Robert “Bob”, 70, passed in peace on April 13, 2022 surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was born on July 18, 1951 in Johnson city, New York to Robert Winston and Joan Daniel’s. He graduated from Newark Valley High School in 1969 and was then drafted into the armed forces where he served for two years. He was very dedicated to his family and friends and always lended a helping hand. He worked hard to make sure his family was always provided for. He retired in 2015 and was able to enjoy some of his many hobbies. These hobbies included fishing, hunting, reading, gardening and cooking for anyone that wanted to stop by. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Stephen Winston, Stephanie (Brent) Weber, and Shawn Winston ; grandchildren, Brittney(Meghan) Randall, Zachary(Taylor) Randall ; siblings, Steve (Linda) Winston, Clayton(Toyota) Winston, and Loraine Winston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters Elma and Leona Winston. A Celebration of Life to follow at a later date.

Obituary Preview: Jason Speed Rich, 46, of Richford, NY passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2022.
Born on September 20, 1975, in Ithaca, NY to Clifford and Deanna Kinsman Rich. Jason was predeceased by his mother Deanna Rich in 2007. He graduated from Dryden High School in 1993 and was employed by FAHS construction group.
Jason is survived by his father and stepmother, Clifford and Rollie Rich, His four children that he adored, Caley, Jaylynn, Maximus and Deanna. He is also survived by his brother Clifford (Char) Rich, Sisters, Michelle Rich, Laura (Mike) Holt, Stepsisters, Roland (Bill) Edmister and Telessa (Dave) Bean. Jason was an excellent Uncle to Tommy Moon, Bob Mix, CJ Rich, Jonathan Delles, Hannah and Levi Holt, and Timmy Rich. He will be missed by an Uncle, several aunts, cousins and many friends.
Jason was a devoted father to his four children, Caley, Jaylynn, Maximus and Deanna. He loved taking them fishing, swimming and enjoyed watching them play sports.
Jason also was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a grill master and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, always making them laugh and smile with his animated stories with sound effects. He was a fun competitor of horseshoes and cornhole, always participating in local leagues. In his younger years, he enjoyed racing his four-wheeler and dirt bike.
The family will hold a celebration of Jason’s life at a later date, Burial will be at the Caroline Grove Cemetery in Caroline, NY.

Louise passed away suddenly surrounded by her family at Wilson Hospital. She was born in Little Falls, NY to Henry and Esther (Fergerson) Galloway. She graduated from Chenango Valley High School. After high school, she attended the nursing program at Broome Tioga BOCES for her Licensed Practical Nurse then received her Registered Nurse degree from Broome Community College where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She worked as an RN first at Wilson Memorial Hospital then at Binghamton General in ECT overall she worked for UHS for 42 years. During her working years, she went to Syracuse University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Nursing.
Louise was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Bruce Glazier, and her parents Henry & Esther Galloway. Louise is survived by her son Christopher (Marian) Glazier, her daughter and son-in-law Tracie (Michael) Baxter, her grandchildren Kea (Tony) and Cara Glazier, Abigail, Alexander, and Daniel Baxter; her two brothers Edward and Wayne Galloway; Her sisters and brother-in-law Ruth Hunter, Mary Lou (Charles) Mathis; several nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as her 3 special friends Tina Baxter, Rose Meaney, and Yoland Dancesia.
Louise loved life – her smile was one that lit up a room and could make a bad day instantly better. She loved to dance, garden, joke, plant flowers, and watch her birds, especially her hummingbirds. She was always gentle with anyone she met and treated all with compassion. She loved her grandkids most of all and was constantly reminding them of the rules of the road and how to live life to the fullest.

Bruce went to his Heavenly home surrounded by his family in the early morning hours of March 21st at the age of 81. He was born in Oneonta, NY to Rev. Roger B. Glazier and Lois T. Harding Glazier. He was predeceased by his parents and by a brother-in-law Jack Hunter. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Louise (Galloway), his son Chris (Marian) Glazier, daughter Tracie (Michael) Baxter, grandchildren Kea (Tony), Cara Glazier and Abigail, Alexander, and Daniel Baxter. He is also survived by his sisters Ruth Hunter and Mary Lu (Charles) Mathis; 2 brothers-in-law Edward and Wayne Galloway; his faithful Collie Roger; several nieces, nephews, close friends, and his congregation.
Bruce graduated from Sidney High School, earned his bachelor's degree from Lycoming College, his master’s degree from Cornell University, and his Doctorate from Southwest Bible College & Seminary. He was a Scout Executive for the Susquenango Council and a Scout Master for Boy Scouts of America Troop #158. He worked at the NYS Dept. of Labor for most of his career and held many titles there, the last was as a tech. consultant after his official retirement. He was a certified pilot and enjoyed the time in the air flying planes – he said it brought him closer to God. He loved time in his Woodshop and quite often you could find him there teaching others his love of the craft or building one of his railroad models. He was a past member of the Nimmonsburg Rotary. He pastored the congregation of Countryside Christian Chapel for 47 years and during that time he shared his love for God, Nature, and his weekly guarantee that “something good was going to happen to each and every one of us that very hour”.
A celebration of life for Bruce and Louise will be held Sunday April 24, 2022 at Chenango Valley State Park Great Hall/Pines Pavilion from 12-6 PM.

