Obituary Preview: Marian K. Miller, 95, passed on to be with her Jesus, at her home on April 8, 2021. She was born in Loysburg on May 14, 1925 to Jack and Pauline (Bayer) Kagarise. On April 12, 1944 in New Enterprise, she married Jacob Miller. He preceded her in death in November 2013 along with brother Joe and sister Barbara (Kagarise) Robison. Marian was wonderfully devoted to her family. Her best friend and daughter Susanne Marchi, husband Fred of Hollidaysburg; sons, Thom and wife Donna (Lage), Steve and Kathy (Ringler), and Brice and Lisa (Schaeffer), all of Woodbury. She was a loving grandmother to Kristen and Joe Rulewich, Eric and Amy (Metzler) Miller, Lucas and Jennie (Hershberger) Miller, and Abby and Brody Reininger. Her special joys were her nine great-grandchildren; J.T. and Kamryn Rulewich, Reese and Quinn Miller, Carson, Brynn, and Lily Miller, and Kitt and Nash Reininger. Marian was a member of the Woodbury Church of the Brethren and a class of 1943 graduate of Replogle High School. She loved her Jesus and enjoyed reading her bible as she sat at her favorite window and shared that love with those who would walk by. She was a devoted prayer warrior, praying for those she knew and loved. Marian was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. Sunday and Holiday dinners were special and in later years she enjoyed taking them out to lunch. So, as you remember Marian, instead of flowers, pay it forward and take someone to lunch or donate to her church. In keeping with her nature, Funeral Services will be private for the immediate family only. Services will be officiated by Pastors David Ulm and Larry Graybill. Burial will be at Dry Hill Cemetery. Glenn was a Diesel Mechanic by trade and had worked at CS Trucking, Beasley Manufacturing, and Fisher Auto Parts. He enjoyed motorcycles and Lamborghinis. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Robert Clark. Surviving are his wife Laura; children Karissa Baker, Brandon Harris, and Zoey Harris; brother Michael Harris (Trisha); sister Michele Mobley (Alex); and sister Ashley Shoenfelt (Andy). Obituary Preview: Joan L. (Replogle) Ritchey, 77, of Martinsburg, formerly of Woodbury, passed away on February 24, 2021 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. She was born on April 12, 1943 in Roaring Spring; daughter of the late Jesse L. and Sara Kathryn (Honsaker) Replogle. On August 8, 1964 in Martinsburg, she was united in marriage to Herbert Lee Ritchey. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2000 after 36 years of marriage. Joan was secretary at Northern Bedford High School and enjoyed family-time, gardening, golf-cart rides, and knitting. She was a member of the Martinsburg Mennonite Church, where she was church secretary for 34 years. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Herbert and a brother Wendall D. Replogle. Surviving are sons Eric L. Ritchey (Tina), Lincoln P. Ritchey (Jeana), and Patrick L. Ritchey all of Woodbury; grandchildren Tyler Ritchey (Taylor), Dalton Ritchey, Ashley Ritchey, and Darian Ritchey; and siblings Roger Replogle, Donna Dans, Pauline Ceprish, and George Replogle. Friends will be received on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 2:00-4:00PM at the Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury. A graveside funeral service, officiated by Pastor Joe Furry, will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 11:00AM. This will take place at Dry Hill Cemetery with interment afterwards. Wayne Corle came into the world on March 24, 1942, son of Frank Perrin Corle and Mary Fleda (Brumbaugh) Corle.  He has numerous brothers and sisters and he enjoyed tormenting all of them. Wayne married Shirley Jean (Musselman) Corle on November 4, 1966 after a brief courtship.  Wayne and Shirley welcomed their only child, Theresa Ann Corle (Weist) on January 21st 1970 during a severe snowstorm.  Wayne had many hobbies and was always available to help anyone in need.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews and family friends.  He passed away on February 22, 2021.  