Obituary Preview: Melody Ann Iturralde, 58, of Atascocita, peacefully left this side of heaven on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in The Woodlands. She was born on February 20, 1965, in Houston, Texas, to her late biological
Parents, Darlene Allen and Vernon Dowell.
Raised by her late parents, Bobby J. and Lillie Nixon, in Pasadena. She graduated from Deer Park High School in 1983. In 2005, she obtained her Associate of Arts in Psychology from Lee College in Baytown.
The house of the Lord was her sanctuary. She was raised in the Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God and is a long-time member of the Memorial Assembly of God and Sanctuary of Praise.
Thanks to her late parents and God, music became her passion and gift to the world. Starting in the pews following her family's music band, the Singing Nixon’s, traveling from church to church, she eventually found her place in the chorus, then center stage as a regular soloist at church. Once becoming a mother, she enthusiastically shared her gift with her children, introducing them to gospel, classic Disney, and Broadway musicals. Her proudest accomplishment as a performer was lending her voice to the “Every Praise” CD with Cornerstone Fellowship.
She was a proud mother of her children, Ashlee and Aaron, and later in life, relished being Mimi to her grandchildren, Jayden and Evelyn.
She and her wife, Lisa, were married in 2014 in New York, NY. Their commitment to one another was unwavering, spanning nine years, a bond that transcended the passage of time and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege of witnessing their remarkable connection.
She was an avid genealogy researcher, spending untold hours researching both her adopted and biological families. She was an animal lover and Mom to countless cats and dogs over the years. However, hummingbirds and sloths had a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her wife, Lisa Iturralde of Atascocita, TX; children, Ashlee Larson Cooper and son-in-law Blaine Cooper of Willis, TX and Lee Aaron Larson of New York, NY; grandchildren, Jayden Lee Burns and Evelyn Grace Burns of Willis, TX; sisters, Carol McDaniel of Houston, TX, Jamie Dowell of Topanga, CA, Danielle Lambert of Sacramento, CA, and Pamela Christopher of Santa Fe, TX; brother, Steve Dowell of Santa Fe, TX; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, J.T. and Carrie Nixon, and Chester and Rose Ogden; aunt and uncle, Raymond and Rose McGlothlin; aunt, Rita June Ogden; brother, Steve Overton; sister, Loretta Overton; and many extended family members.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Aaron Larson, Blaine Cooper, Jayden Burns, Scott Hoxworth, Stan McGlothlin, and J Elam.

Obituary Preview: Brenda Gay (Parish) Thedford was born on August 3, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Katherine and Frank Parish. At the age of three the family moved to Houston and they settled in. Brenda grew up with her siblings, Wesley, Cindy, Ronald and Barbara. Brenda was an honor student at Furr High School. Brenda met Keith Thedford in 1977 in the workplace and in 1978, they were wed.
Aside from being wife and mother, Brenda was an avid reader. She also loved the game of baseball. So much so she even named the family dog, Astro after her beloved team the Houston Astro’s. Brenda was also a big Elvis fan. Together Keith and Brenda raised two daughters, Jennifer and Emily. Brenda returned to the Lord on January 24, 2024 in her home with Keith at her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank (12/29/92) and Katherine (6/7/14), her siblings, Barbara Parish (11/7/74) and Ronald Parish (1/7/65). She will once again be reunited with her daughter, Emily (3/20/2009)
Brenda is survived by her husband of 46 years, Keith, her daughter Jennifer, her siblings Wesley Parish and Cindy Kennemer, her French Bulldog, Astro and a host of extended family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on February 8, 2024, at Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church, 8909 Spencer Hwy, La Porte, TX 77571. The service will begin at 1:00PM.

