Floyd Gee was born July 2, 1940, in Halifax County, Enfield, NC. He attended Enfield High School.
Floyd and Joan Hardy met in Jersey City, NJ. They married and to this union the beloved Nicole “Nikki“ Gee was conceived. Floyd, Joan, and Nikki relocated to Wallington. NJ.
Floyd became gainfully employed at Garden State Paper Co, Inc in Garfield, NJ as a machine tender, where he worked from 1967-2001, when he retired.
Floyd was a devoted member at St. Paul's Baptist Church in Passaic NJ. He was a devout family man who loved his wife, Joan and beloved daughter, Nikki. He was a free-spirited person always willing to go above and beyond to help anyone in need.
Floyd loved to go to the coffee shop and shoot the blues with the guys. Floyd was a true friend to Tommy Briggs, with whom he also worked. Floyd also had a dear friendship with Dewayne Dye, Sr., a member of St Paul Baptist Church; Paresha “Manish” Patel, the coffee shop owner; and his neighbor across the hall, Lynnell McCloud (whom the Gee family looked at as family).
Floyd loved the casino (playing the slots) the racetrack (betting on horses) playing the lottery and scratch-offs. Floyd faithfully went to the barbershop to keep up his handsome looks.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents Alex and Arlean “Goins” Gee, sister Lottie Bailey, brother James Gee and his beloved daughter Nicole “Nikki “Gee on October 2, 2021.
Floyd leaves behind his dear wife Joan of 49 plus years, brothers Alexander “Shag” Gee, Reverend Dr. Albert Gee, sisters Violet Arline and Beverly Hamlin (Rufus). Floyd ‘s in laws on wife Joan “Hardy“ Gee’s side are Claudette H. Hutcheson (Nathaniel) of South Hill, VA; Hilda H. Terry (Marshall) and Wanda H. Royster (John) both of Chase City, VA, Alice H. Jacalyn F. McCombs, a resident of Morristown, New Jersey, was born in Passaic, New Jersey to Howard “Dr. Buzzard” Wade and Vera Wade, née Payne. She was reared by Vera and Arcee Pyron. She attended Passaic Public Schools. Early in her career, Jacalyn obtained her CNA certification. In 1984 she obtained her Practical Nursing Certificate and later graduated from Passaic County Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Science.
Jacalyn attended the Bachelors of Science in Nursing program at Ramapo College. And, after working over forty years in nursing, she retired.
Jacalyn enjoyed sewing, cooking, fashion design, coloring, reading books, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Jacalyn was preceded in death by her parents, Vera Payne-Wade St Patrick's Day 1984, Howard Wade April 25, 2002 and her stepfather, Arcee "Pop-Pop" Pyron May 26, 2006; and, her brother, Raymond Payne 1988.
Survivors include her ex-husband, Baron McCombs; her daughter, Dionne L. Wade, Esq.; her son, Hakiem McCombs and his wife, Tonyamaree Obey-McCombs; Jacalyn’s four grandchildren, Faraad Najir McCombs, Skyye Collick, Asiya Hanaan Najir McCombs and Isa Aali Najir McCombs; and her siblings Valetta Payne, Brian Wade and Eartha Muhammad.
Jacalyn is also survived by two nieces: Shah Payne and Whitney Gordon; two nephews: Wali Gordon and Jabbar Wade, his wife, Ronita; three great-nephews, two great-nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.

Nikki was born July 18, 1973 in Jersey City, NJ, the only child to Floyd and Joan Gee. Nikki was five years old when her parents moved to Wallington (Bergen County) NJ. She began here elementary education at Immaculate Conception and graduated high school from there in 1991.
After graduating from high school, Nikki attended William Paterson University and received a Bachelor of Science and Health degree in 1997; her major was Computer Science. After college, Nikki obtained employment with State Farm Insurance in Wayne, NJ. Nikki was full of life and a very jovial person who loved her family, traveling, dancing, reading, shopping, and talking to her cousins on Zoom. Nikki leaves behind her dear parents who wanted to express these words for their daughter:
“A daughter brings a special joy that comes from deep inside.
And as she grows to womanhood, she fills your heart with pride.
With every year that passes, she’s dearer than before.
Through every stage through every age, you love her even more. We’re going to miss you deeply Nikki."
Nikki leaves behind her dear parents, mother, Joan and father, Floyd (who died on October 5, 2021).
Nikki was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Casey and Theora (Wood) Hardy and Alex and Arlean (Goins) Gee.
Nikki leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, young cousins that called her auntie and dear friends.
Nicole “Nikki“ Gee will be truly missed.

Stanley Tremble - July 21, 1940 - August 24, 2021

Obituary Preview: God blessed the world with Stanley Tremble on July 21,1940 to the late Doris and Fred Tremble, Sr. in Passaic, New Jersey.
Soon after the birth of Stanley as a toddler, God called home his birth mother, Doris. Enter, Mattie Smith, Stan referred to Mattie as the only mother he knew until her death in 1991. Father Fred passed into eternity in 1983 followed by his brother Fred, Jr. in 1992.
Stanley attended the Passaic School System until he decided to enlist into the United States Army. Sergeant Stanley Tremble was the recipient of over fifteen commendations including but not limited to the Vietnam Service Medal, The Presidential Citation and four Bronze Battle Stars.
Other civic affiliations include the American Legion Post 247 and the Albert Lawson VFW Post 200 both in Passaic, New Jersey.
Starsky, as he was called, especially in his native New Jersey is where he met and married on July 11, 1964 the love of his life, the late Rosavelt "Rose" Bullock Tremble. Rose returned to the Lord on June 28, 2007 in Henderson, North Carolina.
Our beloved Stan was a former member and trustee of the New Faith Baptist Church where his pastor was the Reverend Eugene Durham, Sr.
Stan and Rose relocated to Henderson, North Carolina in 2005. While in North Carolina, they became an icon and regular fixture throughout the social culture and roads of Vance County.
Stan was well liked and will be remembered for his wisdom, charismatic style, picturesque Cadillac, skills in playing cards (tunk, pittypat, poker and deuces) and his favorite, the unpredictable "SCRATCH OFFS".
Stan leaves to cherish his legacy three amazing daughters, Dana Godette, Tarah Godette and Mildred Brown all of New Jersey; one loving brother, Gary Smith of Passaic, New Jersey; two beloved and adoring sisters, Dorothy A. Durham (Rev. Eugene Durham, Sr.) of Henderson, North Carolina and Kathy L. Smith of Passaic, New Jersey; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to many to mention.
Viewing was held at Baskerville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from noon to 6:00 p.m.
Service will held at Baskerville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
