Mr. Pierce was born in Talladega, Alabama Graduated from Clay County High School; and later entered the United States Air Force where he served for 6 years active and reserve. During that time he worked in Tactical Aircraft Maintenance. He loved being outdoors, and enjoyed farming, fishing, and woodburning.
He is survived by his son, Travis Pierce of Mobile; his partner Suzianne Robinson Harris of Ashland; his mother Margie N. Harris of Ashland; his father, Freddie Pierce of Munford, one sister Delorise Pierce of Ashland; and one brother Sonny Pierce of Jasper, GA; and his beloved long-haired dachshund Chloe.

Mrs. Brown was born in Talladega County but had lived most of her life in Georgia and has lived in Clay County for over 30 years. Before her retirement she had worked as a seamstress at Bemiston in Talladega and also with G E Electric.
She is survived by nieces and nephew Glenn and Maxine Willoughby of Lineville and Janet Willoughby of Eastaboga and a small extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents Era L. Canada and Gaddie Vaughn Canada, one sister Iva Willoughby and a brother, Buster Carden. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Staff of Clay County Nursing Home Visitation will take place on Wednesday April 17, 2024 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 5 to 7 P.M. and until service time on Thursday

Mrs. Mae passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 in Anniston. She was an Alabama native and lived in Clay County all of her adult life. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren. Mae loved to cook and to do puzzles. Mae was devoted to the Lord and her church.
She was survived by her daughter, Patricia Chaddrick of Lineville; two sons, Leonard Wayne McCormick and wife Connie of Lineville and Douglas Edward McCormick of Lineville; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mrs. McCormick was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Garfield McCormick; parents, Elbert and Pearlie Archer; sisters, Laura Ruth Carr and husband Earl and Norma Jean Archer; brothers, Leander Archer and Leon Archer and wife Francis.
Active Pallbearers will be Dylan Chaddrick, Dylan Christy, Elijah Messer, Marty Jones, Larry Archer and Nicholas Floyd.

Obituary Preview: Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Kay Harris, age 98 of Lineville, will be held on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. John Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay County Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Harris passed away on April 7, 2024 at Lineville Health and Rehabilitation Center. Bonnie was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County, and a graduate of Lineville High School and member of Providence Methodist Church. She influenced many young lives during her 37 year career as a cashier at the Piggly Wiggly in Lineville. She was a devoted wife for over 70 years, loved spending time with her family enjoyed the Sunday night dinners long ago when all the family would gather round. She was a good listener and always concerned and cared about others especially her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Jonell Bishop (Doug) of Lineville and Brenda Wentz of Douglasville, Ga., one son Fred Harris (Mary) of Lineville, and four grandchildren, David Wentz (Rita), Annette Campbell (Scott), Scott Wentz (Donna) and Justin Bishop (Brandi), plus 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred M. Kay and Estelle Short Kay, her husband Jack Harris, two sisters, Edna Woods and Delta Vickers, and one infant brother.
Pallbearers will be Justin Bishop, Scott Campbell, David Wentz, Scott Wentz, Austin Wentz, and Gage Wentz.

Mr. McVey passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga. He was born in Alexander City, and lived most of his life between Clay County and some time in Florida. Mr. McVey worked as a pulpwooder, Truck Driver, and sawmill worker for several companies, including Dan Shaddix, Richard Kytan, Tommy Sellers and Bama Wood for most of his life. He enjoyed working on and tinkering with cars in his spare time, tending to his garden, and traveling with his late wife, Viola. He also raised several barnyard animals and loved to grill out and have fish fry’s. Mr. McVey had a great sense of humor, loved telling tall tales to his friends and family, and loved to hold conversations with anyone. He never met a stranger, and gave Southern Goodbyes.
Mr. McVey is survived by his daughters: Cindy Lacey (Johnnie) of Ashland and Wendy Prescott (Kenny) of Lake City, FL; his sons: John Scottie McVey and Rickey McVey, both of Alex City, Samuel Eugene “Dean” Brown of Talladega and Danny Brown of Ashland; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; one brother, William McVey (Luvinue) of Wadley, plus other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John C. McVey Sr. and Louise Strickling McVey; his wife, Viola Frances McVey; one granddaughter, Terri Jo Brown; and one brother, Charles Clifton McVey.
Active Pallbearers will be John Lacey, Timmy Noland, Ryan Noland, Aaron Prescott, Eric Prescott, Cody McVey, Christian Adams, and Rickey McVey.

