Age 83, of Bethel Park, - Joan Marion Benincasa, fondly known to many as “Mrs. B”, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, at home. She was born on July 1, 1940 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of John M. Skinnell and Gayle V. Skinnell.
Joan was raised in Brookline and graduated from South Hills High School, Class of 1958 and went on to earn her degree in Dental Hygiene from West Liberty State College. She began her career as a dental hygienist where she met one of her handsome patients, Eugene R, Benincasa. Gene would become her husband of 60 years. Joan was very creative and loved to sew, paint, crochet, garden, cook and research family history. She was active within her community, and while her children were in school she served in several different capacities within the PTA advocating for many. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed tremendously.
Surviving in addition to her beloved husband, Eugene Benincasa, are her daughter, Rebecca (Robert) Henninger and son, Vincent (Carola) Benincasa; grandchildren, Alexandra Henninger , Zachary (Morgan) Henninger and Elizabeth Henninger, Kaelin Kost, Nicolas Benincasa and Chloe Benincasa; many nieces and nephews. Services will be private.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Cumo and his wife, Jackie; three sisters, Bernice Quinn, Florence Geibel, and Jeanne Kuczor; and many loving nieces and nephews. Archie is preceded in death by three sisters, Gloria Gooley, Theresa Antonelli, and Angeline Halagian; and his parents, Archibald and Amelia Cumo. Born to Serafino “Jimmy” and Anna Nicolella on June 13, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Louise was a cherished member of the Nicolella family, sister to Sandra Lee (John) Wyrostek and Anna Jane (Vince) Miskis. She spent her younger years as a Nicolella growing up on Jane Street in the South Side where she graduated from St. Casimir High School in 1960. The South Side is also where she met and married her beloved husband, the late Leo F. Gildea in 1964 creating the beginning of a shared life filled with love, family, and adventures. Louise’s love extended to her three children, Leo James (Ellen) Gildea, Lisa (Chris) Thompson, and Lori (Leonardo) Astacio who will forever remember her as a nurturing mother, full of grace, love, and compassion. Clara was educated in the Bethel Park School District.
Clara went on to obtain her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and worked for the Baptist Nursing Home for several years. She then went on to a Security position at Mellon Bank.
Clara enjoyed watching Steeler games with her children. She loved listening to music, playing cards, and above all attending church service.
Mom was funny, selfless, empathetic, and had a great heart. She loved us more than life itself.
Clara leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Gregory Sr.; three children, Selena Burrell of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Gregory Burrell Jr., and Rebecca Burrell both of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Barbara Taylor (Thomas) of Verona Pennsylvania and Joyce Clark (Robert) of Tionesta, Pennsylvania, and the late Priscilla Jones; one brother Donald Jones of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family.
Clara Louise Burrell completed the final chapter of her earthly life on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, when she traded time for eternity in the presence of The Lord.

Proceeded in death by her parents, Edward and Nellie (McKusick) Wozneak. Sister Judith Hill. Brothers Brian Wozneak and Gary Wozneak.
Joan was born in Bangor, Maine to Edward and Nellie (McKusick) Wozneak. As a self-taught artist who loved creating, Joan shined through her artwork. Another creative outlet that she excelled at was sewing. She made costumes for many dance companies, as well as one of a kind Barbie Doll outfits that not even the stores could compete against. Joan was devoted to her children and grandchildren and rarely missed the many activities that they were involved in.

Robert was the son of the late Al and Margaret Shetler.
Bob was a man of many trades. He was a Port Authority bus driver for more than 25 years. Prior to that, he served in the Army Reserves, and also worked as a Bread Truck Driver, Hair Dresser, Insurance Salesman, and Usher. He had a vast love for the outdoors. He frequently would take his family to state parks on Sundays after church. Bob was very passionate about golfing and Pittsburgh sports. He also enjoyed spending time with friends, gardening, swimming, and drawing. He was a friendly man who always said "Hi" to others and wanted to make sure you were doing ok! Bob will be dearly missed by all.

Her time outside was also spent camping in Pennsylvania with her family. Ilamae loved taking pictures of her family and friends and spending time photo shopping the memories. A 1981 graduate of Bethel Park High School and Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in business in 1985, she started her own cleaning company as well as spent many years working in the Hospitality Industry.
Anne was known for her quick wit, her kind and loving heart and her “emojis”. Much like her father, she had a knack for telling stories; “don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story”, Dad would say. Favorite indulgences included roller coasters, desserts-especially Crème Brûlée, and dogs. Anne had an infectious personality and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Obituary Preview: Paul E. Barbarich, Jr.
Age 62, of Pittsburgh, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Paul, born on September 3, 1960, was the second child and only son of Paul and Nancy Barbarich. In 1978, he graduated from Chartiers Valley High School. Paul enjoyed a wonderful, fulfilling career in the culinary arts. Amazingly, he was completely self-taught in his craft—he started as a bus boy and worked his way up to executive chef.
Paul’s career then took him to Florida for many years. While there, he was able to share his talents as an instructor at a culinary school, as well as, by hosting his own television cooking show. Ever humble and gracious, Paul tended to downplay his many talents and accomplishments. He had a strong but quiet, ever-present faith. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Paul is survived by his mother Nancy (Malley) Barbarich; sisters Janet (the late David Tharp) Barbarich Tharp, and Donna (Glenn) Walton; nephew of Pauline Javorsky, Kathy (the late John) Barbarich, Joan Barbarich, Marlene and Joe Santiago, and Dorothy and Ed Kalbus; nieces and nephews Matthew Walker Walton, Kayla Ann (Manny Torres) Walton, Laura Munger, Dusty Munger; great nieces and nephews Danielle Schanck, Mark Paul Schanck, Alita Rose Torres, and Thalia Noel Torres. Bill was born on July 7th 1931 in Halifax, VA to the late Elisha and Elizabeth Edmondson. He was the beloved husband of Rose Dingle Edmondson for 63 years until her death in 2014.Bill and Rose are survived by their five loving children Dona Edmondson (Najee Ibn -Vann) of La Place, LA, William Edmondson, Jr, of New Carrollton, MD, Dr Jean Harvey of Concord, NC, Teresa Edmondson of Washington, DC, and Shirley Edmondson of Santa Fe, NM. He was also the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren, Jennifer Lowery (Tony), Phillip, Ariel, Rashida, Nia, Erika, William, III, and Rodney. He was great-grandfather of four, Jacob, Zenani, Serena and London and two bonus great grandsons Michael and Jordan. He also leaves to mourn one sister, Marian Brazzeil of Mansfield Ct, and a close first cousin, Sally Creuzot of Houston, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He is predeceased by his sisters Sue Alice, Grace, Elizabeth, Mayme, and Lola.Bill earned his Bachelor of Arts in 1951 from Hampton University, where he was a member of the swim team and pledged the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. After marrying his college sweetheart, Rose, the family moved to Trenton, NJ where they raised their children while Bill worked in various management positions at U.S.Steel in Fairless Hills Pa. They later moved to Pitttsburgh, PA where Bill was Corporate Manager of Equal Employment Opportunity and Labor Relations for United States Steel Corporation. A member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity since 1950, Bill was active in various activities and roles, including serving on the board of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Federal Credit Union.Bill loved traveling the world with Rose, but especially enjoyed spending summers at their home in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, where he enjoyed golfing, swimming, boating, and fishing. He was an avid reader and enjoyed plays, jazz concerts and other cultural events.Arrangements by BEINHAUER.
