Carrie W. Bolin - September 14, 1930 - April 14, 2022

Obituary Preview: Carrie W. Bolin left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 14, 2022. She was born in Lamar Township, Clinton County on September 14, 1930, to James (Elmer) and Elsie Weaver.  Carrie was united in marriage on June 20, 1952, to Darrell W. Bolin who preceded her in death on April 18, 1998.
She was a graduate of Lock Haven High School in 1948. From 1948 through 1952 she worked in the office of the New York and Pennsylvania Company which later in 1965 was sold to Hammermill Paper Company.
Carrie had been a lifetime member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ. For many consecutive years she read the Bible cover to cover knowing full well it was an acronym for Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth.
Survivors include her sons; Douglas (Mary Jo) Bolin, Darrell J. Bolin, Dwight (Deb) Bolin, and Delmas (Leena) Bolin. Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Michelle Bolin, Samantha Bolin, Shannon (Tyler) Walker, Nicholas Bolin, John Bolin, Jennifer (Bryan) Foster, Kristin (Daniel) Comune, and Kimberly (Charles) Reed III and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Carrie Bolin will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM. in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, PA 17745.  Officiating will be Pastor Mark Riley from the Flemington Church of Christ. Interment will be at the Snowshoe Church of Christ Cemetery.

Doris J. Van Horn - February 18, 1949 - April 12, 2022

Obituary Preview: Doris J. Van Horn, 73, of Lock Haven passed away on April 12, 2022 at Manor Care, Jersey Shore.   She was born in Lock Haven on February 18, 1949 to Howard and Esther Bletz Day.
Doris was a graduated of the Lock Haven High School.  Doris had been employed by Keystone Central School District in the custodial department from which she had retired.  She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Van Horn and daughter Melissa Van Horn, two granddaughters: Chelsa and Brittany Miller.  She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Van Horn Jr.

John Boyd Bryerton - April 26, 1941 - April 06, 2022

Obituary Preview: John Boyd Bryerton, 80, of Sylvan Drive, Lock Haven, PA passed away April 6, 2022, at the Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital Emergency Room. John was born, April 26, 1941, in Bradford, PA. He was the son of the late Jack B and Nancy Elizabeth Kiser Bryerton. He was married in 1969 to Lana G Drake Bryerton who survives.
John graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1959, he graduated in 1961 from the Valley Forge Military Academy.  He also graduated in 1964 from Tri-State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
John started to work at Piper Aircraft in 1964 as an engineer and held several positions including Designer, Project Manager and Chief Systems and Equipment Engineer.  He is also a holder of two US patents.  When Piper closed, John was employed by Lock Haven University for a short time as an Instructor for Engineering Graphics.  In 1986 he joined Schweizer Aircraft as a designer to develop the helicopter turbine engine installations for the Schweizer/Sikorsky model 330.  John and several former Piper Engineers formed and engineering consulting company in 1980, General Aviation Technical Services (GATS).  John became the sole owner of GATS in 1994 and company went on to design, and FAA certify the Gavilan airplane for a company located in Bogota, Columbia.
John is best known for his love of cars and restoration of a 1934 Pontiac and a 1930 Ford Model A.  John was a private pilot with multi engine rating and was an FAA Designated Engineering Representative giving him the authority to approve design for aircraft Engine Installations and Mechanical Systems.
He was a member of the Order of Quiet Birdmen, Lock Haven Elks Club, The Street Machines Car Club, and the Piper Aviation Museum where he served as president for many years.  He was a founding member of the Clinton County Filtration Authority and the Chairman of the Lock Haven Civil Service Commission.
Surviving in addition to his wife Lana, is one son, Justin Boyd (Kristie) Bryerton and one daughter Lisa Gail (Kevin) Lucas.  Two lovely grandchildren Kyler Lucas and Karissa Lucas who are twins born in 2000.
John was preceded in death by his brother Robert Bryerton and sister-in-law Bonnie Bryerton.
A memorial service for John Boyd Bryerton will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 4:00 pm in the Piper Aviation Museum, 1 Piper Way, Lock Haven, PA. Family and friends will be received in the museum Tuesday afternoon from 2:00pm until the time of services.
Officiating will be Pastor Tom Jones of the Rote United Methodist Church assisted by retired Pastor James E. VanZandt.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Lamar Township.
Memorial contributions in John’s name can be made to the Piper Aviation Museum.

