Laureen P. (Stoklosa) Boring, 54, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. She was born in New York City, NY on July 9, 1965 to Henry and Patricia (Kaminski) Stoklosa. Laureen graduated from Whitmer High School in 1983 and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Toledo.
Laureen married her sweetheart, Don Boring, on June 25, 1988, and together they raised three wonderful children. She was an HR Systems Manager at The Andersons, where she made many great friends throughout her 34-year career. Laureen enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and Godmother who will be dearly missed.
Laureen is survived by her husband, Don Boring; daughters, Patti (Fiancé, Rick Hansen) Boring and Jessica Boring; son, Andrew Boring; grandchildren, Summer and Ivy Hansen; mother, Patricia Stoklosa; brother, Gary (Dawn) Stoklosa; sister, Andrea (Tom) Kroma; many loving nieces, nephews and Godchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Stoklosa.

She was born on May 2, 1963 in Virginia to John and Nellie C. (Morton) Wheeler and she married Gary M. Golden on September 3, 1999 in Jamaica.
Patty graduated from Norwell high school in Bluffton, IN where she grew up. She later attended Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne and earned her bachelor’s degree. Patty was a human resource manager for Eaton Corporation in Fremont for several years, retiring in 2002. She enjoyed scrapbooking and was an avid quilter. Patty was a proud advocate for children with autism and special needs. She was a Warrior Mom.
Patty is survived by her loving husband, Gary M. Golden; daughter, Grace Olivia Golden; siblings, John Wheeler, Jr. and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Paul married his high school sweetheart, Virginia M. Sarver on February 18, 1942 in Perrysburg and they cherished almost 76 years together. He was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church, where he was on the board of directors and church council and a member of Church of the Master for the last year. Paul served 25 plus years on Perrysburg Economical Board, 20 plus years on the Maumee River Water Shed Board and he was a Maumee Valley Water Conservancy District Appraiser. He was a member of Phoenix Lodge #123, Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo and Zenobia Shrine. Paul was a realtor for over 50 years and was past president of the Toledo Board of Realtors and Wood County Realtors, he served on Perrysburg City Council, was a jury commissioner for Wood County, Bank of Wood County Board of Directors, O.A.R. Legislative Committee, was the first President of Perrysburg Chamber of Commerce and was the Grand Marshal in the 2018 Home for Holidays parade.
Paul is survived by his children, David A. (Carolyn) Sargent, Andrea L. (David) Rex and Melissa S. Sargent; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sister, June E. (Russell) Foster. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia M. Sargent; granddaughter, Deborah Lynn Sargent.

Ed was born on January 5, 1958 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to Edward and Henrietta (Vavrik) Kleinfelter. He graduated from Perrysburg High School and Penta County Vocational School in 1977. Ed worked very hard throughout his life. He was employed at Kern Liebers in Holland, Ohio for over 27 years and most recently at Hearthside Food Solutions in McComb, Ohio. Ed loved collecting vintage license plates, oil cans, and going to car shows. He was a member of the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association (ALPCA) and was considered an authority on Ohio license plates and was well-known throughout Ohio. He was very proud of his 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne and enjoyed cruising and showing it at many of the car shows in the area. He was also a truly devoted family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and remained in close contact with all of his siblings. All of his family will miss his frequent phone calls to check-in and see how we are doing.
Ed is survived by his loving children, his son Justin (Laura) Kleinfelter of Napoleon, Ohio and daughter, Amanda Kleinfelter of Delta, Ohio. He was the very proud grandfather to Bryce, Annaliese, Jeffery, and Melanie. Also surviving are his siblings, Edee (Rodney) Proshek, Joyce (Fritz) Goeckerman, Patricia Bunde, Thomas (Lindy) Kleinfelter, Paula (Mark Joehlin) Kleinfelter, Ronald (Amy) Kleinfelter, and Heidi (Andrew) Beier and brother-in-law, Mike Wells. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Karen Wells, brother, Daniel Kleinfelter, and brother-in-law, Jeff Bunde.
Friends will be received at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133) on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, November 22 at the funeral home starting at 9:30 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m., with Father Thomas Leyland officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery.

Jeanne was born in St. Mary’s, OH. on August 11, 1940 to Clarence and Tencie (Sawmiller) Chatfield. After attending Whitney High School, she married the love of her life, Thomas “Tom” Morgan, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church on January 25, 1958.
Tom and Jeanne went on to have two children, Todd Owen and Juli Kae. They were charter members of Shepherd of the Valley where part of their family still attends today. Jeanne enjoyed teaching Sunday School and participating in Glenwood’s Mother’s Club in Rossford. Tom encouraged her to do things she enjoyed, including her time as a realtor. “Why work when you can have fun?” Working at local gift shops, crafting, antiquing, traveling, music and spending time with friends and family filled her life with joy. Her favorite vacation with Tom was a train trip through the Canadian Rockies.
Left to carry on her legacy of love are her daughter and son-in-law, Juli and John Steinmetz of Perrysburg; granddaughter, Sara (Doug) Balsmeyer; and their children, Ezekiel, Micah and Tabitha of Walbridge; granddaughter, Alexis Morgan (Frank Guccione) of Commerce City, CO.; grandson, Jonathon Morgan (Kerrin Treas) of Monroe, MI.; and sister, Patsy (John) Lucas of Dungannon, VA. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rosemary Wells; her son, Todd O. Morgan; and her hubby of 59 years, Thomas Lee Morgan.

