Obituary Preview: Geraldine ‘Geri’ Willard, 91, of Danville, formerly of Westville, passed away at 6:56am, Saturday, April 23, 2022, at her home.  She was born the daughter of Adhemar and Leona {Williamson} Finet on November 13, 1930, in Midway, Westville, Illinois.  She married Paul Willard on November 23, 1946.      She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Danny) Hillary of Catlin, Marilyn Willard of Westville, Vickie Johnson of Westville, Teresa (Rick) Magers of Tilton and bonus daughter, Jackie Ledwon; her grandchildren, Todd Kupcik of Westville, Angela (Todd) Green of Georgetown, Tracy (Dave) McCrae of Catlin, Holly McMasters of Georgetown, Joshua Johnson of Westville, Ryan Cox of Danville, Justin Johnson of Las Vegas, NV, and Rachel Cox of Tilton; her 15 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Edwina Finet of Monticello; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; her daughter & son-in-law, Paula & Dennis Devore; her sister, Carole Toth; her brother, Arthur Finet; and a great-great grandson.      Geri attended Georgetown High School.  She retired from Tee-Pak.  After retirement, she and Paul founded Granny Goose Fashions.  She liked to watch Chicago Cubs and Illini games.  She also enjoyed playing Bingo, Skipbo, and doing pencil art.  She also loved looking at all the many, many pictures of her grandkids she had displayed everywhere.     A celebration of Geri’s life will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883 with Pastor John Mincey officiating.  Visitation will be held 11:30am to 1:00pm on Thursday prior to her service at the funeral home.  She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.  Memorial donations may be given in her name to donor’s choice of charity.  Please join her family in sharing memories through her Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.

Susan was born June 10, 1956 in Tuscola, IL the daughter of George and Geneva {Argurieo} Allen. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Michael Roberts, until his passing on July 8, 2012.      Susan leaves behind her two children, Melissa (Michael) Courtwright and John (Ashley) Roberts; four grandchildren, Matthew Roberts, Liam, Jackson, & Titus Courtwright; her siblings, George (Claudia) Allen, Cindy (Jim) Keeler, Deb (Greg) Urbanouski, & Kris (Donnie) Issler.  She was preceded in death by her dad and her husband.      Susan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, collecting things, listening to music, and just creating fun times.  Above all she enjoyed spending as much time with family as she could and with the people she loved.       A visitation will be held on Thursday April 14, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, 414 S State street Westville Illinois 61883, from 11am – 2pm. He will be dearly missed by his two daughters; Lydia (Jason) Mitchell and Patty Crippin; his love, Becky Mireles and her children, Kyla (Justin) Shaw, Cheri (Pedro) Ocampo, and Kari (Mike) Cunningham; grandchildren, Samantha, David, Lainey, James, Logan, Kursten, Mareli, Mateo, Tymperance, Dallas, and two Great grandchildren; siblings, Terry (Sandy), Vickie, Ricky, and Judy. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Randy Crippin; nephew, Josh Crippin.
Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, going up north on fishing trips, working outside, and helping others with anything. He loved being a truck driver and getting to travel. Obituary Preview: Pauline Baszis, 84, of Danville, passed away at 5:00pm, Saturday, March 12, 2022, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville, IL.  She was born on November 1, 1937, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of George and Rose {Piesko} Morris.      Pauline worked as a checker at Eagles when Benedict Baszis would make sure to get in her line with his purchase of peaches.  She commented to him that those would make a great peach cobbler and the rest was history.  On April 21, 1998, Pauline was united in marriage to Benedict.  He will miss her dearly.      She will also be missed by her children, Jean (Ron) Sroufek, Toni (Jeff) Skinner, Lisa (Jim) Jones, Frank (Rae Ann) Harvey, Matt (Tish) Harvey; her daughter-in-law, Stephanie Harvey; her stepchildren, Rita (Jerry) Lomax, Tony (Jody) Baszis, & Julie (Bill) McDonald; her 19 grandchildren; and her 21 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, George Harvey; her granddaughter, Haley Jones; and her first husband, Franklin Harvey.      Pauline enjoyed many activities such as crocheting, gardening, mushroom hunting, and going bowling.  She also enjoyed gambling and playing Bingo.  Pauline loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.        A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 231 N. Obituary Preview: Bonnie Mills, 72, of Danville, passed away at 7:15pm, Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.  She was born in Sacramento, California on August 25, 1949, the daughter of Clarence Jay and Hester Tyler.  She was wed to Richard Mills on July 2, 1972 and have enjoyed 49 years together.  He will miss her dearly.      She will also be missed by her children, Lisa Davis, Patricia Gonzales, Crystal Edwards, Christina (Jodie) Hamand, Mariah Mills, & Jacob Mills; her twenty grandchildren; her 11 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Sharon Marrow, Beverly Fleetwood, Tom Tyler, Mary Ann Fitzpatrick, & Marion Lowe.  She will also be missed by her faithful dog, Holly.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sons, Corey & Matthew Mills.      Bonnie had worked in housekeeping for an area hotel for many years.  She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, word searches, and coloring.  She attended and loved going to Maranatha Baptist Church in Covington.  She was known to be a caring wife, mother, & grandmother who doted on her grandchildren and was forever worried about her sweetheart, Richard, and keeping him out of trouble. Obituary Preview: James “Jim” Hardy, 81, of Westville, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. He was born on August 6, 1940, in Saginaw, MI, the son of Virgil and Mary (Fulara) Hardy.
