Casey fell asleep in death on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 3:57 a.m. in the care of the medical staff of the Foster G. McGaw Hospital of Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.
Casey was preceded in death by his father, Georgette Roby; and one brother, Wade Collins;.

Paul accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church.  He was educated in the Birmingham and Bessemer, Alabama Public Schools System.
Paul met and married his wife, Annie Ruth Owens in 1968.  They later migrated to Chicago, Illinois in search of greater opportunities.  He diligently sought and was able to successfully gain employment with the Ford Motor Company where he went on to work for many years. Paul enjoyed and was very passionate about cooking, coin collecting and horror movies.  He was an avid fisherman and was very well known for his outgoing, jovial and quite mischievous personality.  His laughter would brighten and make your day.  Paul was very proud of and dedicated to his children and grandchildren.  They were truly his “heartbeats” and loved them dearly.  He displayed that affection as he doted on them all the time!
Paul made his transition peacefully at home on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at 11:10 p.m.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney James and Julia Densmore-Allen; his wife, Annie Ruth; two (2) sisters, Ms. Frankie Dee Allen, Mrs. Alberta Copeland and a brother, Mr. George Lee Allen.

Cecil attended Kenwood High School in 1975 and then enrolled in the Army in 1980. After serving his country, Cecil entered the workforce as a welder for well over a decade. Cecil loved his family working various jobs to provide for them. Cecil happily married Mary LynnPaytonin 1995 afterbeing together for10 years. In 1997, he went back to school and studied to be a computer repair technician where he built and repaired laptops and home computers for family, friendsand business associates. Cecil was never one to shy away from a challenge. He was sure to keep the environment competitive playing dominoes, 1500, softballand basketball. Cecil also spent time as a head basketball coach of his kid’s middle school team and volunteered as a park district baseball coach, leading his boys to championships. Cecil met Tracie Sanders in 2003 and welcomed his son Trevon into the world. Cecil had a very kind heart and compassionate spirit. He joined the church ministry later in his life in which he spent a lot of his time serving the church. He stressed the importance of faith, loveand prayer. Cecil made his transition on Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 at 8:35 a.m. Cecil was preceded in death by his father, Everettand his mother, Eva. He is remembered by his six children:Jaunche, Adonus, Cecil Jr., Justin, Trevon andPierre, his brothers: Charles, Kenneth, David, Dean andMichael, 13 grandchildrenand a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Obituary Preview: Renita Collins Patterson was born on February 20, 1962 in Chicago, IL to the late Leon and Gertrude Collins. She was the eldest daughter of five children born to this union, and was preceded in death by her oldest brothers, Kenneth and Ronald.
Renita attended John C. Haines Elementary School and graduated from Dunbar Vocational High School in 1980. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago in 1984. She worked in corporate banking for over 15 years until she made the decision to pursue her true passion: teaching. In 2002, she enrolled at National Louis University, and she received her Master of Arts degree in Education in 2004. During her years of employment as a teacher, Renita mainly taught middle school math. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Renita also readily taught other subjects, including social studies and literature. But her favorite subject to teach, by far, was math. She truly loved teaching and had an infectious passion for learning. She loved all of her students, and her students loved her right back!
Outside the classroom, Renita also honed her teaching skills on her two daughters, Ashlee and Alexandria. She liked to call them her “first students.” In her lessons with them, Renita stressed the importance of faith, love, respect and responsibility. Her most treasured lesson: stay true to yourself. Renita loved to talk and had an opinion about everything. She listened with a gentle and attentive ear. One of her favorite things to do was to crack jokes, and she never passed up an opportunity to make others smile. Renita loved to laugh. Her laughter was comforting, and you could hear it from a mile away!
Renita loved her family and friends, and her love will live on in the hearts of her daughters, Ashlee (Alan) and Alexandria. Her memory will be cherished by her sister Veronica and her brother Mark, along with a host of treasured family members, friends, and students.

