Born on May 21, 2018, in Locust Fork, Alabama, Waydee's brief five years were a testament to the joy and love she brought into the lives of all who knew her.

Waydee was a bright and eager kindergartener at Locust Fork Elementary, where her enthusiasm for learning and playing was evident to all. She embraced life with a passion that was inspiring, whether she was on the softball field, cheerleading with friends, or playing with her cat "Foggy" and her dog "Rocky", exploring her fascination with dinosaurs, or imagining herself as a mermaid on family beach trips.

Her visits to Disney World were moments of pure happiness, as she reveled in the magic that seemed to mirror her own spirited personality. Waydee's love for her family knew no bounds, and she was especially close to her big sister, Mylee, with whom she shared countless cherished moments.

Left to cherish Waydee's memory, mom Karley Edwards (Jared Hobson), sister Mylee Edwards, maternal grandparents Dwayne and Lori Edwards, grandparents Arnold and Debra Keith and Ethan and Tera Buzzard, great- grandmother Margaret "Peggy" Whitt, father Kyle Cotten, paternal grandmother Pauline Cotten, aunts and uncles Wade Edwards (Sunni), Kayla Turner (Charlie) and Kourtney Evans (Chase), cousins Tyler, Kash, Brynlee, Hadlyn, Graycee, and Mia, and with a host of additional aunts, uncles and cousins and friends. Each of these individuals played a special role in Waydee's life, and their memories of her will be treasured forever.

Visitation for Waydee will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, AL. This will be followed by a private graveside service at 4:30 pm in Hopewell Cemetery.

Waydee's presence in our lives was a gift—a bright, shining light that, though extinguished too soon, will continue to glow in the hearts of those who loved and knew her.

Mr. Trammell served his country with pride in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fixing things. Enjoyed deer hunting and quail hunting, but most of all he adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Virginia Mae Carolyn (Eubank) Goode was born on March 16, 1931, as the only child of John M. Eubank and Katie Lee (Watson) Eubank in Remlap, Alabama. Virginia lived with her parents in both Jefferson and Winston counties before returning to Blount County and settling in Cleveland in 1946. She became a member of Cleveland Methodist Church at that time. Virginia graduated from Cleveland High School in 1949. Shortly thereafter, she married Thomas Allen Goode, her husband of over 60 years. Over the years, Virginia was very involved in her church and community by holding offices in her church, cooking and sharing food with her church family, and delivering meals to community families. She loved and appreciated her church, the pastors, and the members through the years. Before retiring in May of 1994, Virginia worked in the Blount County Commission office for 29 years. She enjoyed her work, the people she worked with, and the people she met there. In addition to her time spent at church and work, Virginia was a homemaker. She enjoyed keeping her house clean, cooking for her family and herself, preserving foods of many kinds, and tending a bountiful garden full of vegetables and beautiful flowers. She always looked forward to shopping with her friends, as well as frequenting the public Library. More than anything Virginia loved all of her family so very much.

Obituary Preview: Bobby Don Wynn went to be with his Heavenly Father on February 27, 2024. He was surrounded by loved ones as he peacefully took his final breath.

Bobby was born to Oscar and Dorilla Wynn on May 10, 1943, their 7th of 8 children. His father passed when he was only 11, and Bobby rose to the challenge to help take care of his family, which was indicative of his character and priorities throughout his life.

Bobby was enjoyed by all that met him, his humor and life lessons instilled in everyone close to him. He had a passion for life that was evident to all who had the joy of spending time with him. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting, and shared these hobbies with family and friends alike. Any day spent with him promised to not be dull.

Above all, Bobby cherished his family and loved his kids deeply. He passed along his tenacious “Wynn” spirit, his adventurous personality, and his no-nonsense nature to them. Time with his family was incredibly important to him, and he valued all days spent together.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Dorilla Wynn, brothers Lenzie Wynn and Joseph Wynn, sisters Delba Hogland, Opal Staton, and Betty Schaffner, and granddaughter Erin Rosemore. We rejoice that he has been reunited with the family members he missed so greatly and now knows no pain.