Robert was married to the former Bonnie Kling July 3, 1964. He was a member of the Blanchard Church of Christ. He worked at various industries including Philco Electric out of Philadelphia, RCA out of Indiana, Fisher Electric out of Lewisburg and UGI / Lock Haven Gas Company, from which he retired after many years of service.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie, a daughter, Becky S. Yearick of Bellefonte, and a son, Robert D.  (Tammie) Yearick III of Mill Hall. Also surviving are two grandchildren Kimberly A. Yearick of Woolrich and Jordan M. Yearick of Wyoming, and a sister Carolyn (Raymond) Strecker of New Jersey.

Obituary Preview: Robert Dean Somerville, 96 of Flemington passed away March 12,2022 at the Susque View Home, Lock Haven.   He was born September 11, 1925, in Lock Haven to D. Ford and Sarah E. Wilson Somerville.
Dean was a graduate of the Lock Haven High School and served in the United States Army Air Corp World War II. He was united in marriage to the former Carol Miller on April 14, 1946, who preceded him in death August 10, 2015.
Dean had worked at the Hammermill Paper Company for 38 years and worked Construction for Mike Irvin and Kunes.  He was a member of the LaFayette Lodge # 199, Williamsport Consistory, and the American Legion, he had also been a member of the Flemington United Methodist Church and served as the Flemington Borough tax collector for over twenty-five years.
Dean is survived by a son, David R. (Glenda) Somerville of Latrobe, PA, a daughter, Cindy Schick of Ivyland, PA. Also surviving are four Grandchildren, four Great Grandchildren, three step-Grandchildren and two Step Great-Grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Dean was preceded in death by two brothers Arthur and John Somerville, a sister Helen McCloskey, a son-in-law, Dennis Schick, and a daughter in-law Kathy Ritchie Somerville.
Funeral services for Robert Dean Somerville will be held in the Flemington United Methodist Church, 225 High St., Lock Haven on Saturday March 19, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Rick L. Conklin officiating. Family and friends will be received in the church one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Christy was a 1979 graduate of the Lock Haven High School and had been employed at Lock Haven University in the Bentley Hall for 20 years. She also worked part-time in the deli department at Weis Market.  Christy enjoyed kayaking, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Penn State. She also loved all of her pets, including one she took under her wing at work. Survivors include her brother Mike L. (Renee) Taylor, two nephews Michael (Kelly) Raudabaugh of Lock Haven, Joshua Taylor of Jersey Shore and great nephew Conner and great niece Makenna. Special people include uncle and aunt, Jim and Donna Moore of Beech Creek, cousins, Ashley (Tony) Hudgins of Philadelphia, Staci (Jim) Kelly of Beech Creek, and Bradley (Kasey) Moore of Beech Creek,

Barry L. Haines - October 16, 1946 - February 23, 2022

Obituary Preview: Barry L. Haines, 75, of Lock Haven passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the UPMC Lock Haven emergency room.  He was born in Lock Haven on October 16, 1946, to Guy W. and Irene McKean Haines.
Barry was a 1965 graduated of the Lock Haven High School, he was united in marriage to the former Diana Piney on July 9, 1971, who survives at home.   He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era serving from July 1968 to July 1970. Barry had worked and retired from the Jersey Shore Steel Mill where he had worked for many years.  Barry loved spending time with his family and working on his antique tractors.
Survivors include his wife Diana, a son Mark L. Haines of Dover, FL, three brothers; Rex Haines, Larry Haines, Fred Haines, a sister; Lucy Collins and three grandchildren: Bryce, Jessica, Chelsie Haines.
In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by his sisters; Ruby Confer and Karen Haines.
A celebration of life for Barry L. Haines will be announced at a later date.

Betty was born October 7, 1925, to the late Charles and Emma (Caskey) Chatham, Sr. She is survived by daughter, Judy Haines and sons, Charles Walizer, Sr. and James (Joan)  Walizer; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Their son, Alvin III (Snap), preceded her in death, March 4, 1966; her brother, Charles Chatham, Jr., in October of 2021; son-in-law; Sheridan Haines, Jr. in December 2003.                   __________        __________ 2\15\22 – A note from Granddaughter Stephanie Last night, I held my grandmother’s hand as she took her last breath. She lived to be 96 ½. She was a woman who was unapologetically herself. She knew what she wanted, and she went after it. She dropped out of school when she was 16 because she met the love of her life and got married. She lived through the Great Depression and her husband fighting in the Pacific during WWII. She started and ran a successful pool business. She was a matriarch who fiercely loved her family. She was a lover of Frosties from Wendy’s and speaking her mind. She was feisty and strong. She was stubborn enough to know that 30 years was too long to spend another Valentine’s Day without her Wally. Thank you Mamee for everything. I love you so much. I hope your Valentine’s Day date was worth the wait!

