Sierra enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was known for her scrapbooking and crafts. Sierra always looked forward to boating and fishing. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Robert Alton Shipwash, 54, passed away peacefully at his home on March 9, 2024.
Robert was born on July 24, 1969. His father is Michael John Shipwash and his mother is Joanna Jane Washington (Arnette).
Robert worked many years in the construction industry working on home improvements. If you met him, more than likely he told you one of his many jokes. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan and also loved watching his beloved Atlanta Braves play baseball. He also loved motorcycles and animals, most of all, his new kitten Ozzy.
He was predeceased by his grandma “his heart” Wilhelmina Collins and his grandpa Alton Arnette.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Lacey Kay (Nicholas) Moran; his mother Joanna Jane Washington (Arnette); his sister Teresa (Donny) Streeter and his brother Michael John (Christy) Shipwash Jr.; his aunt Hilda Boswell; his uncles Chris (Sandy) Arnette, Dale Arnette, and Tommy (Connie) Arnette; many other uncles and aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
His family will hold a Memorial Gathering this Saturday March the 16th at Cabarrus Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery located at 3892 Hwy 73 East, Concord, NC 28025 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Born on March 31st, 1993, in Concord, Massachusetts, Lance was not only a talented athlete who excelled in cross country track, skiing, soccer and cycling but also embodied love, warmth, and compassion in every aspect of his life. His heart, beautiful and full of kindness, touched the lives of all who knew him. Lance's love for his family knew no bounds; they were his everything, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His unwavering love and good-hearted nature made him a beacon of light to those around him, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
In addition to his athletic pursuits and passion for cryptocurrency, Lance found joy in the simplest of pleasures, whether it was riding his bike through the bustling city streets of Charlotte, Boston, Salt Lake, and New York City, or spending quality time with his loved ones.
Lance is reunited in eternal peace with his beloved Papa, Aunt Pam, Grandma, Grandpa, and Great Nana, who passed before him. Their memories will forever be cherished alongside his.
Lance leaves behind his precious daughter, Luna Iannucci, who is 4 years old, as well as his loving parents, Lou and Lori Iannucci, and siblings Luke, Lysette, Lexi, Logan, Lyndsey, Tyson, his nephew Kal-el and his beloved Nana, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A heartfelt memorial service to celebrate Lance's life will be held on Friday, March 15th, from 4-5 pm, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2500 Rocky River Rd, Charlotte, NC 28213. Let us gather together to honor his memory and the beautiful legacy he leaves behind, remembering his passion for life, his boundless love for his family, and the light he brought into the world.

Osborne; his brothers, Tom (Ruby) Miller, Bruce Miller, and Ken Miller; his loving children, Barry Miller of Maiden, NC, Kimberly Cobb (Ryan Cobb) of Troy, NC, and Lori Webb of Norwood, NC; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Patsy, and his son-in-law, Scott Webb.
Buel retired after 34 years in the utility line business and belonged to a brotherhood of electrical workers. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and especially playing poker.
The family will receive friends and family Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 3:30 pm at Cabarrus Funeral Cremation & Cemetery, 3892 NC Hwy 73 E Concord, NC 28025. Ruth, 82, went to be with the Lord on February 22,2024 at Tucker Hospice House.
Ruth was born on Long Island, NY to Alfred (Manfredi) Mansfield and Ruth (Williamson) Mansfield. Ruth graduated Highschool in Gilboa NY. She was the loving wife of Allen Freeland (1989).
Ruth worked for St Joseph's Wayne Hospital, N.J. for 17 years. Ruth was also a Rock Star of a Sunday school teacher making class fun for all.
Her siblings Thomas Mansfield, Joan Whitestone, and June Barrett all pre-deceased her.
She is survived by children; Amy Freeland ,Susanne Johnson, Amanda Aldridge and son in law Christopher Aldridge. Her loving grandson John Allen Mastropole, nieces and nephews, and many treasured cousins.
Ruth was loved and cared for deeply. She will be remembered and greatly missed.