He is survived by his wife, Janet, who has been his faithful sidekick for many years, his children, Tharmon Wynn (Angie) and Kimberly Rosemore, who were among his proudest accomplishments, as well as his grandchildren Kyle Wynn, Evan Rosemore (Cate), Landon Stubblefield (Thomas), Haley Lenes (Graham), and Audrey Morton. His sisters Vasie Morton and Martha Biles, and step-daughter Brandi Diaz will all miss him dearly. Bobby was able to meet and enjoy 3 great grandchildren, Elliott Wynn, Leighton Lenes, and Emmett Stubblefield. He missed by a few days meeting his newest great grandson, Hayes Lenes, a namesake in honor of his mother Dorilla.

Services will be on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home, 17885 State Highway 160, Cleveland, Alabama 35049, with Bro. Jr Thomas officiating. Mr. Pass retired as the owner of a water filter business but continued cattle farming until 2022.

He was a member and deacon at Cleveland First Baptist Church where he attended and served faithfully his entire life. He was an integral part of the construction process of both the original and current church buildings.

Mr. Pass was preceded in death by his parents Cleo and Bonnie Adams Pass, his wife of 58 years Janice Murphree Pass, brothers Amos Pass (Janet) and Henry Pass (Carolyn). He is survived by his three daughters Myra Thomas (Larry), Malinda Morton (Danny) and Vanessa Brown (Wayne), four grandsons Jonathan Thomas (Wendy), Mitchell Thomas (Hilary), Lee Morton, and Benny Brown, four great grandchildren Macey Thomas, Haley Thomas, Makayla Bryant, Kelton Thomas and brother Arnold Pass (Betty).

She was preceded in death by her father Jim Henry Brown and her mother Margie Knox Brown, her late husband Pete James Polizos.

Mrs. Calvert was born in Vincent, Shelby County, Alabama on March 30, 1944. She attended school in Childersburg, in Talladega County, where she graduated from High School in 1960 at sixteen years old. She was in many clubs and was in the band and played the flute. She was Head Majorette her Senior year. She was a member of the Cresswell Baptist Church where she was baptized in the creek behind the church as a teenager. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi for two years where she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. She returned to the Birmingham area and started working. Sarah worked for RUST Engineering for many years. In the early 1970's she and her husband, Pete and daughter Candy moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and then back to Birmingham where she worked for Brookwood Hospital when it was first built, as the medical staff secretary for all the doctors. In the mid 1970's the family moved to Monroe-West Monroe, Louisiana, for a job change. Sarah worked at the Courthouse for a judge as a para-legal and then later for the St. Frances Hospital with the medical staff again. While living in Monroe, she returned to Northeast Louisiana University now called, University of Louisiana-Monroe where she graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor in Political Science and Public Administration. Sarah briefly attended Louisiana State University Law School and Birmingham School of Law for continuing education classes. Sarah returned to Birmingham in 1990 to be closer to her mother, Margie, and Candy's growing young family. She continued working as a legal secretary and para-legal for law firms in downtown Birmingham. Sarah and her mother traveled to Europe by ship and saw Spain and Portugal. They flew home. In 1996, Sarah and Danny married at `Dawson Memorial Baptist Church where Sarah was a member of the Stephen Ministry, helping people in times of distress. After the honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean with Danny, she moved to Locust Fork where they built a home across from Marsielle and Paul: Danny's mother and brother and spent nearly twenty-eight years together. In the early years, they watched deer together from the back porch of Danny's grandparent's house. Together, they fished in Demopolis, on Logan Martin Lake, and Weiss Lake. Sarah worked in Oneonta for CASA, the Court Appointed Special Advocates for children as the Executive Director until her retirement. She attended Leadership classes in the Blount County area and met community leaders and many local citizens. Sarah was recently a member of the Pine Bluff Missionary Baptist Church in Locust Fork, where she was welcomed by the congregation. She was very proud of her grandchildren; and she enjoyed watching them grow to adulthood. Sarah had many family friends in the Locust Fork area that have been a great support during the recent illness. The family wants to thank them for the caring concern and love they have shown to each of us.
