Obituary Preview: Debra A. Cloudt 68 of Chatsworth, IL died Friday November 24, 2023 at 3:52am at Accolade Healthcare of Pontiac after a fourteen year battle with breast cancer.
Debbie was born on February 27, 1955 at Fairbury Hospital to Charles and Iva Jean (Ferguson) Whately. She married Otto Cloudt on June 3, 1995 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Fairbury. He preceded her in death on February 6, 2022. Survivors include: two brothers: Art (Patsy) Whately of Fairbury, IL and Mike (Beth) Whately of MI. Survivors also include three nephews: Chad (Asley Sheer) Whately, Trevor (Thao Vo) Whately and James Whately; three nieces: Bridget Whately, Lindsey (Troy) Jozefiak and Cassandra Whately along with one great nephew: Benjamin Jozefiak and one great niece: Evangeline Whately.
Deb graduated from Fairbury-Cropsey High School with the class of ‘74. She worked as a CNA at area nursing homes and had been a member of SELCAS.
She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. She also enjoyed watching and listening to the Fighting Illini football and basketball games. Supporting her love for animals, which she affectionally referred to as her “babies”, memorials may be made to Livingston County Humane Society. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and “Babies”.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial mass will be held on Saturday December 9, 2023 at 11:00am at St Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Chatsworth with Fr. David Sabel officiating. Inurnment will be in Strawn Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church for one hour before services. Memorials in Debra’s name may be made to Livingston County Humane Society. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home Chatsworth is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lynn was born on April 21, 1957 in Fletcher, AK. She was the daughter of Sam and Nancy (Marks) Eaton. She married David Gahm in Fairbury in 1978. Sadly he passed away in October of 1981. She later married Todd Bryant in Chatsworth, on July 8, 1995. He survives in Chatsworth, IL.
Also surviving are children, Amy Gahm of Chatsworth, IL, Samantha (Jacob) Buff of Chatsworth, IL; grandchildren, Haleigh Buff, Emma Trichel and Summer Buff; sisters, Betty (Jeff) Himan of Normal, IL, Vanessa Eaton of Morton, IL, Linda (Alan) Walter of Fairbury, IL; brother, Bruce (Jacqui) Eaton of Fort Meyers, FL; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Lynn graduated Fairbury Cropsey High School in the class of 1978 and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Chatsworth. She worked over the years at Fairview Haven and as a bus driver and custodian for the Prairie Central School district. She will be fondly remembered by the school children and many others as Mama Lynn. She enjoyed traveling and working in her yard but loved her family most of all. Many memories were made on camping trips and Friday game nights during bouts of Phase 10 and other card games. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Obituary Preview: Nora was born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas (Mexico) to Alberto Garcia & Antonina Salinas on 10/14/50. She attended Sam Houston Elementary in McAllen, TX. She married Julian Rivera on 06/29/73 in Edinburg, TX. She worked many years as an In-Home Caregiver and also cleaned the Chatsworth Post Office for several years. Nora’s favorite pastimes were cooking (this area has never and will never know better Mexican food), gardening (she leaves us a bountiful harvest of her favorite vegetables & fruits), quilting (she won 1st place quilt at the Fairbury Fair) and painting (she never saw a need to buy artwork having decorated her walls with her own). She was also a dedicated member at Living Word Church (Roberts,IL) & later Life Church (Gilman,IL).
Nora is preceded in death by both parents, her brother Jesús Garcia, and sister Yolanda Quiroz.
Nora is survived by her husband of 50 years, Julian Rivera…son Rosalio Rivera of Chatsworth, IL…Veronica (Saul Gonzalez) of Streator,IL…Rebeca (Jose Garcia) of Chatsworth, IL…her 6 grandchildren Cristian Rivera (Ivana Bell), Daniel, Monserrat, Zulema, Nayla, and Amaris…3 great-grandchildren Adelina, Mireya, and Cruz…and youngest brother Antonio Salinas (Enedelia Rivera).
The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the members of Life Church for always being there for her and the family.

Malcolm was born on January 21, 1956, in Plainfield, IL, to Clyde and Maggie (Yarbrough) Mayfield. He married Patricia Gallagher. They later divorced but stayed in contact as good friends.
He is survived by his daughter: Kaylynn (Erik Pyrcik) Mayfield of Chatsworth, IL, and her mother: Kathy Edwards. As well as Malcolm's only surviving brother, Steven Mayfield who resides in Minnesota. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Karen, Ross, Betty, Wendy, Vicky, Kevin and Dale,
He worked at Kerr Glass and Phoenix Closures. Malcolm enjoyed fishing, camping, working on cars, listening to country music, shooting guns but most importantly just spending time with his daughter.