She was a loving wife, mother, Meme, and sister. Rebecca passed away on April 5, 2024, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Ga.
Rebecca loved going to the beach and watching the sunrise while drinking her coffee and watching the sunset with her loving husband.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Isaac Knight and her three children Mechelle and Gene Parson, Ken and Erin Knight, and Tina and Paxton Shepherd-Bannister.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Jacob and Ellen Parson, Isaac Parson, Luke Parson, Drew and Kristin Wilson, Ian Bryant, Kyle Knight, Candace and Stoney Smith, Christal Wilson, Amber Knight, Nicholas Shepherd, Kristin and Blake Rigdon, and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by Bobbie Camp, her only sister from North Carolina.

Obituary Preview: Funeral Services for Mrs. Connie Smith McDonald, age 62 of Lineville, will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Barfield Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. John Howell and Rev. Mark Sprayberry officiating. Burial will follow at the Ashland City Cemetery.
Mrs. McDonald passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the Clay County Hospital. She was born in Ashland and had lived in Clay County all of her life. She attended Barfield School until 9th grade, and graduated from Lineville High School. She then attended Ayers College and obtained her nursing degree. Mrs. McDonald worked around 30 years in the healthcare field, working primarily at Clay County Hospital and the Clay County Nursing Home, but also briefly worked at several locations in Calhoun County as well. In her youth, she enjoyed sewing, riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, and going to the beach. As she grew older, Mrs. McDonald enjoyed spending time on the lake, going on a sunset boat ride, and cooking for and spending time with her family. She was the kindest and sweetest woman, had a good sense of humor, and was protective of her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Mrs. McDonald is survived by her husband of 44 years, John F. McDonald of Lineville; two sons: Aaron Wesley McDonald of Lineville and Corey Russell McDonald (Candy) of Wedowee; three grandchildren: Elijah, Braylon, and Dallon; two brothers: Jeffery Smith (Beverly) of Dadeville and John T. Smith (Lee) of Lineville, plus other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John Russell Smith and Waynette Graben Smith.
Active pallbearers will be  Mac Brown, Koby Johnson, Tony Graben, Andy Graben, Josh McDonald, Darrell McDonald, Mitchell Ennis, and Henry Ennis.
Braylon and Dallon McDonald will serve as honorary pallbearers.

She attended Lineville High School and starting working at the Burger Quick at the age of 19, which began a 35 year career at the local Lineville Restaurant. Mrs. Mitchell worked the counter, took orders and helped customers faithfully for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling her granddaughter, and was a caring and loving Wife, Mother, grandmother, and sister.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband of 33 years, Steve Mitchell; her children, Steven Mitchell and Stephanie Mitchell; Granddaughter, Malorie Mitchell; and her sister, Rhonda Yates, all of Lineville; plus a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Eugene and Mary Winola Cofield Mullinax.

Born Carolyn Zimmerman in Jefferson City, Missouri to Marvin and Mary Zimmerman she married Douglas Collins at 19 and had three children; Christine Candace, Suzanne Renee and Stephen Douglas. They lived in Florissant, Missouri for several years before moving to Tampa, Florida in 1978. She started working at Refectone where she met Walter Schwarzkopf who became the love of her life. They retired and moved to Alabama where she enjoyed gardening, canning and watching the hummingbirds.
She is survived by her companion of over 40 years, Walter Schwarzkopf; her children, Christine Hilden, Debbie Schwarzkopf and Donna (John) Nelson; grandchildren, Christopher, Tiffany, Melissa and Erica; great-grandchildren, Aylee, Paxton, Zadey, Laney, Elsie, Kevin, Kenneth and Kristopher and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two children, Suzanne and Stephen.

