Levi also leaves behind his grandparents, Stephen and Wanda Brooks, Gerald and Jean Caffee, Malcolm and Jane Rollins, and Larry Cates, Sr., as well as his great-grandmother, Ruth Cates Hardy.

Levi began his high school education at Lincoln Park Academy and graduated with his high school diploma from Indian River State College. His work ethic was evident from a young age when he started mowing lawns in high school. Levi's drive to succeed led him to become a certified underground directional drill operator. He had a natural talent for fixing motorcycles and small engines.

Beyond his professional aspirations, Levi was a man of many interests. He loved to ride motorcycles and was an exceptional guitarist, often sharing his musical talents with friends and family. Levi found peace and enjoyment in fishing. He was also skilled at playing pool and cards. His hobbies were more than pastimes; they were ways inwhich he connected with others, sharing his enthusiasm and joy for life.

Levi's kind words and sense of humor could light up a room. He had a unique ability to help people and make them laugh, often putting the needs of others before his own. His absence will be deeply felt by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

He dedicated his life to his loving wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved being a part of Florida Trail Riders, and served as the president of Treasure Coast Trail Riders. Luis will be remembered for his tremendous work ethic, selfless dedication to others, and his love for his family. He enjoyed racing, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his family, friends, and fraternity brothers.

Josie was born on August 14, 1971, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, daughter of Martha E. Perez Santiago and José A. Maldonado Castillo. She graduated from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico first with her Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering in 2011, then went on to complete her Masters in Engineering Management in 2014. Josie dedicated her life to her loving husband, children, and grandchildren. Her influence on others showed through teaching ESOL students whom she inspired over her lifetime career at the St. Lucie School District. Josie will be remembered for her unconditional love for others, her ambition to achieve her goals, and her incredible intelligence and knowledge. She was always a joyful resource for those around her. Josie enjoyed traveling with her husband, and spending time with her family, friends, and racing community.

Patricia owned and operated her own commercial and residential cleaning company for many years. She was talented with silk floral work and loved to sing in church. Patricia was very active in the church when able, especially working with the youth, and led many young men and women to dedicate their life to the Lord.

Maria was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose M. Del Campo and Maria Teresa Del Campo. Her legacy continues through her devoted husband, Anarocio Martinez, her three children, Victor Martinez (Frances), Jesus Martinez (Griselda), and Rebecca Gonzales (Arnulfo), her seven brothers, three sisters, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored with every fiber of her being.

A lifelong learner, Maria earned her GED and pursued further education, obtaining numerous certificates that would aid her in her career. For over 30 years, Maria dedicated herself to the students at Warfield Elementary School as a Teacher's Assistant. She was more than an educator; she was a mentor, a translator, and a pillar of support for ESOL students and their families. Her passion for education and her ability to connect with students of all backgrounds made her an indispensable part of the school community.

Maria's interests were as rich and varied as her character. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as listening to music while organizing her home, delving into the pages of a good book, and marveling at the wonders of nature through her favorite shows. Above all, Maria cherished the moments spent with her family. The visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the highlights of her days, filled with laughter, stories, and the warmth of shared memories.

Those who knew Maria would describe her as generous, faith-filled, and loving. She had a heart that knew no bounds and a spirit that lifted others. Her unwavering faith guided her through life's challenges, and her love was a source of comfort and strength to her family and friends.

As we remember Maria, we are reminded of the words of Mother Teresa, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." Maria lived by this sentiment, touching the lives of many with her small acts of kindness and her great love.

Her passion for education and her ability to connect with students of all backgrounds made her an indispensable part of the school community.

Maria's interests were as rich and varied as her character. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as listening to music while organizing her home, delving into the pages of a good book, and marveling at the wonders of nature through her favorite shows. Obituary Preview: Janet Allcorn Williams passed away at 100 years old on 02/29/24, celebrated by the five children, fifteen grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren whose lives and characters she shaped.