Marilyn had a long battle with dementia. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Craft; her parents, Adam and Mary Banks, brother Dr. George (Marion) Banks, sister Hilda (Frank) Kloda, sister Bette (Gary) Coccetti, and grandson Donovan Craft.  Marilyn is survived by her sister Sandra (Richard) Austin; her six children, Susan Burnett (Randy Brofcak), Jill (Frank) Wiley, David Craft, Donald (Karen) Craft Jr., Robert Craft, Wendy (Tom) Brightsen, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marilyn began her career as a secretary for a law firm in Baltimore, MD,  IBM Endicott where she met Don, WPCSD, and finally worked and retired from Broome Community College . She loved kids and found much joy being like a second mother to kids at WPCSD and BCC. She was always cheerful and loved life! There will be a private burial service for family in May.  Donations can be made to the American Legion Auxiliary #974, Whitney Point or the Alzheimer's Association (ALZ.org).

She was born on November 3rd, 1924, in Burlington, Vermont, to Lionel and Betty (Wolcott) Sandall. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Susan , and her dear husband of 55 years, Harry Lee Fulford. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Hardman of Vancouver, Washington, and Candy (Lanny) Carlson of Whitney Point, New York. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John, Chase (Kristin), Ted (Margaret), Lindsay (Marc) and Travis, as well as great grandchildren Dante, Shawn, Kade, Dot, and Mira. She is also survived by nieces Susan and Pamela, as well as a large extended family. She outlived all of her siblings, as well as brothers and sisters in law. She was a part of the Greatest Generation ! Her life was a beautiful one !  She traveled widely, from Europe to the Islands of this earth, to almost every state in this country. She loved all things Italian, the country, the people, the food and especially, the music. She was a gifted musician, playing the piano from age four, and performed at state competition level, as well as in her beloved church in Burlington. She served her country during WWII, at the tender age of 18, as a secretary in the Department of Labor under FDR, and was a front row observer of his funeral procession as it passed by her corner office in our nations Capital. It was in Washington that she met and married her handsome Navy man , our Father. She had the absolute BEST sense of humor, and would reduce her daughters to tears and rolling on the floor, as we laughed and carried on. Her husband, our Dad, never stood a chance with the three of us.....we were a handful ! She was generous to a fault, supporting several charities, both military and civilian. There is so much more to say about this astonishing woman, but we will keep those memories secreted away in our hearts and minds, to be visited in our memories as time passes. To our adored mother, grandmother, and "Gma Great", we say Ti' amo and we will see you again.

Shrauger, 88 of Lisle, NY passed away at his home on February 11, 2022, surrounded by his children.  He was born September 19, 1933 in Penn Yan, NY and was predeceased by his parents Anna and Fred Shrauger, as well as his siblings Florence, Ruth, Pauline, Fred, Raymond, Anna Mae, Robert, Richard (infant death) and Carolyn.
Surviving Albert are his children, Linda (Steve) Burghardt, Eileen (Richard) Taylor, Glenda (Tim) Lown, Rebecca (Martin) Foran, Timothy (Lori) Shrauger; grandchildren Briana, Kylie, Jeffrey, Krishel, Aaron, Taylor, Marquis, Davontee, Ashley, Victoria, Sierra and Benjamin; great-grandchildren Nylah, Moira, Athena, Hazel Ann, Everett, Miles, Charles, Franklin, Daniel, Hunter, Abigail, Jackson and Avery along with several nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by the mother of his five children, Winogene (Gormel) Shrauger.
Albert worked for many years as a dairy farmer before starting to manufacture hay wagons and feeder boxes. His most recent business venture was the establishment of Midway Sales in Lisle, NY.  Albert loved to sit on his porch swing, tag along on deliveries, take naps in the office, listen to music in the showroom, maintain the pond, water wheel and lawn, as well as strike up a friendly conversation with customers.  Albert was a visionary, and successfully turned his ideas into reality with his adept skills on a tractor, fork lift or bull dozer.
We want to thank the care givers who lovingly helped provide home care for the past 2 years.
Per Albert’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.  In honor of one of Albert’s most recent pride and joys, we invite friends and family to his celebration of life on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Midway Sales, located at 3106 Route 11, Lisle, NY.

