Montville, CT - Michael John Williams born October 9, 1965 unexpectedly passed away at home May 11 2024. Leaving behind his adoring parents, Larry and Geraldine (Gerry) Williams.
He is also survived by his brothers Dan (Denise) Williams of Preston; and Dave Williams of Montville; and a sister Michelle (Bob) Kolodziej of Waterford, as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday May 16th 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Rd, Uncasville, CT 06382. There will be a celebration of life immediately following the calling hours at the Polish American Citizens Club 85 Maple Ave, Uncasville, CT 06382. Interment will be private.

Obituary Preview: Elizabeth M. "Betty" Piascik, 82, a longtime Montville resident, died Saturday, May 4, 2024. Born in Norwich September 4, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Victoria Kleeman, and was the loving wife of Richard "Dick" Piascik for 61 years until his passing on Jan. 6, 2021.
Elizabeth attended Norwich Free Academy (NFA) where she graduated and then went on to work for the State of Connecticut where she assisted with the care of handicap and elderly people. She went on to retire and then enjoyed the company of her family and friends in the past few years. She was a loving wife, dearly loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time on the beach and getting a nice bite to eat with friends and family.
She is survived by her son Richard G. Piascik Jr.; daughter Susan M. Jessop; grandchildren, Dylan and Devan Jessop; her brother Paul Kleeman Jr.; her sister Barbara Choate and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 24th at 1:00 pm at Maplewood Cemetery, 184 Salem Tpke, Norwich, CT.

Shirley Ann Fletcher - January 15, 1945 - April 28, 2024

Obituary Preview: Oakdale — Shirley Ann (Clarke) Fletcher, of 39 Turner Road, Oakdale, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 28, 2024, while in her home and surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of love among friends and family who will miss her more than words can express. Shirley was born Jan. 15, 1945, in Raleigh, N.C., the daughter of Catherine (Clarke) Fletcher (late-wife of stepfather Walter) of Camden, S.C., and the late Leroy Higgins. She spent her first eight years in Raleigh, followed by six years in Detroit, Mich., which she remembered fondly. At the age of 14, she moved to Connecticut where she remained, received her formal education, and worked as a certified nurse’s aide for over 20 years, retiring in 2007.
In 1964, Shirley married her husband of nearly 60 years, James W. Fletcher. Together they raised four children who survive her: Lisa (Fletcher) Dunston (Claude) of Durham, N.C., Sheila (Fletcher) Stanley (Shaun) of Raleigh, N.C., James A. Fletcher of Jewett City, and Peter C. Fletcher of Oakdale. Over the years, they were blessed with six grandchildren who also survive her: Alexis Stanley, Ashleigh Stanley, William Stanley, Morgan (Dunston) McNeill (Devin), April (Dunston) Snowden (Nathan) and Tyler Dunston, all of whom reside in North Carolina; and two great-grandchildren, Devin McNeill Jr. and Kynnedy McNeill.
In addition to her husband James and their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Shirley is survived by her stepfather Walter; her brother Walter Leo Fletcher of Houston, Texas; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly. She is predeceased by her parents, Catherine and Leroy; her beloved great-aunt Amanda Elleby; her brothers, Steven and Adam; and her sister Gwen (Fletcher) Camby.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with a funeral service starting at 5 p.m. Monday, May 6, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Road, Uncasville. A private interment will be on Monday at Maplewood Cemetery. Service entrusted to the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home.

Mary E. Kumpf - November 20, 1941 - April 10, 2024

Obituary Preview: Uncasville - It is with great sadness that we announced the passing of Mary E. Kumpf, 82, of Montville, Connecticut on April 10, 2024. Mary passed away at home in the arms of her loving husband Cliff after a lengthy struggle with multiple health issues. Mary Elizabeth Terry Kumpf was born to Eleazer Elmer Terry and Francis Eleanor (Smith) Terry on November 20, 1941 in New London Connecticut. She was the youngest of six siblings who all predeceased her. Mary is survived by her husband, Clifford, five children, Cathy (David) Apple, Kevin (Dee) Kumpf, Kim (Steve) Bennett-Kaplan, Clifford Jr. (Nadene), and Christopher Kumpf. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several honorary grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
Mary and Cliff were married August 6, 1960. Although Mary had several “jobs “throughout the years, her primary occupation was “Mom” and homemaker. In 1982 she achieved a lifelong dream and became a licensed practical nurse. She worked initially on the neurology unit at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital before finishing her career in long-term healthcare at Nutmeg pavilion and Mystic Manor.
Mary loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She and Cliff are members of the Montville Union Baptist Church. She served for many years as their pianist and director of music.
Mary enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan as well as the UConn Huskies basketball teams. She loved to play games and is the undisputed trivial pursuit champion of the family. She and Cliff enjoyed going out to eat and had many favorite restaurants. They also love traveling to Maine with their beloved dog Booger. Mary dearly loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