He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Tammy (Don) Coon and Trudy (Kenneth) Rose; brother, Jack (Sue) Hardy; sisters, Josephine Maxwell, and Sharon McMasters; grandchildren, Philip Coon, Patrick Coon, Hunter (Victoria) Rose, and Kyle Rose; great granddaughter Harley Rogers, several nieces and nephews.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dolores Vilk, Martha Stewart, Kathleen Bunting, Virgene Mascari and his beloved friend Donna Kelly.
Jim Graduated from Schlarman High School in 1959.  He worked several years at General Motors before retiring in 1992.  Jim enjoyed watching his beloved Illini, Chicago Cubs and Bears. He had a very strong faith and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westville. Jim enjoyed playing euchre and poker with his friends and getting together for breakfast with his classmates.  One thing he cherished most of all was spending time with his family, especially the family picnics, super bowl parties, and Christmas gatherings.  He let everyone know that he was so proud of his grandchildren and great granddaughter.  Jim was known to many as the life of the party and could make anyone laugh.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00am on Monday, February 14, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westville. Obituary Preview: The Lord called Loretta Cowell, 76, of Westville, home on Friday February 4, 2022.  She was born in Danville, IL on April 12, 1945, the daughter of Anton and Anne Betkis. Both parents preceded her in death.      On November 6, 1971 Loretta (Betkis) Cowell married Mylon Cowell, who preceded her in death almost two years prior. Loretta also leaves behind three siblings, Jim (Diane) Betkis of Merrimac, WI, Donna (Michael) Lovejoy of Westville, IL and Kathy (Stan) Pintar of Williamsport, IN; her six children and their families, Keith (Lisa) Cowell of Guam, USA and their children, Devin, Grant, and Kindle Rose, Matt (Erica) Cowell of Morris, IL and their children, Griffyn, Gwynn, and Myles, Eric Cowell of Westville, IL, Lynette Evans of Tilton, IL and their children, Teddy and Anna, Doug (Megan) Cowell of Normal, IL and their child Kinsley, Carol (Tim) Poletti of Troy, IL and their children, Brenden and Emilie.      Loretta attended Schlarman High School in Danville, IL. She then continued her education by graduating from St. Elizabeth’s College of Nursing program in Danville, IL. After becoming a registered nurse her deep compassion for people and caring spirit drove her to be a devoted nurse for over 50 years. She had such a kind spirit, and so many of her friends and co-workers referred to her as sweet Loretta.       Some of her time in clinicals was spent at (St. Francis Hospital-Pediatrics) Children’s Hospital in Peoria, IL, and then later at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Danville, IL. For a while she worked as a traveling nurse enjoying such locations as Jamaica, Canada, and Florida. She later continued her work as an RN stateside at the VA Medical Center in Danville, IL. After moving to Pontiac, IL she worked at St. James Hospital and Humiston Haven Retirement Home. She then spent the remainder of her time as an RN at (St. Elizabeth’s/Lakeview) Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, IL. She retired from nursing in May of 2010 to spend more time with her husband (Mylon) and extended family. During their retirement the devoted couple kept very busy with countless visits to see their children and grandchildren. They also had many family adventures including various cruises and other destinations such as the Dakotas, Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand.     Loretta was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Ever since she was a little girl she was very artistically talented. She had always enjoyed drawing, painting, photographing, crafting, and especially later on, card making and scrapbooking. Her passion for art and her caring nurturing spirit was faithfully displayed in her love for creating countless birthday cards, holiday cards, and custom scrapbooks for her many loved ones.      Visitation will be held on Thursday February 17, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883. Her funeral mass will be held on Friday February 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westville, IL. Burial Services will be held directly afterwards at the VA Pavilion in Danville, IL. Loretta will be laid to rest in the VA Cemetery with her lifelong love, Mylon. Obituary Preview: Charlotte Hart, 96, of Westville, was called home to heaven on January 22, 2022, to reunite with her husband, Paul and her three sons, Paul Jr, Larry, and Richard Hart. Charlotte was born on February 27, 1925, to John and Helen (Becker) Sliva of Georgetown. Beside her husband and three sons, she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John, and Jacob Sliva.
