May 11, 2024.

Judy was born November 23, 1938 in Corry, PA to Wilbur and Alice (Benedict) Camp. She graduated from Clymer Central High School as valedictorian in 1956 and with Honors in Nursing from the University of Buffalo in 1960, where she was tapped for the Cap and Gown Senior Women’s Honorary Society. She practiced Nursing and Nursing Education for 60 years in Chautauqua County, NY and Tampa, FL. At age 72, she earned her Master of Nursing Education at the University of South Florida, completing a

life-long goal. Judy was one of seven board members who founded Hospice of Hillsborough (now LifePath Hospice) in Tampa in 1983, serving as Secretary of the Board. She felt especially fortunate to have been involved in the evolution of hospice care in the United States. In 1995, she became one of the earliest nationally Certified Hospice Nurses and

maintained that certification for 20 years. As a member of First Presbyterian Church of Brandon, she was involved with the Health Ministry, senior group (SAGE), Veterans programs, Heifer International, the Alzheimer’s Walk and numerous other projects. She enjoyed her church friends and working with

her fellow nurses there. She had a deep intellectual curiosity her entire life. Her interests were music, art and history. An evening at the Performing Arts Center or a trip to local art museums were her favorite outings. In 2018, she travelled with her family to Salem, MA to visit the homestead of Rebecca Nurse, her eight times great aunt. She loved being immersed in the early New England history in Salem, Boston and Concord, NH. In 2020, she began studying the life of publisher and politician Horace Greeley, whose parents lived in her hometown of Clymer, NY. In 2022 Western New York Heritage magazine published an

extensive article, co-written by Judy, on his life and political activity. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Virginia Camp Glavis and Nina Camp Beckerink, niece Brenda Meeder and nephew Nelson Beckerink. She is survived by her three daughters, Alisa, Shawn and Gina (Donald), grandchildren Benjamin, Casey, Patrick and Kathleen. She had many dear nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and was especially grateful for the special bond with her nieces Ramie

Colvin, Sally Beckerink, and Julie Ganske. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Brandon, 121 Carver Avenue, Brandon, FL 33511 on Saturday, June 8th at 2pm. A hometown memorial

service and interment will take place in Clymer, NY at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to: Family Promise of Hillsborough County

Dell was a fun, loving, and giving person. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local and enjoyed his dozer and drag line business, as well as owning and operating a used car lot. He found joy in buying and selling equipment and dealing with livestock. In his free time, Dell loved fresh water fishing and traveling.

Dell is survived by his wife, Anita Wheeler Beck, his sons Randy (Patti), Lee (Linda), and Michael, his sister Alene (Lewis), his sisters Carolyn Jones and Linda Watson, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Mark was a devoted loving father who cherished his daughter, Rylee. He enjoyed theme parks, was an avid Metallica fan, and enjoyed traveling to concerts. He was a passionate, lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates fan. In the last decade of his life, he became a serious health enthusiast. Mark was a dedicated hard worker who loved his job as a branch manager with Tropic Supply. He was a native of Brandon, Florida and regularly attended Nativity Catholic church.

He is survived by his daughter Rylee Harris, his mother and stepfather Sheila and Jody Pugh, his father Milt Harris (Joanne Davis), and his sister and brother in law Brenna and Eric Olson. Mark will be deeply missed by many.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon.

A lifelong resident of the area, she was born July 20, 1964, to Edward and Marion Scanlan. Left to cherish her memory is her soul mate, Keith Northrup, who she married in 1988. Elizabeth is also survived by her brother, Edward ‘Chip’ Scanlan (Kathy); sister, Mary ‘Kayzie’ Weaver (Jimmy); mother-in-law, Marilyn (Tommy) Greiner; sisters-in-law, Janet (Brad) Ward, Gayle (Dwight) Marshall and numerous nieces and a nephew. Douglas Richard Willets - July 04, 1937 - April 14, 2024

Obituary Preview: Douglas Willets, 86, was born on July 4,1937 in Tampa, Florida. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa. Douglas attended Seminole Elementary, Memorial Junior High, and Hillsborough High School, Class of 1956. He died in Tampa on April 14, 2024, surrounded by his family who loved him immensely.

