Obituary Preview: Stanley J. Heath, born in Preston, ID on July 22, 1943 passed away on March 16, 2022 at the age of 78 after a brave battle with cancer.
Preceded in death by his brother Jeff.  Survived by his life-long companion and friend, Jo, sister Georgia, brothers Bob and Gary and his sons, Jon (Deanna), Chris (Laurie) and Russ (Brenda).  Stan also left a legacy of 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grand daughter. Grandchildren: Lauren, Jeff, Matt, Andy, Carter, Hayden and Zoe (Jon) | Ryan, Ross, Zach and Madeline (Chris) | Ashton and Austin (Russ) | Great grand-daughter Ascher Mae (Chris)
In addition to being a great man, father and grandfather, Stan was a standout baseball player at Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, UT and enjoyed hunting in his younger days.  Stan’s true life-long passion was golf and music.  He never passed up the opportunity to imitate Elvis Presley, whether it was in front of hundreds of people or just himself and a mirror. Stan also loved bowling, billiards, his beloved Denver Broncos and of course, his favorite dogs; Katrina and Bentley.  He was also a master at Tetris on his Nintendo machine, something he spent quite a bit of time with into his final days.
A visitation will be held at the Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel, 2701 Central Ave. NE Minneapolis, MN 55418 on April 8th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2335 Edgerton St. Little Canada, MN 55117.  For those that are unable to attend Friday night’s visitation, you can pay your respects from 10 – 11 a.m. at the church. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. Lucille migrated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1943 and later to Chicago, Illinois. After several years in Chicago, she decided to move to Gary, Indiana where she spent most of her adult life. In 2019, as her health began to change, Lucille moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to be near her children, where she remained until her heavenly transition. Lucille spent her working years in various capacities. She worked as a laundry attendant, at beauty shops, as a home health aide and in her later years as she sat and visited with friends and family members. They were looking for good care and companionship and Lucille was the one that was able to put a smile on their faces. Mother Lee was the true definition of Matriarch. Lucille was the mother of Mothers. She loved her children and dedicated her life to making sure they had what they needed. She loved many and her door was always open to the neighborhood family. She was known a Mrs. Lee to many, but Mother to all. She was loved by many and she loved them back. She loved them with the love of God, because she knew that God loved her. Lucille was proceeded in death by her parents, her oldest son Robert Lee Johnson, two brothers; Willie and Leroy, sister; Drucilla, granddaughter; Pamela Gatewood, son-in-law E.L. and dear friend Berthetta Morgan. She is survived by daughters; Ella Mae Gatewood (Memphis, Tenn.) Odessa (Vernon) Lee, Sheryl (Robin) Gray, sons; Rayfield (Karen) Lee and Ferdell Lee, all of Minneapolis, Mn. Lucille is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, three nieces, two nephews and a host of friends.

Frank is Preceded in death by his grandfather Mr. Stephen Yankey.
Frank attended Young Christian  elementary school, and Saint John’s high School in Takoradi-Ghana. He moved to the United States in November 2008 in seeking for greener pastures. Frank worked in the health field and factories until his sudden demise less than a minute from work. Frank had a love for music , and a sense of great style in fashion . He was very jovial , friendly , and loved his family dearly especially his mum.
He will be dearly missed by family and friends. Upon retirement he became a snowbird and spent his time between Texas and Minnesota. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria; children, William and Joseph. He is survived by second wife, Sue Kahoun; sons, John, Ted and Robert (Jennifer) and daughter, Julie. 10 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren. He was an inspiration to all who met him and a family resemblance that is no joke. Visitation 3 PM Weds, March 2nd with service at 4 at the Billman-Hun Chapel, 2701 Central Ave. NE. Private interment. Memorials preferred to the Edison Foundation and Mpls Fire Department Museum in lieu of flowers.
