Romero and her husband Andres, their children Elena, Gabriella, and Alejandro of Murrieta, CA; her paternal grandmother, Anita Watson of Webster, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Born in Worcester on August 8, 1990 Jess grew up in Uxbridge and was a graduate of Uxbridge High Class of 2008.  She graduated from Nichols College in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She worked from 2012 to 2021 as a licensing specialist for Dell EMC. Jessica enjoyed fishing, music, movies and decorating her home.  Most important to her was spending time with family, friends and her precious daughter Adriana.

Obituary Preview: Millville- Timothy Vincent Paige, 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday,  March 24, 2022. His wife of 59 years, Eileen H. (Britt) Paige predeceased him in 2014.         He is survived by three children: Daniel J. Paige and his wife Alexandra of Yarmouthport, Suzan E. Paige of Sagamore Beach, and Veronica M. Paige of Tolland, CT; seven grandchildren: Timothy Zigmont and his wife Alise, Lucas Cabral, Addie-Eileen Paige, Genny Paige, Julianne Zigmont, Alexa Paige, and Daniel A. Paige. He was also predeceased by siblings Edward “Ted” Paige, George Paige, Gertrude Smith, Ann Damarjian, Mary Paige, Thomas Russell Paige, and Joseph Paige.
Tim was born on July 18, 1928, son of George and Anastasia (Murphy) Paige and grew up in Woonsocket, RI. He graduated from Woonsocket High School and earned Master’s degrees in Speech Pathology and Guidance from Rhode Island College and Emerson College. Tim worked many years for the Woonsocket Public School System as a Speech Therapist, sixth grade teacher, and Guidance Counselor.  He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Navy, and a longtime member of St. Augustine's Parish. Tim enjoyed listening to beautiful music, watching westerns, and traveling - with especially fond memories of his time in Ireland. He cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren, and loved going out to lunch to share a piping hot meal with family and friends. One of Tim's greatest delights was to sit in the warmth of the sun under a clear blue sky.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Church, 15 Lincoln St., Millville on Thursday, April 21,2022 at 11 AM. Burial will be held privately.

She is survived by 5 nieces and nephews, Patricia Hamelin and her husband Michael of Uxbridge, John Gorman and his wife Elaine of Whitinsville, Kathleen Szerlag and her husband Martin of Northbridge, Betsy Salmonsen and her husband Lance of Douglas, and Denis Gorman and his wife Maria of Douglas, as well as many great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and many good friends. She was predeceased by her 3 siblings, James J. Gorman, Evelyn E. Gorman, and Edward A. Gorman.
Born in Whitinsville on May 24, 1939, she was the daughter of John J. and Daria (Boyer) Gorman and lived on East Hartford Ave in Uxbridge for 73 years. She was educated from Good Shepherd School in Linwood, and graduated from Uxbridge High School class of 1957. She furthered her education at Anna Maria College and earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Assumption College in 1964. She worked many years as a Teacher for the Worcester Public School System, teaching both Spanish and French.
She was a member of the Mass Teachers Assoc., the National Education Assoc., the Uxbridge School Committee, and the Our Lady of the Valley School Board. She was also active in Tri-River Medical Center’s, Patient Family Advisory Council for many years. A woman of great faith, Eileen was a lifelong member of Good Shepherd Church and was very active in the parish. She was a fun-loving and cheerful woman, who always enjoyed getting the family together. Eileen was an avid golfer, who also loved travelling, especially cruises. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Cecile R. (Poulin) Dionne; 3 children, Charles A. Dionne Jr and his partner Elizabeth Johnson of Inman, SC, Debra A. Dionne-Pilotte and her husband Robert of Uxbridge, and Mark A. Dionne and his wife Erin of Chesapeake, VA; 12 grandchildren; Lucas, Richard Boisvert and his wife Andrea, Rebecca Pollinger and her husband Nicholas, Elizabeth Adams, Matthew Boisvert, James Bosivert and his wife Erin, Katelyn Carbary and her husband Daniel, Jacob Dionne and his significant other Taylor, Madison, Christian, Jonathan and Morgan; 8 great-grandchildren, Calli, Cody, Aubrey, Landon, Lola, Dante, Jonah, and Jadi; and a great-great granddaughter, Milla; 2 siblings, Richard Dionne and his wife Nella of Mountain City, TN, and Sharon Richards and her husband Lawrence of Millbury, and several nieces and nephews.
Born in North Uxbridge, MA on February 11, 1932, Chick was the son of Albert and Elizabeth (Bowers) Dionne and lived here all his life. He was a graduate of Uxbridge High School Class of 1949.
A proud U.S. veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, Chick was stationed in Germany, serving as an Airman First Class in the Military Police. Always a hard worker he was employed as an assembler for the former General Motors Plant in Framingham for 41 years. He later became a CNA and cared for the elderly. He and his wife also raised many foster children over the years.
Charles enjoyed staying active in bowling and softball leagues, shooting hoops, and running road races. He was a frequent visitor of the Whitinsville Community Center. Chick was a kind, gentleman, with a dry sense of humor. Known for coming up with funny nicknames he enjoyed feeding the ducks and geese in back of his home and loved all of his dogs over the years. He will be remembered as the perfect family man who took great care of his family, especially Cecile.

