She enjoyed playing bingo and loved playing softball on the weekends. She was a Steelers fan and she enjoyed being with her friends and going to concerts. She was employed at the Laurel Highlands Foundation, and Kraisinger's Market. She is also survived by 2 brothers and one sister, Lisa Leonard and husband Perry, Curtis Armel ,Rachel and Clinton Armel, Vicki and several nieces and nephews Family and friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 406 E. She was formerly employed at the Modulus Corporation and also at the former Gallatin Bank. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church Scottdale. She is survived by her daughter, Shawnee Hart of Everson and her son-in-law Dean Hart of Mount Pleasant and her son, Michael O'Roark of Tarrs; her grandchildren, Ryan DeLuca and his wife Jodi of Connellsville, Kisa Pentarek and her husband Mike of Greensburg, Gena Hart and her partner Katelynn of Rochester, NY and Nick Hart of Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Logan, Carter and Sloane DeLuca, Kennady and Hayden Pentarek and Max Spacher; sister, Helen Jean Ash of Torrance, CA and a nephew, Shane O'Roark of Burgettstown, Pa.. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Silcox; grandson, Jared DeLuca; brother, George Malisky and sisters, Carolyn Helms and Charlotte Durkett. She is survived by two children, Kenneth Snyder of Mount Pleasant and Melissa Wilkins and her husband Jeremy of Mount Pleasant; two grandchildren, Chloe and Ethan Wilkins and her siblings, Dale Mowry and his wife Ann of White, Brenda Fuoss of Acme, Kim Dressler and her husband John of Acme, Kevin Mowry and his wife Mary Beth of Stahlstown and Trudy Steyer and her husband Ron of Mill Run. He was a member of the Assunta Club, Kosciuszko Club, Polish Falcons Club and the Mount Pleasant Slovak Club. Jimbo enjoyed his Harley and rooting for anybody but the Steelers but most of all he loved spending time with his three loving grandchildren whom he loved very much. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step mother, Alma Gustafson of Virginia; daughter, Crystal ( Shawn ) Cox of Mount Pleasant; brothers, Michael ( Autumn) Gustafson of Connellsville, Pa. and Mark Gustafson ( Leah ) Of Mount Pleasant; sister, Stephanie ( Daniel) Mann of Mechanicsville, Virginia, his grandchildren, Ben and Nathan Cox and Stormy Gustafson of Mount Pleasant. He is also survived by his godmother, Fran Biller of Mount Pleasant and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. Obituary Preview: Patricia Ann Czerniak "Pat", 86 of Mount Pleasant, Pa., passed away on March 15, 2024 at her home in her "easy chair" with family who she "will love to the end of time" by her side. Patricia was born in Mount Pleasant on February 27, 1938, the daughter of the late John and Sophia Osinski Jurkowski. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Czerniak; sisters, Matilda Czarniak ( Edward) and Florence Levendosky and brothers, John ( Betty), William ( Peggy), Leonard ( Marylou) Jurkowski. Patricia leaves behind her two beloved children, Edward J. Czerniak of Jacksonville, Florida and daughter, Linda Czerniak Frey and partner, Shayne Naugle of Mount Pleasant. She also leaves behind her dearest grandson, Dane C. Czerniak, who lived with her, helped care for her and was a "true blessing" her entire life; her other loving grandsons, Gage ( Dakota) Czerniak and Dylan (Lina) Czerniak of Jacksonville, Florida and James E. Frey III of St. Petersburg, Florida; brother-in-law, William Levendosky; numerous nephews and nieces who adored her, cousins, lifelong friends and grand puppies. Patricia graduated from Hurst High School in 1956 and was employed at Union Apparel for many years. She was a member of the former Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church and then attended St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Patricia spent much of her life selflessly taking care of her family, babysitting, cooking, baking, sewing, doing whatever was asked without hesitation or complaint. She was known for her great love of family and friends, her trendy appearance, her laugh, her smile, her love of shopping, dining out. traveling, polka dances, festivals and relaxing in her " easy chair". Patricia was certainly the best mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her. A Private Service and celebration of her life will be held for the family and friends, along with private burial in the Transfiguration Cemetery. The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Hillman Cancer Center at Frick Hospital, Excela Hospital staff at Frick especially Dr. Madaan, Medic 10 and Amedisys Home Care and Hospice Staff. He was born August 6, 1949 in Mount Pleasant a son of the late Charles E., Sr., who passed in 2007 and Betty Hostetler Phillabaum, who passed in 1994. Chuck was a 1967 graduate of Mount Pleasant Area High School. He was retired from the US Postal service where he worked for 25 years and he had also worked at L.E. Smith Glass Co. for several years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and was an avid Notre Dame Fan. He is survived by his sister, Donna Czekaj of Greensburg ( Century Farms); nephew, Brian Czekaj of Norvelt and great niece, Maci Czekaj. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, William Phillabaum, who passed in 2004. Daryl was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School and he was employed by Duraloy-Blawnox for many years. He was a veteran of the US Army. Daryl loved and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling around the United States with his wife. They were both members of the Laurel Swingers. He attended every event and rodeo that his grandchildren were involved with. Also his favorite tradition was taking his grandchildren to Linn Run State Park every Christmas. He is survived by his wife, Jeannette A. Faidley Eutsey; two children, Brian K. In addition to his mother Marlene, he is survived by his lifelong companion, Christina Landy; his son, Kenny Landy of Mount Pleasant; his brother, Bill Shaffer and his wife Kelly of Hunker and their children, Cara Shaffer and Brian Shaffer and his wife Katelyn and their children, Briella and Beckham. He is also survived by his pet Chihuahua, Wendy Sue and his pet cat, Smores. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He is greatly missed. He was an avid reader and enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and cooking for the guys at work. He was a scout leader for many years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by PennDOT. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane Cavanaugh Berg; his son, Adam P.