Surviving is her sister, Betty Porcheddu of Indianapolis, Indiana; niece, Scarlett (Stan) Melecosky of Westville; nephew, Steve (Karen) Sliva of Georgetown; her special friends, Betty Ingrum and DiAnn Cottle of Westville.
Charlotte worked at various jobs including, General Electric and Danville Area Community College. She loved traveling and camping while her boys were growing up. Charlotte was a member of the Westville American Legion Auxiliary and Trinity United Church of Christ in Westville. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and most of all, she loved to cook for her boys. Charlotte loved and lost many friends and relatives in her 96 years. She was very grateful for her friends and neighbors who brought her food when she was incapable of cooking and the home care takers who were so thoughtful and kind to her. Charlotte was a very sweet lady.
A Celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Trinity United Church of Christ, 311 Moses Ave, Westville, Illinois, with David Roberts-Mosser officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to the service at the church. She will be laid to rest at McKendree Cemetery. He preceded her in death.
Vi leaves behind one son Walter “Butch” (Shirley) Meeker, three grandchildren; Kelly Meeker, Ron Weddle and Wendy Weddle, four great grandchildren; Barbie Wright, Justin (Alisha) Cox, Kelsey (Drew) Roberts Boring and Zach (Karyn) Weddle, four great great grandchildren; Ava Cox, Paislee Boring, Jackson and Decklan Weddle.
Vi was preceded in death by her parents, husband,a grandson Wally Meeker, siblings, nieces and nephews.
Vi loved going every weekend in the nice weather to Kentucky Lake fishing. She enjoyed reading her bible, doing word searches most of all she loved to spend time with her family. Obituary Preview: Caroline Pridemore, 97, of Westville, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at her home. she was born on January 4, 1925, in Westville, IL, the daughter of Nicholas and Anna (Barney) Lipowsky. Caroline was united in marriage to Marshall D. Pridemore on February 15, 1942. He preceded her in death.       She will be dearly missed by her children, Marshall (Dianne) Pridemore of Clackamas, OR, Paul (Carol) Pridemore of Covington, IN, Thomas (Kathy) Pridemore of Popular Bluff, MO and Debra Zoerb of Ridge Farm, IL; grandchildren, Annette Warbritton, Marianne Richard, John Pridemore, Robert Pridemore, Paula Brasel, Sherry Phelps, Sally Machala, Thomas Pridemore, Andrew Pridemore, and David Zoerb. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Anna Marie; great granddaughter, Anastasia Zoerb; son in law, Stephen Zoerb, three brothers, and two sisters.       Caroline enjoyed many things in life including sewing, needlepoint, reading poems, as well as gardening, crossword puzzles, and singing. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ.  She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren.  She will be fondly remembered by all those whose lives she touched.        A Celebration of Caroline’s life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Westville, Illinois, 414 S. Obituary Preview: Joan Marie {Norvilitis} Foyer, 82, of Westville, lost her battle with cancer on January 8, 2022.  She was born in Westville, IL, on June 23, 1939, to Walter ‘Scales’ Norvilitis and Elizabeth {Mayoros} Norvilitis.  She was married to Ramon L. Foyer on December 31, 1960, and they enjoyed 34 years together until his passing in September of 1994.      Joan taught at St. Mary’s School in Westville, Westville Junior High, Westville High School, Northridge in Danville, and Schlarman High School.  Her career spanned over four decades and her family likes to joke that she taught almost everyone in the area.  Joan was a devout Catholic.  She played the organ, sang and directed choirs in Westville and Danville.  She also sang and played for many weddings and funerals.  She was a member of the Danville Light Opera, an avid bowler, Euchre player, voracious reader, loved any trivia game, travel to various places and was famous for her road trips.      Joan was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She will be dearly missed by her children, Beth (John) Quigley, Debra (Stan) Michelin, Ramon (LaShay) Foyer, and Michele (Dan) Schuster; her grandchildren, Adrienne (Robert) Phelps, Jessica Quigley, Cathy (Ronny) Muller, Jerrica (Chadd) Snyder, Katie Schuster, Allison (Chase) Haynes, Shannon (Drake) Quigley, Brooklyn Miller, McKayla Miller, Emily Schuster, Jenna Foyer, and Devon Miller; her great grandchildren,  Irelynn Phelps, Ava Phelps, Alyssa Muller, Aurora Muller, RJ Muller, Emmitt Snyder, Iann Snyder, Peyton Dickerson, Douglas McIntosh, Mackenzy McIntosh, & Amelia McIntosh; her Aunt Karen Mayors; her sisters, Cathy (Abu) Alam, Martha (Ed) Levin, & Mary (Joe) Tamalunis.  Greeting her when she passed were her parents, Walter & Elizabeth Norvilitis; her sister, Walta Norvilitis; her brother, Steve Norvilitis; and her husband, Ramon Foyer.      