Interment will be private and a celebration of life will be held for family and friends at a later date. Randy was a Class of 1981 graduate of Northern Bedford High School and a member of the Koontz Church of the Brethren. On August 24, 1991 in Roaring Spring, he was united in marriage to Anita Brumbaugh, she preceded him in death on June 5, 2009. He was employed at New Enterprise Stone & Lime for 24 years as a construction technician. Randy enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and was an avid fan of Pittsburgh Sports. He loved Ford Mustangs and his dog Bella. He was preceded in death by his wife Anita and his father Robert Imler. Surviving are daughter Chelsy Calhoun of Woodbury; mother Myrtle Jane Hanks of Everett; brother Robert Dale Imler Jr. and wife Marylin of New Enterprise; brother Rick Imler and wife Shanda of Roaring Spring; and niece Leah Park. Weaver; he preceded her in death on December 23, 2011. Pearl was a Class of 1947 graduate of Saxton Liberty High School. She was a member of the Raven Run Church of the Brethren but most recently attended the Beavertown Church of God. Pearl was a kind and generous woman who put others before herself. She loved reading her bible and lived a good life. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Donald as well as 19 siblings. Surviving are son Brian E. Weaver and companion Rachel Nanette of Saxton; son Barry D. Weaver and wife Anna (Miller) Weaver of Saxton; three grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Due to COVID-19, services will be held privately. On the afternoon of Sunday, December 27th, 2020, surrounded by his beloved wife and children, David J. Metzger (72) was called to his eternal home in heaven by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
David was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, unto George Metzger and wife Carolyn (Weighaman) on July 3rd, 1948. He graduated from Altoona High School in 1966, and served in the United States Navy where he specialized in Underwater Demolition. While on leave, during the summer of 1969, his life was forever changed when he met his future wife and soulmate, Catherine. (Kennedy) Upon honorable discharge from the military, David enrolled, attended, and graduated from Penn State University in 1972. Shortly following his graduation, he and Catherine were married on July 8th, 1972.
David is survived by his aforementioned wife Catherine, daughter Rachel and her husband Stephen Ellenberger, son Jacob and his wife Jacqueline, (Martin) a very special grandson Silas Ellenberger, and his sister Brenda and her husband Mark Yeager. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Dresden Ellenberger, for whom with he is now gloriously reunited. David loved animals, and is also survived by his beloved hound-dog Ellie, and his five cats; Possum, Dexter, Dusty, Squirty and Sammy.
David was an extremely talented and multi-faceted craftsman, as well as a skilled artist, passionate musician, avid outdoorsman, historian, and most recently, cigar aficionado. He provided an abundance of mentorship, direction and loving inspiration to many friends and family throughout his life. Some even consider him as their hero, and his presence will undoubtably be missed by everyone who loved him so deeply.
At the request of his family, please help memorialize the life of David by contributing your own personal memories, stories, conversations, quotes, and most importantly photographs. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date, where these memories will be shared in his honor.

Obituary Preview: Dorothy Ann Replogle, 89, from Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of New Enterprise, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on December 12, 2020.  She was born on January 2, 1931 in New Enterprise; daughter of the late Chalmer and Ella Fae (Brumbaugh) Grubb. On January 27, 1951 at the United Methodist Parsonage in Martinsburg, she was united in marriage to Donald B. Replogle, her high school sweetheart. He preceded her in death on April 12, 2020, just eight short months prior. Dot was a Replogle High School Class of 1949 graduate and a lifetime member of the Loysburg United Methodist Church. Dot’s family was her pride and joy, she would light up when she would see them and was quick to make them the center of attention.  Dot suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and although it robbed her of most of her golden years, Dot never lost her ability to pray and thank God for her family and the children in it. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, square dancing, playing the piano and organ, attending church, any musical entertainment, and attending plays at Old Bedford Village. She was a hardworking and dedicated dairy farmer all of her life, owning Three Spring Run Farm along with her husband.   She drove a school bus for many years and was active with the Pennsylvania Farmer’s Association.  Dot was well known for welcoming people into her home with a smile and offering a cup of hot tea.   She will be deeply missed by her family and all those who knew her.
