But none of this compares to the love he had for his children. He was a constant force in their lives. He raised 5 children, one by birth and 4 by choice. His guidance as a parent was always accompanied by heartfelt lectures on life, hoping to instill in them goals and values.

He is lovingly remembered by his family, including his mother, Hugette; his siblings, Chantal, Marie Andre, Soraya, Soumara, Josephine, Joana, and Harry Mayard Bazin; his children and stepchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who were blessed to have been a part of his journey.

On April , 2024 Ralph Maynard passed away suddenly. He will be lovingly remembered by his family, including his daughter: Jennifer Gilbert; His stepchildren: Sophia, Beatrice, Affricka(deceased) and Gregory. He was so attached to his mom, and he missed the comforts of home and consequently returned home in his sophomore year. Upon returning to South Florida, he completed his bachelor’s degree at Nova Southeastern University in Business Communications. Andre had a variety of positions in his field but found the most satisfaction in working with kids at the elementary level as an after-school caregiver and mentor.

He embraced life with zest and enthusiasm and was determined to live it his way. He was a simple man yet very tenacious, a person of strong integrity and opinions.

Although he has departed from this life so soon, In the end, it is not the years in life that matter but the life in the years. Andre lived his life to the fullest and touched our lives, leaving us with beautiful memories and the love he shared.

Delicious aromas always filled the air, and her culinary skills were unmatched. She delighted everyone who would visit with mouthwatering meals, leaving a legacy of love through food and family get-togethers.

Edith also had a green thumb, and her home was always filled with a variety of plants that she enjoyed tending to. She displayed them proudly in her family room where she would show them off to visitors. Her favorite plants were orchids which bloomed in vibrant hues, mirroring the beauty of her spirit. But more than anything else, her greatest joy came from making her family happy. She was the kind of mom who welcomed all her children’s friends with open arms. Her house was a gathering place, where laughter echoed, and friendships blossomed.

She was a devoted mother to her three children: Carlos, Tony, and Bertha. Her love knew no bounds, and she instilled in them the values of compassion, kindness, and perseverance. Bernadette Lee, Paul Chik and Jeanette Wong, and Loretta Chik and Wilson Au-Yeung. His legacy continued through his grandchildren, Cecil, Veronica, Alex, Thomas, Lawrence, Matthias and their respective spouses, and his cherished great- granddaughter, Lonnie. Each family member was a testament to Grandpa's guiding

principles and love. Grandpa's interests were simple yet filled with joy. His greatest pleasure is witnessing the warmth and joy of family gatherings. He was also an avid mahjong player and enjoyed his favorite treats—a French toast from IHOP and a bagel with butter from Panera. His big smile and expressive eyes were a constant fixture, never wavering even amidst the boisterous gatherings that often filled the family home. He was the heart of every celebration, the steadfast strength in times of need, and the wise counsel in

moments of doubt. To describe Grandpa as loyal, honest, and a man of integrity is barely scratching the surface of his existence. His wisdom was shared generously, often tacitly through the example he set in his daily life. His thoughtfulness was seen in the careful attention he paid to the needs and dreams of those around him. His selflessness was evident in the way he put his family's welfare above his own, ensuring that they had opportunities far

Ms. G was a songbird who loved to sing, whether it was in the church choir or while going about her daily tasks. She also found joy in reading, traveling and creating unforgettable memories.

On February 12, 2024, Ms. G passed away peacefully. She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories. her seven children: Sharon (Lloyd), Karleen (Kenneth), Nadeen, Garfield, Desrene (Hugh), Wayne, and Nicola; her brothers Oscar (New York) and Trevor (Jamaica); her sister Dionne (Jamaica); twenty-one grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and let’s not forget the scores of children she nurtured through the years, as well as a host of other grieving family members and friends.

We shall not say goodbye but rather, until we meet again, or Au revoir, for Ms. G's spirit will forever dwell in the hearts of those she touched.

His intention was to join the military but his mother, a Jehovah’s Witness, taught him the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Henry soon abandoned his intention of serving in the military and became a servant of Jehovah instead. He was baptized on

June 4, 1960. In September 1960, Henry met Mildred O’neal at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. They married on December 14, 1960 and raised five children together (two daughters and three sons). In the mid 1960s, a congregation was needed in the north Dade area of Miami-Dade County and the Bunche Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses was founded. Henry was appointed to congregation servant and was the first to lead with this title at the Bunche Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses (now known as the Honey Hill Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses). Until his passing on February 2, 2024, Henry was the eldest of the four remaining original members of the Bunche Park Congregation of

Jehovah’s Witnesses. For a short period of time, Henry worked as an orderly for Jackson Memorial Hospital. On January 23, 1985, Henry gained employment with the City of Opa Locka’s Water & Sewer Department. He started as a meter reader and advanced to the position of a meter reader supervisor. Henry worked as a dedicated

employee for the City of Opa Locka’s Water & Sewer Department until his retirement on June 30, 2002. After retirement, Henry became a regular pioneer in the Honey Hill congregation. He was very influential in the ministry and aided others to become faithful servants of Jehovah. Henry was extremely knowledgeable about the scriptures and was often referred to as a walking encyclopedia of biblical knowledge. He was an honest man that led by example. He was an elder, a confidant and father figure

to many. Henry was not a man of many words but when he spoke it was words of wisdom. Henry’s pastimes included reading, walking, watching his favorite television shows- Judge Judy and Wheel of Fortune. When family gatherings were held, Henry was the designated grill master. He loved spending time with his beloved Mildred and had an unquestionable love for his family. His children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren adored the quality time he spent with them. In fact, the great

grandchildren received the best side of Papa, as he was affectionally called. Henry Henderson is survived by his wife Mildred Henderson, his five children (Sonya Henderson, Henry Morris Henderson Jr., Zerald Henderson Sr. (Patrice), Melissa Henderson (aka Lisa), and Carlos Henderson (Tanya), his eight grandchildren (Tashara Alleyne, Travarri Johnson, Tia Ford (Courtney), Ziandra Henderson, Zerald Henderson Jr., Justin Ponder, Jaslyn Henderson, and Jamal Henderson), eight

great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. His siblings include Abdul El-Amin (A.K.A.

Lorenzo), Raymond Cummings Sr., and Prudence Williams.