Richard Ardel Andrus - December 29, 1929 - February 14, 2022

Obituary Preview: Richard Ardel Andrus, 92, of Lock Haven passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at Haven Place, Lock Haven.   He was born in Lock Haven on December 29, 1929, to Manuel B. and Ada I. Winters Andrus.
Richard was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and entered the United States Air Force serving four years in Alaska.  He had worked in the maintenance department at the former Hammermill Paper Company and retired in the early 90’s as supervisor of the maintenance department at the Keystone Central School District.  Dick was a member of the Covenant United Methodist Church,  Lock Haven Elks Club and the V.F.W.
Richard was married August 29, 1951 to the former Nadine L. Smith who preceded him in death on December 24, 2010.
Survivors include two daughters; Cathy Hepner of Mackeyville and Jody (Mitchell) Cohen also of Mackeyville. Also surviving are three grandchildren Marc (Launa) Hepner, Amy (Brian) Kramer and Alex Cohen. Four great grandchildren Keisha, Brandon, Violet and Nolan.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Manuel Andrus, three sisters Betty Diehl, Mary Lou Smith, and Eleanor Higgins.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Herring and Connie L Kessler Melissa was a kind and caring person who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was an avid music lover, enjoyed going to concerts and loved doing arts and crafts. Melissa was the proud fur Mama to her dog Bailey and many other fur babies that she cared for and loved dearly.  Melissa was a member of the Continental Fire Company and the VFW in Danville.’
Melissa is survived by her mother; Connie L Kessler, sister; Kimberly S. (Charles) Gerst; Great-nephew; River J. Martz all of Danville. Niece; Heather L. Martz and Great-niece; Kenleigh R. Adams of Elysburg. Her best Bud; Douglas Holmes of Muncy and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father; James F. Herring, and her nephew; John A. Martz, Jr. A celebration of life for Mellissa A. Herring will be held 1-4 on March 5th , 2022 at the Danville American Legion. (425 North'd St Danville)

Curtis Alan Geyer - July 30, 1962 - February 09, 2022

Obituary Preview: Curtis Alan Geyer Sr., 59, of Draketown Road, Mill Hall passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the UPMC Williamsport Hospital.  He was born in Lock Haven on July 30, 1962, to Gorden G. and Kathleen N. Henry Geyer.
Curt was a 1980 Graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School and had worked at various businesses in the area, Haven Homes, Lock Haven Collision Center, First Quality and was last employed at Croda Industries.  He was a lifetime active member of the Castanea Social Hall where he had served as a firefighter. He loved his family and friends. enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and shooting pool over the years. Curt’s last act of kindness was being an organ donor.
Curt is survived by his wife, the former Lisa Ann Toner, his son; Curtis A. (CJ) Geyer, Jr. of Mill Hall, a daughter; Erin (Chris) Engel of Castanea, a brother; Gorden (Son) (Carlene) Geyer of Williamsport, two sisters; Sandy (George) Chernisky of Michigan, Catherine (Cass) (Richard) Workman of Castanea, three grandchildren; Christopher, Summer, and Beau. His two dog fur babies Miley and Cora.
He was preceded in death by his brother; George Geyer and a sister; Helen Ann Sweitzer.