Douglas served in the U.S. Marine Corp after graduation. While stationed in Jacksonville he met and married Elizabeth (Betty) Weaver. Upon completion of service, he moved his family to Tampa. He worked at Tampa Armature for the next 6 years, then worked for GTE/Verizon for 27 years as a supervisor until his retirement.

Douglas personified the Marine motto “Semper Fi”. He was always faithful and loyal to his friends and family. Family first was how he lived. He modeled this for us every day. For example, when he gave up his home and retirement to move to his childhood home to care for his mother and brother. He would have climbed the highest mountain and swam the largest ocean for his family. He was a great listener, caregiver, adviser, debater, teaser and hard worker. He enjoyed working with his Ham radios and attending Ham conventions. He also took great pride in his yard, constantly working to keep it beautiful.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, Walker and Velma Willets and his brother, David Willets.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth; his two daughters, Linda (Daniel) Sheppard and Lori (Jim) Hamm; six grandchildren: Danielle (Rob) Sanchez, Alisa (Tyler) Ragghianti, Jessica Hodson, Ryan (Dayna) Sheppard, Jesse Hamm, and Kristina Sheppard and eleven great-grandchildren: Savannah, Carter, Olivia, Emma, Mason, Lukas, Jacob, Leah, Scarlett, Cayson, and an arrival in August.

A memorial service for Douglas will take place at Southern Funeral Care in Riverview, FL, on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 2 PM with family receiving friends one hour prior. Jeans are welcomed as that’s what he wore.

Obituary Preview: Calvin J. Osterhoudt, 62, of Brandon, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family and BSA Scouting in the Tampa Bay area.

Calvin was born on August 7, 1961, in North Tarrytown, New York. He was the second child born; his older sister Jeanne, was just 13 months old when he arrived. He spent many hours at the Ossining Fire House with his Father and friends who became family.

Calvin enjoyed playing with the Drum Corp in parades at many locations in New York. He worked as a security guard, correction officer, and Paramedic. He was most proud of his work as a Volunteer Firefighter at the Senate H & L. He obtained a degree in information technology (IT) shortly after the birth of his son from Kaiser University.

Calvin also served his country by enlisting in the Air Force. He served as a Senior Airman and Crew Chief of a KC 135 which flew missions to refuel fighter planes. Calvin was described as a true American Patriot. He was proud of his Veteran status and supported charities that also supported American Service Veterans.

Calvin married Ramona in March of 2011 in Clearwater, Florida. Just a few months later, his son Gage was born. Together they built a life, navigating the challenges and celebrating the victories as a family. Calvin shared his love of airplanes with his family, often attending air shows in the Central Florida area. Together Calvin and Gage would work on projects, fixing household mishaps and maintaining the yard. Calvin earned the title of “Daddy fix-it”.

Calvin could not wait for the day that Gage could join Cub Scouts; he wanted to continue a tradition of the previous three generations. He bravely took the role of the Den Leader as a first time Scout parent and went on to become involved in many scout events. He joined the District Council and was a key part of event planning. His scout family knew he was dependable and methodical. Calvin was known for his ability to fix things, build campfires and five am coffee.

Calvin was preceded in death by his father, Calvin J. Osterhoudt; Aunt Carol Bufo (Fred) and Uncle George Losee.

Calvin leaves behind his wife, Ramona and son, Gage. He is also survived by his Aunt Jane Losee; his mother, Shirley Gilbert (Peter); sister, Jeanne Bullock (Carl); nephews, Duane Head, Nicholas Repanti and niece, Lisa Crocker (Raleigh). His father and mother-in-law, Ronald and Ruth Wilson and sister-in-law, Rhonda Wilson-Smith (Andy). His great nieces and nephews include: Hunter Rubano, Anthony Rubano, Gianna Rubano, Gunnar Head, Jensen Head, Ava Crocker, Tessa Crocker.

