Obituary Preview: John V. Hall Sr. 84, widow of Janet Reed Hall, passed away surrounded by family on May 18, 2024, in Winchester, KY. He was the son of the late Dallas B. Hall and Frances Hall. John retired from IBM working in the building maintenance and parts department.
He is survived by one daughter, Jeannie (Tony) Gwynne of Winchester and one son, John V. (Anna) Hall Jr. of Winchester. Four grandchildren, John Gwynne, Janeice Gwynne, Dallas Hall, and Lillian Hall. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Patty Parker, and Elizabeth Carol Hall.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, as this was near and dear to his heart.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 22, 2024, at 1:00pm at Scobee Funeral home with a visitation Tuesday May 21, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00.

Born in Elizabethtown on April 16, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Herman and Lela Mae Keplinger Eggen. Elizabeth retired from the calibration center at the Lexington Blue Grass Army Depot in Lexington, Kentucky.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Lee (Mabel) Wiler of Mt. Sterling, Ronnie Wayne Wiler of Clark County; grandsons, Brandon Lee Wiler, James Logan (Emilee) Wiler both of Mt. Sterling; sister, Bertha Walton of Calvert City; brother, Joseph Eggen of Clark County as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years. She took care of him for 20 years during his battle with cancer. She was also preceded by two of her brothers, Robert Eugene Eggen and Samuel Herman Eggen Jr.
Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Clarmont Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 9:30am until the time of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Whitney Rozman; and brother, Tim Rozman.
His wishes were to be cremated. No services are scheduled at this time.

Service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.

He was born in Winchester, Ky on January 4, 1954, to the late Harold Lloyd McKinney and Margarete Payan McKinney. Bill was a truck driver for many years as well as an avid farmer.
Survivors include daughter, Rebecca McClure of Winchester; son, William M. McKinney (Angelia) of Winchester, Harold Salley of Stanton; grandchildren, Brandon McClure (Madison) of Winchester, Chelsea (Andrew) Morguson of Paris, Dustin (Chloe) Stidham of Richmond; great grandchildren, Branson McClure of Winchester, Ryleigh and Raegan Morguson of Paris; two young men he considered grandchildren, Trenton Christopher and Jaden McClure both of Winchester as well as his beloved dog Sweet Pea.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a son, William David McKinney and a son-in-law, Kennith “Kenny” McClure.
Bill was loved dearly by his family and will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel by Bro. George Naylor Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dustin Stidham, Brandon McClure, Andrew Morguson, Mike McKinney, Trenton Christopher, and Jaden McClure. Honorary pallbearer will be Carl McKinney.
Visitation will begin at 10:30am until the time of service.

Born on March 18, 1984, in Winchester, KY, to Vickie Lee and Ron Partin, Tabby grew into a loving, generous, and intelligent woman who touched the lives of many.
Tabby pursued higher education at Everest University-South Orlando, where she excelled in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Her academic achievements paved the way for a successful career, and since 2016, she had been an integral part of the Panera Bread Company as a Talent Acquisition Manager. Her passion for her work was evident in her dedication and the strong relationships she built within the industry.
Tabby was a devoted mother to her daughter, Aubrey Grace Noble, and cherished her role in Aubrey’s life above all else. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Donith Lee and Richard Lee, along with her niece, Alissa Lee, and nephew, Weston Lee, who will hold her memory dear. She also held a special place in the heart of Rocky Noble, Aubrey’s father, and her extended family members, who will miss her profoundly.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sadie, and Richard Haggard.
Tabitha was best known for her quick-witted humor, fierce determination, and generous spirit. Tabby enjoyed traveling, gardening, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Those who knew Tabby will remember her as a loving mother, a generous friend, and an intelligent spirit whose light shone brightly in the lives of those around her. Her legacy is one of compassion, friendship, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear.
As we say goodbye to Tabitha Dawn Haggard, we celebrate the life she lived and the impact she made on those around her. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester, KY by Dr. Todd Rader. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of the service.

