Obituary Preview: Roberta (Bert) Lynn Benson, 66, of McKeesport, died peacefully at home on Friday, March 1, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family and her daughters at her side. Roberta was born August 1, 1957, in McKeesport; she was the daughter of the late Ray and Dolores Jean (Hedley) Suarez and the wife of the late Randy Benson, the love of her life.

She was thankful for every day she saw the sun shining and heard the birds chirping (or that damn dog, even if she would never admit it).

She touched so many lives by sharing her love, always trying to make everyone's day a little brighter. She touched many people's lives over the years, working in the Emergency Room at McKeesport Hospital, where she also met dear friends who became family.
Roberta is survived by her daughters, Kris Stitt of Monroeville and Michele Cramer of Perryopolis; son, Michael (Nikki) Jackson of Smock; granddaughters, Brianna, Alayna, Taylor, and Braelyn; her sister & best friend, Debbie (Gil) Cortes and "Her Boys" Sparkle and Magic, who never left her side.