Terry Ellis McCormick - November 09, 1947 - March 24, 2024

Obituary Preview: Terry McCormick, age 76, of Lineville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones on Sunday March 24th, 2024, at Grandview Medical Center. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Union D. Baptist Church with Brother David Holcomb and Brother Lawrence Pate officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.
Terry was born on November 9,1947 and was the youngest of six children. He attended school at Union and Lineville High School then joined the Air Force in 1972. During his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was honorably discharged as an Airman first class after completing his term of service.
Terry returned to Clay County with his family and worked as a millwright for many years then worked as a driver for Ready Mix USA Concrete, where he retired. Mr. McCormick enjoyed gardening, watching NASCAR and the news, listening to Tradeline, and raising chickens and dogs. He was an avid Alabama football fan.
Terry’s family described him as fiery and agree that he lived his life exactly the way he wanted. He loved visiting with his family, especially his sister. He loved his sons and was happiest when he was with them, no matter where. His grandchildren remember his smiling face sipping coffee on the front porch every Saturday morning, the sound of his laughter as he taught them to drive on an old riding lawn mower, and the love that he showed to each and every great-grandchild.
Terry is survived by his two sons, Tim McCormick (Frances) of Lineville; and Shannon McCormick (Bridget) of Riverside; sister Bobbie Strickland of Ohatchee; granddaughters: Crystal Maguire, CPT, (Bobby, 1LT); Brooke Duhaime (Matthew); Holly Hurst (Neal); Hayley McCormick; Breanna Taylor (Taner); Jordan McVey; nine great-grandchildren and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Mr. McCormick is proceeded in death by his parents, Lee McCormick and Elverta Dover McCormick, his brothers Brenton McCormick, Eulis McCormick, Dan McCormick, and Doug McCormick.
Visitation will be from 10-11 AM at Union D Baptist Church before the service.
Pallbearers will be Travis Lee Strickland, Blake Shepard, Merrell Bell, Clint Jones, Mark McClellan, and Taner Taylor.

Mr. Paul Dick passed away on March 24, 2024. He was born on January 10, 1945 in Ashland, Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University and received a master’s degree from Montevallo. He had a 30 year career in education as a teacher, coach, and administrator. He enjoyed being a part of the 6th District Principal’s Association where he served one term as president.
Coach, as he was fondly known, was fun-loving and generous. He loved his Lord, his family, and his friends. Some of his favorite things were fishing, playing with his granddaughters, and most of all spending time with his wife.
Mr. Dick is survived by his wife, Mrs. Amelia Dick of Ashland; daughter, Allison Harris (Jason) of Marietta, GA.; two grandchildren, Caroline Harris, and Amelia Harris; two sisters, Agnes Grice of Columbiana, and Marvena Hammond of Auburn.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, William Herbert and Bonnie Dick; and one brother, Jack Dick.
Pallbearers will be Jason Harris, Jay Dick, Eddie Grice, Michael Dick, Eric Smith, and Chris Grice.
Visitation for Mr. Dick will be on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 12:30-2:00 P.M. at First Methodist Church of Ashland.

