial Ground in Providence.

Obituary Preview: Kathleen (Lombardo) Pacheco of Pawtucket, RI passed away peacefully under the care of Berkshire Place in Providence, RI.  Born on July 26, 1945 in Providence, RI, Kathy was the daughter of the late Albert Vincent and Lucy (Nappi) Lombardo.  She was together with her husband Nuno A. Pacheco for 43 years which included 26 year of marriage.  Kathy was the loving mother of Robert Lombardo and his wife Colleen, Dino Lombardo, Renee Hoban, Marco hoban and his wife Jennifer, Aaron Hoban and his wife Erin and the late Brett Hoban.  Mrs. Pacheco was the beloved sister of Jo-Ann Levasseur and the late Nancy Kitchen.  Kathy is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews..
Kathy was a graduate of Warren High School in 1963.   She would go back to school in 1990, graduating from CCRI with an Associates Degree in Business.  While attending CCRI she worked in the nursing office.  Mrs. Pacheco worked at Dayspring Christian Academy as a teacher's assistant and in the aftercare program for many years.  She also worked at International Packaging for a number of years.  Kathy attended South Attleboro Assembly of God for many years.  In 2011 she began attending what is now the His Providence Church (HPC) and was faithful in her attendance until moving into Berkshire Place.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Thursday March 31, 2022 at 11am at the His Providence Church (HPC) 262 Swansea Mall Drive Swansea, MA 02777.  Private burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery in Bristol, RI on a later date.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of The Coelho Home of Central Falls, RI. Pires 95 of Pawtucket passed away peacefully under the care of Lynn Health Center in East Providence.  She was the wife of the late Manuel Pires.  Born on August 16, 1926 in Brava, Cape Verde, Maria was the daughter of the late Manuel and Eugenia Jose Andrade. Following her move to Pawtucket, she worked for the Monet Jewelry Co. as an assembler for 25 years.  She will be forever remembered for having a great sense of humor, being so generous and for her love of coffee.  Maria also enjoyed sewing.
Family was the most important thing to Mrs. Pires.  She was the loving mother of Joaquim Pires of Pawtucket and the late Viola Pires.  Maria was the sister of Maria Manuel Andrade and Edith Rodrigues of California and she is reunited with the sister the late Maria Rosa Andrade and her brother the late Jose P. Andrade.  Maria was the loving grandmother of Joaquim Pires, Jr. of East Providence and the great grandmother of Georgia Andrews of Warren and Jayceon Monterio of Lincoln.  She was the   beloved auntie of Maria DePina and Maria King.  Mrs. Pires love extended greatly to Stacey Monterio of Lincoln and to her dear friends Renee Rose and Virginia Diaz.
Calling Hours will be held on the morning of March 21st from 9-11am in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.  A funeral service will be celebrated at 11am in the home followed by burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave. in Pawtucket.

Ms. Garcia Reyes is survived by her loving  children, Edgar Mujo, Rolando Mujo, Gervin Mujo, Norma Mujo all of Central Falls and Delvin Mujo and Karla Mujo of Attleboro, MA.  Ana was the loving sister of Ada Garcia Reyes and Alberto Garcia Reyes of Central Falls, Jose Migel Garcia  Reyes of Chelsea, MA, Julio Garcia Reyes of Guatemala and the late Cesar Armando Garcia Reyes.  She was also a beloved grandmother and great grandmother.
Visitation will be held for Ana on Monday March 21st from 5-8pm in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.  Interment will take place in the Municipal Cementerio de San Jose El Idolo, Suchitepequez, Guatemala.

Obituary Preview: Jose “Papo” Luis Gonzalez Cruz 63 of Pawtucket passed away on March 10, 2022 at Orchard Viewing Nursing Home in East Providence.  Mr. Gonzalez Cruz was born on October 20, 1958 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and was the son of Santo Mojica and Julia E. Mojica.
Upon graduating high school Jose entered the work force as an auto mechanic.  He worked for the Yellow Cab Company for many years prior to his illness.
In addition to his mother Julia, Jose is survived by his sister Caroline Mojica and his brother Javier Ivan Gonzalez and Santo Mojica III.  He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Julie Aponte.
Visitation will be held on Monday March 14th from 10:30-12:30 in The Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.  A prayer service will take place following the visitation.  Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket.