He was the eldest of 5 siblings, Patrick (Carol), Judy Davis (Ronald), Christine Malcott (Brian), Carla Smith (Henry). After graduating high school he enlisted in the Navy Seabees. Upon his return, he met the love of his life Cecelia (Coleda) Messore and spent 58 years together, until her passing in September of 2021. Together they had 4 children, Jonathan (LaurieAnn), Terrence (Karen), Erin Pedone (John), and Daniel; 5 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Paul worked most of his life in the amusement game industry and owned his own poolhall in Groton, until his retirement in 2007. Obituary Preview: Janet E. (Smith) Santaniello passed away peacefully Tuesday April 9th 2024, at the age of 93. She was the daughter of Clifford and Stella (Northrup) Smith. Janet graduated from Ludlow High School in 1949. She got married in 1952 to Nunzio Bernie Santaniello. They were married for 61 years until his death in 2013.
Janet was a local DJ at WACE in Chicopee Massachusetts. She went under the name Janet Lane, and at that time she was the youngest disc jockey in the nation. Her program consisted of western music. She was also a country singer and played guitar in the band, Janet Lane and The Westerners. In 1951 she released a record single with 2 songs, which included her future husband on accordion. She also worked at Sears in the catalog department, and at her husband’s pool business after his retirement from the Springfield Police Department.
Janet leaves her son Garry and his wife Joanne of Wilbraham MA, and Donna “Weaver” Santaniello of Ledyard CT. She also leaves her two granddogs, Pepper and Marble. All services are private.

She was the beloved sister of Scott Novakowski of Ringwood, New Jersey and Jeffrey Stanley of Malden, Massachusetts. Kim is also survived by her aunt and uncle Irene Bob Renza, her cousin Christopher Renza, sisters-in-law Lauren Novakowski and Heather Stanley, her step father Brian Stanley and will always be remembered as Auntie Minnie by her favorite niece, Dahlia Novakowski. She was recently employed by Citizen’s Bank in Old Lyme, CT and a former employee of Mohegan Sun. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She also enjoyed basketball and life with friends.

Obituary Preview: Oakdale - Jeannette C. (Benoit) Pieniadz, of Oakdale, 88, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Charles Pieniadz. She was also predeceased by her six older siblings, Rita, Edward, Agnes, Richard (Duke), Rose, and Robert. She is survived by her three children, Jean Pieniadz (Burlington, VT), William Pieniadz (Oakdale, CT), and Robert Pieniadz (Westerly, RI), and their spouses, Joel Shapiro, Barbara Pieniadz and Lori Pieniadz, and her adored grandchildren, Derek, Sam, Leah, and Alana, and great-grandchildren, Jack and Isabelle.
While caring for her family, Jeannette enjoyed many roles in her community over the years. After working at SNET Co. in New London for several years, she worked as a cashier, then cash department head, at Stop & Shop in Norwich. She was an active member of her church in Montville, teaching catechism, being a member of the Rosary Society and Couples Club, co-teaching Pre-Cana courses with her husband, and volunteering at countless church events. In her later years, she delighted in designing windows for Helping Hands. She volunteered in hospice work, and participated in the prayer line, as well as administration of communion to the invalid, for St. John’s church. She loved all manner of craft projects, scrap-booking, and gardening.
Visiting hours will be held 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, and a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 5, both at Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Rd., Uncasville.

