Cherished grandfather of Brayden and Brianna. Dear brother of Lynn (Tom), Peg (Jack), Bernie (Bob), MaryAnne (Dave), and the late Carol (Hank), and Larry Doyle. Fond brother-in-law of Jim (Judy), Rick, and the late Bill (Arlene). Proud uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a 50-year graduate from DePaul University. Jim loved church and was deeply involved in the parish of St. Damian Catholic Church in Oak Forest for 44 years, and was a past president of the Men’s Club. Jim will be remembered as a hardworking manager who also loved sales. Jim will be missed deeply by his family, friends, parish, and all who knew him.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 from the hours of 3:00pm-8:00pm at Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 S. Oak Park Ave, Tinley Park. John attended local schools and served in the United States Navy in 1949. He was a meat cutter for over 40 years working at various stores to include High Low (Chicago) and Walt’s (Tinley Park). He was an advocate of hard work and getting “the job done”. He possessed a great sense of humor and was always fun to be around. He will be deeply missed by his family to include his children, Greg (Mia), Mark and Jennifer (Charles) Phillips; grandchildren; Alexandra, Kathryn, Evelyn and Kristin; great grandchildren; Pepper Watie, Mary Jane Watie, Dalton Watie, Jr, Scarlett Watie; loving brother; Paul and a multitude of nieces, nephews to include many dear and loving friends

Rosemary worked for the American Tag Company, where she met her husband, Roger. Afterwards, she became a stay-at-home mother to her children, before going on to work in the cafeteria of Maria High School for 10 years until her retirement.

Obituary Preview: Thomas James Loperena—Tommy—passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2022. In his passing, he left a loving family and many dear friends behind. Always known as a Mama’s Boy, Tommy was deeply devoted to his family. He was a wonderful big brother to his sister, Celeste. Tommy met his wife, Shelby, 10 years ago. Tommy was so happy and proud to become her husband. Tommy and Shelby created a beautiful family together. Tommy was the number one superhero to his son, T.J., Tommy’s daughter, Kaylee, was Daddy’s girl, through and through.
Tommy was a lifelong, devoted White Sox fan. His love for baseball started when he was a small child playing T-ball. It was rare to see him without a baseball glove in hand. With pride and passion, Tommy drove big rigs for many years. His bright beautiful smile, loving heart, and sense of humor will be missed by so many. Tommy will be remembered fondly and cherished, always.
Tommy’s kind and generous spirit can be seen in that he, through the Gift of Hope, saved three lives through organ donation.
A beloved son, husband, father, and brother, Tommy is survived by: his loving wife, Shelby Loperena; his mother, Loretta Loperena, and her partner, Joan Konwinski; his three cherished children, Kaylee, Thomas-Jesse (T.J.), and baby Lennox Loperena; his sister, Celeste Gonzalez (Tony). Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Peter Loperena.
Tommy was dearly loved by his godparents, Mary Ellen McKenna and Thomas (Tom) Stryczek. Tommy was much loved by his many aunts and uncles, and adored by his three godchildren—Adam Sanchez, Leo Aguirre, and Cristian Rodriguez. Tommy will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 3:00 - 8:00 PM at Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 Oak Park Avenue, Tinley Park, IL. Eunice was born in Pulaski, TN, on January 6, 1927, where her family resided until moving to Erie, PA, in 1929. Eunice moved to Chicago in 1957, where she went on to work as a Service Coordinator for Upjohn Pharmaceuticals for 20 years. Eunice was a long-time member of the Church of God and Saints of Christ (since 1959) where she earned the title of Grand Trustee; as a faithful member of the Church of God and Saints of Christ, Eunice enjoyed working with the children and the adult choir. Eunice will be dearly missed by her many friends and loving family.
A private Committal Service will be held at a later date by Eunice’s family at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: Albert Henry Jones III, also known as Duv to his family and close friends, passed away at home on Friday, February 25th, 2022.
Al was born on February 17, 1951 to Albert Henry Jones and Patricia (Ingles) Jones in St Louis, MO. On December 26, 1970 in Park Forest, IL he married Elizabeth (Liz) Shaw who survives. Also surviving are their two children Albert Henry Jones IV and Dorothy Jones (Chris Kowalski), a grandson; Bailey Jones, his sister; Allison (Terry) Arney and his sisters-in-law; Peggy Shaw, Connie Shaw, and Trish Shaw as well as many nieces and nephews.
Al was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Patricia Jones, his son Richard Jones, and his in-laws William and Jane Shaw.
Al loved woodworking and especially enjoyed making things for the ones he loved. He was quite the craftsman and the things he created will be cherished for many years to come. Al loved building things including his teardrop trailer, as well as creating new things such as his Shake-A-Tron spray can shaker.  He also had a love of aviation, and in his later years he was an avid glider.
Cremation has taken place, but no service has been planned at this time.
The family respectfully requests that no flowers be purchased, but that memorial contributions be sent to a cause of the donor's choice or to the American Cancer Society.
