Obituary Preview: Dakota, also know as "Roadie" passed away at 2:25 am February 4, 2016 with his family at his side. He has been with our family since 1998 when he was adopted from the Jackson County Humane Society. It was an instant bond when we knelt down to the cage to receive a smile from him. That smile became his trademark.

Dakota loved taking rides in the car, John Deere gator and loved camping in the RV. What we will miss the most about Dakota was his warm and gentle spirit. The only thing that really got him shook up was when the thunderstorms rolled in...it would shake and tremble until they were over...IN THE BED.

Dakota leaves behind his parents; a sister Sally; two brothers, Gizmo and Jack. Not to mention grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Today, at the Rainbow Bridge, he met back up with Max, Peanut, Chance and Earl. In Dakota's memory, memorials can be made to the Jackson County Humane Society. To really make his memory shine, go to a shelter and adopt a pet and give them the kind of love that Dakota had!

Obituary Preview: Son of Andy and Brandy Rumph, Max was born and lived a spoiled life. From running, fetching and swimming to playing with his Moo Cow, Max was always at Andy's side. Max loved to travel and somehow never got over thinking he was a lap dog. Christmas was Max's favorite time of year when he got to open his presents.

While Max lived a spoiled life, he didn't live a pain free life. At age 5, Max started having seizures. We mostly controlled them with medication, but he still had frequent seizures. He had other issues late in life, but he always had a awesome personality right up til the night he passed away at our home.

We have many memories of Max and will always hold him dear in our hearts. We are sure Max will be waiting in heaven for us when we arrive, Moo Cow in mouth, waiting to play.