He was born in Attleboro, a son of the late Marcel and Doris (Cote) Salvail. Mark had lived in the Darlington Section of Pawtucket for most of his life and had been employed at the former Benny's in Seekonk, MA for many years.
He is survived by his brother Steve Salvail and his wife of Sebastian, Florida, an Aunt Ruth Lamontagne of Pawtucket.  He had been a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, formally St. Mary's Church, Coyle Drive Seekonk, prior to his illness.
VISITATION will be held TUESDAY March 15th from 6 until 8 PM in The Coelho Home, Cross St. Central Falls. A Funeral Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM  also in The Coelho Home, Central Falls and burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave. Pawtucket. He had been a construction worker all his life until illness forced his retirement. Besides his wife, he leaves a son Richard Flor of East Providence and his daughter, Monica, with whom he made his home.  He also leaves two brothers, Gilbert and Jose Manuel Ferreira both of Canada and two sisters, Alda Flor of Providence and Maria Lourdes Ferreira of Portugal and his precious Granddaughter, Kolby.

Donna most recently worked in retail at Burlington Coat Factory.  However, her greatest work was put into her children and grandchildren.  She was the loving mother of Manuel Cooley of Cranston, Brandon Elray Cooley and Kyle Leron Cooley of Woonsocket.  She was the beloved sister of David Cooley of Cranston, Christine Cooley of Massachusetts, Warren Cooley of Texas, the late Chante Cooley, Cheyanne Hull of Connecticut, Lawrence Perry of New York, and Tiffani Azulay of East Providence.
Visitation will be held on Thursday March 3, 2022 from 5-8pm in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.

Obituary Preview: Nuri Gomez Diez of Johnston passed away at The Miriam Hosptial in Providence on February 21, 2022.  She was 74 years old.  Nuri was the loving mother of Luigi Serpa of Central Falls, Harold Serpa of North Providence, Kenneth Serpa of Newark, NJ, Sandra Serpa of Johnston and the late Brilly Serpa.Mrs. Gomez Diez was a proud grandmother of 12 and a great grandmother of 5.  She was the beloved sister of Marta Barosso of North Providence, Doris Gomez of Florida, Grace Gomez Diez of Central Falls and the late; Efrain Gomez Diez, Manuel Cantonio Gomez Diez, Floralba Gomez, Diez, Nelly Gomez Diez.  Nuri is survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Nuri was born on May 1, 1947 in Barranquilla, Colombia and was the daughter of the late Jesus Manuel Gomez and Maria Marta Gomez Diez.  She was a dedicated homemaker and a devoted member of St. George's Episcopal Church in Central Falls.  Family was everything to Nuri and her love will never be forgotten.
Nuri's family invites all who are able to celebrate her life at St. George's Episcopal Church 12 Clinton St Central Falls at 12:00pm on Thursday February 24, 2022.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn-North Purchase Cemetery in Attleboro, MA.  Visitation will be private.  Arrangements are under the care of The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.

Obituary Preview: Alexander Maya, 32, of Pawtucket passed away suddenly last week.  He was born in Providence, RI a son of Liliana Ojeda of Pawtucket and Alcidiades Maya of Florida.  Alexander was employed in the restaurant industry and was employed at 'El Paisa' Restaurant in Central Falls.  He worked in various positions and was an able cook, server and bartender.
Besides his parents he leaves a son Alexander David Maya of Pawtucket and a daughter, Sophia Marie Streker of East Greenwich, RI. He also leaves two sisters Jennifer Jackeline Maya of Florida and Arianna Esther Jimenez of Pawtucket.
Visiting Hours are MONDAY evening from 5 until 8 PM in the Coelho Home, Central Falls and a Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday morning at 9:30 in Holy Spirit Parish Church, Dexter Street Central Falls, interment will follow in Woodlawn-No. Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro. MA.