Dot was preceded in death by her husband Donald; a great-granddaughter Milly Jean Replogle; and siblings Nancy Wilson, Flora Mae Gamble, Dick Grubb, and Joe Grubb. Surviving are son Steve Replogle and wife Cindy of New Enterprise; son Dennis Replogle and wife Sandy of Hopewell Twp.; son Allen Replogle and wife Angie of New Enterprise; grandchildren Mandi Cottle (Steve), Casey Salyards (Adam), Nathaniel Replogle (Laura), Ethan Replogle (Amanda), Mason Replogle, Carter Replogle, and Aiden Replogle; great-grandchildren Riley, Logan, and Braden Cottle; Lucy Salyards; and Aria and Gannon Replogle; and siblings Ray Grubb, Margie Sovercool, John Gamble, Mary Ruth McClain, and Tom Gamble. Due to COVID-19 regulations and restrictions services will be held privately. Interment will be in Baker-Replogle Cemetery. He served his county as a member of the United States Army from 1959-1962. During this time, he received medals in both sharp shooting and good conduct. Charles Homer Graffius was promoted to glory on December 3, 2020 at the age of 92 due to COVID in Fort Atkinson, WI.  Surviving are his son, Donald (Linda) Graffius of New Enterprise, PA, daughter Cindi (James) McKenzie of New Enterprise, PA, and daughter-in-law Jan Graffius of Soddy-Daisy, TN, as well as step-children, numerous grandchildren, step- grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Anne Bedi and his second wife Lorna Austin and son, Rev. Larry E. Graffius.  He is also survived by a brother, Joseph Weston Graffius of Hollidaysburg, PA and was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 1 brother.
He was born January 4, 1928 to Homer B. Graffius and Myrtle Stoner Graffius and grew up in Altoona, PA.  He graduated from Altoona High School, the Altoona Bible Institute and Penn State University, earning a degree in Early Childhood Education.  He also attended Fuller Theological Seminary.  He served his country during WWII as an instructor at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds.  After discharge he married Anne Bedi, on Dec. 24, 1947 and after her death in 1990, married Lorna Austin in 1994.
For more than 30 years he served as the Pastor of the German Seventh Day Baptist Church in Salemville, Pennsylvania.  He also pastored Seventh Day Baptist (SDB) churches in Los Angeles, California and Denver, Colorado.  He assisted the chaplain at the Fairhaven Community Center in Whitewater, Wisconsin where he served as President of the Resident Council and lived there until his death.
Before the advent of DVDs, he founded the Media Project.  This non-profit organization rented Christian video tapes and movies by mail to churches and camps across the country.  He traveled across the country filming SDB Conference and church events.
He was enthusiastically involved in denominational teen ministries having served on numerous occasions as director of church camps from New Jersey to California.  Moreover, for more than 10 years he instructed U.S. college students and high school seniors preparing to enter the Summer Christian Service Corps.  He was still teaching Sabbath School and at camps in his 70s and 80s.
He served on the governing body of the Seventh Day Baptist General Conference, USA and Canada and in 1981, he served as President of the General Conference.  His theme was “Grow With God”.  He trained SDB churches in evangelism in the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
He was one of the founders and organizers of the Senior Saints.  This group of retired Seniors remodeled Seventh Day Baptist churches and camps from Alfred Station, New York to Boulder, Colorado.
A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the German Seventh Day Baptist Church in Salemville, PA. She was born on April 1, 1924 in Bellwood; daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Florabelle (Fogle) Campbell. On December 25, 1948 in Curryville, PA, she was united in marriage to J. Leonard Furry; he preceded her in death on February 22, 1992. Fay was a graduate of Bellwood High School and alongside her husband in partnership with family members operated Furry’s Orchard in New Enterprise. She was also a long-term employee of Orlo Boyd’s General Store, in New Enterprise. Fay was a member of the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren and the Woodbury Senior Citizens. She had a 100% voting record, never missed a vote, including this past November. Fay enjoyed church and church activities and entertaining in her home. She loved playing games with children, and telling them stories. You could always count on Fay serving you apple or cherry pie with coffee and a side of ice cream. She always wore a smile, maintained her sense of humor, and never met anyone she couldn’t befriend. She was preceded in death by her husband J. Leonard Furry and siblings Sarah Margaret “Sis” Campbell Nagle, Joseph Campbell, Kenneth Campbell, Pauline Campbell Laird White, and William Campbell. Surviving are son James E. Furry and wife Ann of Conway, SC; daughter Beverly A. Wakefield and husband Jim of Bedford; grandson Christopher M. Furry and wife Victoria; grandson Derek J.