A memorial service will be held for Calvin on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 6:30 PM at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church, 604 N Valrico Road, Valrico, FL 33594.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations can be made in Calvin’s name to the Boy Scouts of America, Greater Tampa Bay Area Council, Troop 109, Valrico, Florida, by going to tampabayscouting.org.

Caron was born on November 6, 1964, in Streator, Illinois, to Edward Kenneth Cole and Rosemary Agnes Carbone. Caron is preceded in death by her beloved parents, siblings David Cole and Susan "Sue" Cole Hawk, and her grandmother Emma Carbone.

Caron was blessed with two loving families, the Coles and the Garzas, who brought her a lifetime of happiness. Caron is survived by her life partner of 19 years, Janie Hughes, Janie’s daughters Nicole and Kristey Hughes, Caron’s daughter Kristine (Evan) Redstone, and Caron’s son Caleb Cole-Chandler. She leaves behind her four grandsons, David Moore II, Matthew Redstone, Ronald Redstone, and Rohan Cole-Chandler. She also leaves behind siblings Edward (Sherry) Cole and James (Mary) Cole, sister-in-law Kimberly Cole, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Caron was born and raised in Streator, Illinois. After graduation, she joined the United States Air Force where she proudly served her country for 10 years with the Strategic Air Command (SAC) as a cost analysis specialist. Caron moved to Florida in 1993 after she was honorably discharged from the Air Force. She then attended college at USF and obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work. Later, she discovered her love for numbers and began a career as a program coder.

Caron was a gifted and creative individual who could do anything. She was a member of the Mensa society. Her infectious smile would grab the attention of many. She was loyal and always willing to help anyone in need. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crafts, working on cars, and home repair projects. Her brother Eddie said she was the best female handyman around! She was an amazing cook and made the best pasta dishes, tacos, barbacoa, burnt hotdogs, and cheesecake. Caron loved to travel. She especially enjoyed going to museums, antique shops, and national parks, but her favorite trips were spent with her family near and far. Her most memorable trips involved going back home to Streator, Illinois, to visit her family and friends and enjoy some delicious tenderloins, Mona’s tortellini, and Joe’s pizza.

Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Caron will hold a special place in our hearts. Loved her then, Love her still, Always have, Always will. Services will be held at the Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida on May 17, 2024, at 12:30 P.M. with a Celebration of Life to follow at Janie’s home in Brandon, Florida.  If you plan to attend, her family asks that you wear something colorful to represent Caron’s beautiful life. Her favorite color was Red.

Born on April 5, 1951, in Montreal, Canada, Barbara was a cherished member of her community and a loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister.

Growing up in Montreal and Westport, CT, Barbara developed a lifelong passion for horticulture. She was a graduate of Staples High School in Connecticut and furthered her education at Lasell College in Massachusetts.

Her love for plants was evident to all who knew her as she nurtured more than 50 plants at any given time and earned the title of Master Gardener.

Barbara’s caring nature extended beyond her gardens. She was a dedicated caregiver who brought comfort and joy to many throughout her life. Her love for animals, especially cats, was immense and brought her much happiness. Her life was marked by her strong faith and active involvement in her local church in Florida. There she formed many friendships that brightened her years in the community.

She relished family vacations in Puerto Rico when she was younger, always dreaming of a life surrounded by beaches and palm trees “clicking in the breeze.” A dream that she finally got to live out in beautiful Florida.

Barbara leaves behind her daughter, Danya Lett; granddaughter, Layla Larzalere; brother, Peter Chapman and nieces, Caitlin and Kelsey Chapman, along with countless friends who were blessed to know her.