A matriarch with natural authority, she displayed a youthful curiosity, wonder, enthusiasm and sense of adventure at every age. Interested in art since her childhood, she took up lessons at 62 and became a professional artist, exhibiting her landscape and portrait oil paintings throughout her 80s. She continued painting past 100 and supported arts and music lessons for all the children in the family.

Having grown up within a few neighboring blocks in Atlanta, and newly wed during World War II, she thrilled at the opportunity to move her young family to Brazil in the 1950s. She went on to visit 74 countries with her husband Emory Williams, including Myanmar when she was nearly 90 and he was 101.

Her life's constants were her faith and her family. She named her autobiography, completed last year, Show Me the Way, after a prayer to God that guided her from a young age through difficult and uncertain moments. But the sentiment carried over to her husband, to whom she was married for 70 years, and called "my star" and "the magic in my life." She married Emory, then a Captain in the U.S. Army, in 1943 shortly before he departed for duty in Ceylon and India. He died in 2014, aged 102, after a remarkable corporate career that she supported ingeniously as the magic in his life. They danced at their grandchildren's weddings to songs they had loved since the war. "How can one love a husband enough, or children, or friends, or parents, or God?", she wrote when she was 50.

Janet Allcorn was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1923. She was named for her mother Janet Hatcher Allcorn, who died in an automobile accident in the 1940s, just on the cusp of her own late-in-life career as an artist. Her close-knit family included her beloved brother Frank, a wartime submarine hero whom she called "brother" without pronouncing the "r" at the end. Her devotion to her parents and sibling in the village-like atmosphere of Ansley Park, Atlanta shaped her iron commitment to family gathering - even when her descendants lived all over the world. She told them stories of her parents and grandparents. Her detailed and vivid memory of seven generations of family history was simply astonishing. One of her favorite eyewitness stories concerned the events of April 1945, when President Roosevelt died the afternoon he was due as the guest of honor at a barbecue hosted by her father Frank Allcorn, Jr., the mayor of Warm Springs, Georgia, where Brunswick stew, roast pig, "Ruth's nut cake," and fiddlers all were prepared for the President's visit.

Making homes in Atlanta, Sao Paulo, Chicago and Florida over the course of decades, she found new energy and always new friends, often through activities in which she engaged as a volunteer. "I always felt headed uphill, climbing, taking in new views," she wrote. She captured her "new views" in painting, poetry, and lively stories for all of those drawn to her charismatic southern charm.

A community builder par excellence, she was a founding member of Loblolly Bay in Hobe Sound, where she lived for more than 40 years. Within that community she was known by many people as the person who first welcomed them. A spirited hostess with a great sense of fun, she organized many community firsts which became traditions including the opening weekend, annual Christmas party, Easter Egg hunt and other activities designed to attract and delight young children. She organized the construction of a playground for which she raised the funds by selling shirts with the original Loblolly Bay logo she designed. She was known at Loblolly as a formidable and smart bridge player. The house where Janet died in Hobe Sound, Florida was one that she had designed; she sometimes commented that in another life she might have been an architect. Called Lembrancas or "memories" in Portuguese, the house has hosted annual family gatherings for four decades. Her l00th birthday in Lembrancas's great room was a joyful event for four generations. She talked with them about what mattered - family, love, and faith - knowing that she was nearing the end of her own life. Soft lessons, shared simply and with humor, were a reminder of her time as a teacher and her love of children, with whom she connected readily and easily. A great-grandchild summarized one lesson learned as, "Gigi lived to be 100 because her attitude is gratitude." "I find it easy to be grateful for the life I have led and not to fear dying," she wrote in Show Me The Way. "It has been helpful to have the presence of guardian angels in my life, like my mother and Emory, keeping me company for a long time. I have a good enough imagination to be able to see a lot of angels lined up to whom I can speak when I make the next transition."

She is survived by daughters Nelle Brown of Hobe Sound, Florida; Janet Harrison of Dallas, Texas; Bliss Browne and Carol Schroeder, also of Hobe Sound, Florida; and son Emory Williams III of Belvedere, California, as well as more grandchildren and great-grandchildren than can fit into the homes she filled with her love, enthusiasm and laughter.