Obituary Preview: NORWICH - John T. Dombrowski, 83, of Norwich died on Wednesday, March 20 after a brief illness. He was born Nov. 6, 1940 to the late Walter R and Helen (Kilbosa) Dombrowski,
He was married July 1962 to Phyllis (Pawlowski) who survives along with four children, Tom (Susan), Kevin (Robyn), Karen Cregeur (Tom) and Sue DiCocco (Mike); three grandcnildren, Jeff Cregeur, Anthony and Sophia DiCocco and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Richard.
He owned Dombrowski's Flower Shop with his wife for 30 years, before becoming a slot supervisor at Foxwoods Resort and Casino until his retirement in 2005.
He enjoyed traveling visiting historical places and Disneyworld and taking the grandchildren on several trips. The highlight of his visits was being able to climb to the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral in London. He loved baseball and played softball in the 1960's where he was well-known for hitting home runs. He later played backyard wiffleball every night with his children and often other neighborhood kids. When the grandchildren started playing various sports, he never missed a game. He was proud of all their accomplishments. He loved old movies and was once a projectionist at the Midtown Theater. He enjoyed the friendship of fellow model railroaders and the many friends he had at Foxwoods.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 26 from 4-6 pm at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Rd, Uncasville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 120 Cliff St, Norwich, meeting directly at church. Burial will be at a later date.

Thomas A. LaMarche - September 20, 1936 - February 29, 2024

Obituary Preview: Thomas LaMarche, 87, of Oakdale, passed away on February 29, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born on September 20, 1936 to Eugene and Emily LaMarche.
A graduate of Windham High School's Class of 1954, Tom's early passion for mechanics and craftsmanship set the course for his future: a full career in the automotive industry. Starting as a car mechanic at Markland’s Garage in Storrs, his dedication and expertise propelled him to service manager positions at several local dealerships including Simon Ford, Colonial Chrysler Plymouth, Risko Chrysler Plymouth, and Girard Motors.
In 1977, Tom along with his wife Joyce opened the British T’ Shop, a haven for British sports car enthusiasts. Here, he combined his love for mechanics with his business sense working on and selling British sports cars. Tom's life was enriched by his beloved wife, Joyce (Amburn) LaMarche, with whom he shared a love for raising miniature horses, and traveling by motorhome to Alaska twice and several cross-country trips. Joyce predeceased him in 2016.
He is survived by his son, Richard LaMarche and wife, Laury of Oakdale and their son Griffin of Manhattan, his sister Judy Kimball of Wethersfield, his brother Robert LaMarche of Coventry, his niece Sawyer Peabody and her family of Portland.
Tom's life was a testament to the values he held dear: hard work, family, and the joy of pursuing one's passions. Tom will be fondly remembered for his love of chat and many cherished friendships.

Antonio leaves behind his dear wife of 24 years Keila Canales, children Kiesha Garnetto, Maurice Steele, and Antonio Vargas Jr., and his grandson, Amour Matthews.
Antonio was born on November 3rd, 1973 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Antonio Vargas and Margarita Martinez. At a young age, Antonio moved to the Bronx, NY with his siblings and mother. Later in his adulthood, Antonio relocated to CT, where he met his wife Keila in 1993 and happily married in 1999. He worked as a skilled welder and machinist at Machine Works, New England Pump & Valve, and most recently, Veolia North America, who have been extremely supportive to the family during the last few years.
Antonio has been a devoted father for the last 30 years but was a family man to all who crossed his path, providing unconditional and unwavering love to all of his family members, with a special place in his heart for his grandson, nieces, and nephews. His loyalty to those that he loved was reflected in the space he created wherever he went, never failing to make those around him laugh and feel safe in his presence.
During his free time, Antonio could be found playing dominoes and grilling at a family barbeque, drawing for his children, traveling with his wife, or cuddling on the couch with his family and their dog Blue while watching a movie. It also goes without saying that Antonio was the one to call for any type of home repair or project and would happily offer help to anyone who needed it. Antonio’s commitment to his family and his faithfulness to the Lord led him to lead an abundant life full of strength and joy. A public viewing and funeral service will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, March 1st, 2024 at Church of the City, 250 State Street, New London, Connecticut. George Allen Watrous - June 20, 1929 - February 05, 2024