Gervais, 94, of Douglas  St. passed away Tuesday March 1, 2022 in Milford Regional Medical Center.      Theresa has two surviving brother-in-laws, Bob Haley and Bill Bruneau both of Uxbridge, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great- great nieces and nephews. Ms. Gervais was born in Uxbridge, the last remaining child of the late Henry and Malvina (Normandin) Gervais and would have been turning 95 on March 18. She was predeceased by three brothers and eight sisters.       Family was very important to Theresa; she enjoyed spending time with all of them, loved them dearly, and always had something kind to say. Theresa was a life time resident of Uxbridge, a devout member of Saint Mary's Church, and worked at Amperex in North Smithfield, RI for over twenty five years. She loved the holidays, children, family trips, and visiting family and friends. Theresa attended ceramics classes and crafted many beautiful pieces. She was a graduate of Uxbridge High School.      Her funeral will be held Tues. March 8, with a Mass at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, 77 Mendon St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Cormier and his wife Carly of Waltham; his mother, Marcia (Rawson) Cormier of DeFuniak Springs, FL; 3 grandchildren, Jacob Stratman, Flynn Cormier, and Owen Cormier; 3 sisters, Barbara Cormier of FL, Laura Warmbrod of PA, and Maryjane Cormier of FL; his in-laws, Joan Ouelette , Steve Ouelette, and Robert Ouelette; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend Carl of Douglas.
Born in Milford on June 2, 1954 he was son of the late Arthur Cormier and was raised in Uxbridge. He was educated in Uxbridge Public schools and graduated from Uxbridge High School class of 1972. Robert proudly served in the U.S Coast Guard during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Portland, ME. Rob was a self-employed handyman, who could fix almost anything.
Rob was an easy-going man who had an immense love for his family and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed birdwatching, science fiction TV shows, tinkering, and snacking! He was also an avid reader, and liked to read everything from short stories to novels. Rob was a kind man who often volunteered for different area soup kitchens and was a frequent volunteer to Walking In Light Inc. out of Douglas for the past 15 years. A man of great faith, he was a devout Christian and loved to read his bible. Gebben and her spouse Anne Matysek of Bellingham; his mother, Linda (Verplank) Gebben of Holland, MI; his twin sister, Susan “Sue” Bordelon (Jeff) of Loomis, CA; his brother, Charles “Chuck” Gebben (Vicki) of Westminster, CO; a niece, five nephews, one grand-nephew and a grand-niece. Born in South Bend. Indiana on Sept. 17, 1957, he was the son of the late Vernon Gebben.     Mr. Gebben worked hard for his family as a Chemical Engineer, in the plastics division of ExxonMobil. He traveled the world for his work, retiring several years ago. He was a 1975 graduate of Bay High School in Bay Village, Ohio, and then earned a degree in Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. Dick was a member of the Men's group and a Trustee at Blackstone Valley United Methodist Church in Whitinsville, MA. He was an Eagle Scout, enjoyed reading, doing projects around the house and yard, and cooking on the grill. He will be remembered as a loving, kind, hardworking husband and father. Born in Whitinsville on November 1, 1941 Ray was the son of Arthur and Jeannette (Couteau) Bedard and has been a lifelong resident of Uxbridge. He attended Uxbridge public schools and started his career young working for the former Draper Co. in Hopedale. Later, he owned and operated Concrete Finishing Co., for many years, and also the Center Variety Store. He was a skilled Horticulturist, and worked for Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Sutton for 18 years. Ray enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening. He had an immense love for flowers and took great pride in his landscape.  He will be sorely missed.