Michael Scott Madison - December 22, 1966 - January 03, 2024

Obituary Preview: Michael Scott Madison (Spanky) was born December 22, 1966 to Elizabeth Alice (Betty) and William Edward Madison (Bill) in Houston, Texas. He attended Sam Rayburn High School and then continued his education with the University of Hard Knocks. It helped prepare him for the work in data and
telecommunications as a contractor.
Mike was a kind-hearted free spirit who brightened the lives of everyone who knew him. While music was his first love, riding motorcycles was a close second. He loved everyone and they all loved him back. He brought joy and love to so many through his music. The song he wrote “Do you know Jesus?” continues to transform lives. Mike was a contestant on La Porte Idol achieving 3rd place and will be remembered for Sunday Jam at The Moon. Mike left us surrounded by family and friends at home on January 3, 2024. He left just far too soon and he will be greatly missed. He wanted us to “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave us.” Eph 4:32
Mike is preceded by his parents, Betty and Bill and his step-dad Grady Dunson. He will be reunited with Scooby and Scrappie.
Mike is survived by his spouse, Monica Madison; sons, Michael Madison II, Cayden Madison, step-sons, Charles Havard and Joseph Havard; granddaughter Bella Madison; siblings, Darlene and husband Richard Dickerson, Deborah Marler Madison, Jackie Carr, Tracy Madison and Chris Madison.  Family friends DeAnna, Lajuana and Julie Powell and Danny Lee. His dogs, Arian and Moon along with the Huddled Masses.
Michael found solace in the art of music.  He was in various bands throughout his life and could often be found at The Moon singing Karaoke with passion and soul or strumming the strings of his guitar.
Michael's wit and humor consistently brought smiles to the faces of those around him.  As we bid farewell to Michael Scott Madison, let us remember the laughter, the music and the enduring kindness that defined his journey.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.

He was raised in Monclova, Monterey, Mexico with his siblings. At the age of 18 he moved to Roselle, Illinois. He was working for a strapping company, AJ Gerrard, He met and married Evangelina Rodriguez and together the raised 3 daughters. As time went on they went in separate directions and Ernesto became a single dad. He enjoyed dancing and actually met his future wife, Manuela on the dance floor. A friendship that grew into a long lasting (40+ years)marriage. They made their way to La Porte with his daughter, Edna and her three children. The family settled in to Texas life. Ernesto took a job at NASA and work there for 40 years. While off work he was busy raising his girls. He loved taking them on adventures. It could be a trip to the post office for Manuela’s stamps or any other place along the way and he always made it an adventure. They may have lived within modest means, but he made it all exciting. He never had limits and was always the first to try new things. He loved photography and always enjoyed sitting outside in the morning with his coffee. He watched the sun rise and took many beautiful photos. After he retired, he and Manuela moved back to Mexico for a while, but returned to Texas when Manuela started facing health issues.
Although Ernesto was battling diabetes and taking dialysis treatment, his passing came suddenly and quite the surprise to all. He passed on December 26, 2023. Ernesto is now reunited with Manuela and his parents. He is survived by his siblings, Apolonia, Irma and Alcario. His children, Edna Gaitan, Sandra Gaitan and Martha Rodriguez De Leon. He also leaves his grandchildren, Genesis Flores, Jonathan Flores, Jason Flores and Hugo Campos. His great-granddaughter Athena Antonella Flores will miss him terribly. There are many extended family members and friends that will miss him as well.

Obituary Preview: Ethan Caleb Peña-Park was born in Houston, Texas on May 20, 2003; Ethan grew up in Baytown, Texas with his parents, Clayton W. Park and Pedro Peña III. He was an absolute delightful, curious child with a quick wit and a sharp mind. As he grew into a teen, he was active in Basketball and had quite a few hobbies that he enjoyed with his friends, including the widespread friends he made while gaming (PlayStation). Ethan was growing into a young man of good character. He graduated from Lee High School and was taking some time to decide his career choices. The family made a short move to La Porte where Ethan’s loyalty was shared with even more friendships. He enjoyed Tejano music and could be found most days working out at Species Gym. One of the activities he enjoyed was participating in Wreaths Across America during the Christmas holiday. He volunteered his time placing Christmas wreaths on the headstones of fallen military at the Houston National Veterans Cemetery. This was just one of his
activities that showed his compassion and the love that he shared so generously. On November 13, 2023, coming home from the gym, Ethan’s life ended all too soon. His parents and all those who knew him feel the deep impact of this
promising young man’s future come to an abrupt stop. Ethan is survived by his parents, Clayton W. Park and Pedro Peña III, his grandmothers, Mary Peña and Diane Harris, his younger brother, Evan Boyette, Ethan’s godfather, David Hrncirik, his aunt, Carolyn Doucette and two cousins:
Christian and Christopher, Uncle Roy Johnson and the birth mother Sylvia Reed. There are too many friends to mention them all but the bonds ran especially deep
between Ethan and Parnell, Aunica, Sofia, Andre, A.J., Isiah, Kavon and Damien. Ms. Ruby, the family dog, just doesn’t understand why he’s not home. There are many extended family members that will miss him dearly. We celebrate his short life and will remember his love, strength of character, the compassion he had for
others and the loyalty he exhibited to many.

