Roger was raised and educated in Pine Bluff, then worked at Central Moloney for almost 40 years. He enjoyed playing pool and hunting, and was a member of the Shower Trails Hunting Club in Sheridan. Roger also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Reed of White Hall; sons, Stephen Crane of Pine Bluff and Jason Burchett of Pine Bluff; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and brother, Robert Crane of Cabot.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Laura Crane; and brothers, Lloyd Crane and Floyd Crane.
Visitation will be 5:00-700 PM, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 and Robinson & Fuller White Hall. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the funeral home with Bro. Anthony Crane officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: Garland “Gene” Yarbrough, age 75, of Redfield Arkansas, passed away Wednesday May 8, 2024.
He was born June 11, 1948 in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Martin and Gatha Yarbrough. He graduated from Dollarway High School, then served in the United States Army with one tour in Vietnam.
Gene worked at the Cotton Belt Railroad; Pine Bluff Arsenal and retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers as a Lock and Dam Operator in September 2008, after 26 years of service.
Gene loved deer hunting, floating the Buffalo, taking his grandchildren tubing on Lake DeGray, trying to beat his family in ping pong, and spending time with his buddies.
Gene was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jerry Yarbrough and Dale Yarbrough; and his son, Jon “Jay” Yarbrough.
Gene is survived by his wife, Brenda Yarbrough; his former wife, Dianne Graham; daughter, Angela Alexander (Lyn); daughter-in-law, Candy Julian (Ricky); stepson, David Groce (Cristin); sister-in-law, Janice Muse; nine grandchildren, Aubrey Barta (Jon), Ashley Brown, Dylan Yarbrough (Abby), Chance Baughman (Cherisa), Bethany Baughman Dodd, Carson Yarbrough, Presley Yarbrough, Nolan Groce, and Mae Groce; and five great-grandchildren, Arionna Baughman, Adrian Baughman, Anniston Baughman, Jonathan Dodd, and Israel Dodd.

Obituary Preview: Matthew Jomari Nguyen, 18, of Pine Bluff, was an energetic, selfless, athletic and outgoing young man who enjoyed performing on stage, dressing nice, helping others and making people laugh.
He passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024.
Matthew was born August 8, 2005 in Pine Bluff, son of Joe and Maruh Abuan Nguyen.
He was reared and received his early education at Ridgway Christian school in Pine Bluff before graduating from White Hall High School in 2023. He was active at White Hall High School in band, drama club, Spanish Club, yearbook staff and the GATES program.
Matthew was a very talented performer. He danced at MK Dance Studio (now Powerhouse Dance and Tumbling) from the time he was eight years old until he graduated high school. He also loved performing at the Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas. He performed in many shows including Rock of Ages, Outsiders, Miracle on Main, A Seussified Christmas Carol, Mirror, Mirror on the Wall and Charlotte’s Web. Recently, he played Wayne Hopkins in Puffs at the Arts and Science Center.
Along with his parents, survivors include his sister, Jazmine Nguyen; brother, Jasper Nguyen; Godmother, Christine Jacinto; aunt and uncle, Annabelle and Clinton Jacinto; Godmother and Godfather, Lerizza Nunag and Shakespeare Nunag; grandparents, Rosita and Rogelio Abuan; grandmother, Phe Huynh; grandfather, Nhuong Nguyen; aunts and uncles, Janette Leal, Armie Nidua, Ramir Abuan, Rogelio Abuan, Jr., Rosell Abuan, Luan Nguyen, Huong Nguyen, Thu Nguyen, Vy Nguyen and Hieu Nguyen.
A Communion Service will be 5:30 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2024 at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Father Joseph Marconi officiating. Donnie grew up in Farmhaven, Mississippi. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family. She was fondly known for her kindness and generosity. After raising her family, she spent her later years working with her husband in their business.
Donnie is survived by her children, Amanda Reynolds (Ronnie), Chad Reynolds, Charmain Lockhart (Scott), and Dustin Reynolds; grandchildren, Kelli Carroccio (Isaac), Keaton Reynolds (Anna), Colton Reynolds (Megan), Gavin Lockhart, Caitlyn Reynolds, Cole Lockhart; great grandchildren, Peyton Carroccio, Levi Carroccio, Finley Carroccio, Ruby Reynolds, River Reynolds, Waylon Reynolds, and Hazel Reynolds.