Obituary Preview: Funeral Services for Mrs. Cleo Sprayberry, age 90 of Delta, will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Delta Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Ted Embry and Rev. Clay Lovelady officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Sprayberry passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 at her home. She was born in Cleburne County, but had lived in Clay County since she was 16 years old. She spent her life dedicated to her husband, Vernon and raising her 6 children. Along with her husband, they ran a successful chicken business for over 47 years. Mrs. Cleo was considered a cornerstone and pillar of Delta Baptist Church, serving faithfully as a deacon’s wife, and Sunday school and Bible School teacher. She also served her community, often preparing food for families that had a death in the family, and even gathering local children to bring them to church every Sunday. Mrs. Sprayberry enjoyed cooking, gardening, and making quilts for her family. Mrs. Cleo was described as very funny, and always told you what she thought. She was loving, caring, patient, and hospitable to all, and loved her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings unconditionally.
Mrs. Sprayberry is survived by three daughters: Debra Robertson (Billy) of Lineville, Sharon Yates of Delta, and Cathy Barkley (John) of Lineville; one son, Ray Sprayberry (DeLois) of Oxford; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dora Mae Jennings of Pell City; one brother, L.V. Yates of Pell City, plus a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Alfred Grissom Paul Yates and Minnie Jane Mattox Yates; her husband, Vernon G. Sprayberry; two sons: Ronnie Mac and Ricky Sprayberry; one grandson, Brandon Camp; one sister, Lilye Gay Noel; and five brothers: Hoyt, Tom, Alford, Milton, and Eddie Lee Yates.
Galen Sprayberry, Will Sprayberry, Wade Sprayberry, Shane Short, Robbie Robertson, Adam Terrell, Aaron Boyd, Alan Boyd, and Logan Camp will serve as active pallbearers. Mrs. Cleo’s great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mrs. Porter passed away on March 20, 2024 at the Clay County Hospital. Deborah was a loving and giving lady, who always went out of her way for her family, community, and church family. She loved cooking and caring for those around her. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas when all her family came together. Her favorite song was by George Strait, “I cross my heart.” Her family and friends will remember the impact she made and the love she shared with everyone she met. Deborah was the kind of person to always give 100 percent in everything she did and thought that was never enough. Her time here may seem short to all the family, but she will always be remembered and cherished in their everyday lives.
Mrs. Porter is survived by her husband, David Porter of Lineville; two daughters, Breanna Smith (Nelson) of Dadeville, Lisa Griffin of Lineville; two sons, Jason Porter (Jackie) of Ashland and Jerry Porter (Teri) of Rainbow City; eight grandchildren, Chasity, Jessica, Garrett, Madison, James, Lori, Timothy, and Becca; and 8 great grandchildren; her mother, Jo Ann Lockridge; one sister, Judy Henderson of Lineville; one brother, Jimmy Patterson of Virginia; a large extended family and a host of friends.
Deborah is preceded in death by her father, V. W. Patterson; her step father, Jerry Wayne Lockridge; and an infant son, Jeffery Chandler Boynton.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Porter will be Jacob Porter, Daniel Morrison, James Griffin, Patrick Patterson, Chris Blackwell, and Nelson Smith.
Visitation will be held at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 5:30-8:00 P. M. and until one hour prior to service time on Saturday. She will Lie in state at the church for one hour.

Mr. Lynch is survived by his son, Phillip Lynch; grandchildren: Scott Mitchell, Renee Hurst(Todd), Kevin Lynch, Kristi Taylor, Beth Thornton and Ashley Johnson; 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Betty Shockley and Ann Friday; brother, Jack Lynch; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Lynch; parents, Homer and Edna Lynch; children: Deborah Lynch Kemp, Douglas Lynch, Teresa Lynch Haynes and Danny Lynch; grandson, Alexander Lynch and brother, Paul Lynch.
Pallbearers will be Scott Mitchell, Kevin Lynch, Eric Adams, Trent Smith, Todd Edwards and Antraun Williamson.

Mr. Stephens passed away on March 18, 2024. Merrill was born and raised in Randolph County and was a proud member of the 1961 Wadley High School undefeated state champion football team. He was a general contractor doing residential and commercial construction most of his life until he retired. He spent those retirement years farming back home in Alabama. Merrill also proudly served in the Army National Guard. Most importantly he loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Stephens is survived by his two daughters, Stephanie(Rodney) Railey of Wadley and Leigh Stephens of Pensacola, FL; three sons: Bradley Stephens of Gulf Shores, Gregory(Pam) Stephens of Lincoln and Brian(Mimi) Stephens of Wedowee; nine grandchildren: Jonathon Parker, Charlee Bolden, Krissy Root, Breanna Hopkins, Gregory Stephens, Jr, Jacob Hopkins, Mathis Stephens, Lauren Stephens and Logan Stephens; nine great-grandchildren: Nathan Caldwell, Kathryn Caldwell, Abbigal Caldwell, Zachary Hopkins, Romie Nelson, Melody Stephens, Huntley Stephens, Beckette Root and Krue Root; two sisters: Janet Hay of Wadley and Judy Railey of Cedartown, GA; one brother, Steve(Cindy) Stephens of Milton, FL; several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