Tom was a retired truck driver he worked for many companies and traveled all over the USA. Tom loved to be outside whether he was cooking out, working on something and just being with family and friends. He loved watching WWE wrestling on Monday’s nights. Keith A. Jennison - May 27, 1936 - January 17, 2022

Obituary Preview: Keith Allen Jennison, 85, of Marathon, NY died on January 17, 2022 in Johnson City, NY.  Born in the Town of Lapeer on May 27, 1936 to the late Robert Larkin Jennison and Mary Christine (House) Jennison.  Keith was a graduate of Marathon Central School, in the Class of 1954, and was President of the Junior and Senior Class.  He attended Cornell University, Class of 1956.  He entered into a dairy farm partnership with his father for ten years.  They were recognized for outstanding milk production.  Keith was then employed by the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development Administration.  During his thirty years of employment, he received numerous awards and tributes for his assistance to NYS rural communities.  Upon retirement, he was employed by Lamont Engineering until he moved to Florida in 2009.
Keith was a Director of the local unit of the Dairymen’s League, served as Director of the Marathon Boy Scouts unit, was President and Secretary of the Marathon Lions Club and served as Little League Baseball Commissioner.  Keith and his wife Ruth developed a Drug Awareness program in Marathon Central School in the late 70’s and early 80’s.
Keith was an original Commissioner of the Marathon Joint Fire District and served as Secretary.  He was instrumental in reorganizing the fire services in the Town and Village of Marathon into a Joint District, one of the first in New York State.  He also reorganized the Marathon Emergency Squad into a full-time Emergency Squad to be known as Marathon Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps (MAVAC) and served as President for 8 years.  Upon retiring, he was made an honorary member of the Fire Department and MAVAC.
Keith was Senior Warden of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Marathon.
He was predeceased by his loving parents, brothers Carl House Jennison and Donald B Jennison; wife Beatrice D. (Crosby) Jennison, wife Ruth A. (Smith) Jennison, sisters-in-law Betty (Crosby) Betz and Bonnie (Kurtz) Jennison, and son-in-law Ty A. Braman.  He is survived by sons Kenneth A Jennison (wife MaryEllen), James R. Jennison, Robert J. Jennison (wife Sandi), and daughter Karen Ann (Braman) Forkey (husband Charles Forkey Jr.) all of Marathon. Also surviving are brothers-in-law Dale Betz of Florida and William Smith (wife Erin) of California, sisters-in-law Donna Jennison and Donna Smith.  He has 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Obituary Preview: William J (Bill) Damari, 61, of Glen Aubrey passed away unexpectedly Saturday January 1, 2022 surrounded by family and friends. Bill was predeceased by his father, William S Damari and mother Barbara M. Damari. He is survived by his brother, Steven (Sue) Damari, sisters, Deborah (Terry) Damari-Tull, Laurie Damari, Barbara S. (Bobbi) Damari, niece and nephew, Jamie Tull and Christopher (Kristen) Tull. Bill was a graduate of Maine Endwell (1978) and was a successful electrician for many years in Broome County. Bills greatest loves in life were his family and his many friends. His favorite activity was enjoying life to its fullest. For those of us who knew Bill, he was always ready to go on his next adventure. Whether it was a two week trip across the country on The Great Race, to the beach in Rhode Island, a karaoke bar, a concert (bluegrass or country) or just a quick trip for tomato pie, burrito or that special bread or cheese shop hidden away in the corner of some obscure little town, Bill knew them all. Bill will always be remembered as a kind and generous man with few needs, unwavering principals and a man with a big heart. Beloved son, brother, neighbor and friend, you will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Conni D; daughters, Shannon (Bob) Taylor, Darlene (Keith) Richard; sons, Mark (Mary), Ivan (Kathy), Eric (Kim) Sears, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Under circumstances at the time, he retired from Broome County Highway after 33 years. He was a member of the Masonic Order for 48 years where there will be a memorial service at a later date. Donation’s in his memory can be made to The Shriners Hospital.