Obituary Preview: David Alan Edwards, 70, passed unexpectedly at 9:13 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023. David was born on August 28, 1953, in Los Angeles, California and was the first-born child of Winefred Ann Edwards (Hopson) and William Myron Edwards. David’s family moved to La Porte in 1966 and he had many friends due to his love of life and wonderful sense of humor. David graduated from La Porte High School in May of 1971, attended the University of Houston followed by a successful engineering career in the oil and gas industry.
David met his future wife, Charlotte Anne Bradshaw in high school, where they were both members of their high school band. He married Anne in La Porte, Texas in June of 1975. They went on to have a family that was completed by their five children, David Brian, Laura Renée, Christopher Michael, Elizabeth Anne, and George Thomas Edwards.
David worked hard all of his life to provide for his family and was loved by his colleagues due to his hard work and dedication. David was sorely missed since his retirement in July of 2022. He adored nature, his family, his faith, art, music, photography and had a deep love of his country. David was an accomplished musician and played several instruments including guitar and drums. He was also talented at recording and mixing music, creating original music compositions and even took up oil painting upon retirement.
David was preceded in death by his former wife, Charlotte Anne Bradshaw-Edwards, his son, David Brian Edwards, his parents, Winefred Ann Edwards (Hopson) and William Myron Edwards, as well as his brothers, John William Edwards and Thomas Joseph Edwards.
David is survived by four of his children, Laura Renée (husband Brian Kenneth) Evans, Christopher Michael Edwards, Elizabeth Anne Edwards and George Thomas Edwards.
He will be greatly missed by the grandchildren who adored him, Addison Anne Evans, Benjamin Kenneth Evans and Nathaniel Robert Evans; as well as his sister Karen (husband Kurt) Schexnayder, nephew, Jason Schexnayder and his niece, Jenna Cooley.
Words cannot express our sorrow at David's unexpected passing. He is mourned by his many friends and extended family.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM with the option of attending a viewing one hour prior to services, on Saturday, November 18th. Both the viewing and the funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4202 Yellowstone Drive, Pasadena, Texas 77504.
Bishop Richard Padron will officiate. Burial will be in the La Porte Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Edwards, George Thomas Edwards, Brian Evans, Benjamin Evans, Nathaniel Evans, Christopher Herzog, Steve Smith and Delwin Long. Born on December 27, 1963, in Pasadena, Gary was a kind and humble man with a great sense of humor. He was a God-fearing individual who took pride in his business, Houston On Call. Gary had a deep love for music, animals, and spending time near the water and at his favorite parks. He enjoyed writing blogs, playing the guitar, and going on drives.
Gary is survived by his beloved son, Justin W Jankovic, his brother Larry Harper, sister-in-law Nicole Harper, sister Tammy Jackson, and many other cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Nell Harper, father Billie Jack Dale Harper, and brother Darrell Harper.
As the owner of Houston On Call, Gary dedicated himself to his career. He was known for his hard work, professionalism, and commitment to providing excellent service.
A memorial service was held in honor of Gary at Clear Lake Park in Seabrook, Texas. A memorial bench will also be dedicated to him at the park, a place he loved dearly. Stepping Stone Funeral Home, specifically Stepping Stone Celebrations, located in La Porte, Texas, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
Gary Wood Harper will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kind heart, love for music, and dedication to his family and business will always be remembered. May his soul rest in peace.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years: Sheila Anderson; his three children, Douglas Anderson Jr., James Anderson, and Michaela Anderson; and his two sisters, Margaret Lynn Eddy and Susie Black. He was fortunate to have four grandchildren whom he loved very much: Aeden Lea, Maria Isabel, Cherri Blossom, and Connor Blythe, as well as three nephews and two nieces. Douglas was predeceased by his mother, Hazel Ola Anderson; his father, Lynnwood E. Anderson; brothers, John Elliott, Don Evans, and James Lea; and sister, Nelda Jean Anderson Wood.
After graduating from La Porte High School in 1971, Douglas went on to serve the United States Army and Army Reserves for 13 years and eventually rose to the position of Staff Sergeant (E-6). He was a volunteer firefighter and a paramedic for La Porte, being awarded several medals for his bravery and honor. In 1985 Douglas was awarded one of the medals by the State of Texas for risking his life and saving a little girl from drowning.
Douglas was known to be especially compassionate and caring to everyone in need. In 1984, Douglas graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences. He was incredibly smart, striving to learn more and increasing his knowledge of technology. Douglas was considered a genealogist, contributing to multiple genealogy associations. He could often be found researching and talking to anyone he could about family history. Anyone who knew Douglas knew that he was a stubborn and hardheaded man but the most loving father and husband a family could ask for.