John passed away on Friday March 15, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Clay County and attended Clay County High School. When he left high school he went to work for Wellborn and Legacy Cabinets. He then bought his own semi-truck and began driving. He enjoyed his logging career and was working for Barrnett logging. In his spare time he loved fishing, cooking in his cast iron skillets and grilling and spending time with his family. He was a very plain spoken man, who had no problem speaking his mind, but would give you the shirt off his back and help anyone that was trying to help themselves.
He is survived by his wife Amanda Williams of Talladega; two daughters, Candace Williams (Fiancé Collyan Billingsley) of Goodwater and Abigail Williams of Talladega; one son Devin Williams (Fiancé Brionna) of Ashland; parents, James and Geraldine Williams of Lineville; a sister Amanda Moore of Lineville; a brother JJ Williams (Lynn) of Ashland; and a host of extended family and friends.
Active Pallbearers will be Devin Williams, Collyan Billingsley, Dustin Moore, Cody Moore, JJ Williams, and Dewayne Mitchell.

Mrs. Poore passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Clay County Hospital. She was born and raised in Clay County and was a lifelong resident. She worked at D&L Auto Parts in Carrollton, Georgia, but primarily worked for Wellborn Cabinets for several years until she retired. Mrs. Poore enjoyed tending to her garden and her flowers, as well as mining and collecting Gemstones. She had a big, caring heart, and loved spending time with her family as often as she could. Mrs. Poore attended Delta Independent Church.
Mrs. Poore is survived by three sons: Larry Poore (Chasity) of Bowdon, GA, Kevin Poore and Chris Poore (Heather), both of Lineville; five grandchildren, Tiffany Harper(Ben), Amanda Buchanan(Dustin), Heather Summey(Scott), Mackenzie White(Daniel) and Madison Houston; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters: Debra Morris (Wayne) of Lineville, Kay Boyd of Munford, and Donna Gortney (Phil) of Ashland; two brothers: Bruce Boyd (Jo) of Lineville and Michael Boyd (Tammy) of Ashland; and a large extended family.

Donny Jolly Sr was born in Illinois and moved to Ashland Alabama to live out the rest of his wonderful life. Donny lived in Ashland for 30 plus years. Donny Jolly Sr was a veteran of the US Army, a tank operator and stationed in Germany for a few years as well. Donny Jolly Sr loved his country and put his life on the line for it. Donny Jolly Sr was a very handy man, he worked construction and remodeled homes. He also was a
mechanic and really enjoyed rebuilding older vehicles and giving them to his family that needed a vehicle. Donny Jolly Sr was a very proud father, grandfather and great grandfather. He also really enjoyed spending time traveling and visiting his grandson Ted who is in the USMC.
Donny Jolly Sr is survived by his daughter, Josie Fern Jolly, and his two sons Donny Jolly Jr, and John Jolly and a multitude of grandchildren and great- grandchildren as well as his siblings, Thomas Wayne Shaddix, John Jolly, Ricky Shaddix and a very large extended family that Donny Jolly Sr really loved and enjoyed spending time with as well as telling stories about his family. Donny Jolly Sr was very big on family and the valves of family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Hershel Shaddix, Violet Fern Shaddix, his grandson Justin Jolly and sister, Shirley Aaron Dunnagan.

