Chester died November 28, 2018. He was 90 years old, the first son of Chester and Mary Patrick of Akron, Ohio.
He was educated at St. Martha's Grade School in Akron, Ohio, St. Charles Seminary in Catonsville, Maryland, The University of Akron and The University of Michigan. Chester was a music teacher and organist all of his career. He taught at all education levels - K thru University PhD level. He retired from the Nordonia Hills, Ohio School District.
He was greatly admired by many for his integrity, intelligence, musical ability, and everyday helpfulness. Though not blustery about it, his entire life was based on his deep faith in God.
He will be forever loved by his wife, Patricia, and his children: Cecily (Brian) Lanier, Sheryl (Jeff) Grace, Joseph (Gerardo Castro), and Grandsons Thomas and Peter Grace. He is the brother of Rita McFadden and the late Leonard Patrick.

Obituary Preview: It is with deep sadness that the family of Kenneth E. Schley announces his unexpected passing on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. The most important thing to Ken was spending time with his extended family. He loved his kids, step kids and his grandkids. He loved the family gatherings where we could hang out together, those are the times he cherished. He also enjoyed golfing, traveling, bible studies and his ministries.
He was preceded in death by one of his 2 loves of his life, Ruth; parents, Estel and Gaynell Schley; brother, Clay Schley and granddaughter, Cassandra Schley-May. Ken leaves to cherish his memory with, Eileen Schley (wife), children; Doug, Renee Schley-May (James), Craig Schley (Lori) and Clayton, step children; Karen Lynch, Dyan Machan (Johan de Meij), David Machan and Bill Machan, grandchildren; Lyndsey Schley and Benjamin Schley-May; and many other relatives and friends.

Obituary Preview: Thomas N. Tipton, Sr., a retired Cuyahoga Falls Detective.
Tom was born August 13, 1949 in Barberton, OH, was raised in Cuyahoga Falls and graduated from Falls High in 1968. He entered the US Marine Corps in 1972 and married Linda Ralston that same year. In 1981 Tom became a Cuyahoga Falls police officer and retired as a detective in 1992 due to heart issues that ultimately took his life on April 11th, in Denton, TX, where he had lived for the past 15 years. Tom loved Jesus and was honored to lead two bible studies in Texas. He enjoyed golf and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. Tom leaves behind his wife Linda; son and daughter-in-law Tom Jr. and Elizabeth; the pride and joy of his life were his three granddaughters Katherine, Emily, & Caroline;
