Louis W Eshenbaugh - June 25, 1965 - January 27, 2022

Departed: 01/27/2022 (Pittsburgh)
Obituary Preview: Louis "Lou" W. Eshenbaugh, age 56, of Ross Township, died on Thursday, January 27, 2022.  He was formerly of the Northside.  Beloved husband to his loving and devoted wife Pam (Magill) Eshenbaugh.  Proud and loving father to his beautiful daughters Patty and Katie (aka - Lou's little honey's).  Also, Lou is survived by his mother Roberta (Chuck) Hart, sisters  Amy Creese, Tammy (Jerry) Kennedy and Karen (Charlie) Warwick, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws - Magill family.  And it would be remiss not to mention his friends and in particular Hamilton family-Bruce (best friend), Liz (surrogate wife), Eleana (sparkly bag), USPS postal buddies and The Who Cares League.
The legacy Lou leaves behind seemed to have been instilled in him while he was in USMC  in which he served our country when he graduated from high school.  Lou believed in the motto Semper Fi-always faithful, always loyal and Oorah-lead by example.  USMC is where Lou established his foundation for his adulthood.  Lou believed in hard work and making things better for his family.
Albeit Lou lost his battle to Uveal Melanoma, he demonstrated his will and drive to live for his family and friends by outliving 3 different death sentences given to him via medical  professionals.  With that said--some people called Lou a warrior, fighter--good descriptions; his girls Pam, Patty and Katie call him a survivor due to his no quit attitude.  He demonstrated his no quit attitude each and every day during the time they spent with him.
Lou showed everyone that life will continue to move forward and that all of us better make the most of it and NEVER take anything for granted.  For example, Lou continued to hunt deer and bear, went to NFL Hall of Fame, MLB Hall of Fame, Train show, kept in touch with family and friends.  And most importantly Lou remained active in his family's lives--pushing Patty, Katie and Pam to follow their dreams and for them to move forward and positively with their lives. Semper Fi        Oorah        RIP LOU
