Born on April 4, 1942 in Lincoln Park, Michigan, she was the daughter of Clayton and Ruth (Douglas) Minier. On November 23, 1963 she married Keith McMann in Brownstown Twp., Michigan.
She was employed as a hospice nurse for years before retiring.
Nellie will be remembered for many things, most notably her singing abilities, as well as being an artist and a seamstress. She always wanted to be a mom. Her lifelong dream was to become a nurse, which she succeeded at, obtaining her nursing degree when she was in her 40's. She loved being a hospice nurse. Her faith was very important to her. More than anything, she adored her grandchildren.
Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Ruth Ann Walker, Donald Minier.
She is survived by her husband, Keith McMann, children, Holli McMann, Shannon McMann, Matthew (Lisa) McMann, grandchildren, Kilian (Rayla) McMann, Kennedy (Sam McInerney) McMann, Casey Elkhoury, Chloe Elkhoury, Jackie Minier, Lily Minier, sister, Reatha Hartsuff.
Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, and Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 10:30 am to 11 am. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 11:00 am. Rev. Reginald Woods will officiate the service. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Huron Township, Michigan.

Kevin was a comedian, he loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and was a big history buff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and niece, Lauren Williamson.
Kevin is survived by his wife, "Butthead" Manda, siblings, Pamela Williamson, Joann Currier, William Currier and James McCallister, several nieces and nephews, 3 great nieces, 1 great nephew and fur children, Floki, Ragnar, Smoke and Scraggles.

Born on October 6,1929 in Wapakoneta, OH, she was the daughter of Charles and Marjorie (Weimert) Hargis.
On February 5, 1949 she married William Kruse in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rockwood, MI.
Mary was a graduate of Flat Rock High School, Class of 1947, she tied for Class Valedictorian and gave the Salutatorian speech at graduation. Mary worked for Socony Vacuum after high school until her first child was born, and later worked for Sitkins Insurance until once again becoming a stay at home Mom. She loved bowling and was very proud of her 235 high game. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading, but most important to her was her family, and they loved her dearly.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, Charles Jr. and Marjorie.
She is survived by her children; Michael (the late Nancy Baldwin) Kruse, Nancy (Richard) Martinez, Dennis Kruse, Donald Kruse, Gary (Lisa) Kruse, grandchildren; Steven Kruse, Erika (John) Nutter, Marty (April) Martinez, great-grandchildren; Maria, Vincent, Mason, Lucia and sister, Joyce (Robert) Kruse.
Friends may visit at Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Born on September 10, 1943 in Alma, Michigan, he was the second son of Francis and Rosalind (Essex) VanHorn. He married Ruth Barker 19 years ago in 2005.
Gerry was a Army Veteran, proudly serving our country from 1961-1964. He spent time overseas in Italy. He retired from Carquest Auto Parts located in St. Louis, Michigan after 30 years as store manager. Prior to working for Carquest, he had built both of his family's homes from the ground up. He was very much a family man. He enjoyed numerous things during his life; fishing, social media, singing songs in church to the children, pencil drawing of flowers, peoples faces, and spiritual visions. He liked watercolor painting too. He had Jesus in his heart, and would read his Bible everyday, pray for his family and friends and memorize Bible verses. He loved writing poems and stories of the memories he had. He was truly an inspiration to all.
Gerry was preceded in death by his first wife, Diana VanHorn, his parents, granddaughter, Breanna VanHorn, step-son Robin Decker.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth VanHorn, children, Gerry VanHorn, Jr., Michelle (Dan) Mahoney, Autumn VanHorn, and Randy (Michelle) VanHorn; step-daughter, Rachel Decker; brothers Roger (Marguerite) VanHorn, Rex (Bonnie) VanHorn, and Kirk VanHorn; 12 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First Congregational Church of Flat Rock on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Robin E. Honaker will officiate the service.

Born on October 9, 1942, she was the daughter of Daniel and Mildred (nee Traster) Horden.
She was employed with Aramark for 20 years until retiring in 2004. She was given a memorable retirement party to mark her career.
She was known to be a feisty, hard working lady. She had a great sense of humor. She was proud to be one of the oldest of all of her cousins.
She took great pride in taking care of her mother “Mim” for 15 years. They were quite the team.
She loved children and especially her great grandson Niall, the apple of her eye.
She loved going up north to Houghton Lake, where she enjoyed boating with family and friends and sitting around the bonfire with Scooter on her lap at all times, cup of coffee in hand.
She especially enjoyed having family over for the holidays and was known to over feed everyone.
After a brief but serious illness, she is now at peace.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Horden, mother, Mildred Horden.
She is survived by her daughter, Renee (Juli Siagkris-Seymour) Harmon, son, Robert Harmon (Sheila Gray), grandson, Daniel (Rachel) Harmon, great-grandchild, Niall Harmon, Mishael and Letha Lidster-Bardoni, and beloved companion of 9 years dog, Scooter.