Obituary Preview: Amy Dawn Helm was born on November 1, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri to Brenda Sue Jeffries and James (Jim) A Helm. The Helm family moved to Texas in 1982. Amy attended La Porte High School and continued her education at San Jacinto College. She worked in the chemical industry, earning many certificates in safety training. Her strong work ethic helped her achieve the position of a Confined Space Supervisor & Safety Specialist. Amy’s greatest joy in life was being a mom to her son Nicholas. He will be forever grateful for her love and guidance. She poured her unending energy into her many interests. She had a talent for decorating, organizing and keeping a very tidy home. She enjoyed gardening and growing Plumeria, Hibiscus, Azaleas, Roses and many other plants. She loved the many animals she had over the years. Her happy place was on the water, in lakes and on the bay. She enjoyed taking her wave runner out in the morning and returning home in time to clean up and make dinner. She always enjoyed exploring new places and going on mini adventures. During her down time, she could be found watching Football or Nascar, with a plate of hand sliced mild cheddar and crackers with a ‘lil bit of Tabasco.
Amy is survived by her parents, Brenda and James Helm; her son Nicholas D Warford and his father Gerald D Warford; her brother Jerimy: nephews Matthew and Zachariah; aunts Sharon, Deana, Lissa, and Deborah; uncles Jerry and Jeff; and grandfather Gail.

Penny Eileen Wiggins - September 16, 1942 - April 13, 2023

Obituary Preview: Penny Eileen Rodgers Wiggins was born on September 16, 1942 in Houston, Texas and graduated to her eternal reward on April 13, 2023 at eighty years of age.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Donald Wiggins, her parents, William Butler Rodgers and Thelma Lorraine Rodgers, infant sister, Sharon Rodgers and great-grandson, Elijah Joseph Wyche.
She is survived by one sister, Peggy Willis and two daughters, Candy (Stephen) Hente and Lorrie (David) Stockman and a dear stepdaughter, Wyona Wyche. She is survived by 10 grandchildren, Olin Meadows, Christopher Wyche, Trevor Stockman, Ale Wyche, Bethany Zarcone, Quinton Wyche, Dwight Stockman, Mallory Zarcone, Christy Zarcone and Caleb Stockman and 2 great-grandchildren.
Penny graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School where she was an active member of the swim team. She was a finalist in the Miss Houston pageant and a stewardess for Trans Texas Airways. She met her future husband, Don, when she was only 13 years old. He was a grocery store clerk and she made frequent trips to buy groceries.
She spent most of her professional life working in the business offices of various physicians. She retired in 2004 as the executive secretary to the director of the Houston Housing Authority, where she worked for 15 years.
If there was one thing she would want to be remembered for, it was that she loved God and loved her family. When you were hers, she loved you fully, loyally, deeply and unconditionally whether you were her family, friends or a sports team. She was an avid sports fan, but only supported Houston teams, regardless of how good or bad the team was, because they were her team. One thing her family never doubted was her love for them. She loved giving gifts and seeing the joy it would bring to those she loved. She never ended a phone call without telling you she loved you.
In 1971 she encountered the presence of God and it changed her life forever. Together with her husband, they endeavored to honor God in many ways, faithfully attending and serving in church, participating in Bible study groups and eventually starting a church in Kerrville, Texas.
She was blessed with many loyal friendships that spanned more than 50 years including her dear friends, Ruth Hogan Welborn, Bryan & Margaret Morrison, Ron & Judy McKee and Cecil & Sharon Holliman. She loved chatting with those she loved, playing games and croqueting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