George W. Gray - April 18, 1946 - February 07, 2022

Obituary Preview: George W Gray, 75, of Park Avenue, Woolrich, PA passed away peacefully in his home residence on Monday afternoon February 7, 2022. He was born in Garrett, PA, the fourth child of the late Carlton Gray Sr & Leona (Bush) Gray.
He was the 1964 Graduate of Meyersdale Area High School in Meyersdale, PA. While attending High School, George earned 3 letters each in football and basketball while also earning 4 letters in baseball. He was the quarterback of the undefeated 1963 football team. He was undefeated in his four years of high school pitching for the baseball team. He was scouted by the Pittsburgh Pirates and the NY Mets organizations during his senior year. He was then signed by the NY Mets organization after high school and pitched until a shoulder injury had him released from the organization.
George then honorably served his country in the Army while serving in the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged from the Army and returning to PA, George went into the Law Enforcement with the PA State Police. He was stationed for most of his time in Lock Haven while also being stationed in Greensburg during which the family lived in the Ligonier Area. During this time, George and the former Cindy Eldred were married in Latrobe, PA on December 17, 1974, and just celebrated 47 years of marriage together. George was with the State Police for 20+ years before retiring in 1992 as a Pennsylvania State Trooper.
Some of George’s hobbies included being a baseball umpire in the Little League, High School and College levels. He was an active member at the Belles Springs Golf Course where he was an avid left-handed golfer. During his career he played in and won individual and team championships. George also enjoyed cruises with his wife. George also enjoyed collecting many different baseball hats. George was a past commander of the Jersey Shore Honor Guard and the Jersey Shore V.F.W. Post #5859. George is also a member of the Somerset County Old Timers Baseball Hall of Fame.
George is survived by his wife Cindy, their blended family – Michael Haffley and wife Gina of Lock Haven, Beth (Gray) Holdaway and husband David of Boswell, Trent Gray and wife Gina of Hazleton and Jeff Gray and wife Lori Kim of Salisbury, PA. Also, his 6 grandchildren – Robbie Risley, Maegan Greenwade, Mitchell Haffley, Brooke Gnagey, Liliana Shumaker and Seth Neri and 3 great granddaughters – Ellie & Ryleigh Greenwade and Nora Haffley. He is also survived by their 3 fur babies – Domino, Checkers and Chessy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Also surviving is his first wife Ellen (Housel) Mull. George is predeceased by his siblings Carlton Gray Jr “June,” Kenneth Gray Sr, Doris “Sis” Lenhart.
Viewing hours will be held on Thursday February 10, 2022, from the hours of 6pm – 8pm. The funeral service will be held then on Friday February 11, 2022, at 12:30pm at the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC,   121 W Main St, Lock Haven, PA 17745.

Obituary Preview: Lewis L. Brown III of Lock Haven, passed away Sunday February 6th at UPMC Williamsport.  He was born in Lock Haven, in 1955, the son of Lewis Brown Jr (deceased) and Carol Brown Hills.  He graduated from Lock Haven High Scholl in 1973 and had attended St Paul’s Episcopal Church where he served as an acolyte for several years.
He had been Assistant Operator at the Lock Haven Treatment Plant.  He received his PA State Certification in Water Analysis, after which he was employed at Penn State University as a technician in the Physical Plant until his retirement.
He was a former member of the Keystone Central School Board, where he received honors for helping to establish lights for Bald Eagle Nittany McGill Field.  He presented framed flags to several staff members of KSCD, and one is still on display in the Clinton County Courthouse.
In his healthier years, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, football, NASCAR and cooking.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Hills, stepfather Theodore Hills, both of Nippenose Village in Oval, brother Thomas (Dawn) Brown of Swissdale, daughter Erin (Forest) Herr, of Bellefonte, and three grandchildren.  Survivors also include niece Sarah Brown (Nick Connolly) with great nephew Samuel of Nittany and nephew Seth Brown (Kristin Manhart) of Swissdale.  He was predeceased by his father, Lewis Brown Jr, and son, Scott T Brown.