Mrs. Velez was born and raised in Puerto Rico until 2006 when she moved to Alabama. While in Puerto Rico, she was a seamstress by trade, but also was active in the humane society, and was a volunteer with the municipal courts and mayor of the city of Caguas. She was eventually given the key to the city, and became an adopted daughter of Caguas, Puerto Rico for her civic contributions. Mrs. Velez even wrote a poem to the city. Her family always knew her as a talented writer and had a love of reading. Her family reflects on her amazing ability to cook, spending time outside and appreciating nature. Her hallmark was her smile, and no matter how sick she may have felt, she always had a smile on her face. Mrs. Velez was also a faithful woman who loved serving the Lord. She was a devoted wife for over 60 years and a caring mother to her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Velez is survived by her daughters; Elba L. Roman Ocasio of Oxford, Elena V. Roman Ocasio of Cropwell, and Sonia Velez of Wedowee; her son, Ivan A. Roman Ocasio of Wedowee; her grandchildren: Sara Roman, Anna Roman, Kannon Reeves, Carolina Torres, Edgar Torres, Angel Roman, Pedro Torres; six great grandchildren;; and a brother, Sebastion Ocasio Velez of Puerto Rico.

Mrs. Roberts was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved south in 2005. As a child of the Great Depression she understood the value of life and family. She was honest, hard-working, focused and dedicated. She accepted Jesus in 1974 and truly showed the love and acceptance that can only come through that transformation. Mom was kind and loved to laugh and adored her children and especially her grands.
She was survived by her children, Francine Keller, David Simko, Michelle Simko and Rick Roberts; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Flo Hart; also several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fred L. Roberts, a son Claude Cripple and several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Hayden was born in Alabama and lived in Talladega most of his life. After high school Tom proudly served in the US Marines for 8 years and eventually retired from the Anniston Army Depot. He was an outdoorsman at heart and loved the lake cabin. He loved hunting and fishing and trips to Cades Cove. Tom was a woodsman in every way, cutting and milling lumber to handcraft furniture, especially chests for graduations and wedding gifts.
Tom is survived by his wife, Dorrie Hayden; children, Thomas Hank Hayden, Jr(Cat), Dale Lee Mitchell(Lisa) and Michael Gene Mitchell(Tommie); grandchildren, Nathan, Madison, Ryley Jo and Gavin Hayden, Sarah(Brandon) Thornton, Tyler(Madison) Mitchell, Dalton(Ashley) Mitchell, Abigail(Jessie) Castleberry and Arron(Bailey) Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Jaxin, Jace, Sadie, Maddie, Boone, Thornton, Kash, Kross, Kase and Waylon; siblings, James Warren Hayden(Connie), Joe Torrey Hayden, Bessie Leach Parks, Bob Langdon Hayden(Nancy), William Bill Andy Anderson Hayden(Rhonda) and Allie Jim Pearson(Sam); as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Russo passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Lineville Health and Rehab. Mr. Russo was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and lived there most of his life. He entered into the U.S. Marine Corps out of High School, reached the rank of SGT, and was based in Okinawa, Japan. Once out of the military, he worked briefly for I.T.T. in Chicago where he met his wife, Arlene, and also worked for Stuart Warner Manufacturing as a purchasing agent, and for Mercury Metal Products in Schaumburg, Illinois. Mr. Russo and his wife settled in Naples, Florida after retirement. Mr. Russo enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family. He was an avid Chicago Sports fan, coached and taught his son hockey when he was younger, and even attempted to play in the Major Leagues. Mr. Russo was a funny and goofy man, but was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather.
Mr. Russo is survived by two children: Kimberly Russo Luczynski (John) of Venice, FL and Vincent L. Russo Jr. (Rhonda) of Lineville; His grandchildren: Taylor Correa (Carlos), Luke Jaconis (Summer Pliskow), Stephen Drwal, Carmen Russo (Jordan Landers), Andrew Haynes, and Joshua Haynes (Victoria); three great-grandchildren: Camila Correa, Winter and Zepplin Haynes.

Although, his life was short here on earth Randall left a huge impact on everyone who loved him.
