Passed away quietly on April 15, 2022, following a long illness. She had many gifts and talents. Born on September 7, 1953, and a 1971 graduate of Fox Chapel Area High School, Anne attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, graduating from there with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature in 1975.  Early in her career, she worked as a copy editor for Gimbels Department store in Pittsburgh, and then Parker Hunter Investments.  She later moved to Philadelphia, and for 3 years worked at the Morris Arboretum at the University of Pennsylvania, and for a number of years in the administrative offices of Chestnut Hill College.  She then returned to her home in Pittsburgh, and worked for a time at the Frick Art & Historical Center.  One of her favorite quotes was from T.S. Eliot, who wrote. "Most editors are failed writers, but then again, so are most writers."
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. E. Kenneth Vey and Joanne D. Vey. She is survived by her four brothers, Paul (Mary), Scott (Rose), Mark and Eric (Theresa),  as well as five nieces and a nephew.
Funeral and burial will be private.

John was born on June 18, 1929 in Etna. He was the son of Albert and Loretta Waldfogle and was one of five children. He was a graduate of Etna High School where he played on the Football and Basketball teams. He also graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. John served in the Korean War with U. S. Army and was also in the National Guard. He worked in Data Processing for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp.
John was a member of the Etna Elks Lodge BPOE #932, where he was a past Exalted Ruler in 1960. His hobbies included badminton, horseshoes and gardening especially strawberries raspberries and tomatoes.

Barbour and Elizabeth A. (Ron) Roth; cherished grandmother of John C. Barbour, Renee E. Barbour and Isabella M. Barbour; sister of Mary Doris Sloan and the late Katherine Louise Holliday.
Raised in Highland Park, Ann was a graduate of Peabody High School. She worked for Carnegie Tech, Harmar Rehabilitation Center, the Three Rivers Arts Festival and was a successful Realtor at Merrill Lynch Realty.  Ann was an avid antiquarian and loved scouring the tri-state area for antiques. She practiced yoga and was an avid gardener.  She was a long time member of the Fox Chapel Racquet Club organizing and running many paddle tennis tournaments and parties. Ann was an accomplished dancer and a frequent participant on the dance floor. She loved international travel, having visited many exotic places including Thailand, Italy, the Caribbean, Mexico, Bermuda, France and England. Ann loved spending the winter months at her Fort Myers Beach condo. She enjoyed long walks on the beach and shelling. Watching the beautiful sunsets with a glass of chardonnay from her porch was a nightly tradition. Ann was a foodie and enjoyed eating out.  Most of all Ann loved and cherished her grandchildren and the time spent with them.

Age 94, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorraine, whom he was married to for 66 years. His infant son, Kenneth, his parents, Anthony and Mary (Carricato) Pistoria, his sisters, Rosemarie Secola and Teresa Persichetti. He is survived by his children, Anthony Pistoria, Lorraine Zwergel, Patricia Stover (Lee), Joyce Arnold (Randy), Janice Farine (Alan), Leonard Pistoria (Darren); also 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Julius grew up in Sharpsburg and served in the Korean War with the Army. Later he opened his own hair dressing salon, Julius Hair Fashions, where he worked for more than 40 years. Julius loved and was proud of his family.

Joanne Gould was born in 1926, the daughter of Judge John Mickle Stager and Eudora Downing Stager. She grew up in Sterling, Illinois, and graduated from Wells College in 1948. While working in New York City she met Rodney S. Gould (preceded in death). They were married in 1950 and lived in Pittsburgh since 1951. Her sisters, Clara S. Hockaday and Mary Cecil Etnyre, preceded her in death as did her parents. Surviving her are two sons and a daughter and four grandchildren: Rodney, Jr. (Rosaline), Trevor and Angus; Anne; and Courtland (Sherri), Bennett and Allison.
Her years of volunteer work in fields of social work included The Lighthouse for the Blind and St. George's Settlement House in New York City; the Arsenal Health Center in Lawrenceville; the Children's Home of Pittsburgh, social service boards of Presbyterian Hospital and St. Margaret Memorial Hospital; tutoring at Rogers Elementary School in Garfield; and was a charter member of Parents Anonymous. She was active in the League of Women Voters; a member of Fox Chapel Episcopal Church; and a charter member of the Fox Chapel Racquet Club.
Joanne enjoyed tennis most of her life, reading, family pets, and most of all, she cherished gatherings of family and friends which included the house parties she and Rod hosted at their summer home on the upper Allegheny River near Tionesta. Among travels with her husband, highlights were a 4,000-mile honeymoon tour of England and the Continent on a pair of lightweight motorcycles and a camping, camera safari in the Serengeti. Age 73, of Fox Chapel, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 20, 1948 in Syracuse, NY. He was the oldest son of Richard and Nancy (Dix) Bellinger.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Catherine (Mahardy); loving father to Deb Morgan (Fritz) of Bedford, NH; Mike Bellinger of Blawnox; Todd Bellinger (Erin Sankey Bellinger) of Avonworth, and Katie Battilana (John) of Valencia; cherished grandfather of Avery and Rylan Morgan of Bedford, NH; Carson and Malaney Bellinger of Avonworth,  Mia and Kira Battilana of Valencia; dear brother of Diane Schillo (Bob), Tom Bellinger (Anita), John Bellinger (Daneen) and Rick Bellinger (Marcia).
Mark attended Christian Brother’s Academy, then LeMoyne College, followed by medical school at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. As a pediatric urologist, Mark loved to wear fun ties to make the kids smile and he was well known for his Donald Duck impersonation.  He developed a passion for helping children in Africa who had limited access to surgeries. He traveled to Ghana, Zambia and Senegal through International Volunteers in Urology, to donate his time to perform back-to-back surgeries for several days, trying to help as many children as possible.
Upon Mark’s retirement from Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, he dove headlong into his other passion, the sport of rowing. He started rowing at Three Rivers Rowing Association for exercise. When his youngest daughter started high school and remarked that rowing looked like fun, Mark decided to revitalize the Fox Chapel Area High School Crew team. He poured his heart and soul into every facet of the team from coaching, fundraising, and student-athlete mentoring. His dedication to the team is evident in the strength it has to this day. He often said about the team: “These kids are the heart of me”.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 13th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home, 100 Center Ave. Aspinwall. A Christian Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 14th at  10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, St. Scholastica Church, 309 Brilliant Ave. Aspinwall. Kenneth "Ken" Scott Mauder - June 22, 1955 - February 07, 2022