Earl McKinley Neall, Jr. was born in Cambridge, Maryland April 14, 1933 and passed away peacefully with family by his side February 22, 2024.
Earl was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jean A. Neall; his mother, Rose Marvelle Griffith; his father, Earl M. Neall Sr.; his brothers, James (Jack) Neall and Louis Neall; and his step-brother, Bobby Griffith.
Earl proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 until 1954. After his time in service, Earl went to work for the Baltimore Gas & Electric Company. After learning and practicing the trade, he eventually opened his own successful electrical business and owned that for many years. Earl then decided to sell his business and follow his calling as a teacher at the Center of Applied Technology South in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. He later retired.
Earl loved being outdoors where he enjoyed fishing and birdwatching. He was a skilled woodworker and always had a passion for Maryland seafood.
Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Michael Walker of North Carolina; his son, Richard Neall of Maryland; grandsons, Eric Coleman of North Carolina, Daniel Neall of Maryland, and Chad Walker of North Carolina; granddaughter, Holly Omalley & her husband, Matt of Montana; sisters-in-law, Emily Neall and Mildred Griffith; nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Wayne Knox - February 01, 1955 - February 14, 2024

Obituary Preview: Concord Willis Wayne (K.I.) Knox, age 69, passed away peacefully in his home February 14, 2024 with family by his side after fighting a valiant battle with cancer. His strength to pursue his fight was wanting to spend time with his grandchildren as he said he was, “falling down on his Papaw duties.”
Wayne was born February 1, 1955 in Ooltewah, TN to Willis H. Knox & Joanne Carpenter Knox where he grew up on the family farm. He began working in his dad’s store & also helped on the family farm as a young boy. He graduated from Ooltewah High School in 1973. He began his career with Southern States after graduating from Tennessee Tech University in 1980 with a B.S. in Animal Science. Wayne had several positions with the company which moved him to several states during his 12 years with them. He moved his family to Concord, NC in 1990, which was his last position with Southern States before going into business for himself. Wayne owned & operated Turf Techs, Inc for 10 years. He later took a position with Smith, Turf, & Irrigation, and then retired from True Value Hardware in 2020. Wayne worked his entire career in Agriculture.
Wayne was a hardworking, fun loving kind of guy. He had a sense of humor, had a way with making people laugh, and he loved to reminisce about “old times”. Wayne had an unbelievable memory and he could tell a story like nobody else. He loved NASCAR and football along with spending time outdoors grilling and gardening, but he cherished his family time, most of all.
Wayne is preceded in death by his grandparents Luther L. Knox and Pearl Roberson Knox; William F. Carpenter and Ruth McKnight Carpenter; his father, Willis Hoyle Knox and mother-in-law, Shirley Hurt Kirkwood.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of 44 years, Kimberley Kirkwood Knox; son, Justin (Carla) Knox; daughter, Shea (Clay) Weemhoff; mother, Joanne Carpenter Knox; sister, Charlotte (JR) Humphries; father-in-law, Charles Kirkwood, brother-in-law, David (Leigh Ann) Kirkwood; four grandsons and one granddaughter……….Landon, Bryce, and Tanner Knox; Pressley and Merritt Weemhoff; three nephews and two nieces.
The family will hold onto the memories they shared with him and find comfort in the love and joy he brought into their lives. He will be missed by so many.
The family would like to extend thanks to Levine’s Cancer Center in Charlotte and in Concord, Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County.

Blanche Howell, age 101, passed away on February 2, 2024 at Transitional Health Services of Kannapolis.
Blanche was born October 20, 1922 in Mt. Pleasant, NC. She was the daughter of the late Robert A. Cook and Alice Biggers Cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Howell, son Charles Howell, grandson Robert Lamb, four brothers and three sisters.
She was the mother of son Robert Howell (Audrey) of Concord, NC; daughters Martha Blackwelder (Ray) of Charleston, SC, and Ellen Helms (James) of Concord, NC; and, daughter-in-law Kathy Howell. Blanche was a loving granny who enjoyed taking care of her 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Blanche is survived by her brother Dr. Harry Cooke of Hickory, NC and sisters Sue Boyter of Charlotte, NC and Emily Kennedy of Kannapolis, NC.
Blanche was a long-time member of Center United Methodist Church. When she retired from Sossmon’s Hosiery Mill, she worked for Social Services of Cabarrus County assisting the elderly. Also, baking for others was a pleasure for her. Joy was spread to others with her friendliness and warm smile.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 6th at Center United Methodist Church at 1119 Union Street South, Concord NC.