Inurnment will be at a later date in Chatsworth Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00-7:00pm at the church and one hour before the service on Tuesday.  Memorials in Bradley’s name may be made to his family or the Chatsworth Fire Department. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Chatsworth is handling the arrangements. Everyone attending services is asked to wear casual attire.
Bradley was born on March 22, 1975 in Gibson City, IL a son of Gary D. and Linda D. (Gerth) Kinney. Survivors include: his mother: Linda D. Kinney of Chatsworth, IL; one brother: Tyler Kinney of Pontiac, IL; Uncle Tom (Kay) Gerth of Chatsworth, IL. Bradley was preceded in death by his father: Gary D. Kinney.
Bradley was a graduate of Prairie Central High School and attended Parkland College in Champaign, IL. He was employed in architecture for Shive Hattery and Farnsworth Group.
Bradley was a former first responder and firefighter for the Chatsworth Fire Department. He loved flying and modifying drones and helicopters.

Georgia was born November 8, 1956, in Fairbury, Illinois, the daughter of Johnny Buford and Betty Marie (Barnes) Durham.
Surviving are: brother, Johnnie “Duane” Durham of Chatsworth; sister, Debbie Durham of Carbondale; 3 nieces; 3 nephews; 8 great nieces; 8 great nephews; good friend Lisa Lowry and her beloved dog Sambo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step mother, Shirley Durham; step father, Frank Reynolds; 2 sisters, Jeanetta Galloway and Denise Durham.
She worked over the years for McDonald’s Family Restaurant in Fairbury, IL and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed golf kart rides, going out to eat every once in a while and loved everything about Christmas.
She was one of the most caring people you could have met and fiercely loved and cared for her family and friends.

Obituary Preview: Marilyn L. Fortna, 92, of Fairbury and formally of Chatsworth, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the United Methodist Church of Chatsworth with a meal to follow. The Rev. Lynette Barnett will officiate. Visitation will precede the funeral from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., also at the church. Burial will be at Chatsworth-Charlotte Cemetery.
Marilyn was born on May 18, 1930, in Chatsworth, to Howard and Lillian (Drilling) Pearson. She was formally married to Richard Groskreutz, and later, William Fortna. They both precede her in death.
She is survived by her children, Joyce (Ivan) Forbes of Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and Gerry (Diane) Groskreutz of Chatsworth; brother, Glenn (Zoe) Pearson of Lafayette, IN; grandson, Connor (Ashley) Groskreutz of Normal; and great granddaughter, Everly Groskreutz, also of Normal. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Phyllis (Pearson) Corban.
A member of the United Methodist Church of Chatsworth, Marilyn enjoyed attending church services every Sunday. An avid cook, Marilyn spent many hours in the kitchen, cooking for both family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing. The love that she had for her family was palpable and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Virginia was born on July 12, 1948, in Fairbury, Illinois, the daughter of Leo and Rosella (Dietterle) Dietz. Her mother, Rosie Dietz survives in Pontiac. She married Philip Haren on March 12, 1967. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1996. She married Jim Flessner on August 18, 2003 in Tucson, Arizona. He survives in Chatsworth. Also surviving are her children, Brian (Christine) Haren of Cullom, Eric Haren of Batavia, and Aryan Haren of Antioch; stepchildren, Cindy (Andy) Wood of Tuscola, and Mark Flessner of Elmhurst; grandchildren, Laura (Tim) Holohan, Lindsay (Cody Mahoney) Haren, Logan (Rena Schoonover) Haren, Haley Haren, Harper Haren, Liam Dohman, Christian Wood, Courtney Wood, Olivia Flessner, and Blake Flessner; great grandchildren, Peyton Holohan, Parker Holohan, Rylee Mahoney, and one on the way, Raelynn Grace; siblings, Roger (Jan) Dietz of Saunemin, Louise Holcomb of Springfield, Doris (Danny) Whitecotton of El Paso, Eugene (Trish) Dietz of Texas, Donna (John) Cutsinger of Allerton, and Mary Ann Anderson of New Lenox.
Virginia was preceded in death by her first husband, Philip Haren; her father, Leo Dietz; and her brother, Richard Dietz. Virginia was a graduate from Cullom High School in 1966. She was a member of the EUB Methodist River Church in Charlotte, where she used to teach Sunday School. When they closed, she became a member of the Cullom United Methodist Church. Upon moving to Chatsworth, Virginia became a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church where she has attended many years with her husband. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 613 in Chatsworth and was a member of the Cullom Jr Fair Association. Virginia also coached Cullom Little League and was a leader in Livingston County 4-H for
many years. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially going to sporting activities for her grandkids. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Michael was born November 2, 1976, in Fairbury, IL, the son of Theodore Allen and Karla Faye (Edwards) Lowery. He is survived by his parents; his grandparents, Thomas Richard and Marilyn Janeen Edwards; his life partner, Daniel Dale Naugle; and his brothers, David Thomas Lowery and Christopher Daniel Lowery.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald James and Teresa Marilyn Lowery.
Michael was a graduate of Prairie Central High School. He went to Northern Illinois University. He was a Senior Program Analyst 2 at the Hachette Book Group. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Chatsworth, IL.
Michael loved long conversations and socializing with his many friends and multitude of family members. He researched every topic imaginable and could remember every detail. He always knew something about anything you cared to discuss. He cared deeply about others and was a loving partner, friend, and family member.