She was a certified historical interpreter and educator working for the Montgomery County Historical Society and Carillon Historical Park in Dayton, Ohio and the Metroparks and the Wolcott House Museum in Lucas County. She also saw her life as a “pastor’s wife” in the United Methodist Church as a responsibility, if not always a blessing. She was, undoubtedly, the great love of her husband’s life and her daughter was her greatest source of pride and delight.

Benny (Pops) Murphy went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2019, at his home in Walbridge, Ohio surrounded by his family. He was born on February 2, 1943 in Thomson Georgia to David and Bertha Murphy.
He is leaving behind the love of his life, his lovely wife of 42 years Beverly Murphy, son Ken (Laurie) Auger, daughter Laura (Brad) Murphy and Brett (Nicole) who was like a son to him. His grandchildren Cameron (Emily), Kendra (Chris), Kayla (Josh), Lindsi & Nichole (Matt). Great grandchildren Gavin, Natalee, Charlotte, Sophia and Emmaline. Sisters, Dot (Roger) Harlow, Linda (Milton) Williams, Lois and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents, brothers, Robert, Paul, Earl, Marvin and his sister Betty.
His life was devoted to his family and his wife Bev. He loved being with his family especially his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. He served in the Marine Corps serving as a Lance Corporal, he was very honored to serve our country. He worked for General Motors Company (Powertrain/Toledo) as a job setter until his retirement.
He loved fishing, shooting at the range, riding motorcycles, camping and looking at old cars. He also enjoyed traveling to his sisters in South Carolina and Virginia and he especially loved driving around in his Polaris. He loved sitting outside in the sun where he could enjoy a nice book.
Benny was loved by so many and his family will continue to cherish his legacy and live on through the lessons he has taught us all. The only lesson he didn’t teach us was how to go on without him, but he is now our guardian angel and he will forever be missed.

Graduating magna cum laude in 2011 with an Associate of Applied Business, E-Business Technology degree.
Karen was a faithful member of Foundation Stone Church in Northwood, Ohio. She was an avid reader, talented in art and music (she was a singer in a band), and creative writing. She was an advocate for the importance of education and independent thinking. She felt her greatest achievement was being a mother to her son. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Karen is survived by her son, Joshua Leganik; father, Stephen (Kay Hoagland) Fowler; mother, Susan (Cox) Fowler; Josh’s father and friend, David Leganik; sister, Amy Fowler; brother, Sean Fowler; Josh’s paternal grandparents, Linda Leganik and Bob Comte; uncle, Dan (Julia Duffy) Fowler; aunt, Mary Lou Cox, and uncle, Michael Cox. Robert proudly served our country in the United States Marines as a Corporal in World War II in the 13th Marine Regiment; was with the 5th Marine Division at the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945 and with the occupation forces in Japan. Robert married Lois Jean “Teeny” Dunn on June 4, 1949 in Custar, Ohio and they have shared 70 years together.
Robert was a life member of the Perrysburg American Legion Post 28 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of the Marine Corps Association and the 5th Marine Division Association. He was a lifelong member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg.
Along with his wife, Lois, he is survived by his three children, David (Florence) Romaker, Jerry (Sharel) Romaker and Rosemary (Mark) Mantor; six grandchildren, David (Dana) Jr., Kyle, Brandon, Morgan, Nathan and Cassandra; five great-grandchildren, Dean, Addison, Jane, Brett and Jacobi and two brothers, Edward and Richard Romaker. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Jane, his parents and two sisters-in-law, Stefania and Doris Jeanine.

Tom is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jean (Gunderman) Haar; children, Michael Haar of Perrysburg, Ohio, Jennifer (Rick) Elliott of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Susan (Steven) Smith of Saint Augustine, Florida; grandchildren, Pierson and Parker Smith, and Noah and Graeme Elliott; brothers, Jim (Elise) Haar, John (Jan) Haar; sister Pat (the late Joe) Anderson.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Fred Haar.

Among other employment, she worked for 24 years at Sears, retiring in 1985. She was born again spiritually at the former Bridgeway Church of the Nazarene in Perrysburg. She was a lady of great faith and loved the Lord. Doris was an avid gardener, bowler and Scrabble player.
Doris is survived by her son, Richard (Tracy) Christel of Perrysburg, OH; two grandchildren, Kimberley (Dean) Black of Jacksonville, FL and Julie (David) Scalf of Madison, AL; eight great- grandchildren: Nathan, Savannah, Hunter, Alanna, Silas, Alex, Aaron and Ryan, all loved very much. Many nieces and nephews and special niece, Pat Wollam. Sue worked for The Andersons for 47 years, retiring in 2013, and made many, many friends and acquaintances. Sue loved to travel and had been in every state except Alaska.
Sue is also survived by her mother, Irene Gonyer; sister, Patricia Carr (Henry), North Vernon, IN; granddaughter, Lily Sue Reither; grandson, Noah Reither; step-grandchildren, Zach Ross, Alex Ross, Adrianna Losoya, Alana Losoya, and Aleisia Losoya; nephews, David and Wade Carr.
Preceded in death by her father, William Gonyer and nephew, Jason Carr.

She was an avid reader, loved to knit and work puzzles. She loved to laugh and spend time with her family.

She prided herself on her independence; she lived alone and was still driving at the age of 91. Although Lucille had a walker, she never used it for fear of looking old.