Obituary Preview: Richard (Dick) Chevillot, 91 of Mill Hall, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022.   Dick was an Army veteran of the Korean War Conflict.  Before he went on his tour, he bragged about hitch-hiking back and forth from Maryland to Pennsylvania to see his future wife,  JoAnne, the mother of The 9 Demon D’s.  Known to many as Father, he raised 23 children - and you know who you are!   Dick, worked as a mechanic his whole life. Born in Detroit, he managed Chevillot’s Garage.  After moving to Pennsylvania with his family, he worked at Montgomery Ward then Economy Auto Parts Garage.Dick was a long standing member of many Social Clubs; among his most recent favorites were The Forty & Eight and The Sons of Italy.    Dick is survived by his children, Debra, Dennis(Thalla), Daniel(Penny), Dale, DiAnne(Wayne), Donna, Drusilla(Ray), his grandchildren, Jenna(Alvin), Taylor(Connor), Wesley(Sammi), Jessica(Dallas), AJ, Barbara Reese, David Reese(Cynthia), Lori Dende(Dr. Neil), Dr.Douglas Reese(Deanne), Dr. Gregory Reese(Carmin), 12 additional  grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives Jo Chevillot and Corrine Reese Chevillot, also by his two sons, David  and Douglas Chevillot, and a brother Russell and sister Marion.    Military Services will be provided by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard in memory of Richard (Dick) Chevillot on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022 at 4:00 pm in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC, 121 W. Obituary Preview: Carrie W. Bolin left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 14, 2022. She was born in Lamar Township, Clinton County on September 14, 1930, to James (Elmer) and Elsie Weaver.  Carrie was united in marriage on June 20, 1952, to Darrell W. Bolin who preceded her in death on April 18, 1998.
She was a graduate of Lock Haven High School in 1948. From 1948 through 1952 she worked in the office of the New York and Pennsylvania Company which later in 1965 was sold to Hammermill Paper Company.
Carrie had been a lifetime member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ. For many consecutive years she read the Bible cover to cover knowing full well it was an acronym for Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth.
Survivors include her sons; Douglas (Mary Jo) Bolin, Darrell J. Bolin, Dwight (Deb) Bolin, and Delmas (Leena) Bolin. Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Michelle Bolin, Samantha Bolin, Shannon (Tyler) Walker, Nicholas Bolin, John Bolin, Jennifer (Bryan) Foster, Kristin (Daniel) Comune, and Kimberly (Charles) Reed III and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Carrie Bolin will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM. in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Clifford S. Mayes, Sr., 89, of Lock Haven, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Manor Care Skilled Nursing Facility in Jersey Shore, where he had been a resident for the past month. He was born in Lock Haven on November 25, 1932 to the late James E. and Esther Fisher Mayes.
Cliff was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from the Lock Haven Weis Market where he had been a manager for many years. He enjoyed horseshoes, darts, woodworking, and riding his tractor in his fields. He was mischievous and had a great sense of humor.
In September 1983, he married the former Margaret M. “Margie” Hamm, who survives. Together, they enjoyed raising dachshunds and sharing many laughs. Cliff was the last remaining original resident of Derr Hill (formerly Gravel Hill).
Other survivors include his sister Marjorie Myers, sons Clifford S. (Jennifer) Mayes, Jr. and Ronald L. (Marlene) Mayes, step-son Steve A. (Helen Katherman) Smith, and step-daughter Wendy M. (Kevin) Smith, as well as grandchildren Brittany, Joe, Matt, Travis, Chad, Danielle, Cody, Jennifer, Kaydan, Haley, and Brock. He also had two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Cliff was preceded in death by his brothers Ira, Carl, Robert, James “Edward,” and Donald, and sisters Lois Kline, Pearl Temple, Mary “Sissy” Savrock, and Charlotte Rhinehart.
In keeping with Cliff's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions can be made in Clifford's name to the Lock Haven Salvation Army, 119 E. Church St., Lock Haven, PA.

John Boyd Bryerton - April 26, 1941 - April 06, 2022

Obituary Preview: John Boyd Bryerton, 80, of Sylvan Drive, Lock Haven, PA passed away April 6, 2022, at the Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital Emergency Room. John was born, April 26, 1941, in Bradford, PA. He was the son of the late Jack B and Nancy Elizabeth Kiser Bryerton. He was married in 1969 to Lana G Drake Bryerton who survives.
John graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1959, he graduated in 1961 from the Valley Forge Military Academy.  He also graduated in 1964 from Tri-State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
John started to work at Piper Aircraft in 1964 as an engineer and held several positions including Designer, Project Manager and Chief Systems and Equipment Engineer.  He is also a holder of two US patents.  When Piper closed, John was employed by Lock Haven University for a short time as an Instructor for Engineering Graphics.  In 1986 he joined Schweizer Aircraft as a designer to develop the helicopter turbine engine installations for the Schweizer/Sikorsky model 330.  John and several former Piper Engineers formed and engineering consulting company in 1980, General Aviation Technical Services (GATS).  John became the sole owner of GATS in 1994 and company went on to design, and FAA certify the Gavilan airplane for a company located in Bogota, Columbia.
John is best known for his love of cars and restoration of a 1934 Pontiac and a 1930 Ford Model A.  John was a private pilot with multi engine rating and was an FAA Designated Engineering Representative giving him the authority to approve design for aircraft Engine Installations and Mechanical Systems.
He was a member of the Order of Quiet Birdmen, Lock Haven Elks Club, The Street Machines Car Club, and the Piper Aviation Museum where he served as president for many years.  He was a founding member of the Clinton County Filtration Authority and the Chairman of the Lock Haven Civil Service Commission.
Surviving in addition to his wife Lana, is one son, Justin Boyd (Kristie) Bryerton and one daughter Lisa Gail (Kevin) Lucas.  Two lovely grandchildren Kyler Lucas and Karissa Lucas who are twins born in 2000.
John was preceded in death by his brother Robert Bryerton and sister-in-law Bonnie Bryerton.
A memorial service for John Boyd Bryerton will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 4:00 pm in the Piper Aviation Museum, 1 Piper Way, Lock Haven, PA. Family and friends will be received in the museum Tuesday afternoon from 2:00pm until the time of services.
Officiating will be Pastor Tom Jones of the Rote United Methodist Church assisted by retired Pastor James E. VanZandt.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Lamar Township.
Memorial contributions in John’s name can be made to the Piper Aviation Museum.