Obituary Preview: Ledyard — George Allen Watrous, 94, of Center Groton Road, Ledyard, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven to be with his lord and savior, Jesus Christ, Feb. 5, 2024, at Backus Hospital with his wife of 72 years at his side. The son of George H. and Jane (Whipple) Watrous he was born in Stonington, June 20, 1929.
George grew up helping his parents run Watrous Dairy and attended classes at the Lambtown, one-room schoolhouse. He enlisted in the Connecticut National Guard and was assigned to the current home of the AVCRAD Helicopter Maintenance and Repair Facility located at the Groton-New London Airport in Groton. He entered into active duty during the Korean War and Sgt. Watrous was sent to Korea, where he was seriously wounded and a recipient of a Purple Heart medal. Sgt. Watrous was also a recipient of the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Korean Service Medal with Bronze Campaign Star in 1951. Upon returning stateside, he was stationed at Ft. Campbell, Ky., when he met, fell in love with and married the love of his life Ann E. (Patterson) Watrous of Nashville, Tenn., March 8, 1952. The final duty assignment for George prior to his honorable discharge separation from the Army was with the Third Armored Division at Fort Knox, Ky.
George was a jack-of-all-trades and after being honorably discharged from the Army, he found himself employed in the maintenance department at Sir-Tex which was located in the current home of the Old Mystic Mill in Old Mystic. He changed his career path and was employed at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, as a shipfitter. He worked on several of the classes of submarines and a highlight of his career was working on the construction of the NR1. He recalled memories of working on the sail for the sub. George retired in 1995, after 35 years with the company.
George was very mechanically inclined and throughout the years, he enjoyed working on his muscle cars, motorcycles, lawn tractors and equipment or anything else with a motor. He also loved to tinker and could often be found building something to maintain the house or coming up with ways to “make the job easier,” including fabricating specialty tools. He took great pride in all he did, and he was a man of his word. George had a love for trail riding and spent many weekends in the woods on one of his many brands of off-road/trail bikes that spanned over several decades. He especially enjoyed those times when he was accompanied by his daughter Nancy. George also took to two wheels on the road and spent time with his wife on their Honda Goldwing or Harley Davidson Classic. One summer after retiring, he secured a camper into the bed of his pick-up truck; then he and his bride took a cross country trip, which was one of the many highlights of their lives. George would also take his wife, and eventually their children, on a road trip “back home” to see her family every year.
George was a loving husband, father and grandfather; and left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Ann; his daughters, Peggy (Larry) Loomis, Nancy (Ken) Burrows and Doris Oudkerk; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew and Cynthia and his great-grandchildren, Willa, Grayson and Layla.

Robert E. "Bob" Banker, Sr. - August 18, 1943 - January 25, 2024

Obituary Preview: It is with a heavy heart to announce that Robert E. Banker Sr (Bob) of Uncasville, CT and formerly of North Stonington, CT passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, with his loving family by his side. Bob, son of George Banker and Beatrice Potter of Stonington was born on 8-18-43 in Westerly, RI. He was married for 57 years to the love of his life, Patricia Wallace Banker, who survives him. In 1965, he earned a B.S. in Education and began his teaching career at Preston Plains School in Preston, CT in 1966. He spent his entire 37 year career there, reluctantly retiring in 2003. Along the way, Bob received his Masters Degree from ECSU in 1975. There wasn’t a student he didn’t love and he continued to do so even after retirement. Teaching was his true passion. In recognition of his excellence in teaching Science at Preston Plains School, Governor Rowland designated May 1 as “Robert Banker Day”.
Bob’s passions were his family , his friends, teaching, camping, boating and he excelled at all (except boating). He leaves behind his children, Robert Banker, Jr. (Bonnie) of Salem, CT, his daughter, Johanna Banker Schmitt (Winfield) of Lisbon, 7 grandchildren (John, Meghan, Rebecca, Nicholas, Alexandra, Lindsey and Logan), 4 great grandchildren (Mason, Myles, Persophene, and Emily), brothers Milton Banker of North Stonington, CT, and Warren Banker (Anne) of South Padre Island, TX as well as 5 nieces and 8 nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Marjorie Banker and sister-in-law Ellie Banker (Milt).
Funeral services will be held at Quaker Hill Baptist Church, Old Norwich Rd, Quaker Hill, CT on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11:30am followed by a celebration of life at The Polish Club on Maple Ave. Uncasville. Burial will be private.

