Marty Jean Kasprzak - April 21, 1943 - October 26, 2019

Departed: 10/26/2019 (Hamburg)
Obituary Preview: Kasprzak, Martha (Marty) Jean Pinckney, MI
Martha (Marty) Jean Kasprzak ascended to her final home on October 26, 2019. Marty passed away in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan hospital. The disease of dementia fiercely and brutally attacked her mind and body, succumbing to it in less than a year. It is a national disgrace that so little is being done to find a cure for dementia. I guess the elderly are considered expendable. We were destined to be together, which we were for fifty five years. Her passing has left a void in my heart and soul that can never be filled. She was my faithful compassionate companion, my confidant, my friend and the love of my life. Her mere presence lit up the room. She was joy to know and to be with. In her final days, she was as lovely and beautiful as she was when I first met her. She loved life, her country and her faith. Her outlook on life was always positive, though she could be feisty and courageous in defense of family and friends. She especially loved children, though she was denied by nature to be limited to only two. She loved her children as they love her. She loved music, doing crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. Marty was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Bischoff, her mother Christine Bischoff, her sister Hazel Patch, her brother Jonathan Bischoff and her sister Sara Bischoff. She is survived by her husband Vince, her daughters Dana and Leaundra, her sister Karen Spieth, and her brothers; Art, Jerry and Joshua Bischoff.
Her Farewell… Marty’s family and friends will gather Wednesday, October 30, 2019, 2:00-8:00pm (7:00pm rosary) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 11:00am (10:00am gathering) at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 10601 Dexter Pinckney Road, Pinckney, Michigan. Father Dan Kogut will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Chapter. Please leave a message of comfort for Marty’s family at 1-877-231-7900, or sign her guestbook at www.borekjennings.com.