Patricia Ann Washington was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 1, 1954 to the parents Oscar and Mae (Hall) Washington.
Patricia accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at Mt. Eagle Baptist Church.  Later on, she transferred her membership and united with Straightway Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Earnest Franklin.  On the Minister’s Board in 2002, Patricia walked into her prophetic calling.
Patricia was educated in the Chicago Public Schools system graduating from Calumet High School in 1972.  Patricia later decided to continue her studies attending Pivot Point Academy and became a Certified Beautician and worked at Emory’s Beauty Salon in downtown Chicago.  Upon Patricia’s retirement from hair care, she then devoted her time and energy to being a very active member of Amos Alonzo Stagg School’s Parent Teacher Association, also even serving as President from the time her children attended. Mom was always a sarcastic character, but very loving.  “SHE DIDN’T PLAY…!”  She loved her family; especially doting on all five (5) of her grandsons.  Mom had the biggest hands that would swipe across our back from a distance! LoL  Mom would always say to us, “I love you so much!” Evangelist Patricia A. Washington was a strong willed individual and truly exemplified the walk of “A Soldier in the Army of The Lord”!  After facing many health challenges, Patricia with no symptoms, developed COVID in April of 2020 and even suffered two debilitating strokes.  Patricia kept on living and was determined to NEVER give up.  Patricia fought with all that was within her until she suffered her third stroke on July 31, 2020.  She was then placed in hospice care and ten (10) days later, on August 10, 2020 @ 7:10 a.m., very peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family at home, The Master whispered in Evangelist Patricia Ann Washington’s ear, “Well done, good and faithful servant; enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mae Washington; her sister, Alice Williams; her brother, Charles Washington and her son-in-love, Eric Powell.
Patricia Ann Washington leaves to forever cherish her fond memories her two daughters, Michelle (Shon) Whitton and Charlene Powell; five grandsons, Lagaryus Bonney, Peter Lee, Jr., Adrian Morris, Jr., Tyrese Mitchell and Caleb Powell; five sisters, Marva Davis, Valerie Gaines, Darlene Washington and Diane (Greg) Jaudon; a loving brother, Oscar Washington, III; special friend and home care provider, Arthur Ingram; friends, Pamela King and Gayl Horton and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Patricia will be greatly missed, yet will forever live on in our hearts!

RONALD LOVED THE NEIGHBORHOOD HE WAS RAISED IN. HE SPENT MUCH OF HIS TIME AS A YOUTH AT KENWOOD UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST. FROM YOUTH TO ADULTHOOD RONALD’S PERSONALITY ATTRACTED MANY PEOPLE. HE LEFT HIS MARK ON ALL HE KNEW. HE WAS A LEGEND IN HIS COMMUNITY WHERE HE WAS LOVINGLY KNOWN BY MANY AS FOOTS, WHEAT GRASS RON, PAW PAW, GRANDPA RONALD AND POPS. HE WILL TRULY BE MISSED.
RONALD WAS LOVINGLY DEVOTED TO HIS EQUALLY DEVOTED LIFE PARTNER LORETTA “LO” BARNETT.
RONALD WAS A FAMILY MAN AND HIS GREATEST JOY IN LIFE WAS BRINGING LAUGHTER TO HIS LOVED ONES. ALL OF HIS SONS, NEPHEWS AND GRANDSONS CAN ATTEST TO HIS CONSTANT PROVOCATION. HE WAS VERY PROTECTIVE OF ALL THE WOMEN IN HIS FAMILY AND THEY ALL KNEW THAT NO MATTER WHAT, IF THEY NEEDED ANYTHING, RONALD WOULD BE THERE. HE WAS A PROVIDER AND A TEACHER. THE LESSONS HE TAUGHT WERE VALUABLE AND HE ALWAYS FOCUSED ON FAMILY.
RONALD HAD MANY GIFTS. ONE OF HIS GREATEST GIFTS WAS ACTING AS A COUNSELOR. HE HAD A UNIQUE ABILITY TO MAKE EVERYONE FEEL LIKE THEY WERE THE TOP PRIORITY. WHETHER IT WAS FAMILY OR FRIENDS HE WOULD TAKE TIME TO MAKE YOU FEEL SPECIAL. WE WERE ALL HIS FAVORITES.  HE HAD A FUN-LOVING SPIRIT WITH A LAUGH THAT FILLED THE ROOM.  HIS SENSE OF HUMOR KEPT EVERYONE SMILING.
RONALD WAS THE CONSUMMATE PRANKSTER AND KEPT YOU ON YOUR TOES.  YOU DIDN’T WANT TO BE HIS OPPONENT WHEN HE PLAYED SPADES OR BID WHIST.  HE TOOK JOY IN BEATING YOU, SLAPPING THAT WINNING CARD ON THE TABLE AND RUBBING IT IN WITH HIS SIGNATURE LAUGH.
RONALD HAD A GIVING HEART, YET HE NEVER FELT THE NEED TO BROADCAST HIS GOOD DEEDS.
YOU COULDN’T ASK FOR A BETTER SOUL MATE, FATHER, GRANDFATHER, BROTHER, UNCLE, COUSIN OR FRIEND. RONALD WAS A CLASSIC WITH A PRESENCE THAT WAS UNDENIABLE.
RONALD WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PARENTS ROBBIE AND TONY EDWARDS, HIS LOVING SISTER AND ONE OF HIS BEST FRIENDS, TONI EDWARDS-BARNETT AND SON JAMAL EDWARDS.