Joe was the son of Camilla and Stanley Jastremski. He was born on February 17, 1933 in Montville where he resided his entire life.
From 1953-1955 he served in the US Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He worked 34 years at Connecticut Light and Power as a Maintenance Mechanic and Maintenance Supervisor. From 1978-1981 he served as President of the Montville American Polish Citizen’s Club.
He is survived by his son, Joseph Yacinski of North Truro, MA and his sister, Veronica Smolen. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Margaret Yacinski as well as 4 sisters: Sophie, Helen, Lillie and Jennie, and 3 brothers: Billy, Jerry and Teddy.
Joe was passionate about family, travel, fixing things and polka dancing, He was always interested in helping people in need whenever he could.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 5pm Friday, Feb. 9 at Woyasz and Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Road, Uncasville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb 10 at St. John Church, 22 Maple Ave., Uncasville. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Uncasville.

It took a lot to get her upset and even then it wouldn’t take much to turn her frown back to a smile. She loved music and dancing with a passion and never missed a beat. She loved when Dad would get her off the bus after school. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her but especially by her Mother- Jessica, Father- Brian, Grandmother Ruth, Siblings: Malik, Dante, Breahna, Damir, Ezra & Elias. Niece- Braelynn, Nephew- Kai’Ree, Aunts: Teresa, Erica, Christina, Diane, Nicole, Keisha & Sonia. Uncles: Will, David, Antwan & Mike- Along with many more of her family like her great grandparents, great uncles, great aunts, All of her cousins (whom she loved to play with), her teachers, friends & more. Obituary Preview: Montville - Bryan L. Merfeld Sr., 77, passed peacefully to his heavenly home on January 8, 2024 with his wife Carol by his side. Bryan was born September 30, 1946 in New London, Connecticut and was the son of the late Marvin E. Merfeld and Alice Charlton Merfeld.
Bryan moved around the United States while his father served in the US Navy. They settled in Groton where Bryan attended Fitch High School graduating in 1965. After graduation, he started at Electric Boat as a machinist. He served in the Navy reserves from 1965 to 1967. He resumed work at EB and retired in 2001 after 36 years. Following his long career at EB, Bryan drove school bus for Montville, retiring in 2012.
Bryan loved fishing, hunting, gardening traveling and sports. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Community of Prayer and Praise, American Legion Post 112, and Groton Sportsman club. Bryan married Carol Krzemien Merfeld on April 2, 1977.
Bryan is survived by his wife Carol of 46 years from Montville, Son; Jason of Montville, Granddaughter; Stella Merfeld of Baltic, Sister' Karen Papajohn of Putnam Station, NY, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Bryan's life will be announced at a later date.

After graduating from Chapman Tech High School class of 1950 she entered into the Backus School of Nursing. She graduated in 1953 becoming an R.N. and it was there that Madelyn achieved her greatest career goal being named Manager of the Backus Hospital Emergency Department.
Albert A. Lyman was the love of her life. Together they had an adventurous and full life taking countless trips and enjoying family and friends.
Madelyn was involved with many groups and organizations during her life. She was a member of the Mohegan Fire Company Auxillary and the Mohegan School PTA, was a member of the board of the Backus Hospital Credit Union and Core Plus Credit Union. She served as Vice-President of the Chapman Tech Alumni, was an active member of the Norwich Historical Society, the Norwich Diocesan White Mass Committee, Adventures in Life Learning at Three Rivers Community College, and served as President of the Backus Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae.
She is survived by her children, Lyn Wood (Michael), Albert Lyman, Jr., and Lori Ainslie (Steve); grandchildren, Philip, Jennifer, Erin, A.J., Ashlee, Matt, and Megen; great grandchildren, Elvin, Isabele , Theo, Tessa, Josey, Lilly, and William.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Road, Uncasville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at St. John Church, 22 Maple Avenue, Uncasville. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: QUAKER HILL – Ricky P. “Rick” Milnarik, 76, of Quaker Hill, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023. He was born to Helen (Zalesny) Milnarik and Michael Milnarik on July 27th 1947 in Yonkers New York and was married to Donna (Spicer) Milnarik of Preston on May 15th 1982.
Rick served 23 years in the navy followed by a 30-year career at Electric Boat retiring as a principal engineer. He enlisted in the navy in 1964 and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1988. His naval career started when Rick reported for duty on the USS Sablefish followed by the USS Tinosa, the USS Nautilus, Naval Submarine School Advanced Weapons Training Instructor, the USS Minneapolis St. Paul, and the USS Fulton on which he served as the weapons officer. Rick was a qualified navy diver, and was on the crew that decommissioned the Nautilus in 1980.
In addition to his career, Rick was a member of the National Safety Council which allowed him the opportunity to serve as a keynote speaker at NASA and teach a yearly class at MIT. He also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and he served as a board member on the Connecticut Down Syndrome Congress. In his younger years Rick’s hobbies included skydiving, drag racing, and running marathons. He enjoyed being outdoors and working in his yard at home.
Rick was a devoted husband and father and is survived by his wife Donna, his 2 sons Philip Milnarik and Andrew Milnarik, brother Robert Minarik of Pennsylvania, nephew Michael Milnarik and wife Sanae Kanda, sister-in-laws Michele Spicer, Bev (Spicer) Bordner and husband Tom Bordner, brother-in-law Parke Spicer II, along with several nieces and nephews.