Obituary Preview: Johnny D. Brown, 89, of Moody St., passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Brookside Rehab and Health Center in Webster after a period of declining health.
Born in East Prairie, Missouri on September 15, 1932, he was the son of William and Lecta (Norton) Brown and grew up in East Prairie.  Johnny graduated from East Prairie High School, and proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1961, seeing combat during the Korean conflict.
Upon leaving the service, Johnny furthered his education earning a Bachelors degree from Boston University, then a Master’s degree in education from Worcester State University (then College). He worked for the Worcester school system as a Physical Education teacher for many years, retiring in 1978.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elia L. (Dell’Orco) Brown; his son, Anthony Brown of Worcester; and his daughter, Robin Denio of Uxbridge. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters, and leaves several nieces and nephews.
Johnny was a well-known figure in Uxbridge, where he enjoyed riding his moped around town with his faithful dog, Charlie. He was a very funny, social guy who always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. He served a term on the School Committee, was a Cub Scout leader for several years, volunteered for various veterans’ causes, was proud of his heritage as a member of the Mescalero Apache tribe, and maintained the grounds at the Hassanamisco Reservation in Grafton for many years.

Born in Whitinsville, MA on Oct. 7, 1948 he was the son of Robert E. Sr. and Eileen (Nichols) Lawless, was raised in Uxbridge and lived in N. Oxford 20 years. Previously he lived in the Manchaug section of Sutton.      Mr. Lawless was employed at Felter’s Corporation over 20 years previously Texas Instruments, retiring in 2017. During retirement Bob worked at Walmart.         Educated in Uxbridge schools, he served his Town as an Uxbridge Volunteer Firefighter. He and his wife enjoyed competing in shooting sports such as archery and target shooting. An avid outdoorsman, when his boys were growing up they went on frequent camping trips. He also enjoyed watching old westerns on TV, bird watching, and was an avid Boston Bruins fan.      His Memorial Funeral Service will be held Fri. Feb. 4, 2022 at 11 AM in Cornerstone Church, 6 E. He is also survived by 4 children, Deanna Frabotta of Linden, MI, Kimberly Pipgras and her husband Mike of Byron, MI, Carie Ballou of Whitinsville, and Anthony Frabotta and his wife Sheri of Northbridge; a step-daughter, Donna Geer of Douglas; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Frabotta of Uxbridge, and Richard Frabotta and his wife Linda of Uxbridge, and his beloved 4-legged friend, his cat Milo.
Born in Milford on July 9, 1940 he was son of the late Christopher and Marion (Lajoie) Frabotta and was raised in the Linwood section of Northbridge. He was educated at the former Good Shepherd school and Northbridge High School. Frank worked at Linwood Lumber in the yard for 35 years. Then after, he worked several years for Hellen’s Oil delivering until his retirement. Frank enjoyed watching old westerns on TV especially Bonanza, and Gun Smoke. He also liked playing cribbage and cooking up a nice meal for his family. He was a good man with a big heart, with a great sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

(Guertin) Jacques and grew up in Uxbridge attending Our Lady of the Valley School, and graduated from Uxbridge High School, Class of 1958. She continued her education attending the Salter School where she was certified in Office Administration. Marcelle worked many years for Rikutec America Inc. in Whitinsville where she held numerous positions including Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President.
Marcelle was an amazing singer. She sang in the choir at Good Shepherd Church for many years, was a member of the Blackstone Valley Community Chorus, and the Messengers singing group in Millbury. She was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Church where she served on their Bereavement Ministry.