Lisa never had it easy in her life but it did not make her bitter nor did it make her pitiful, She was employed as an independent caregiver. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and doting on and was so proud of her grandson, whom she loved very much. She was a huge Alabama football fan ROLL TIDE!!!! She never hesitated to help when someone called or was in need. She was a very selfless person who enjoyed helping others. You could always count on Lisa. She was never pretentious...with Lisa you got the real her all the time there was no shame to her game ever.
She was an amazing person and will truly be missed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Donna, siblings, Lana and Brian, and niece, Christina. And many more that have gone before us.
Lisa is survived by her daughter, Magan Martin (Tamika Harden) , grandson, Marcellus Martin, good friend, Robert Ansell, several nieces, nephews, a great nephew, sister cousins, Trina and Kelly and several other close cousins.

She is survived by her husband, Leslie Griffith, son, Fred (Clara) Griffith, daughters, Natalie (Nino D'Arrigo) Griffith, Wendy (Michael Suchy) Griffith, daughter in law, Geri Griffith, grandchildren, Codey (Tiffani Freimark) Smock, David (Sabrina) Griffith, Jr., Kyla Griffith, Holly Griffith, several great-grandchildren, sister, Shirley Mann and several sisters and brothers in law.

Catherine was a 1969 graduate of Airport High School and afterwards graduated from Monroe Community College. She was a Past President of the Soroptimist Club of Flat Rock, and a member of the Pinochle Club of Carleton. She loved basket weaving and making afghans for family and friends for their special occasions. She was also a very avid supporter of her two sons drag racing.
Catherine was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Hinzmann, mother, Dorothy Hinzmann, brother, Dennis Hinzmann.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin Bennett, Jr., son, Edwin (Gwen) Bennett, III, son, Lance (Danielle) Bennett, granddaughter, Kaitlyn Bennett, brother, Virgil (Colleen) Hinzmann, Jr..

Born on March 20, 1972 in Trenton, Michigan. He was the son of Eugene Wawrin and Claudia (Bradley) Atkinson.
After graduating from Carlson High School, Chris went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. He was employed with WSP Global Corporation as a construction engineer for the last 20 years.
Chris had a passion for architecture from a young age and helped design many custom homes and commercial buildings in the Downriver area. A lifelong learner, Chris visited nearly all of the 50 states as well as traveling abroad. Chris loved nostalgia and long walks down memory lane. He felt comfort in the beautiful state of Pennsylvania where he spent some of the best times of his life. A few of his favorite things included, Mexican food, Sunday Fundays, sing a longs with his best friend, gardening, a stray cat named Squeaky, and his Dodge Ram. Chris was a kindhearted, friendly man and you could consider yourself lucky to call him a friend.
He is survived by his parents Eugene (Nancy) Wawrin and Claudia (Frank) Atkinson, sister, Carrie (Rich) Dolsen, step sisters, Meghan Dyke and Ashley Dyke, step brother, Frank Atkinson Jr., step sister Sarah (Jay) Williams, nephew Jack (Lyndsay) Dolsen, niece Lainey Dolsen, nephew Will Dolsen, step niece Ellyson Dyke, and great nieces Elora and Lydia Dolsen.

In order to enhance her career development, Tangaleeia obtained numerous certificates for banking at Monroe County Community College. She was a very strong woman, whose goal was to raise her boys to become successful adults. She was kind, independent, had a sarcastic sense of humor, and no enemies. She loved her Irish heritage and enjoyed many a Saint Patrick's Day in Chicago. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Tangaleeia was preceded in death by her mother, Rita McClanahan.
She is survived by her sons, Isaac Meyers and Shane Meyers, parents, Eddie and Gerri McClanahan and the father of her boys, Scott Meyers.

He was employed with Ford Motor Company as a metallurgist for over 30 years, until retiring in 1992. More than anything, he loved watching his grandchildren play sports. He enjoyed golfing and traveling to his place up north at Higgins Lake. He was well known for his 'antiquing" abilities!
Gale was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Barbara Korndorfer.