John was born on June 13, 1926, in Elmendorf, TX, to Jose and Florence Moreno Barnhart. He married Mary Ann Zorn Harvey on May 15, 1971, in Chatsworth. She survives.
Also surviving him are his stepchildren: Linda Wilson of Bloomington, IL, Rick (Hakja) Harvey of Charlotte, NC, and Carol (Jerry) Woker of Okawville, IL; grandchildren: Mark (Sherry) Wilson, Jill (Andy) Copenhaver, Matt (Kersten) Wilson, Kyle Harvey, Liana Harvey, Brenda (David) Monti, Craig (Rita) Woker, Clint (Julie) Woker, Roy Young, Mary Jo Shields, and Lorri Day; great grandchildren: Abbey, Zach, Emily, Keaton, Corbin, Chloe, McKinley, Kai, Wyatt, Owen, Vaughn, Zane, Alex, William, Aaron, and Alyssa; and great-great grandchildren: Aria, Coen, Ava, Gabrielle, Madelyn, River, Jaxon, and Aaliya.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Connie Shaw, grandson Curt Woker, granddaughter Rebecca Harvey, and great-great granddaughter Lexie Harvey.
John proudly served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946. During that time, he served in WWII with General Patton’s 4th Armored Division. After leaving the Army, he joined the United States Air Force retiring after 20 years of military service. Upon retirement, he worked at the United States Postal Service in Bloomington. He retired from there in 1991.
John was a member of the American Legion, Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, Knights of Columbus, and the American Postal Workers Union.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dominick was born on January 26, 1943 in Chicago, IL a son of Frank and Margaret (Gelelya) Raymond. He married Sharon Grant on April 8, 1967 in Steger, IL. She survives in Chatsworth, IL; also surviving are three children: Sheri (Bill) Ritchie of Piper City, IL, Chrisy Raymond of Peotone, IL. and Nick (Deena) Raymond of Wheatfield, IN; five grandchildren: Samantha and Jacob Ritchie, Nick and Logan Raymond and Joel Myers; one brother: Joseph Raymond of Joliet, IL; three sisters: Annette Stilts of Shorewood, IL, Margaret Flamini of Joliet, IL and Andrea Domzalski of Manchester, TN. Dominick was preceded in death by his Parents, one Son: Dominick Raymond and one Brother: Frank Raymond.
Dominick attended Crete-Monee High School and was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Midwest Operating Engineers (Local #150) out of Countryside, IL. He was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Chatsworth, IL., and Chatsworth American Legion. He was a Technical Advisor for Midwest Jeepster Association.
Dominick served our country in the US Army from 1967 until 1969 during the Vietnam War.

Bill was born on November 24, 1930, in Chatsworth, IL to Joseph J. and Mary Margaret (Ortman) Rebholz. He married Lois Ann Saathoff on September 17, 1960, in Chatsworth. She preceded him in death on May 1, 1982.

Bill was preceded by his parents; wife, Lois Ann; brother, Robert Rebholz; and sister, Mary Ann Davis.
Bill graduated from Chatsworth High School in 1948. He was in the United States Army serving in Korea during the conflict from 1951 to 1953, being discharged from Camp Crowder in Missouri with the rank of Sargent. Bill was a longtime farmer in the Chatsworth area, owned and operated Rebholz Electric for 27 years, and later worked for Hager Memorial Home for many years starting in 1988. He was a lifetime member of the Chatsworth American Legion Post #613. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Chatsworth.

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Matthew Haberkorn; siblings, Teresa Stark, Thomas Haberkorn, Margaret Ruebling, Roberta Jane Shumaker, and Ronald Haberkorn; and brother in law, James Knoll.
Richard went to Drendel Country School for two years as well as the Cullom Grade School before graduating from Cullom High School in 1958. Richard joined the United States Army after high school and proudly served our country.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a private graveside inurnment at a later date.