A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883 with Father Loftus officiating.  Visitation will be held 10:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday prior to her service at the funeral home. Obituary Preview: George Arthur White, 87, of Tilton, went to meet his Lord and reunite with his sweetheart, Betty Lou, on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 6:06am, at the home of his daughter with his children by his side.      He was born on January 31, 1934, to James and Suzie {Hashman} White.  He was famously born in a box car in Vermilion Heights in Danville, IL, becoming the fourth child of 11 siblings.        George met the love of his life, Betty Lou Swider, and they were married May 4, 1958, in Westville, IL.  They enjoyed 61 years together until her passing on September 16, 2019, and he had longed for the day he would get to see her again.      He will be dearly missed by his children, Timothy (Marianne) White and Darla White; his grandchildren, Katy (Kaden) Walton, Bri (Jacob) White, and Carter White; his first great grandson due in May of 2022; his siblings, Charles White of Florida, Albert White, and Linda White.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Lou, and his siblings, Carl, Robert, Herschel, Billy, Henry, Mary, Nancy, and infant brother, Jerry.      George served honorably and proudly in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and had many stories to share.  He worked for Miss Fairhall, the Box Factory, General Motors, Bullock Garages, and County Market-North.  He enjoyed bluegrass music and was a member of the Vermilion River Boys, with his brothers, Bob & Henry.  He loved playing his banjo, as well as listening to banjos.  He also sang with his wife and daughter at Calvary Baptist Church where they were longtime members.  His hobbies included woodworking, gardening, mushroom hunting, and eating nuts.  His family were everything to him and was blessed to enjoy his final Christmas with them all.  The family would like to thank Connie Ford for her wonderful care of him for the past several months.      A celebration of George’s life will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, January 7, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1632 Georgetown Road, Danville, IL, 61832, with Pastor Joe Humrichous, a dear family friend, and Pastor Dan Kitinoja officiating.  Visitation will be held 10:30am to Noon on Friday prior to his service at the Church.  He will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery, Danville.  Memorial donations to Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Betty Lou.  Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883 was honored to assist his family with arrangements.  Please join his family in sharing memories through his Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.

Obituary Preview: Roseann Cumbow, 72, of Westville, passed away at 7:15pm, Sunday, December 26, 2021, at her home.  She was born on September 3, 1949, in Danville, the daughter of Eugene and Lucille {Slazas} Marriage.  She was united in marriage to Kenneth Cumbow on March 23, 1974.  He survives.      She is also survived by her children, Jessica Cumbow (grand dog, Zoey) of Westville, and Joel (Ashley) Cumbow (grand dog, Major Joe) of Jacksonville Beach, FL; her siblings, Tom (Karen) Marriage & Lenora (Dave) Willhite; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.      Before having children, Roseann worked at the Elks Blood Bank and Morris Flamingo.  She ran a daycare at home while constantly being able to shuttle her kids as well as others to numerous school events.  She later worked at County Market, from where she retired.  She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church where she loved praying for and with others.  She loved going on walks outside, shopping adventures, and the fall season because of all of the beautiful leaves and colors.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.      A Funeral Mass for Roseann will be held at 11:00am, Monday, January 3, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 231 N State St, Westville, with Fr. Robert "Bob" Miller - January 19, 1944 - November 24, 2021

Obituary Preview: Robert Dean Miller, 77, beloved husband of Sally passed this life on November 24, 2021 Thanksgiving Eve morning at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Il. He was a blessing to his family, and they were thankful for him.
Robert (Bob, Bobby) Miller was born January 19, 1944 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He leaves two sons. Russell (Stephanie) Miller and Wesley (Angela) Miller. Their families include his grandchildren Jessica (Joel) Claudio, Bryan Miller, Tyler, Brycin, Lexi Miller and great grandchildren.
Survivors also include his sisters Joyce Miller, Betty (Robert) Brooks, his brother Paul Miller, nieces, nephews, and aunts. Bob was proceeded in death by his parents Russell and Dorothy (Dean) Miller, and grandparents.