Mr. Matthews served as a Pentecostal pastor for over 30 years, retiring from Humphrey Pentecostal Church of God.
He was a loving and devoted family man who made sure his family always knew he loved them, and he will be missed dearly by family and friends.
He loved the outdoors, playing his instruments, serving the Lord, and telling jokes.
He enjoyed playing his guitar, mandolin and fiddle and hunting deer, turkey, squirrel, and rabbits.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Jewell Matthews; son, Mike Matthews; brother, Sonny Mathews; and sisters, Elsie Bates, Lucille Curbow and Annie Sebourn.
Survivors include children, Becky Neu (Nick), Anita Matthews and Mark Matthews (Amy); two sisters, Holly Persons, and Ruby Haller; grandchildren, Josh Robertson, Leslie Richardson, Melissa Brown (Adam), Scott Matthews (Candice), Leann Reed (Brad), Katie Holmes (Tyler), Braden Matthews and Brooklyn Matthews; ten great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

He was born in Star City, Arkansas, on October 22, 1942. He was a member of White Hall United Methodist Church of White Hall, Arkansas.
He retired after 21 years of service with The Pine Bluff Fire Department and worked for The City of White Hall for 14 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Beason Moore, and Charlie Beatrice Moore; his sister, Virginia Socia; brothers, Ovie, Leon, Willard, and Jimmy Moore.
He was a loving husband to his wife, Emily Genette Moore, who stood by him faithfully "in sickness and in health." She was his sweetheart of 59 years. He was a kind loving father to his daughter, Michelle (Chris) Sargent, and two sons, Troy and C.J. (Melissa) Moore. He was also a wonderful grandfather to twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2024, at 1:00 pm and funeral services will follow at 2 pm at White Hall United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in White Hall Methodist Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Marites Sumilang Knight, whom he married on October 12, 2005, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi; children, Brandi Baxter of Walker, Louisiana, Kelly (Jason Austin) Knight of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jarred (Drew) Knight of Walker, Louisiana; his stepfather and mother, Wayne and Shirley Canard of Gautier, Mississippi; grandchildren, Aiden, Slayde, Kash, Hudson, Myles, Brielle, and his fur baby, Beaux.

She was married to Tom DeHass, who preceded her in death along with her parents and her daughter, Ricklyn Chadwick. Hildred was a homemaker for most of her life, having worked in various jobs in her earlier years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always willing and ready to play a good game of Backgammon. She also loved playing cards, especially Hands and Feet. Her family fondly recalls how she loved to garden and to read. It was amazing how much she read.
Hildred was always young at heart and enjoyed life right to the end, when she passed away at the age of 90 years young on Friday, March 22, 2024.
Survivors include her sister, Anneta Ford of White Hall, AR; her brother, Alfred Yaney of PA; and many other relatives, among them, Robin DeHass, Dodie Madigan, Angela Alexander and Nichole Strawser.
She will be laid to rest in Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Forest City, NC.
Local arrangements were entrusted to the care of Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel.

After moving to Arkansas as a child, he received his early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School. He earned his master’s degree from Arkansas State University.
Mark spent his life embracing the beauty of the outdoors. Whether it was fishing at dawn, hunting, or feeding deer.
In addition to his love for the outdoors, Mark was also a passionate educator who dedicated himself to shaping young minds. Mark passionately taught science at Dollarway High School and Pine Bluff High School before retiring from SEARK College. During his career, Mr. Brenke patiently and with unwavering dedication guided countless individuals along their educational journeys, imparting not only knowledge but also invaluable life lessons. His impact extended far beyond the classroom, as former students fondly remember him as a mentor and friend. Mark’s commitment to education leaves an enduring legacy, as he instilled in others the belief that knowledge is the key to unlocking endless possibilities.
As a father and grandfather, Pepaw was a source of unwavering guidance and boundless love. He imparted the values of integrity, hard work, and respect for nature. His wisdom and compassion were ever-present, shaping the lives of those around him. Pepaw delighted in sharing his passion for the outdoors with his family. He patiently taught them the art of hunting and fishing while instilling in him a deep appreciation for nature.
He is survived by his son, Charlie (Whitney) Brenke, his grandson, Tyler (Kaitlin) Brenke and a soon to be great- grandson Krew Bennett.
Though he may have left this world, Mark will forever remain in our hearts.

He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
There will be a private graveside service in Oklahoma.

Following graduation, he became a licensed real estate agent and later went to work for International Paper from where he retired as a foreman. Robert served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Jacob Brump Masonic Lodge and the Whispering Pines Cowboy Church. In his spare time, he loved hunting and fishing, especially at his retirement home in Mountain View. He also enjoyed beekeeping.
Robert passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at his home in Mountain View, at the age of 78. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry and Billy Bradshaw; and two sisters, Donna and Audene Bradshaw.
Survivors include his daughters, Amy and husband, Tony Walters, and Angela and husband, Dr. Keith Smigiel; two grandchildren, Sophia Smigiel and Larz Smigiel; four brothers, Randy, David, Tommy and Mark Bradshaw; one sister, Brenda Hopson; the mother of his children, Brenda Waters Bradshaw; his best friend since high school, Buddy Studervant; his loyal companion, Scooter; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Ann also loved antiques and had owned an antique shop. She was a former president of the Republican Women’s Club and was a member of the Family Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Royal W. “Billy Ray” Fowler, whom she married June 20, 1964 in Pine Bluff, and who passed away February 18, 2004; and three brothers, Jimmy Taylor, Mike Taylor and Larry Ray Taylor.
Survivors include her son, Royal “Bill” Fowler Jr. (Louetta); daughter, Cindy Brazeale (Alan); five grandchildren, Lexy Rayann Fowler, William Drake Fowler, Jacob Brazeale, Josh Brazeale and Justin Brazeale; three great grandchildren, Parker, Jackson and Memphis; and three brothers, Danny Taylor (Betty), Jerry Taylor (Marianne) and Kenny Taylor (Linda).

Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter, Linda Lovelady; and all of her siblings.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, David Enoch; children, David Wayne Enoch and Cheryl Adair; seven grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Darrell Stricklin, Chester Stricklin, Ratchell Picking, Patricia Wolter, and Bonnie Hayes; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 12-great-great grandchildren.

Phillip was reared and graduated from White Hall High School in 1979. He was a member Dollarway Baptist Church was a faithful Christian. He loved reading his Bible and spending time with the Lord.
He spent his younger years on dirt tracks, racing at Midway Speedway and the C Class as number 32. Phillip loved boxing and MMA, he also enjoyed teaching his children and grandchildren about boxing. Most of all, Phillip loved his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Phillip was an operator at the Pine Bluff Street Department for 31 years, then Jefferson County Road Department for 8 years. His co-workers were like family. He loved each and everyone of them.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Barney Wells Sr.; grandson, Jacob Wells; and one brother, John Pitts.
Survivors include his loving wife, Cindy Moore Pitts; two daughters, Christy Johnson (Stephon) and Tammie Huante; 12 grandchildren; one sister, Donna Aud (Robert); and 2 nieces.

Survivors include her sisters, Nora Cooper, Kay Cooper, Ethel McNally, and Molly Cooper; one brother, Sonny Pierce; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she thought of as her own children.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. Monday, February 12, 2024, at Harvest Time Church of White Hall, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Joe served in the National Guard, helped coach his son’s baseball and football teams, was a Shriner and a member of Jacob Brump Lodge No. 160. He had served in the Jefferson County Mounted Patrol and was a union member of the BLET and UTU.
He had worked for the Cotton Belt Railroad, Southern Pacific, and Union Pacific Railroad for 35 years, retiring as an engineer.
Joe loved to be around his family, and enjoyed steer wrestling, bull riding and bronc riding which he competed in. He also enjoyed doing leather work.
He was a member of the Cowboy Church and Greenlee Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George W. Richmond; sisters, Patsy A. Devine, and Bonnie Latham.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Richmond; his sons, Joey (Patti) Richmond, Scotty (Tonia) Richmond, Cody Joe (Lashan) Morris; grandchildren, Tyler (Brittany) Richmond, Nathan Richmond, Nicholas (Zoe) Richmond; great-grandchildren, Weston Richmond and Silas Richmond.

Sherri began working at Jefferson Bolt and Nut when it was owned by her father. Through its transformations to Poor Folks Bolt and Nut, then Southern Arkansas Fasteners, and finally to Little Rock Bolt and Nut, she was a fixture for over 30 years.
She was the ultimate “Softball Mom”. From coaching, serving on the White Hall Girl’s Softball League Board, concession stand working, attending games, or carting girls everywhere, she did it all. Coaching her “Practice Barn Girls” was great fun to her.
Sherri was a very creative person and loved many crafts. If she saw a picture of something or had an idea, she could likely figure out how to make it. She also enjoyed going to any casino, many cruises with her family, and “Glamping” (Glamour Camping) on Lake Catherine.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Hall, whom she married on August 20, 1994; her children, Jessi Ply (Caleb), Karia Beth Hall, Emily Hall, Justin Scroggins (Hannah), and Zack Scroggins (Haley); her grandchildren (who called her “Missy”), Ellijane Ply, Preston Ply, Graham Ply, Macey Scroggins, and Madalynn Scroggins; her siblings, Tami McClain Clark (Tommy) and Scott McClain: a “bonus” son, Bradley McGehee; along with countless other friends.
Sherri’s service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Brother Jim Monroe officiating. A private burial will be held in Center Campground Cemetery at Prague.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Tracy Ann Nix; sister in law, Janice Johnson; father in law, Reloy Johnson; and mother in law, Joan Johnson.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 50 years, Gail Johnson Nix; two sons, Justin (Dara) Nix, and Tim (Sol) Nix; one daughter, Rachel (Brian) Nix Dickerson; five grandchildren, Josie (Chase) Nix Gilbert, Jessica Nix, Mason Delony, Mackenzi Delony, and Bryson Dickerson; and two sisters, Cindy Nix Boyd, and Marty Nix.