His is preceded by his grandparents, Joe and Shirley Pojar, his great grandparents, Mamie Chimino, Elmer and Ruby Jones.
He is survived by his mother, Bobbie and Tommy King, Turner Savoy and Tracy Savoy. He is also survived by his brother, Matthew Fleming, his granddad Russell Cimino and Beth Cimino, Aunt Brenda and Uncle Johnnie Smith, Aunt Betty Goolsby, his Uncle Kenneth and Aunt Holly Jones, Cousins Trisha Goolsby, Rocky Goolsby and many more. He is also survived by his best friends Meranda and Willie Davis and Cody Davis, Cheyenne Davis Pope and several extended family and many friends.

Obituary Preview: Denise Ione (Bain) Spevack was born July 21, 1954 in Des Moines, IA to Gladys Ione (Cossel) Bain and William Leroy Bain. She grew up in Des Moines with her brothers, Bill, Bob and Dick. Denise graduated from East High School and then took some college classes. On March 2, 1973 she married Lloyd Spevack. In pursuit of opportunity they moved to La Porte, Texas.
Their family grew by two, welcoming children Judy and James. Denise took a job at Pet Smart and worked in the Equine department as well as being a cashier. She and Lloyd enjoyed raising the children and their many pets, Angie, Stella, Merlin and Ripley. Denise felt the call and joined Christian Faith Ministries. As Reverend Denise Spevack she served her community in several ceremonies. Denise returned to the Lord on March 13, 2023 where she will be reunited with her parents, Roy and Gladys Bain; her in-laws Vernon and Janet Spevack and her brothers Bill, Bob and Dick Bain.
She is survived by her husband Lloyd, her children Judy (Mike) Tully and James (Holly) Spevack; grandchildren, Christian (Callie), Travis (Ariel), Madison, Rose, Eleanor, Aaliya, Alyssa and Mavis. She also leaves great grandchildren; Emily and Oliver as well as four sister-in-laws, six nieces, three nephews and many cousins. There are many friends and extended family that will miss her dearly.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Alton “Al” Jackson, her parents Thelma Love Miller and Allen Westbrook, brothers Cliff and Lowell Westbrook, and children David Allen Jackson and Debra Kay Willis.
She is survived by her sister Sarah Krustchinsky, daughter-in-law Gwendolyn Jackson, and son-in-law John Willis.
Betty was the proud grandmother to Kristen Morris, Dustin Jackson, Derek Willis and Jacob Jackson. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Tristan and Emersyn Morris and Zane Willis.
Betty was a long time member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, one of her many passions. She loved teaching children and brought joy to many hearts. In church, she shared her love for the Lord through sign language by signing worship songs.
Her home was always open to family and friends to share a cup of coffee and dessert. She also shared her love of bowling with her team and friends and grandchildren.
She lived a full life in Christ and will be missed as a loving and beloved mother, grandmother and friend.