He had also worked for New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company doing highway construction as a heavy equipment operator, OHM Remediation Services Corporation as a heavy equipment operator, clean up at Drake Chemical in Lock Haven in 1998, James P. Webb & Son as a paver operator, M & M Total Service as a boiler installer and cleaning furnaces, the former Contempory Concepts in Lock Haven for 8 years, and the Wayne Township Municipal Authority as a Laborer and Mechanic for 7 years.
Daryl had a passion for classic muscle cars which he had plenty of in his lifetime. He enjoyed going to Beavers Springs Dragway with his friend Scott. His pride and joy was his Corvette he purchased last year. He also enjoyed his classic movie collection of over 3,000 shows that he watched daily. He collected music from the 1950’s through 2000 and played it through a Hatchi system from the 1970s.  He also enjoyed spending time with his son Jake playing pool and going to car shows.
Survivors include his father; Leonard D. Johnson Sr. and stepmother; Mae Reeder Johnson, a sister; Marcia Williams of Texas, a son; Jacob of San Antonio, TX and his daughter; Kelly Johnson; grandson; Caden Johnson, nephew; Cody Askins, niece; Sarah Askins and his grandfather; Clifford Johnson. In addition to his mother, Daryl was preceded in death by his brother Leonard Johnson Jr. in 2007 and his grandmother Pauline Johnson in 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dugan, whom she married on June 22, 1985.  They celebrated 32 years of marriage before his passing.
Joyce was employed for 15 years by Bobbie Brooks, Lock Haven, 7 years at Armstrong in Beech Creek, 3 years for Snowiss Fur, Lock Haven.  She had been a Hospice Volunteer for Crossing Hospice.
Mom will be remembered for her homemade Easter Eggs she made for each family member and most of all her Sunday family get togethers. She also enjoyed the yearly Fisher family reunion at Woolrich Park.  In her younger years she enjoyed square dancing, bowling, and ceramics.  She and Harold enjoyed traveling, camping, hunting and auctions.
Survivors include two sons: Richard Eggler Jr. (Peg) of Port Matilda, Tim Eggler (Vicki) of Lock Haven, Judy Eggler (Charlie Walizer) of Rote and Connie Carey (Bob) of Lock Haven, One Brother; James Fisher of Mill Hall and two sisters; Clara Gingery of Lock Haven, Sue Walizer of Erie.  Two Stepsons: Harry (Mitch) Dugan of Wisconsin, and Lloyd (Kim) Dugan of Woolrich. Two Stepdaughters; Georgette (Floyd) Rupert of Beech Creek, Nancy (Ron) Young, of  Lock Haven.  Together Joyce and Harold have 20 grandchildren, 43 Great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. She will be remembered as Gram, Grammy Joyce, Grammy Grey, and GG.
In addition to her husband, Joyce was proceeded in death by a son; Gary Eggler in 1985, two brothers; Bud Fisher, George Fisher and one sister; Bernice Hill.
Funeral Services for Joyce E. Dugan will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:30 am in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main Street, Lock Haven, PA 17745.  Family and Friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to the services. (Masks are Required) Officiating will be Pastor P.