He is survived by his daughter, Rosemary C. Voss and her husband Lawrence of Uxbridge; 2 grandchildren, Justin G. Voss of Uxbridge and Alyssa M. Voss and her husband Bryan M. Orosz of Gaithersburg, MD; a brother, James Bigwood, and a sister Helene Hill both of Winchendon; and several nieces and nephews.  Born in Orange, MA on May 18, 1926, Don was the son of Ralph and Sarah (Parmenter) Bigwood. He lived in Uxbridge 76 years, previously living in Winchendon.
Don worked as a molder in the foundry at the former Whitin Machine Works for 36 years. He then worked in security at Digital Equipment Co. for several years, retiring in 1994. A proud WWII U.S. Navy veteran, Don served aboard a submarine in the South Pacific from 1944-1946, earning his way into the United States Submarine Veterans Holland Club. He was a member of the Mendon Lion’s Club and Good Shepherd Parish of Linwood, MA. Don was an avid golfer, often hitting the green at Raceway Golf Club at 5 a.m. to beat the crowds. Don also enjoyed traveling and meeting new people with the Lion’s Pin Traders Club and kept in touch with his fellow traders across the world well into his 90s.

Born on Nov. 22, 1938 in Kaiserslautern, Germany, Wilhelm was the son of Walter and Hilde (Zapf) Huber and emigrated to the U.S with his wife Elisabeth in November of 1974.
Wilhelm worked many years as a Machinist for Precision Mechanical Corp. in Millis, and then as a Food Service Manager for the Massachusetts Correctional Institution in Framingham until his retirement in 2006. Wilhelm was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, range shooting, and fishing. He was a longtime member of the Uxbridge Rod & Gun Club where he was "chairman of the kitchen" and loved serving a good meal and spending time with friends.

Henry of Sinking Spring, PA.  She is survived by her sister Sara Jane Cranston and her husband, David of Sewickley, PA, a sister-in-law, Katherine S. Henry of Windsor, VA and a sister-in-law, Inge Henry of Mesquite, NV.  Her sister Anne Andrews and brothers Thomas and John preceded her in death.
Joan was the mother of six children, a grandmother to 14 and agreat-grandmother to 18. She was predeceased by her eldest son, Jeffrey Plumb. She made her home with her daughter, Jennifer Vine, in Uxbridge.  She is also survived by a son Peter Plumb and his wife Melanie of Whitinsville, MA, a son Stephen Plumb and his wife Lynn of Nobleboro, ME, a daughter Sara Jane Morris of Hull, GA and a daughter, Paige Plumb of Warwick, RI.
Joan enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles and keeping in touch with friends and relatives by phone and with cards and letters.

