Born on the 23rd of March 1947, in the vibrant city of St. Petersburg FL, Sharon's journey through life was marked by her infectious laughter and boundless spirit. She sadly departed from this world on the 28th of April 2024, in Pittsburgh PA leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Sharon's life was a testament to the power of family, resilience and the deep bonds of love. Her unwavering devotion to her husband, David Daxon, was the cornerstone of a life rich in companionship. Together, they nurtured a family that would grow and flourish, with children Octavia Daxon and Sabrina Jones. Sharon's role as a grandmother was one, she held most dear, showering Darius Lomax, Demaritrus Lomax, Patience Moody, Deidra and Daidra Lomax, Jordan Jones, Michael Cekala, and Tamina Honaker with love and wisdom. She was also blessed to see the sparkle of the future in the eyes of her greatgrandchildren TaKais, Kira, Naki, Da'Shawn, Khai, Day’thena, Ka’lon, Day'venn, and Isaiah, leaving a part of herself with each of them.Throughout her life, Sharon was the heart of her home, dedicating herself to the care and happiness of her family and grandchildren. Her commitment to her loved ones was unwavering, and she fulfilled her role with grace and joy. Her hands, always busy with love, crafted a home that was a haven of warmth and laughter for all who entered. Sharon's interests and joys were simple yet profound. She loved the lord and found peace in the gentle waves while swimming, a pastime that brought her great pleasure and relaxation. Her laughter could often be heard ringing through the air at Kennywood, where she cherished the thrill of rides and the shared joy of family outings. Her love of the outdoors was evident in her frequent visits to the park, where she could bask in the beauty of nature and the companionship of her loved ones.At home, Sharon was never far from her tablet, where she indulged in the playful challenge of games that kept her mind sharp and her wit quick. She also enjoyed card games. These simple pleasures were yet another way she connected with her grandchildren, often engaging in friendly competition. To describe Sharon is to speak of love personified. She was a loving matriarch whose heart knew no bounds, a funny storyteller who could light up the darkest of rooms with her humor, and a spirited soul whose energy was both inspiring and comforting. Her presence was a gift, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we say goodbye to Sharon Daxon, we celebrate the immense joy she brought into our lives.
