Timothy had a huge heart with alot of love. He was a devoted husband to Rose and even after their divorce they remained friends for their children and grandchildren. He would do anything he could to help his family and he loved them very much. Timothy had a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He worked as a mechanic his entire life. He loved rock music especially iron maiden. He loved to camp out with his brothers from New Jersey, Ray, Bob, Robert and Mike and Matt. Tim enjoyed having a good time traveling to Biloxi. He was a great father showed us to support his daughters when they had school events. Time worked hard and provided for his family. He joined the air force for a short time. He often talked about the great parties. He spoke often about his son in New Jersey. Although he didn't have much time raising him he loved him deeply, he often checked facebook to see how he was doing. Not a day went by that he didn't  love and miss his son. Tim always claimed to be atheist with his friends, but when he arrived in Georgia in 2006 his life changed. He loved his wife and began to attend church at Jubilee Church in Ochlocknee. He loved Pastor Robert Young and Granny Jo and Papa George. They encouraged him to put God First. He was saved in that church and remarried Rose a second time there. He also attended Victory Baptist Church in Thomasville.
He lived in New Jersey for many years graduated high school in Plainfield. He loved dogs and absolutely hated cats but even though he did he raised Matt's cat never the less since Matt's passing. He spent his days listening to books on his phone. He loved to read but his eyes were failing over the years. So he had to have the read to him. He was manager for TLE in Walmart in Thomasville where he had many friends he thought of as family. He loved when Mr. Bill show up and mow his lawn. He and Matt would talk for hours. Mr. Bill was his best friend he would tell us.
Tim's life was full of love from his family and friends. Over the years him and Rose claimed many children as their own. They would be in there lives from a young age to adults. He will truly be missed by so many. No matter what life dealt Tim over the years he was a strong man. He would always have something to say that keep us going. His famous quote "you're a Tilden fight you can do this" If Tim could write a letter it would look like this. Dear family and friends,
I'm sorry that I wont be there now my time on earth is done. I had to go to Matt, mom and dad and the rest of the big party in heaven. Cause I was a few days late on Matts birthday. I'm sorry my girls I cant walk down the aisles with you on your wedding day. But I know ill be with you all in love and joyous moments. Angelica that you for you and Wesley for helping me through these hard times I hope I wasn't a burden cause as you know I was stubborn I like to do it myself take care of Alan and Sophia and remember I'll always love you and thankful for all you done. I'm sorry I wont see the new baby but you girls know I love you and I loved all those grandbabies. Sis I know you are alone now left to hold it down until I see you again but I always loved you. Julia I know I left you with a lot to handle but I want you to know I loved to hear you sing, I'm always proud of you raise Annabelle knowing I loved her and please know you can graduate and do anything cause you're a Tilden. Margaret I love you so much.
I may not have always gotten things right with us and I'm sorry. But please forgive me and enjoy your life with David and be happy. I'm so proud of you. To all of my adopted children thank you for your help over the years, for the love and help when I was down. I know I need you more now than then because I am home and I need you to be there for my girls and Rose. To my brothers of Jersey no more parties campgrounds and fishing and canoeing. But as you are rolling down the rivers of life Ill see you and as the wind blows threw the speakers of loud rock I'll be there. Have a beer for me guys one last fire and know I love you all good bye my family and friends forever love Tim. Obituary written by Rose Tilden