He was the beloved husband of Debra Elizabeth Mauder for 35 years; and devoted loving father of Kenneth Stephen Mauder and Nicole Elizabeth Mauder; son of Kenneth Robert Mauder and the late Harriett Ann Mauder; brother of Karan Ann (Kirk) Galbreath, Kerri Louise (John) Schulties and Keith Harrison (Traci) Mauder. Also, survived by many adoring nieces and nephews.
Ken enjoyed spending time with family and friends, serving others, and traveling near and far. Ken’s passions included working in the printing industry, expressing his artistic talent, home improvement projects, landscaping, camping, cooking, seeking new adventures, and was a dedicated member of the Shady Side Academy (SSA) residential life community. Ken embodied living life to the fullest and his legacy will live on with all of those he met along the way.
A private family ceremony will be held in Celebration of Life & Love for Ken.

She worked hard all her life, never missing a day of work. But her family always came first. She loved and took great pride in all her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Julius; her children, Lorraine Zwergel, Patricia Stover (Lee), Joyce Arnold (Randy), Janice Farine (Alan), Leonard Pistoria (Darren) and her stepson, Anthony Pistoria; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; her sisters, Stephanie Snyder (David) and Marlene Pupich (Kenneth).

Loving husband of Constance “Connie” Elizabeth Guggenheimer for 52 years; father of Paul Guggenheimer, Pete Guggenheimer (Amy), and Gregor Guggenheimer; grandfather of Allison and Lucas; Uncle of Sean Brennan; brother in law of Gail Brennan; son of the late Siegfried and Etta Guggenheimer.
Born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia and grew up in the Bronx, New York, raised his family in Highland Park before moving to O’Hara Twp. For 55 years, Dr. Guggenheimer was a professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences in the disciplines of Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He received his bachelor’s degree from the City College of New York in 1958 and obtained his D.D.S. degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 1962. Subsequently he received a Fellowship in Oral Medicine at the Philadelphia General Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He joined the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1966.  He was certified by the American Board of Oral Medicine and was a member of the American Academy of Oral Medicine. He was a recipient of Pitt’s Dental Educator of the Year award in 1974 and the School of Dental Medicine’s Award of Appreciation.
A true patron of the arts, he and his wife Connie regularly attended Pittsburgh Symphony, Pittsburgh Opera and Pittsburgh Ballet performances. He and Connie also travelled to New York to see Broadway plays. They also travelled throughout Europe. He was a runner who participated in Pittsburgh’s Great Race and also was an avid kayaker. A rabid sports fan, he grew up rooting for the New York Giants baseball and football teams and later followed the New York Mets and Jets.

Maryrose was a graduate of St. Paul Cathedral High School, and earned B.A and M.A. (Literature) degrees from The University of Pittsburgh. She taught English in both the Penn Hills School District and the Fox Chapel School District. She served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and Resurrection Choir member at St. Scholastica Church. Yoga, reading, music, bridge, and her friends filled her days.
Friends will be received Thursday, January 27th from 4-8 p.m. at the Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall, where a parting prayer will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish in St. Scholastica Church, 309 Brilliant Avenue, Aspinwall, PA 15215. She is survived by her step children, Patricia D'Amore (Terry), Michael Lynch (Amy), Maureen Gardini (Alex), Kay Lynch (CJ), Colleen Harshman (John); her grandchildren, Lindsay, Ian, Max, Cassie, Matthew, Mead, Mike, Michael, Patrick, Isabella, Clayton, Chloe, Cullen, and Delia; and her great  grandson, Isaac.
Elaine began her work with Family Communications, Inc. and Fred Rogers from the very start of Mister Rogers program in 1967. Operating closely with Fred, she was his administrative assistant working with scripts, speeches and manuscripts. She did that up until his death in 2003 then retiring nearly five years later.

She worked in the Office of the General Counsel at Jones and Laughlin Steel Corporation from 1944 to 1950. She and Bill raised their family in Bethel Park, PA, Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Greensburg, PA. Dorothy taught elementary school in both Idaho Falls and in Pleasant Unity, PA. Dorothy was active in the St. Vincent Basilica Parish in Latrobe and the Botanical Society of Westmoreland County. She was a volunteer for the Latrobe St. Vincent de Paul Store. Dorothy enjoyed nature walks, gardening, reading and traveling. She was curious, interested and engaged in the world around her, and was generous and compassionate. She was a true environmentalist, living lightly on the planet, but making a significant impact on those who knew her.
No Visitation. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 7th at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, St. Joseph Church, 342 Dorseyville Rd., O’Hara Twp. The family will receive friends in the Church Hall following the Mass.
