Jean was born February 15, 1941 in Louisiana, MO the daughter of Arthur and Vernita Roady. She married James Prescott July 3, 1959 in Rock Island. He passed away Sept. 7, 2010. Jean worked for the Rock Island Post Office for over 40 years retiring in 1992. She was very active and enjoyed crafting, quilting, bowling and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her children James N. Prescott and Mary Prescott; grandchildren Travis Prescott, Zackary Prescott, Rachel Hunter and Jeremy Prescott; 11 great grandchildren; sister Carol Sue Hollis and a brother Arthur Roady.

Chuck was born Dec. 22, 1952 in Moline, IL the son of Charles Jr. and Dora Bolender Reese. He married Bev Allen Oct. 6, 1973 in Moline, IL. Chuck worked for Metropolitan Airport Authority retiring in August of 2010 after 31 years. He was a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship and was a Volunteer Fireman for the City of Silvis for 20 years retiring in 1997. He enjoyed computers and electronics, woodworking and going for drives. He also enjoyed coffee time with his friends in the mornings.
Survivors include his wife Bev; sons Adam (Chandra Cretton) Reese and Eric (Shaynna) Reese; grandchildren Kassandra and Kimberlin; sisters Delores (Wayne) Kay and Phyllis (Wayne) Gromm.

Donald was born August 14, 1934, in Metropolis, Illinois, the son of Gordon and Mildred Wilson Russell. He attended United Township, class of 1952. Donald married Donna Inskeep, January 14th, 1954 in East Moline. Don proudly served in the Air Force and retired after 21 years of service. Later he retired from JB Hunt. Don loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Don is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Doreen (Dan) Gray; sisters, Peggy (Vern) Schwartz and Barbara Woods; grandchildren, Jennifer (John) VanDeGenachte, and Kyle (Lynnette) Schwenneker; great grandchildren, Jacob, Kaleb, Brody, Collin, and Ava.

LaSalle Orlean Efting was born in Sheldon, Iowa on August 22, 1917. She was the Daughter of Gerett Efting and Marie Druger. They later moved to a farm in Sibley,
Iowa. LaSalle married Levio Columbia (Columbo) in 1938. They were later divorced.
She married Wayne Gasahl in 1965 in Sibley, Iowa, where they later retired from the Family owned Gasahl Pharmacy. On retiring they moved to Branson, Missouri and opened a Turquoise Jewelry Store. Her husband later passed away. In her early Year's she worked for Dr. Otis and then Pat Sundine. While retired, she enjoyed reading, hanging out at McDonalds, shopping at The Salvation Army and Goodwill.

James proudly served in the Air Force during the Viet Nam Era. He retired from John Deere Parts in Milan in 1999. James enjoyed motorcycle riding, golfing, fishing and wrenching on cars. He also loved to help people.
Survivors include 7 children; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; 3 sisters; 2 brothers and many many very special nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 1 brother and 1daughter..

Velma was owner operator of Smallwood Bus Service and drove the school bus for Briar Bluff School. She later worked as an auditor for The Bank of Silvis retiring in 1980. Velma enjoyed reading, square dancing, fishing, camping, playing cards, flowers and painting.
Survivors include her children Wayne Barber of Colona, Dennis (Vangy) Barber of Niland, CA, Paul (Diane) Barber of Storm Lake, IA, Linda (Allan) Smith of Davenport and Jeff Smallwood of Carbon Cliff; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and brothers Ardy and Herb McIntosh.

Evelyn served in the Navy during WWII. She worked as a secretary for John Deere retiring after 22 years. Evelyn enjoyed traveling, with several visits to Europe and Canada. She was an avid card player of Bridge, Euchre and Bingo. Evelyn enjoyed many of the outdoor activities hosted by Moline Activity Center, especially when the lead singer, Mike, from Coupe deVille, serenaded her with one of her favorite Elvis songs. Evelyn was a member of Clara Lodge Vikings Club and Hope United Church of Christ in Moline.
Survivors include her children Linda, and Randy (Margaret); nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He married Dorothea Daniels Nov. 19, 1949 in Peoria, IL. Rodney was a railroad engineer for Rock Island Lines retiring on 1986 after 39 years. He enjoyed gardening and watching his grandchildren play sports.
Survivors include his wife Dorothea; children Dan Jamieson of Moline, Joann Ackley of Ozark, MO, Susan Jamieson of Rock Island and Jennifer Jamieson of Silvis; grandchildren Nicholas and Michael Ackley; great grandson Colton Ackley and one on the way.

Mayiko was born Sept. 26, 1921 in Japan the daughter of Shinichiro and Haru Iwase. She married Norbert Shelangouski Aug. 11, 1946 after WWII when permission was given by General McArthur for 1000 couples to marry. She was welcomed and loved by her husband’s American family with open arms. Mayiko worked and retired from Chinese Kitchen in Rock Island as a waitress and also worked at Gibberman’s sewing men’s suits.
Survivors include her daughter Sally Shelangouski Ware; grandchildren William J. Ware, Jeffrey A. Ware, Kassie L. (Kyle) Ware Hansen and Jeremy J. Ware; great grandchildren Vaida Mayiko Hansen and Maizey Lucile Hansen.

His 2 previous marriages blessed him with 5 children. Armando retired from Plastics Products in Moline in 2003. He continued to deliver newspapers for 14 years after his retirement. He was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a spiritual man who also enjoyed watching westerns and golf. His smile was infectious and his humor could put a smile on anyone’s face.
Survivors include his wife Laura; children Richard (Angie) Sanchez, Raquel (David) Hess, Armando (Joneatha) Sanchez, Mario A. Sanchez and Maria (Scott) Higdon; step children Brian (Ginger) Fonger and Connie Fonger; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings Maria Del Soccoro, Salvador Sanchez and Juan Sanchez.

Galen (Irene). Children include Marla Jeane (Jeff), William (Mary), Tom (Sharen), Jim (Tammy), and John (Nan). Nine grandchildren include Erin, Andrew, Rebecca, Eric, Greg, Diane, Jeff, Kyle, and Sam, as well as five great
grandchildren. He retired from East Moline Metal Works/Ametek in 1977, and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in East Moline. He served as a WWII Army Medical Corps veteran 1941-1945 in the Aleutian Islands and

Charles was a union steward at John Deere Planter and also worked at McLaughlin Body Company. He also worked in excavating and septic tank service or 18 years.
