Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Sabino Diaz & Adela Ramos. A devoted homemaker for many years, she loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading the Bible, sewing, bird watching, singing and attending church services. She was a lifelong member of the Spanish Assemblies of God Church in Lawrence.
Adelaida is survived by four children, Ismael Santiago, Jose Luis “Cuchi” Santiago, Maria “Maggie” Perez, & Sara “Sary” Santiago; 31 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and her brothers & sisters in Christ at the Assemblies of God Church. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three children, Hector “Tato” Santiago, Raul “Cusy” Santiago, & Daniel Santiago.

Obituary Preview: Mrs. Mary (Marie) Monica (Devaney) Roy, A lifelong resident of Methuen and Lawrence died peacefully on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at home with her husband and son present.
Born and raised in Methuen, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret E. (O’Hearn) Devaney. She attended Methuen public schools through the Searles High School when she left to work in the Pacific Mill in Lawrence during WWII. She worked for many years in the Lawrence mills which also included Reid Meredith, Bolton Emerson and finally working and retiring from Andover Medical Incorporated at several locations. She was originally a member of St. Monica’s parish while in Methuen and then St. Patrick’s in Lawrence. She loved music and dancing in her younger years and met her husband of 67 years at the Commodore Ballroom in Lowell. She also enjoyed the sun, movies, horror and mysteries especially but mostly spending time with her family and friends and sitting on her front steps. She was loved by all.
She is survived by her husband Leonce (Micky) Roy of Lawrence; daughter Maryetta Dixon-Gamache & husband Michael Gamache of Salem, NH; son James Roy of Lawrence; grandson’s Jesse Dixon of Tilton, NH, Jacob Dixon of Barnstead, NH; great grandsons Tyler Dixon of Salem, NH, Brayden Dixon of Salem, NH and Phoenix (little Micky) Dixon of Barnstead, NH; a sister-in-law Theresa Kenney of Methuen; many nieces and nephews and lastly one adoptive daughter like friend Lynda Fortin of New Brunswick. She was predeceased by an older sister Margaret Hollins of Chester, NH; older brothers John, Joseph, Eugene, Thomas and Vincent Devaney of Methuen; and a younger brother Augustine of Methuen. Obituary Preview: Dolores Pierrot Jimenez was born in Samana, DR on August 10, 1931. She had seven brothers and sisters. At an early age, she dedicated her time to helping raise her siblings. This developed into a great love and devotion for her family. Dolores had four children, Silvio, Fernando, Francisco,  Carmen,  and raised her grandson Junior. She was a loving and affectionate caretaker that raised her children with passion. Most of all, she instilled in her sons and daughter strong values that will continue to serve them well. She loved to cook, kept an immaculate house, and loved to bake for her children. Dolores did the best “dulce de coco con pina.” The love and affection she had for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will live in them forever. Dolores Pierrot Jimenez peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home on 1/20/22. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. We find peace in knowing she spent her last days at home surrounded by love from her family and friends.
