Obituary Preview: Angel Tuggle Fountain, 59, passed away on Wednesday, September 13th, at her home in Guyton, GA. Angel was born on January 8, 1964, in Chattanooga, TN.  Shortly after her birth her family relocated to Savannah, GA where she called home until moving to Guyton, GA as an adult.  She remained in Guyton until her passing. She attended St. James Catholic School and St. Vincent’s Academy. Angel had a love for all animals, though she was especially passionate about dogs and horses. Similar to that of a horse, she had a fiery spirit that was unstoppable. She had a love for music that was rooted from her late fathers’ lifelong musical talents as a jazz musician. She was known to dance like nobody was watching anytime the mood hit, whether it was Aerosmith, Vanilla Ice, or the Labyrinth soundtrack. Angel shared an incredibly special bond with her own mother; they were the best of friends. The two of them could talk for hours at a time, never running out of things to talk about.  She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Andrew Tuggle, II. Angel is survived by her 6 beautiful children, daughter Candace Groover of Guyton, GA, daughter Ashley English (Savannah) of Columbia, SC, son Christopher “Jake” Sparks (Katie) of Savannah, GA, daughter Tayler Phillips of Guyton, GA, daughter Jenna “Rese” Fountain of Guyton, GA, and daughter Samantha “Grace" Smoot (Timothy) of Guyton, GA, as well as 6 grandchildren, 4 step-children, several step-grandchildren, her mother Therese Tuggle Hafey of Savannah, GA, brother Charles “Andy” Tuggle, III (Megan) of Richmond, VA, sister Denise Tuggle Stribling, sister Debbie Tuggle Camp, many nieces, nephews, and cousins that span from Georgia to California, and a man, Dwayne, that never stopped being her husband and loving her despite their divorce.
A memorial service will be held at Carlson and Riggs Funeral Home in Guyton at a later date to be announced by the family.  The family asks that special memories with Angel be shared on the online guestbook found on the Carlson and Riggs Funeral Home website, while services are being finalized.
