Over the many years, she would always invite her nieces and grandchildren over to bake. We always thought "how many kids can Grandma fit in this kitchen." Grandma's love is a force to be reckoned with, it's a flame that never dies, a light that never dims. She loves us through thick and thin, through joy and sorrow, through loss and win. Her love is a constant in a world so uncertain, Grandma's love is a blessing that's truly certain. Our mom also treasured times spent at Old Sturbridge Village and at the movies. Granted her taste in movies was always questionable, it was always humorous to hear what she thought was "good."
It's incredibly hard to sit here and attempt to write a proper/worthy obituary only 24 short hours after holding her hand while she transitioned from this life to the next. Only 7 days after having a long and enjoyable conversation about how excited she was to give her grandchildren their Christmas presents this year and go to Mark's annual Christmas Eve party. It's not fair and it's hard to make sense of it all. I want to thank everyone who has reached out to offer condolences and support during this time; the family appreciates it.
Services will be private.