The Dunne family moved to Van Horn Road in Flat Rock, Michigan. Gary and his siblings enjoyed a humble and happy childhood in their tiny three-bedroom home. Fond memories were created through shared activities such as hunting, fishing, and playing cards. These early experiences shaped Gary's appreciation for family and the simple joys of life.
On September 28, 1963, Gary married the love of his life, Sharon Csokasy. Together, they embarked on a journey of 60 years of marriage, building a life filled with love and companionship. The couple have a daughter, Shelly Pluchino Reichlin (Ronnie), and another daughter, Sandy Hamdan (Al). Gary was a loving grandfather to Ryan Pluchino and an honorary grandfather to Rudy Villarreal.
In the early years of his career, Gary worked at Brikcrete on Telegraph Road in Flat Rock before moving on to Reinholt Sod Farm, where he specialized in landscaping and tree planting. In 1964, he joined the DT&I Railroad. Gary's passion for nature led him to purchase a plot of land in Carleton, Michigan, where he created his own tree farm, planting Norway Maples.
Gary retired on February 1, 2002, after 38 years of dedicated service, Gary developed many close relationships with his railroad coworkers and was actively involved with the DT &I Old Timers. Gary found joy in perfecting his garden. His green thumb extended to a variety of produce and berries, with his prized possessions being his meticulously cared-for tomato plants. Gary was known to have planted an impressive 750 tomato plants in a single season. His talent for gardening extended to perfecting his V8 juice, a sought-after delight among family and friends. A man of generosity, Gary never sold his produce; instead, he shared the fruits of his labor with the senior housing in Flat Rock and Carleton. He also made regular contributions to Helping Hands, embodying a spirit of kindness and community service.
Gary is survived by his devoted wife, Sharon, his daughters, Shelly and Sandy, grandson Ryan, son-in-laws, Ronnie and Al, honorary grandson Rudy, sister Betty (Bob) Leapley, and brother Lawrence, affectionately known as Buzz (Joyce) Dunne. His sisters-in-laws, Terri Dunne, Beverly Tillman, Sandy (Bill) Tingman and brother-in-law Louis (Donna) Csokasy. Additionally, he leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will fondly remember his warmth and love.
Gary was predeceased by his parents James and Eleanor Dunne, In-laws Louie (Leona) Csokasy who later married Bill Lenardo. Brother, Marsden (Phyllis), Brother Ron (Gloria), Brother Richard.
As family and friends gather to celebrate Gary's life, they are reminded of a man who lived with passion, cultivated a deep love for his family, and left an enduring legacy of kindness and generosity. Gary Joseph Dunne will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share in his life's journey.
The family has planned a Memorial Service for Gary at Faith Lutheran Church, 25402 Arsenal Road, Brownstown on Saturday, March 2nd. Visitation at 10:00 am and Service at 11:00 am. Raised in Lake City, Minnesota, Rosemarie was one of seven siblings. As a teenager, her family moved to Red Wing, MN, where she attended high school. After high school, she attended Winona Teachers College (now known as Winona State). At 21, she moved to Phoenix, AZ, where she met her beloved husband Glen Eugene Lewis. They were married on February 16, 1952, in Phoenix, where Glen was serving his country in the Air Force.
Rosemarie was a beloved mother of 7 children. Her first daughter, Deborah, was born in 1953. Followed by Cathi in 1954, Glenna in 1957, Patricia in 1958, Nancy in 1960, Jacqueline in 1964, and John in 1965. She raised her family in the Detroit, Michigan Metro area. The family lived in several suburbs of Detroit, including Garden City. In 1977, they moved to the Minneapolis, MN metro area, where her last three children graduated from high school.
She was a loving, caring, and committed wife, mother, grandmother ("Grandma" to her 10 grandchildren), and great-grandmother ("GG" to her 10 great-grandchildren). She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, and telling stories about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She liked to sew, make clothes for her children (and their Barbies) and grandchildren. She played cards with her friends, and was an avid coffee drinker. Her home was always filled with the love of her many children and grandchildren. She loved to have a full house with her family on holidays (sometimes, with all these people, there was little room left, standing room only). In her later years, she greatly enjoyed video calls with her great-grandchildren. She always brought a smile to any baby or toddler's face.
Rosemarie retired from FMC in Fridley, MN, in 1994 and then she and her husband, Glen moved back to Red Wing, MN, where she worked for a casino until she was 80. Then she retired again, this time for good.
Rosemarie was preceded in death by her parents, Martin Hjalmer Berg and Mary Mildred Lena (DeWitt) Berg, her beloved husband, Glen Eugene Lewis, brothers, Phalon Berg, Philip Berg, David Berg, and Keith Berg. She is survived by her 7 children: Deborah Carlson of Byron, MN; Cathi Wieckowski of Garden City, MI; Glenna Lewis of Columbia Heights, MN; Patricia Lewis of St. Louis Park, MN; Nancy (Gordon) Kadrlik of Farmington, MN; Jacqueline Lewis of Hopkins, MN, John (Susanne) Lewis of Lakeville, MN, and her siblings Rebecca Bryant of Jenkins, MN and Daniel Berg of Cross Lake, MN; her eleven grandchildren, Stanley, Jennifer, Astrid, Erik, Angie, Brittany, Corey, Chrissy, Matthew, and Katie and her 11 great-grandchildren, Stanley IV, Cooper, Levi, Bodhi, Taylor, Owen, Lukas, Kinsley, Carolina, and Crew.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Ellis, daughter, Lindsay (Brian) Dennis, grandchildren, Madilyn Dennis, Greyson Dennis, sister, Patti Phillips, brother, Kerry (Louise) Hunt.
