He loved Jesus even more than he loved music and actively shared his faith with those of whom he came in contact. As a resident in different locations of Assisted Living homes, he made them his "mission field" to share his rooted belief in the cross and it's power to save and keep you! He led Bible Studies on a regular basis, played Christian music for all of the residents and many nurses would express how they enjoyed walking into his room and hearing the gospel music playing on the Jimmy Swaggart channel, that he always had going on his TV. He consistently shared with all of his fellow residents and staff everything he was learning through his studies of Gods Word. I'm sure the Lord used him in many ways that we will never know.A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2024, in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Leah Sarster officiating.Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