She grew up with her siblings in Ottumwa until the fateful day she met Raymond Leon Shullaw. They were united in marriage on January 10, 1969 in Ottumwa. The couple made a move to Texas in the early 80’s for a job opportunity. They started their lives welcoming children, Lisa, Sherri, and Christopher. Aside from being a wonderful wife and mother, Anita was a property manager for over 30 years. As she and Raymond continued, Anita became a caretaker to her husband and lovingly cared for him until his death in 2013. She took great joy in welcoming her grandchildren. She loved them all so much; children, grandchildren and her dogs. At the age of 71, and life full of love, she passed peacefully in the arm of her daughter, Sherri.
Anita is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, daughter Lisa, siblings Donald and Richard (Dick) Jones and family dog Casey Lynn.
She will be missed dearly by her children, Sherri and husband Doug Ditrich and Christopher and wife Dawn Shullaw. She also leaves 2 siblings, Mark Mace and Shirley Celania. Her legacy will live on with her grandchildren, Holly and husband Jalen Jackson, Tyler Smith, Jessica and husband Ricky Rivas, DJ Ditrich, Kolton Ditrich, Josh and Emily Shullaw, Ryan Walker, and Austin Walker. Her life was rich because of friends like Norman and Judy Ditrich, Linda and Perry McPherson, Torres Family, McKinney Family, and Stagg Family. Besides her loving family, Anita found no greater happiness than the time she spent with all her animals; Fletch, Romeo, Lily, Sam, and Aero. She always said that the pets could see right to her soul with their little cute eyes.
Anita (Granny / Ne-Ne) will be laid to rest at Brookside Memorial Park. This loving, devoted and faithful woman will now be made new in God’s Holy Kingdom.

DeeDee attended La Porte High School. As she became an adult she took great pride in caring for not only her own children, but her nieces and nephews as well. As her children grew, she always had room in her house and especially her heart for her grandkids.
She loved watching the gospel channel, specifically Bishop TD Jakes and Creflo Dollar. She found great joy in caring for her grandkids, nieces and nephews. On her free time she went to the game room with friends. She enjoyed many foods, but her favorites were fish, boiled veggies, chicken & dumplings and Fried Oysters. At the time of her passing she was an active member of House of Prayer in Baytown. In earlier years she attended Gospel Temple, Church of God in Christ with Elder Freddy Doughty in La Marque, TX.
DeeDee passed suddenly on December 30, 2022 in Baytown, TX. She will again be with her parents, Horace and Iline, her grandparents, Elmo Walker and Ferris Merrit and her siblings; Beverly Walker, Vincent Walker, Clifton Walker, Horace Walker and Melvin Walker.
She leaves behind many who loved her including her brother, Darrel Walker. She also leaves her son, Stanley Walker and daughters, Tiesha Walker and Krystal Walker. There are a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.

She was an only child until her younger sister, Debra Louise Diamond Parker, was born 13 years later, in 1956. Ann attended and graduated from Milby High School in 1962.
Ann married her first husband Kenneth Toon, which resulted in the birth of their daughter, Tammy Toon in 1964. Ann married her second husband, George Burl Holstead, Jr., and they resided in Houston for many years until his premature death from illness in 2004. Ann then married Charles Crosby in 2019, in Houston, TX. Ann spent her life taking care of her family, and helping her family with working at Standard Auto Parts, and American Auto Parts for many years as a sales representative.
Ann died on December 11, 2022, after a short illness. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Toon Wilton and her husband Brian Wilton of Kansas City, MO, three grandchildren, Crystal Powell and her husband James Powell of League City, TX, Destiny Wilton and Brent Wilton of Kansas City, MO, and two great grandchildren, Holland Powell and Hayden Powell of League City, TX, a sister, Debra Diamond Parker and her husband Ron Parker of Brenham, TX, a brother, Rocque Diamond of Brenham, TX, a niece, Brandi Parker Tubb and her husband Jason Tubb of Cedar Park, TX, a nephew Kent Parker and his wife Karina Parker of Baytown, TX, and numerous cousins, great nieces, great nephews and other extended family members.
Ann’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and close friends, and dancing to classic country music, as well as country rock and vintage rock and roll. She loved taking in stray animals and caring for her dogs and cats, who all depended on her and flourished from her kindness. She enjoyed good times and was known to play a practical joke or two on those who knew her well. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Steve was diagnosed with cancer and it was a very short time before his time on earth was complete. He passed away December 5, 2022.
Steven is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cindy. He also leaves his children, Stevie & Kaitlynn Morrow, Scottie Morrow & Emily Vercher and grandchildren Brison, Austynn and Carsynn Hocutt. There are uncles; Larry Morrow & wife Laronda, Larry Claxton and wife Mary Ann, Aunts; Brenda Turner and husband Mike, Deanna Morrow and Shirley Allen and husband Steve, many cousins and priceless friends.