A selfless and compassionate caregiver, Deb dedicated her time to the things that mattered to her the most: her family, her pets and helping others. Deb was an affectionate and devoted mother. Her daughters, Megan and Jessica, will miss her hugs, listening ear and how she was always there for them. A steadfast advocate for their health and well-being, Deb was a supportive presence throughout Megan and Jessica's lives. She was a Girl Scout leader, cheer-leading coach and when adversity struck, ensured educational and health service needs were met. Deb also assumed responsibility for the care of her mother (and best friend) who lived many years with a serious illness until her passing in October 2023.
A gifted crocheter, Deb used her talent to benefit others. She created and donated handmade items to benefit participants of Madonna Place, sheltered animals by Ledyard C.H.A.I.N. and patients of Lawrence + Memorial and Backus Hospital Cancer Centers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Deb contributed to the creation of over 1,000 masks donated to essential workers.
Deb attended Ledyard schools graduating in 1983. She completed studies at Huntington Institute in 1984, and went on to pursue administrative support positions first at Mc Laughlin Corporation, then at Sonalysts where she enjoyed working for many years until leaving to care fo her family.
She married Joseph Marmaud in 1986. He, their daughters and their son-in-law Matthew Jalbert will miss her dearly. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael and Jon Stockford, their wives, children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Charly; His stepson Ben Steffens; Step daughter Danielles Steffens Dixon and her husband Kevin; his beloved Grandson Tallan Ace Harrison; his brother Michael Pachiodo and his wife Shirley. Tommy was a loving uncle and a great friend to many.

Keith was a work horse. He was employed as an ironworker for over 30 years and took great pride in building and maintaining over 50 bridges across the state, leaving his mark on Connecticut's infrastructure. His love and guidance will forever be etched in the hearts of his beloved family. He enjoyed being outdoors, working in his yard, taking walks on the beach with Kate and spending time with his children and grandchildren who brought him so much joy.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 10,2023 from 4-6 pm at Woyasz & Son Funeral Home in Uncasville. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at a later date.

Always there to help anyone out whether she had it or not.
Harvey (Mom) leaves behind six (6) children: Lawrence Mikusek of Cape Coral FL Lisa Kuhl Duperry, Oakdale, CT. Fredrick (Bo) Kuhl, Norwich, CT. Tabatha (Tabby) Gullage, Summerville, SC. Katherine (Misty) Powell, Colorado Springs, CO. Nancy Samples, Summerville SC.
Blessed by Grandkids she loved all (8) eight: Julie Carrier, Megan Taylor, Shane Browne, Kaitlyn Gullage, Quentin Duperry, Hailey Wadford, Danny (DJ) Gullage, and Hannah Brower. Our Mother was also blessed with with 10 Great Grandchildren, and two on the way.
Our Mother was beautiful, strong, brave, kind, loving, giving and funny. She loved her Bingo and scratch offs. Most of all she was a social butterfly, many friends and always on the go. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Nydia Hernandez, brother-in-law Juan Hernandez, and Phyllis Ostriak his companion of 25 years.