Bill is survived by his children Sarah Elizabeth ( Jeff ) Gilde of Goshen KY and Paul Warren (Katherine) Baber of Winchester KY; six grandchildren, William Scott (Austin) Gilde of Louisville KY, Grace Elizabeth (Josh) Goldberg of Louisville KY, Greta Christine (Jared) Fall of Carmel, IN, William Evan Baber, Mason Conner, and Thomas Rankin Baber all of Winchester; and four great grandchildren Bode Daniel Gilde and Max William Gilde, and Frankie Ora Goldberg and Winnie Leavitt Goldberg all of Louisville KY;
A sister, Carolyn Sue Raney of Winchester; a brother in law, George Richard (Becky) Fox of Orangeburg SC. And numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a brother David Alan Parido and a sister in law, Joanne (Lewis)Fox Ricketts.
Bill was a graduate of Clark County High School. He attended and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling.
Bill began his career as a high school math teacher and was loved by many students. He later became the Director of Pupil Personnel at George Rogers Clark High School. Bill retired as a health physicist for the U.S. Army at the Bluegrass Army Depot in 2007. He then enjoyed teaching GED classes in the Winchester community. He was also a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Winchester.
Bill was loved deeply by his family and they will treasure their memories of him always. His special sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Obituary Preview: On this day, April 24, 2024, our beloved sister, mother and Maw Maw, Lovella Sue Barrowman went to heaven to be with our Lord.
Born February 5, 1943, she was the second of 11 children. Left to mourn her loss is brothers Ray Talbert of Ohio, Baxter Talbert of Missouri, David Talbert of Ohio; sisters, Becky Snyder of Washington State, Joanie Hackler of Oklahoma; grandson, Justin Belcher; great grandchildren, Maddie, Gaby and Levi of Sevierville, Tennessee, and several extended family members across Kentucky, Ohio, and Washington State. She also is survived by the last love of her life and caretaker, Elwood Ward. He worshipped and dearly loved her. They shared 18 wonderful years together.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Rex, and Viola (Nixon) Talbert; husband, Joe T. Barrowman; brothers, James, and Don Talbert; sisters, Lois Vandyke and Charlotte Godby. Her greatest loss was her daughter, Cathy Sue Castle and her son, Ronnie Belcher.
In true form she survived and mastered anything she decided to do. She was an avid quilter, winning first place several times. It was a pleasure to be part of her life and she will be missed always.

Obituary Preview: William “Marty” Jackson, 73, loving and dedicated husband to Jeannie Marie Mann Jackson, went to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 14, 2024, after spending the day with his family. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on August 30, 1950, he was the son of the late William Martin and Nannie Roberts Jackson. Marty has been a staple in the law enforcement community for the last 50 years. He began his journey in 1973 when he became a member of the Paris Police Department before transferring to the Winchester Police Department in 1977. In 1989, he was appointed Police Chief until his retirement in 2008. After only a few months, he returned to the WPD on patrol and later was promoted to sergeant. Marty cared deeply for all his fellow first responders that he served in the line of duty with.
Marty was a member of Grace Bible Church in Winchester and devoted Christian. He loved the Lord with all his heart, and he wanted all others to come to know Christ as their Savior. He lived this example out to his family every day. Marty loved his community of Winchester and wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, who dearly loved him, Julius Talpas, Jennifer (Keith) Berryman-English, Marti (Carl) Miracle, Maria (Luke) Mansfield; grandchildren, Jahde, Brody, Jackson, Laila, Emma, Khloe, Lincoln. Tilly, Dylan, Destiny, and Julia. Also, two great grandchildren, Kinley and Aiven. Marty was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather to his family. He will always hold a special place in their hearts that will be cherished deeply until they are reunited in heaven one day soon.
Marty is also survived by a community of friends who loved him greatly.
Marty, husband, daddy, papaw, friend, we love you! We can’t wait until that glorious day we are reunited with you again.
Pallbearers will be Julius Talpas, Dylan Talpas, Carl Miracle, Keith English, Luke Mansfield, and Brody English. Honorary pallbearers Jackson Miracle, and Lincoln Shepherd.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until the time of service on Saturday at GRC.
Services will be at 12:00 pm at GRC on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Burial will follow at the Winchester Cemetery.