Born in Uxbridge on September 16, 1930 Jeanette was the daughter of Nicholas and Mary (DeTiberiis) and was a lifelong resident of Uxbridge. She was a graduate of Uxbridge High school Class of 1947, and Boston University in 1951, with a Bachelor’s Degree in general studies.
Jay was primarily a homemaker who loved family gatherings. An avid cook, she baked sweets for her husband and kids nearly every day. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, hanging out with her friends, and Dunkin Donuts Coffee. Jeanette and John traveled the country in their motor home when the kids were grown. After her husband’s passing, she filled her time as a daycare provider at the former Uxbridge Early Childhood Center, and volunteered at the Uxbridge Senior Center for many years.
A woman of great faith, Jay was an active parishioner of Good Shepherd church and sang in the choir, served as a lector, and took a leadership role in the former Good Shepherd School Parent’s Guild. She was a longtime member and past president of the Uxbridge Women’s Club. She was an avid candlepin bowler. She spent many hours of many years in the Monday morning leagues and summer leagues at the Spare Time Lanes in Whitinsville, having bowled as recently as January 2021. Jeanette’s Funeral Mass will be held on Mon. Nov.22, 2021 at 11 AM in Good Shepherd Church, 121 Linwood St., Linwood. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Uxbridge. Ann was primarily a homemaker but took great pride when returning to school to receive a college education. Ann received her Associates degree at Newbury College graduating cum laude. Ann then worked as a paralegal many years for Greenwald and Greenwald Associates in Milford and then for The Law Offices of Donna J. Hines & Associates, P.C. of Northborough. Aside from her career as a paralegal, Ann took pride in being Notary Public, worked in Real Estate, and shared a love for politics. Ann had a strong passion for the arts. She owned her own ceramics studio, created oil paintings and drawings, and could also be found writing with elegance. She would write about her personal adventures or practice her creative writing through fiction stories or poetry. She also had a talent in clothing design and sewing. She would sew beautiful pieces and clothing for her family, including her granddaughter’s prom dress, several Christmas ornaments and stuffed animals. Ann took pride in her family; she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her great granddaughter, whom she loved to spend time with, inherited the name of Ann’s late Mother Lily. She was also an honorary grandmother to many. She contained an unconditional heart, was always there for her family and, above all else, she was a faithful wife to the love of her life Joe. She loved being a mother and watching her family grow.
Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones. She loved her art and creations, family vacations, travel, dining out, shopping, cooking, Jeopardy, reading and writing. The holiday season was her favorite when she could bake and cook for everyone she cared for. Ann was a giver, and on top of her many passions she enjoyed donating her delicious pastries to local hospitals. She was a kind, sweet, and selfless woman who will be sorely missed by her family. Mario's career included a variety of occupations, from cook, to plumbing, to furniture manufacturing. Mario loved his music. He often played his guitar, on which he was self taught. He also played the piano. Some of his favorite artists were Jimmy Hendrix, Bob Dylan and the Beatles. Mario was a fervent fan of the New York Yankees, as was his mom. He would often be seen wearing his Yankees' cap. Not easy in Red Sox Nation! Mario was a kind and well liked individual with a great sense of humor, always ready with a joke. His humor brought a smile to everyone he met. Without humor, he said, the world would be a dark and gloomy place. He touched the lives of all those he knew. We hope he is now at peace. He will be greatly missed!

She is predeceased by her son, Jim Condon, formerly of Watertown, MA and her six siblings Francis B. Cassidy, Jr., Edward R. Cassidy, Mary A. Cassidy, Margaret Manship, Barbara J. Cocker and Fr. Joseph Daniel Cassidy, OP. She is survived by her former husband, Chris Condon, New Rochelle, NY, daughter Kathleen Condon and her husband Rick Luftglass, Brooklyn, NY, daughter-in-law Susan Robertson, Watertown, MA, daughter Ann Gallagher and her husband Ron May, San Diego, CA and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
She grew up in Uxbridge, MA, and earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees in foreign language and education at Clark University. After college, Clare worked as a high school teacher and was a popular folk singer. She hosted her own radio program on WTAG in Worcester, MA, which is where she met her future husband, Chris, in the 1950s.
She loved words, puns, languages, folksongs and cultural traditions. Friends will remember Clare as an accomplished singer and immensely skilled watercolorist. She delighted in teaching French and watercolor classes for children and adults, continuing to teach well into her 80’s.
During her long life, Clare lived in Tulsa, OK, Kansas City, MO, St. Louis, MO, DeSoto, MO, Ste. Genevieve, MO, Uxbridge, MA, Gloucester, MA and Charleston, SC. In each location, she participated in community and art organizations.
Like her long-running radio program “A Number of Things” at St. Louis’ KFUO radio station, Clare’s life-long love of learning developed into many interests and accomplishments. She made a singing radio appearance on the Arthur Godfrey show and was once a featured artist on the Missouri AAA Magazine cover (Missouri wildflowers). She sang at numerous community events throughout the St Louis area and performed many times at the Ste. Genevieve Jour de Fête. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Clare’s funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10 AM in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 77 Mendon St., Uxbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 88 Granite St., Uxbridge. Immediately following her funeral and burial services, her family would like to invite all family and friends to a celebration of Clare’s life, held at Blissful Meadows Golf Club (Oak Room), 801 Chocolog Rd., Uxbridge.