Robert was united in marriage April 2006 to Sally Hensley Potter and added her son Derek (Shelly), her grandchildren Loryn, Allison and her great grandchildren to his family.
Sally survives and will miss him greatly.
Bob truly loved life and enjoyed many things: golf with Sam, auctions with Sally, dinners out and time spent with family and friends. During his younger years, he had horses and belonged to the Merry Riders Saddle Club. Bob loved his coon dogs and was a Master of Hounds and judged many dog shows and coon hunts. He owned a champion redbone coon hound. He enjoyed people and made many lifelong friends while working as a pattern maker at Danville Central Foundry from where he retired in 1995. Bob was active in Westville civic activities including Little League, School Board Member, and President of Sandusky Cemetery Association. He organized Westville Youth Football League and founded Vermilion County Coon Hunters Association. As a member of Georgetown Masonic Russell Lodge, he served as their Chaplain, was on many committees and was a past president. He truly enjoyed the time he spent with his Masonic brothers. Bob was generous with his time and resources.
Family and friends are deeply saddened by his passing. He will be missed.
Services will be at Urbas Sunset Funeral Home in Westville. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 28 from 4:00 to 7:30 with Masonic service following. Funeral Monday, November 29 at 10:30 with John Mincy of Westville First Church of Christ officiating. Burial in Sandusky Cemetery following.

John "Jack" Kocurek - March 09, 1932 - November 23, 2021

Obituary Preview: John L.(Jack) Kocurek  died on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Accolade Health center of Danville.  He was 89.  John Louis Kocurek Jr. was born on March 9th, 1932, the first born child of John  L. Kocurek Sr., and Garnet Elizabeth Elliott in Midway, a neighborhood of just two short streets off Route 1 halfway between Westville and Georgetown. He is survived by his neice Garnet (Frank) Nixon; his nephew Greg (Cathleen) Swann; his niece Gretchen (Greg) Fegett, and her sons Jonathan Gilbreath, Zechariah Chantos, and Gabriel Chantos ; his niece Kerrie Gill and her daughters Kellie Jo Smith and Samantha Gill, and his niece Molly (Tom) Montgerard and her daughter Reese Montgerard.  He was preceded in in death by his parents and by his brother Mark Kocurek and his sister Garnet Pfeifer. A lifelong member of St. Mary’s church in Westville, Jack attended St. Mary’s elementary school and Schlarman High school, graduating in 1950 in the first Schlarman class to have attended all four years.  After high school, Jack joined the Navy, doing his initial training at Great Lakes Naval Academy, and then going on to Naval Machinists training in San Diego, California.  After finishing training in 1952, he served on the U.S.S. Kermit Roosevelt,
Jack was discharged from the Navy in 1955 but remained on reserve status through 1959.  His work as a machinist in the Navy led to enroll in the David Rankin technical school in St Louis.  He completed the two year program in drafting and mechanical engineering, graduated in December of 1957, and by January of 1958 he landed a job as a tool and die maker at Hyster, where he worked until retiring in 1989.
Jack played as hard as he worked. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping. hunting, and fishing with a group of close friends.  His trips to Canada to fish for walleye were an annual event that he planned for all year. Jack was also a skilled trap and skeet shooter who competed in events all around the Midwest.  His shooting awards and trophies filled boxes. Jack enjoyed woodworking as well.  After he retired, he enlisted the help of his friends to build a giant woodworking shop and filled it with every tool imaginable, and he custom built cabinets, benches, and tables to accommodate both his woodworking tools and his reloading equipment for skeet shooting.  He christened this building “the Sandbox” because it was where he went to play.
Jack Kocurek was a gifted man who lived an exemplary life surrounded by loving family and extraordinary friends. He always did the right thing for the right reasons, and always with a smile.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Sunset- Urbas Funeral Home located at 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883. A Rosary Service will take place prior to the visitation on Monday at 3:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 231 N. State Street in Westville. Father Sauppé will be leading Mass. Jack will be laid to rest at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Westville at a later date.

She was preceded in death by her parents.  Freida’s family was everything to her and she especially cherished her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Freida was a homemaker and loved the opportunity to watch her children grow up. She had a passion for interior decorating and ensured her home was always cozy and inviting for guests no matter how many times she moved the furniture or redecorated. She enjoyed bowling and crocheting in her spare time.    A celebration of Freida’s life will be from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home- Urbas Chapel located at 414 S. She also enjoyed children, no matter who’s they were. Above all else, even through tough times, Pat loved her family.