Obituary Preview: Concord Early on February 1, 2024, Julita Cruz DeJesus Walker, 57, took her last breath with her first born at her bedside at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord, North Carolina ending a
year of suffering from a terminal illness. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the memorial gathering on Friday, February 9th from 11 - 1pm at Cabarrus Funeral Cremation & Cemetery. Julita and her caring husband, Jerry Lee Walker Jr. (Jay) resided in Florida until June of 2023 at which time they moved back to Carolina to be closer to and cared for by his and her family
members. Julita, the eldest child, was born on August 26, 1966 in Windham, Connecticut to Donna and the late Luciano DeJesus. She was raised by her dad and spent her childhood between Puerto Rico and Connecticut. She was strong and proudly a daddy’s girl who learned a lot from him…especially how to cook which became one of her favorite past times. At a young age, she developed a passion for jewelry and for travel. Her favorite destinations often included a beach; however, a casino followed in a close second. It’s no surprise that her favorite color was red which perfectly complemented her vibrant, outgoing personality. She was the life of any party; however, her most cherished moments and memories were made with her offspring and pets, Oreo, Reesie and Coco. Julita was most often described by those close to her as “family
oriented”.
Julita was preceded in death by her father, Luciano, who died in 2020. She is survived by her husband Jay and her five children of whom she was most proud. Her oldest child, Jessica Cutting (Jamal) of Charlotte, North Carolina; sons Charles Cannon (Katrina) who is active duty in the US Army and John Cannon of Charlotte; her name sake, Julita Roberts
Council of Durham, North Carolina and the baby girl, Victoria DeBerry of Richmond, Virginia. Her grandchildren, also referred to as her heartbeats, are Isaiah “Zay” Carter, Alvin John “AJ” Cannon, Majesty Cutting, Monica Cannon, Symphony, London and Jariah Council and Jeremiah Kingston Cutting. She was blessed to care for her great-grandchildren Achilles and Zylah
Carter. She further leaves to mourn her mother, Donna Jean Kennedy (formerly DeJesus); brothers Louis, Luis “Moyo”, Luisito of Connecticut, and Sean DeJesus of Rhode Island; one sister, Donna Turner, and stepbrothers Jose Luis Gonzalez of Texas and Junior of Puerto Rico . She will be missed by her aunts Julie Vazquez of Connecticut and Amparo Figueroa of Ohio; uncles
Ismael and Juan DeJesus of Connecticut, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Cabarrus Funeral Cremation & Cemetery, 3892 Hwy 73 E., Concord, NC.
Darleen is survived by her husband, Martin L. Hudson Jr., of Locust, NC; her three children, Angela D. Hudson, Jeffery W. Hudson, and James D. Hudson; siblings, Marleen Wingler, Pam (Terry) Caster, Ernie (Linda) Wingler, and Johnny Wingler; eight grandchildren, Christopher Hudson, Brittany Hudson, Brooklen Hudson, Dakota Hudson, Allen Thompson, Colby Hudson, Hunter Hudson, and Brittany Privette; great grandchildren, Madilyn Hudson, Maleigh Hudson, Hayden Hudson, Paisley-Ann Hudson, Montana Hudson, Journey Hudson, Sarah, and Luke.
Darleen worked at Zsegura Gear Machine Shop in Charlotte, NC for many years. She loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

David was born in Fayette County, Kentucky June 17, 1941 to the late Clinton T. Frazier and Jewell D. Vanderpool Frazier. David is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Helen Woodall Frazier; his son Mark Frazier and his wife Tiffany; and his loving grandkids Cody, Katie, Justin, and Emily.
David was a car enthusiast, and especially loved, and owned some later model Corvettes. He also loved fishing and reading any chance he got.

Stephen George Ferrara Jr. (Steve) passed away at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC January 24, 2024 at the age of 77.
He is survived by his sister, Roseann Stone of Brookhaven, PA; his two daughters, Stacey Ferrara of Concord, NC and Shelley Rinaldo of Kannapolis, NC; his granddaughters, Mikayla Cooper, Gianna Rinaldo, and Taylor Rinaldo.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Helen; his brother, George & wife, Helen; as well as many other dear friends who were considered family.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA to Stephen D Ferrara and Helen R. Browne. He graduated from Villanova University, spending summers life guarding in Cape May, NJ. After graduating college, he returned to the family business known as Ferrara Chevrolet in Penns Grove, NJ. He was a pillar of the community, assisting his friends and neighbors in whatever was needed. He married his sweetheart, Helen Raytek, and had two daughter who were the loves of his life, Stacey and Shelley. His daughters will remember him as their hero and friend who always made family his priority. He was a gentle giant who could bring peace to chaos with one word. He never met a stranger and found friends all over the world.
Steve’s wish was to be cremated without a service. Please send condolences to staceyaferrara@gmail.com.
The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and CNAs at Atrium Health Cabarrus and The Greens of Cabarrus. The family also has a deep appreciation and gratitude for Atrium Hospice and the staff at Tucker Hospice House for allowing Steve to have the most peaceful transition to Heaven.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, and just being outdoors. Tom loved being with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.
Those left to cherish Tom’s memories are his children, Todd & wife, Lisa Fullerton, William & wife, Kristina, and Lisa & husband, Anthony Gallarini; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Brenda is predeceased by her siblings Rachael Furr and Dorothy Furr Untz.
Brenda will be laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