William was preceded in death by both parents and one sister, Laura Bymun. William attended Robert S. Abbott Elementary School and graduated from Wendell Phillips Academy High School.  He then entered the workforce holding several
factory jobs until his health began to fail. William loved his family, sports and dancing.  He was very competitive and if you ever asked him, he never lost!
William fell asleep in death on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 10:17 a.m. in the care of the Intensive Care staff of Mercy Hospital & Medical Center.
William leaves to celebrate his life: three birth children, Sheena, William and Marquisha and a special son Anthony Vivians (since the age of 3), one brother, Andrew Bymun, one sister, Loretta Bymun, grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, a special friend, Gloria Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Obituary Preview: Patti Jo Robinson
Patti Jo was born on November 24, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio to Mabel and Willie Joe Robinson.  In her younger years, Patti attended Paderewski Elementary and Robert Burns Middle School.  She graduated from Farragut Career Academy in 1974where she excelled in tumbling and swimming.
Patti Jo confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at the early age of 14 at Coston Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Arnie Rayford.
Patti Jo worked for Brach’s Candy Company for nearly 32 years.  She was the backbone of the company and led her team with passion and professionalism.  Once her tenure was over at Brach’s, she worked for Rachel’s Bus Company.  Again, she became the center of the company and led with excellence.  After 9 years with Rachel’s, she decided to stay home to help care for her mother.  Not only did Patti Jo care for her mother, she also became the “Guru” of babysitting!  Patti baby-sat for her nieces and for her daughter.
Patti Jo also dabbled in comedy!  She always had a quick punch line and had jokes for days! Her laugh was contagious and her smile was infectious.  Patti Jo battled Lupus and departed this life on March 7, 2020.  Her father, niece Terrece, and equally funny and amazing mother, Ms. Mabel, preceded her in death.

Mary Frances Savage - May 28, 1929 - October 29, 2019

Obituary Preview: Mary Frances Savage was born to Mary Elaine Owens on May 28, 1929 in Nashville, Tennessee.  Mary had one brother, Thomas Waddy who preceded her in death.  She confessed her life to Christ at an early age under the care of her Aunt Dear who raised Mary after the passing of her mother.
Mary moved to Chicago in 1947 where she met Harold Savage.  The two got married in the Spring of 1953.  Mary is preceded in death by Harold and her sons Albert and Larry.
In 1965, Mary met David Gant.  From this relationship her sons, Derrick and Kenneth Gant were born.
Mary worked for Frigid Meat Packing Company in the mid 1970’s.  In 1983, Mary decided to explore her career opportunities by attending “The Career Academy” in downtown Chicago where she completed the Nurses Assistant Training Program.
Mary was an exceptional student and received all A’s in her nursing assistant courses.  In April of 1983, Mary was awarded the Certificate of Excellence for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).  From 1985 – 1995, Mary provide home care services to bedridden patients.  Mary enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with her family.
Mary leaves behind her sons, Eric and Anthony (Deadre) Savage, Derrick and Kenneth (Linda) Gant and her only daughter, Denise Savage; Grandchildren, Tina, Renee, Myisha, Kimyl, Kyna, Yolanda, Antonio, Anthony, Antoine, Cordale, Toni, Latevice, Kenneth, Breantia and sixteen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
