Wayne was born June 6, 1943 to Warren and Lucille (Burns) Taubman. Wayne was preceded in death by his father.  His mother Lucille currently lives in Elgin, IL.  Wayne is survived by his wife: Kathy, Son: Wayne Jr. (Sharon) Taubman of Kinnelon, NJ; sisters: Charlene Klein and Debbie Hitchings. Dear friend and kidney donor: Ken Hansen and his wife Shari of East Moline, IL.

Obituary Preview: Mesa – Kenneth N. Johnson, 70, of Mesa, passed away Thursday. Jan. 25, 2018 at 2:43pm, at Banner Gateway Medical Center, Mesa while surrounded by family. Born April 6, 1947, in California, PA, he was the son of the late Roy and Dorthey Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Phil and David Johnson, his first wife Dana Johnson and their son Nathaniel (Nate) Johnson. Ken loved serving God and loved attending Bible study with his wife Teresa. He retired from Mesa Public Schools after nearly 22 years of teaching and coaching. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed working out, working in the yard, coaching and playing with his 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Johnson; children, Jennifer Stoltz and husband John, Royce Johnson and wife Sheryl, Jimmy Hammond and wife Shane, Chelsea Spier and husband Michael and son Nick Landwehr; 13 grandchildren, Dustin Stoltz, Coleburn Stoltz, Savannah Stoltz, Nathaniel Johnson, Dominique Johnson, Mackenzie Johnson, Stryker Johnson, Peyton Johnson, Caitlyn Hammond, Mackenzie Hammond, Joe Spier, Ellie Spier and Maycie Spier; and two great-grandchildren, Abel and Beckett Stoltz. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Culver; and three brothers, John Johnson, Bob Johnson and Mike Johnson and lots of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at the house of Jennifer and John Stoltz located at 9302 E. Sleepy Hollow Rd, Mesa, AZ 85207. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at All Saints Catholic Church located at 1534 N. Recker Rd., Mesa, AZ 85205 In leu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Red Mountain High School, Nate Johnson Memorial Scholarship Foundation.  Checks can be made out to Red Mountain High School, please put “Nate Johnson Memorial Scholarship” in the memo.  Please send checks to: Attention: Secretary
